Finally finishing totk

#Totk #Art #Comic #Link #This one gets main blog privileges lololol #Context: I had beat 1 dungeon and promised my buddy not to progress without them. I was just filling out the map and these guys appeared #Totk spoilers in the tags #Okay so here's my totk story because it hurts everyone I tell including myself #First time I played totk I got really fed up with the tutorial. It would just never end.#I got so fed up with it in fact... I never did the story. At all!#My buddy wanted to watch me do the story but we kept missing each other #So I ended up avoiding anything even tangentially related to plot #I never met any characters. Never even knew there were bosses and dungeons. Never entered the castle #And one time my buddy told me there was the awesome boss in the depths I could fight-- a king dragon. Woaaahhh #I made my way over there and was so ready for this epic battle and ended up killing it in 5 seconds. I was too powerful 😂#Keep in mind I did NO DUNGEONS and had grinded up the dynamic difficulty entirely through common enemies to the point of silver lynels #So yeah I stopped playing because I realized I was way too overpowered to start the story #So I started all over again. Finally doing totk the Intended Way™#Uhh... Doing one single dungeon raised the difficulty to the point of black hoglins appearing?? What???#I'm basically rushing every dungeon (I just finished the second one) without preparing at all or doing any shrines #(I killed colgera while dying from cold damage at 4 hearts because I ran out of cold res LMFAO)#So this is really testing my Zelda skillz. It's very fun.#Also. During the first dungeon. I was so obsessed with the kid I almost looked up how I could keep him as my companion #My buddy was so excited for me to find out what the reward was for beating the dungeon 😂😂😂#What else funny... Oh yeah my old save was so jank I never actually got any more than 5 hearts.#Yes I had to defeat lynels mostly hitless since they can kill you despite the mercy quarter heart #I also went to do the first dungeon on the first save and accidentally entered the ship without the child. It TRAPS YOU INSIDE.#It doesn't even give you a warp it just says “die or warp out”. Except I didn't get the shrine halfway up. So I decided to hoverbike out ��#Oh yeah and it turns out you can ABSOLUTELY get the master sword so so easily.#She flies right past the water dungeon and phases out of existence near immediately it's very funny.

#video #elevenlabs #i've been fucking obsessed with these stupid fucking elevenlabs dubbed videos #specifically a friend sent me a ytp sexer dub and i absolutely lost it (laughing)#so i wanted to try a few videos out myself to see what the site would do with them #for some reason my first thought was to use bozo dubbed over #''i... i...... i.... ah..... i hope nobody leaves'' fucking killed me #i only did like 5 videos to see what it'd end up generating but usually if the audios too clear it'll just repeat what was said #except in the ai voices that it uses #the second video i did was just bozo dubbed over again. but that version is like really evil for no reason #third video was hotel mario high quality. and it basically says what they already say but with weird annunciations and the likes #fourth video being meet the sniper. it wasnt exactly what i wanted but it did alter a few lines #the final one just being hotel mario again but lower quality. which did result in me laughing really hard #granted. all of them made me laugh really hard to some extent #for the record. i didnt do any alterations except just make it dub from english to english #i don't know if there's more you can do with it. i don't think i can make any more without making a new account #unless the limit resets every week or so

was kinda thinking about this when I saw Renee Rapp live recently-- I didn't know her visual vibe, I'd heard a few songs here and there but I hadn't really *seen* her, and her attire at Osheaga was really casual, a jersey (baseball/basketball?) and slacks. And that was so amazing! I couldn't help thinking, the work Billie Eilish has done for how women in pop music are allowed to dress is incredible. Seeing her up there all comfortable you just know that Billie walked in her oversized tops so that Renee in her slacks could run; Billie walked through all the critcisms about how she dressed slobbily and having to assert that she didn't owe anyone a display of skin, so that Renee could be comfortable and unquestioned running up and down the catwalk in front of 10,000 people. How iconic.

And I don't think we even realised at the time how much something as simple as letting Billie dress the way she as a (then-) 17-year-old teenager dressed, could end up meaning for a future generation of women in music.

Obviously there is still way to go, there were weirdos complaining about how 'plain' Dua Lipa's Glastonbury outfit was this year (in 2024!!), l have to ask, are you at Paris Fashion Week?? She is the musical HEADLINER of an entire day of music at one of the biggest music festivals in the world, and you can't grant her the space to exist as an artist, you have to moan about her dress not being excitingly revealing enough. There's work to do, it's still dismal out there. But the space Billie Eilish has created for a most ordinarily-dressed woman popstar is still heartening.

I think sometimes about how not even women in rock music are afforded that.#Like this is a thing across genres #With the exception of Franz Ferdinand for whom Alex has actually said in interviews that they treated FF gigs as nights out #and so dressed like they'd be dressed for a club night out--#most other guy bands are like *picked a tee off the floor*#whereas the girls in bands I've seen-- even literally just local musicians-- the girls in our local rock bands feel compelled to #dress like it's graduation day #Like we had this really cool local band-- singer's a girl in second year of uni #keeping up with the fact that they were playing like RHCP and Muse covers on stage; fast stuff--#she was up there in a delicate dress and heels and stomping across stage n all #and the rest of her band; dudes; were quite comfortable in their t-shirts #like of course she made a choice herself and was more than capable of stomping in heels--I mean I've seen Phoebe from Lambrini Girls #JUMP OFF a 5-ft platform stage while wearing 3-inch block heels. And in a party dress!#But then again Lambrini Girls genuinely are freaks of nature and I envy anyone who's going to see them open for Amyl & the Sniffers rn #bc that's an EXPLOSIVE combo. I was saying.#Part of it certainly comes from a normalisation of just superhuman strength; balance + praying there's no malfunction with your skirt #which DOES happen at rock shows more frequently than you'd imagine. I made this for a project in my film class because I simply couldn’t think about anything other than UnOrdinary. It was going to be about twice this length but I ran out of time before my deadline.

the lady running the tavern, glad for the money, but extremely concerned for this blue-haired rebel-leader and his army who he keeps having sit down to eat the exact same meal for like, several in-game days straight

#I finally found a tavern with a cheap +100 rapport 5-guest meal and I had some spare money so uh #I now have every character to their first rapport convo with every other character they can have rapport convos with #(except I think I'm missing a few with Alain but he's got so many convos that I'm gonna...ignore him for a moment)#now I just have to watch them all...and then figure out the best way to obtain the second- and third-tier convos #cheaply if possible #I finished Albion so now it's just the last few main quests before I finally cross that final map fixed bridge #and as many of the weird side quests as I can finish as well #but I'm invested in learning more about the characters bc the rapport convos are really good #even Melisandre who I was kinda meh on at first I've warmed up to bc she had some really nice RCs #bummed Bertrand and Fodoquia don't have a convo I wanna see these two dads mourning their dead sons connect...#they could have been friends #oracle of lore
