Some Random Weird Body Headcanons for Artair (nonexhaustive):

Artair's bones look opalized if you see them, and many are covered in carved eye symbols.

His blood is usually red with a gold shimmer when exposed to air, but the closer he gets to his embodiments, the more like gold it seems to get in the air, with a faint glow almost like heated liquid metal.

Artair's eyes used to both be the same color. Now the green one can change colors when he's possessed, to match the natural energy or eyes of the one he's hosting. Once he's back to himself, The eye will remain that color a time. It always reverts back to green. If you look closely you can see slight separations in the iris as if it's cracked throughout, but it takes close inspection to notice.

Ough, that's a good one!

Since the delcatty's out of the bag, I guess I can be more open about how Plasma affected me. Since I was taken in so young, I didn't have much opportunity to learn how to think for myself, and I struggled with bodily awareness and identifying my own emotions. But... stories helped me realize how to feel again. I would use warrior skitty comparisons to try and contextualize my own feelings at first, but it wasn't enough.

Media analysis started as a project my therapist gave me, since I was getting frustrated with my inability to identify my own emotions, and our sessions were sort of hitting a plateau. Which is to say, they asked me how my day was, I yelled that I didn't know and started crying, and I'd spend the rest of the session on the couch snuggling my therapist's vulpix. (Baby Fluff was not very emotionally stable lol)

So I started looking for stories. I got a bit into vocaloid-- a couple favorites of mine are the medical anomaly, rolling girl, irony, yellow, and good kid medicine. It gave me words for what I was feeling, proof I wasn't the only one to feel these things. Suddenly I wasn't alone, I wasn't crazy or exaggerating, I had songs that spoke to me. Someone else out there knew what I was feeling and said it better than I could.

Hatsune Miku got me through some rough times, y'know? And the warrior skitty AMVs-- gods, that made up the rest of my music taste. I was never very good at art, except maybe in trying to copy the anatomy drawings because I was bored, but there were incredibly talented people out there. They told brand new stories, or put a twist on existing ones. I never knew there were so many stories out there!

And then there was anime. I couldn't handle anything with fanservice-- bear in mind at that point, I hadn't yet had The Talk, I just knew it made me uncomfortable. So I mostly watched kid's shows, and there was one magical girl show that looked cute.

It was, ah. Madoka Magica, if you're familiar with it. But the grief and hopelessness, the way the girls try to cope with pain and being fundamentally unsuited for something, the loneliness... and later, it's revealed that one character, who actually looked a lot like me before I cut my hair, had a heart condition and low self-esteem. She felt useless, she...destroyed herself for a chance to save someone who was kind to her. And then the bittersweet ending-- that the world can have love and hope even if it sucks. It made me think... maybe it was okay for me to live. It gave me a lot to think about, and holds a special place in my heart to this day.

I started making progress in therapy again. I'd walk in and say something like, "I think Mami Tomoe probably has a lot of guilt because she survived and her parents didn't" and somehow the conversation would turn to the fact that I wasn't taking painkillers like I was supposed to. And maybe it was because I felt like I didn't deserve it.

Just the weak herbal stuff back then, mind you, because ibuprofen scared the shit out of me, but... sometimes I would talk about a character and realize I was seeing myself through them, talking about myself through them, and I finally had a voice. They gave me a voice. So I want to help their stories be understood in return.

okay Secret Life's over and I've only watched Cleo and Skizz's finales.

but I wanna rank the seasons just bc.

Secret Life is honestly 1 for me. it had my favourite alliances yet, I loved the Cletho + Grian team (I refuse to call them 'Roomies'), the Heart Foundation was amazing, the Mounders were pretty cool, I actually really enjoyed Lizzie and Scar being alone, no matter how sad it was. Big Dogs were amazing actually, one of the best pairings, most fun base in all the seasons just off the top of my head :]

but I have to say. first half of the season was my absolute favourite. silly tasks, BigB gaslighting everyone, Lizzie, Mumbo, Jimmy alive, etc etc. it's probably up until the episode they die where it felt like it decreased in enjoyment for me. the zombie apocalypse task was ehhhh, the vibe was cool, very LL energy, but I overall didn't like it all that much (I understand and appreciate it still, but the whole cancelling out other tasks was sad :[)

the vibes of this finale seem... weird.

and you might say I have no place to say that, having only watched two finales and getting spoiled on who the winner is yet again, but I personally didn't enjoy it. everyone felt extremely rushed and fumbled so hard. Joel in particular on his Skizz kill. Cleo didn't get a chance to defend herself, and neither did Etho, and presumably Grian. all the group ups felt off to me. I feel like the Heart Foundation should've stuck more to Cletho + Grian, they all could've done a bit better them I feel.

the massive group of people just sticking together and killing everyone else was a bit ehhh to me, but as Cleo put it, they'd have to kill each other eventually (ive watched it twice and I can't remember exactly what they say. I am a failure :[)

second is Last Life, I was insane over Team BEST for a while, but I'm more insane over Team TIES now (I have reasons I won't say teehee)

Mumbo and Lizzie are here!! they're cool!!

loved the mechanics for this season. boogeyman was very cool, and the random life count was epic. favourite mechanics actually.

lot of favourite deaths, Impulse's final death was pretty cool to me, betrayal deaths make me bite the bars of my cage, not looking at anyone in particular *ahem* BigB, Martyn's stupid yellow(?) death, Scar and BigB's final deaths were insane (Operation Bubblevator!!)

Fairy Fort was an insane alliance I never was that big on them when this season was active, but hooooollllly hell these guys. (Do me a favour. Die for me.)

the music disk, Etho freaking everyone out with it. the "Bogeyman", Southlands. Southlands just in general.

episode 6...........................

the final 8 survivors (-one. you know who they are they won it.) Pearl's boogey kill, her protecting Cleo, Joel's double kill, the final 2 battles. ough. this season had everything man. I hate the cold and winter but the wintery vibes of this season were immense and I loved it so much (no thanks to the Snow Fort...)

a lot of the final yellow kills were cool, in particular Etho and Cleo dying together, in the same order (twice in a row!!). Etho trying so hard to at least kill Ren before Pearl killed him is one of the most memorable moments for me.

and Mumbo screaming as Etho fishing rods him up into the air. and then the dogs.

and the lotion throw at the beginning of session 6.

and Lizzie's first death after failing to kill her husband. those are all extremely memorable moments :]

3L is next for almost no other reason than "nostalgia" purposes.

one thing I liked about this season was how innocent and pure everyone was.

idk about anyone else, but, except for its burning. s. I really enjoyed the Wool Castle. the swamp. and Etho trying to become Shrek or something. what was up with them

my favourite character from this season was undoubtedly Joel though. I LOVED his base, his dead bushes, Cleo dying to his roof, his roof constantly burning. with him. his army of dogs. first dog boy. Gerald. ine. I feel like he forgets his red skin at some point in this season and I really enjoyed the skin changes between colors.

also feel like him n Cleo tease Renchanting for being so loyal to Ren. (oh my go d they're actually calling him king!)

4th is Limited Life.

listen. I feel like I should like this season more than I did. I was sort of falling out of the Life Series at this point so I don't have much to say let alone remember.

but let me tell you.

5th is Double Life.

another season I feel like I should've enjoyed more. I loved Team Ranchers at first, but the way everyone sort of treated them was... whatever, and them people talking about Boat Boys made me live Boat Boys (I didn't feel much for them at first, but oh my gosh) but those two are my top two pairings (I can't pick between them rn)

I have no hate for this season

Scar and his allay buddy, being oblivious to who his soulmate is, Mickey Mouse. Scar was a pretty fun character, plus all his skins for this season were really cool!! insane over them still

all the pairings were really cool, I loved the Divorce Quarter, the Vultures. they were cool, I loved how they just refused their fate. (and how Martyn literally killed himself. and how Cleo was the only person to have died all three times while Martyn was partially responsible for all of them in some way.)

the pillar outside the Midcentury Modern Home or something. the fishing rod party. (Joel and Etho's demise-) one thing I feel like was overlooked with them was that Scott was like. wrong. about them. sure having the both of them pulled up so they take double damage was stupid. but it was Joel. who. died. and took all of their hearts. Etho didn't even hit the ground. in fact I think he barely even left it.

also one thing that makes me bite and tear at my cage is that Etho and Joel were the pairing to have died at the midpoint. 3 pairings died before them. 3 pairings died after them. and, despite Joel losing their earlier 2 lives, Etho being the first to die on their final life splits them into top half and bottom half, with Etho being 8th this season, and Joel being 7th.

also the Ranchers' Warden was-

Depression

The bright, scorching sun, rises once more, slowly crawls up the blue, emerges from the horizon, the dark ocean. It is warm, and brilliant, and it's rays dance across the window panes of the old, worn out wooden home on the rocks of the shore. It doesn't get much further than that though, as the curtains are drawn, and no one is there to part them, to pull them back.

There are two mugs in the sink, chamomile teabags still in them. What little light fades through the curtains reflects over them, yellow light dancing, and then, as the sun sets overhead and begins to go down, orange, red, pink, and then lastly blue. And the mugs remain entirely untouched. So does everything else in the kitchen. In the house. The bed is unmade. The plants haven't been watered. Everything except the armchair.

The man sits in his armchair, his head thrown back and his arms crossed on his lap. There is a leather cord on the nearby table. There is a ring in his hand. That he doesn't let go. Not as he stares into nothingness, not as he sits there for hours more. Not as his eyes flutter closed every few moments. And not when he finally gets up, though not without struggle.

He goes back to the bedroom, a path and action well rehearsed. He glances at the cracked mirror again, and his reflection looks cracked too. His eyes are bloodshot, and he quickly turns away and goes to bed. He goes to bed, not bothering to adjust the crumpled sheets, nor to fix his pillow. And he still doesn't let go of the ring clutched in his hand.

My thoughts aren’t really as coherant as the last few times but!!

I like the juxtaposition in the beginning. We can tell this is a low point for Lukas, yet the sun is rising. It’s meant to be hopeful, but given the context, it’s just painful. Another reminder of the time that’s passed without Elias.

I like how passive Peter is as well. Barely mentioned and only doing a few things compared to the past chapters, really gives off that “what’s the point?” Vibe.

Things like the dishes in the sink and the unmade bed. It’s not quite the cracked mugs and mirrors and tv but it is still a sign of Peter’s mental state and how it’s completely declined to the point where he no longer cares for himself at all.

The tea bags are the same as that of the last chapter, implying he hasn’t made himself a cup since then. He’s given up comforts because they feel so small and worthless. And it’s so indicative of how he’s feeling! Ough-

Okay, also going back to the beginning with the sun. An old, weathered home, clearly indicative of some sense of familiarity, which makes sense, it’s Peter’s house, yet this fic does a really good job at making both us and him feel alienated in it because of Elias’s absence. Because of the absence of everyone other than Peter.

Peter drew the curtains, probably to get his mind off the time, which as mentioned earlier, is quite taunting to him.

So, the “well rehearsed” part can be indicative of how long standing their relationship was. It also puts the fact that it’s in a complete state of disarray into a new light. It’s indicative of Peter’s relation to Elias as well.

And even then, he’s still clinging to the ring. And of course he is. He doesn’t have anyone in the bed with him when he should!

And the mirror. It was once indicative of his rage and his agency, now it’s just a reminder of how broken he is. Of how disheveled and disgraced he is. Of what he’s lost.

stella!! that story was so lovely omg. when they crashed i thought it was saki's injury as a child- but they didn't get hospitalized so i'm not quite sure what happened? but it was beautiful. that last chorus part facing the stars. ough

stage of sekai features Kagamine Len!! most sekai songs feature one of six vocaloids (with a few exceptions). Miku is the most well-known, and she sings a lot with leo/need! there's also the Kagamine twins, Len (boy) and Rin (girl). They're the yellow ones who usually are seen as high-energy and youthful. Luka is the long haired pink one I draw a lot. She's generally calmer and more mature. Then there's Meiko, who has short brown hair and a powerful voice, and Kaito, the older boy with blue hair and a "cool" sounding voice!

Vocaloid is cool because it allows creators to fit their own personality onto each character in whatever way they seem fit. They're technically instruments, after all. That's why each group in Sekai has their own iterations of these vocaloids with their own unique personalities. For example, Wonderlands x Showtime's Kaito is very older-brother and reliable, but Vivid Bad Squad's Kaito is very carefree and childish, yet Leo/needs is shy yet talented, More More Jumps is loving and hard-working, but Nightcord at 25:00s is full of rage. (i used kaito as an example bc his personality switches are the most extreme). I love the way the executed this.

well damn i wasn't planning on another ao3-style comment but nooooo, you had to go make another beautiful gifset (lmao i love both you and your gifset so much!!) literally saved this until i can fully appreciate it, i feel like a little kid wanting to open a present slowly to keep the suspense longer, like i'm trying not to look at the gifs first (impossible) because i want to give you my FRESH response. i adore colour palettes (to no one's surprise)!! so excited for the ep2 gifs!!

gif 1: NIKO MY BELOVEDDDD. i love love love the green-pink contrast, i feel like that is just very niko!! we see her in other colours, sure, but in my mind they're her main two. obviously the pink is the sprites (and the lesbianism of course lmao) but the colour palette just really draws attention to it which is soooo pretty. and the yellow and greens!! the way her school clothes actually look green makes the whole thing SO cohesive and satisfying. also also the different shades of pink, like if i didn't look closely i would've thought it was one shade of pink except the colour palette made me look! *heart eyes motherfucker*

gif 2: ohhhhhhh my god turquoise+gold my beloved!!!!! sooooo in love with this palette it's not even funny. everything is so turquoise and kinda monotone with the funky lighting, and then you just have a few gold lights to give the whole thing life ough. (also a fun callback to the ep1 cat leash, aka the conflict they're headed towards??)

gif 3: HI LESBIAN NIKO HI! i love how the animations reflect in her eyes omg, i wonder how they did that? the purple that's the reflection of the light on her hair :o i never noticed it!!! and the other non-pink colours, the sort of pastel-y light green and yellow is so perfect for this scene WOW, actually all of the animations seem to be all pastel-y! and the green coming from the background (window?) is SO COOL

gif 4: hhhhhhhh SUCH a fun base shot but not one that i think is usually giffed? at least i haven't seen it around. it's really lovely to get those scenes like little treasures! and the greens!!! god i love a good green and these are the BEST. the monotone? *chef's kiss* (also i think i said something about it in the ep1 reaction and i know there's an aesthetic reason for it BUT it really does make the boys feel more ghostly since the only colour on them that's represented is the greenness of the forest reflecting on them. it looks amazing, basically)

gif 5: oooooh neutrals + gold? did not expect it, but i LOVE. also very fitting for the bathroom as this sort of very mundane place. nothing supernatural's going on in here, no sirree. also also very fun camera angle! something something about the light itself being white, but the light it casts being this warm gold? also the reflection of the light in the water, never noticed that!! i know the water is for crystal to splash her face with, but it just gives off scrying vibes and i am such a big fan. they should let the gang explore more supernatural methods in s2! but i digress. (oh and crystal being much more present, the dark colour picking up in her hair as well as the tiles, and the beige and white in her rings, just like the taps! crystal is so alive)

gif 6: another green with some red this time!! lmao it's like an optical illusion, my brain refused to see the reds until i actually stopped and looked for it. so nice and autumn-y <3 again the accent colour being the most prominent example of that colour is SUCH a vibe. also. they are so teeny-tiny omg who let them out to solve cases T-T

gif 7: PIIIIIIIIIIIINK (god i love a good monotone) plus the (weird) perception we have of pink as this innocent colour vs this horror that niko's going through?? the good sauce man! also i love how the pink shifts until the middle colour basically fades against the background, that's really fun

gif 8: sprites sprites sprites! lmao i love them, they're terrible but at least they're funny about it <3 the colours?? obviously the greens, the gold in the coins and litty's dress, the white in their hats and clothing (and litty's highlights, damn girl), but that blue?? iconic. i probably wouldn't have seen it if not for the colour palette omgggg

overall: i didn't expect you to be able to surpass the ep1 colour palettes but i should never have doubted, oh my godddd olly!!!! just. WOW. loved all the nikos! loved the bright colours! loved the monotones! loved the greens! loved the pinks! loved the golds! Dead Boy Detectives (2024) 1.02 — The Case of the Dandelion Shrine (insp)

I woke up clonked the tf out after Paramore, so here's the general ~vibes~ of the Paramore concert in SF, written still in my concert makeup (which i know is really bad, but hey, the copper glitter held up well):

Security: not much line at 7:20pm. I went alone, so I asked a kind couple to take a photo for me in front of the big yellow Paramore screens.

People watching: There was a lot of different people at the concert: Couples going on dates, people with families, people in orange Hayley wigs, etc. There was a lot of really cool alt/emo people in black eyeliner and boots and ngl it was a little intimidating bc there was so many gorgeous women in the vicinity that my brain glitched out for a second. I didn't have the courage to go up to random people to give bracelets to, but I did end up giving all of the bracelets I made to people near me in lines!

Merch: I stood in line for merch about 20-30 mintues? The lines wasn't too bad and I got the xray shirt I wanted in my size.

Paramore started at 8:30: It was a rescheduled show, so only 1 opening act, so the band started at 8:30, and hearing You First as opener was amazing. I had a seat in the 100s near the stage setup, so it was a cool view. The geometric lighting structures (?) moved and there's was a LOT of cool lighting.

Hayley sounded amazing, and she was so fucking dynamic on stage!!! She said she was still sick :( but still, she put on an amazing performance. (Hayley Williams I love you)

We put on the flashlight for Last Hope, and before Big Man, Little Dignity, Hayley had a speech about holding people in power accountable, and to go Vote!!! Super important, and it was fun to hold up our pinkies in the air with her.

Liar, Crystal Clear had Hayley and Zac on a tall platform behind the main stage, and it was cool to see the different stage set ups. the lights were dimmed, it was a really intimate and emotional moment with those songs.

After Hard Times, Hayley spoke about Paramore being a band and people (aka those who write shitty concert review articles) not understanding that in the twenty years of their career. She introduced the band, and the cheers for Zac and Taylor especially was loud! It was so funny since they jokingly played off as being shy but would gesture to keep going :D (The trio being best friends since 7th grade... ough best friends who are best friends who are in a band together)

Before Figue 8, there was a medical emergency in the pit. It was more serious than pausing and having people shuffle over, so the band left the stage for a moment, let the medics handle it. Glad people were able to get help right away.

Hayley teased us asking if we wanted a banger or a emo song, and it was Figure 8 and The Only Exception. Figure 8 was fantastic. The Only Exception was like. a spiritual experience tbh. My voice doesn't allow actual screaming but I sang along and it was just amazing. The light was dimmed, there was smoke on the stage making everything look so mgical and beautiful.

Baby was so fun, lots of people were singing along and the shouting Baby! back and forth was so fun.

Before Misery Business, Hayley was like "how many elder emos are here" which lol. Misery Business is of course, iconic, and the crowd was SO loud singing along. And then, boom, Steph Curry on stage?!?!? It was so funny and so great!

Ain't It Fun was also another great concert moment. You can't /not/ sing along with Aint It Fun.

Still Into You!!!!!!! I'm being very cliche, but Still Into You was one of the songs I was most looking foward to at the show. It's a big hit, they've played it a million times, la da, but it was my first Paramore show and Still Into You was /the/ first Paramore song I've ever listened to. I loved singing along!!!!

The last song was This Is Why! and was such a high to end the show.

The show ended at 10:35 and I had to rush out to catch the bus + train + bus. Talked to some people at the train platform and after I said I also went to the FOB show a couple weeks ago, they asked me how old I was (they were 9 years older) and were like "omg we were worried the emos were gonna die out after us, you're a baby!" which was funny. They were really nice!

Had an amazing time, would 100% go again╰(*°▽°*)╯

also ppl migth atcually not see dark frfr cuz we didnt even see vic and dark make eye contact and the mercenaries only chase after chosen and theres NOT WNATED POSER OF DARK and we KNOW rocketcorp cna use color on their poster (like when they printed yellow), i know alot of us see dark and vic to be very similar to each other, villain, evil, cut from the same cloth as chosen and sec, they have to be the least connected to each other and yet we see them more similar, same thoughts, same ideal, same goal, except unlinke victim, dark isnt griefing the loss of someone shes protecting the only someone she has in her whole entire life...so like...die griefing or live toodestroy the msot important person in your life in an attempt to protect them but cant you see? within that different you start to see the similarity again! i did this for you i did this for us! cant you see? the destruction, what he did, well ill never make it happen ever again, why wont you look at me, dont leave me...and you see is differences again, mitsi died and left victim, confused and alone, they couldnt save her, chosen left dark to die, cold and alone, chosen didnt go find her (and you see the similarity again)

OKAY. OKAY. finished totk. more thoughts. Everything is under a cut because 1) spoilers for the end of the game and 2) it got LONG many thoughts head full

I got all the shrines before going to fight ganondorf, and I'm sad to say they did the botw thing and made it so you can only fully upgrade either stamina OR hearts, not both. Finding the shrines was actually made much easier with the lightroots in the depths! I went around and filled out the full map underground and that let me know which shrines I had missed on the surface, and then for the sky islands I used the hero's path to see which ones I hadn't visited yet and then sifted through those until I found them all

Speaking of, THE REWARD FOR GETTING ALL THE SHRINES?? HELLO?? I can't wait to see what people say about that bit of lore cause idk WHAT is going on there. furry link real

going into the depths of the castle to find ganondorf was so nerve wracking lmao, the music did an excellent job of putting me on edge. and the little note about how the sages' powers can't reach you?? excellent, very ominous

Going back to the very beginning of the game, the corridor where you walk with zelda, but this time without her and with it covered in gloom... ough. My experience with the beginning of the game there was basically me just happy screaming about getting to walk around and talk to zelda, and that juxtaposed with the ending, where I'm getting ready to fight the demon king with ramping anxiety, OUGH very cool

my BROS came to HELP i love them. also I keep forgetting that mineru is a sage even though I use her for piggyback rides all the time

REHYDRATED GANONDORF REAL. like I know we saw him in the trailers and memories and stuff but I wasn't sure if we'd get to fight him at full strength you know? I thought they might pull a fast one on us and make the final fight against pee-paw ganon, which would have been kinda lame tbh

Ganondorf does perfect dodges too!! He gets the slow-mo!! thankfully he cannot flurry rush lol. I spent the entire first phase against him with both of use just circling each other and trading occasional blows, felt very cool

the transformation into the demon king was super cool but my favorite part might have been how the health bar just. kept going. nearly off the screen. that was equal parts awesome and hilarious

I saved a bunch of super strong weapons to fight him and what do I end up doing?? Only using the master sword. my WIFE made that sword for me I am damn well gonna use it to kill him. it just never occurred to me to try to use anything else lol. Except arrows with gibdo bones fused on, cause those things do CRAZY damage

MY MAN ATE HIS STONE. OKAY. OKAY. also I LOVE how much he looked like the calamity during his transformation, with the glow-y yellow eyes and misty body. I wonder if he has any memory of being calamity ganon? Maybe the calamity was just excess rage and malice instead of something with more intent. It was obviously intelligent, but how intelligent?

DRAGON FIGHT DRAGON FIGHT DRAGON FIGHT

MY WIFE CAME TO SAVE ME!! I LOVE HER!!! That whole part of the fight was super cinematic and fun, I got legitimately emotional when she dove in to the rescue. All that time I spent sitting on her head and flying around hyrule, who knew I was actually training for the final fight

ZELDAAAA I'm so glad I could undragon you girl I missed youuuu I missed you <3 rauru and sonia are vibing in the afterlife now, which now makes the fact that rauru passed on asap after helping link make sense, he was probably missing his wife :(

pretty wack that they gave link his normal arm back :/ I guess you could argue it got ungoopified by the shrines + the thing with Sonia and Rauru purifying dragon-zelda but it feels weird to me

I guess a counter point to that, without it we wouldn't get to parallel to the beginning with the reaching out to catch zelda. speaking of. REACHING OUT TO CATCH HER. AUGH IM NOT OK. IM NOT OK!!! literally so emotional. I thought reaching her was gonna be a cutscene but nope!! You have to dive to get to her!! makes me wonder what happens if you don't catch her.......but I would never dare experiment. that's my girl.

i am. so glad. she doesn't remember being a dragon for a billion years. hoooo that would be traumatic. I mean ya girl has trauma in spades but at least she doesn't have to deal with the memory of that part. and she was so happy that she got to see hyrule's founding!! She had her own whole adventure :) and at least a good portion of it was pleasant and filled with new friends!! good for her, good for her

post credits scene was pretty neat!! Felt nice to give mineru a little send off, not for me but for zelda. according to the stone monument things, they were pretty close and they hung out in mineru's lab a lot, so it's nice she got to have a proper goodbye to at least one of her friends from the past. And then everyone pledging to work with her to protect hyrule at the end :')

All in all I have had a STUPENDOUS time with this game, it was a fantastic sequel to a fantastic game. I'm probably gonna still play and find the rest of the sage's wills and play with the building mechanic some more, but I'll leave that for a bit later once I've had a chance to really absorb the ending!! I've got an idea for a totk PMV that I'm working on, so that might make an appearance on this blog once it's done 👀 I'm sure I'll have more thoughts later, but I think this will be my last post in this sort of style with the bullet points and such

also goodness gracious nintendo do NOT make another direct sequel these kids have gone through SO much. let zelda and link go take a nap they've earned it

Rory is one of the zodiacs who had the paint removed from her generator. However, she did this for the reverse reason. Her generator is a high level model, an F7I. White/Yellow, energy absorption is higher and more unstable, and it’s part of the rarest hyper edition.

Rory is a big fan of not letting anyone know anything about herself though 🤩 So. She peeled the paint off herself and hardly ever wears it! She uses different excuses each time. “I don’t really need it, it hurts my leg.” Is the only one that’s valid, but it’s definitely not the first reason why she stopped wearing it.

Other exceptions!

Maia should have a white or blue generator, but had hers recolored to purple bc she likes purple :] There will be a lot of non traditional colors.

Vega has a main sequence model that is white. It has not been repainted, it’s just a powerful main sequence generator (A0V) that was painted ivory to show it.

This is probably how she was able to normalize avant etheric charge, her generator is highly effective at bringing energy to her (a condensed point) and she condenses it even further for a big explosion afterwards ough ough……

THAT OR EVEN SICKER. SHE ABSORBS STELLAR ENERGY HERSELF AND HAS THE GENERATOR EXPEL IT (hers is modified to do so)

Chapter 4 is out, and now I can finally talk about Jewels and ether generators 🥹 The zodiac wings,, ofc more about them like types, purpose, and zodiac lore in the chapter + author’s note.

I had Hana refer to hers, Jewels, with she/her pronouns despite the generator not being like... fully conscious. And ever since I've been doing it too! Jewels beloved…. She grew on me….She was always a part of the story, but I wanted to highlight her more and give her a bit of personality.

Hana named her after Saturn, the Jewel of solar system and her favorite planet. The “S” came just because saying “Jewels” is smoother than “Jewel”. Hana likes to act cool, but she loves naming things with intention. Saturn is seen as a symbol of structure, responsibility, and working toward her goals. For her, Jewels is the same. A great friend that may be hard for her to use, but will ultimately help her succeed.
