#video #elevenlabs #i've been fucking obsessed with these stupid fucking elevenlabs dubbed videos #specifically a friend sent me a ytp sexer dub and i absolutely lost it (laughing)#so i wanted to try a few videos out myself to see what the site would do with them #for some reason my first thought was to use bozo dubbed over #''i... i...... i.... ah..... i hope nobody leaves'' fucking killed me #i only did like 5 videos to see what it'd end up generating but usually if the audios too clear it'll just repeat what was said #except in the ai voices that it uses #the second video i did was just bozo dubbed over again. but that version is like really evil for no reason #third video was hotel mario high quality. and it basically says what they already say but with weird annunciations and the likes #fourth video being meet the sniper. it wasnt exactly what i wanted but it did alter a few lines #the final one just being hotel mario again but lower quality. which did result in me laughing really hard #granted. all of them made me laugh really hard to some extent #for the record. i didnt do any alterations except just make it dub from english to english #i don't know if there's more you can do with it. i don't think i can make any more without making a new account #unless the limit resets every week or so

was kinda thinking about this when I saw Renee Rapp live recently-- I didn't know her visual vibe, I'd heard a few songs here and there but I hadn't really *seen* her, and her attire at Osheaga was really casual, a jersey (baseball/basketball?) and slacks. And that was so amazing! I couldn't help thinking, the work Billie Eilish has done for how women in pop music are allowed to dress is incredible. Seeing her up there all comfortable you just know that Billie walked in her oversized tops so that Renee in her slacks could run; Billie walked through all the critcisms about how she dressed slobbily and having to assert that she didn't owe anyone a display of skin, so that Renee could be comfortable and unquestioned running up and down the catwalk in front of 10,000 people. How iconic.

And I don't think we even realised at the time how much something as simple as letting Billie dress the way she as a (then-) 17-year-old teenager dressed, could end up meaning for a future generation of women in music.

Obviously there is still way to go, there were weirdos complaining about how 'plain' Dua Lipa's Glastonbury outfit was this year (in 2024!!), l have to ask, are you at Paris Fashion Week?? She is the musical HEADLINER of an entire day of music at one of the biggest music festivals in the world, and you can't grant her the space to exist as an artist, you have to moan about her dress not being excitingly revealing enough. There's work to do, it's still dismal out there. But the space Billie Eilish has created for a most ordinarily-dressed woman popstar is still heartening.

Casket of Souls review: Stressful.

I think it’s really funny though that they make Thero save Illia and then he passes out, but we don't find out about how they handle the remaining dozens of bottles. Like, I'm assuming Thero and Valerius team up to figure out which souls go with which sleeping patients, and Thero casts his magic circles to save as many as possible, or instructs other wizards on how to help, and we simply don't see it. But also, what if actually there was a time crunch and all those people died because Thero used up his energy to immediately save Illia?

#this book giving me the thesis that if a previously unmentioned child character suddenly gets a pov chapter in a lynn flewelling book.#they’re fucked #between the kids in this book and the plague kid in the Tamír Triad. sucks to be a destitute child about to be afflicted by magical ailments #Anyway this story did stress me out enough that I wanted to go find a summary of it to read. but the wiki doesn't have one #and neither does wikipedia. even though it does for the first 5 #my kindle did also suddenly decide to claim I'd also read it before. but while I'm willing to believe i read white road before but forgot #(due to it being effectively the second half of shadows return. so even though i had no memories of it.#i can't imagine i didn't want to follow up on what happened w sebrahn so I probably just read it at 3am and retained no memories)#i think the occasional moment of familiarity i felt towards this book was due to the amount of fantasy I've read in my life #and i will distrust my technology #all of this is very off topic except that i wanted to explain why i found this book so stressful which was: didn't know who would die or not #nightrunner series #cc #my thesis btw is that probably for the bottles w the final symbol inscribed #if you fed the liquid to the patient the soul belonged to they'd probably be fine right??#bc we know they can take in liquid and also like. uh. pretty direct way to get soul back. but I'm no drysian.

#cops tw #bro I cannot handle one more thing happening istg #got pulled over on my way home after a 13 hour day #was already scared to drive at night and that just confirmed that I’m right to be scared #it was for running a red light n it was one of those situations of just not having time to stop on yellow #I was fully aware as it was happening that I was either going to slam on my brakes in the intersection or run a red and I could see the cop #so I knew I was getting pulled over either way I just hoped the yellow would be longer than .5 seconds. not so lucky #except I also Am so lucky bc he let me off with a warning #ig bc I don’t have any sort of serious history + with it being 420 once he saw I was sober he prob went easier #it’s the second time I’ve been pulled over in my life tho and it’s scary bc this is the first time since the accident #which maybe that was also ok bc it wasn’t my fault #I just know every warning or unlucky moment costs u more in the future if u happen to get unlucky again #like I know I got out of that bc I’m white. it was still a scary moment bc there were multiple cop cars #so it’s like is this guy abt to ruin my life am I gonna lose my license for being at the wrong place wrong time #when I’m already salty to be driving this late involuntarily #so it’s like I got unlucky And very very lucky #I just hate the confirmation that u can get pulled over at any given moment #I constantly rehearse every possible convo w cops in my head bc if u come off disabled u can die #or get arrested or whatever #and then they like don’t follow the script and u didn’t expect this to happen to u today anyway and I get flustered #anyway my point is. #snap chats #we all know if i knew how to mod id make so many stupid masadai screenshots but not the point #ive been obsessed with solo runs for rpgs for a while so NATURALLY i wanna ask the question if each y7 chara can solo the game #i was thinkin of saeko specifically cause. 1.) love u 2.) in my first playthrough i primarily used her for support #though subsequent playthroughs obvi i switched her up to be way more offensive #the only chara you really can do this with is ichi and MAYBE adachi since. well ichi's obvious but adachi's the earliest accessible #'what about nanba' girl he LEAVES FOR THREE CHAPTERS #and ofc you only get saeko come chapter 5 - same thing for eri. not gonna even MENTION joon gi and zhao LMAO #so obvi i dream of a mod where you can swap ichi- at least for battles- for any of the other party members #if youve seen rpg runs that ft multiple members at a time then yk the plan is to just have everyone else block and do nothing #or get them ko'd as fast as possible. but obvi in this Mod Reality i would just have The One character to make it. awful LMAO #i mean me and other rpg enjoyers think y7's easy enough so why not the extra challenge #adachi gets the Can Also Do This Run pass since he's playable just about as long as ichi is #exceptions being of course the first chapter / beginning of second chapter and the first sawashiro fight / chapter 3 #i already know people are thinking of the jima fight.... throwing up at that thought #honestly i think JUST them might make the challenge impossible #at least with ichi you have the poundmates but the others Id Consider to be out of luck #itd be fun imo to see how far each chara could get tho #beyond grinding i think youd HAVE to master perfect guarding not just for the jimas but ESPECIALLY for tendo #kiryu doesnt exist to me. apparently. idk he was a wash on my first playthrought but joon gi WAS the unintentional punching bag so--#anyway im almost done with this comm i just gtta shade it so bye
