My name is Abdelmajed Elderawi, and I am writing to you from Gaza, where life has become an unimaginable struggle. Our days are filled with uncertainty, and the hope for a better future feels like a distant dream.

The war has left deep scars on my family and me. We’ve endured the heartbreaking loss of 25 loved ones—each one a light extinguished too soon. Their absence is a pain I carry every day, and I often find myself lost in memories of the laughter and joy they brought into our lives.

Life in Gaza Today: 💔 Overwhelming Loss: The pain of losing so many family members is impossible to describe. 🍽️ Barely Getting By: Even basic necessities like food and water are becoming harder to afford. 🏠 No Safe Shelter: Our homes, once our refuge, now feel fragile and unsafe. 📚 Dreams on Hold: The pursuit of education and opportunities has been replaced by the constant fight for survival.

I'm Raneen, a mother of three children: Mohammed, Rami, and Julia, currently living in Gaza. My husband, Mahmoud, traveled to Egypt for work three days before the war broke out, leaving us alone. I have struggled greatly with the kids; we’ve had to flee from the north to the center, then to Rafah, and back again.🇵🇸

We are living in extremely difficult conditions. My daughter Julia suffers from severe chest allergies,💔 and her condition has worsened due to the war’s aftermath. I can’t provide their basic needs because of the scarcity of resources and rising prices.💔🍉

Please, help me care for my children. There is no safe place in Gaza; everywhere is at risk at any moment. I am trying to get to Egypt to join my husband, but it requires a significant amount of money. I have lost our home and all our sources of income.

Help Shorouq and her family survive cancer in Gaza

I believe fundamentally in the power of the collective. Together, we can move mountains, which is why I am sharing my wife Shorouk's testimony today.

The Egyptian border is currently completely closed, and no one can leave Gaza. The goal now is for Shorouk and her family to be able to receive cancer treatment, food, drink water, and afford transportation to a safer place inside Gaza. Thank you very much

My name is Shorouq Abu Odeh, I am 30 years old from Gaza. I have been suffering from cancer since 2016. Despite undergoing multiple surgeries to remove the cancerous tumors, a serious medical error occurred, leaving me dependent on medication for the rest of my life. These treatment reports

The daily struggle to access these crucial medications has become increasingly difficult in Gaza. With hospitals scarce, aid limited, and borders closed, the situation has become dire. The impact has not only affected my health, but has left me and my family homeless. Our once vibrant homes are now in ruins, forcing us to seek shelter in makeshift tents for the past 14 months.

Living in these harsh conditions has taken a toll on my already fragile health. Every day is a battle, but I refuse to give in to despair. However, I cannot do this alone. I am reaching out to you, my dear friends, for help.

Your generous donations will not only give us a chance at a better life, but will also give me the opportunity to receive the care I so desperately need. Together, we can break free from the grip of cancer and rebuild our lives.
