I’m a little bit nervous to post these but I’m already here.

You guys don’t mind a bit of angst right? Specifically Anton angst since I haven’t drawn the guy in a while.

Although MASSIVE trigger (I’m not kidding) warning for scarring: scratches, cuts, bruises(?)…and bites (they’re not that noticeable but they’re there. I suggest if you’re not comfortable don’t look under.)

He hates showing how vulnerable he is sometimes, and that especially goes for his back. He’s never shown anyone (except Annie). And frankly he’s pretty nervous to.

Anton still has some bad memories about it.

Annie will try her best to comfort him, the thing she’ll do most is kiss his back (the first time she did it he started crying. He felt genuinely loved for once). She still does it when he’s not feeling good, she also holds and hugs him too.

3. Mary🇺🇸: She likes to wear Russell's glasses or tank tops. She feels comfortable in it! She also owns one of Vietnam's dogtags 😁 Adler keeps one of Mary's dogtags with him to remind him that she is with him, especially after the accident she had.

Anja🇷🇺: Obviously! She likes to wear Anton's shirts and some of his sweaters. They keep her warm. When he is not wearing the wedding ring, he has it around his neck or Anja has it. Sometimes he wears one of Anja's scarves, the ones that keep him warm

4. Mary🇺🇸: Mary wanted it to continue her family. But that wasn't in Adler's priorities. Her first pregnancy was an accident in 1974.

Anja🇷🇺: She always wanted to have children with Anton. He was the love of his life. But she had a son with another man before finding him. Anton, on the other hand, wanted a girl in particular because boys reminded him of his youth

About the Anton age thing-

I think I remember Tony mentioning a few things about his age:

- in his 30s and not 40s

- 5-6 years older than Annie (who’s in her twenties)

I personally ball park him around 33-35 but also who care, he is playdough do whatever you want forever <3

Hrmm.... pops this ask in my mouth and rolls it around like a fine wine or perhaps a glass marble. Much to consider....

He definitely has early/mid 30s swag personality wise but funnily enough my own interpretation of that was that he's got that "guy who's almost 40 but still acts like he's in his mid 20s" thing going on akshfkhf. I always saw him as being in his mid 30s during antօn.bαll deluxe and antօn.blαst taking place several years later (<- based on literally nothing at all except my beautiful mind and the real world passage of time). This is where my own headcanons come from lmao.

Honestly I will probably continue to treat him like my little playdough man akhfkhsf but I do appreciate the Insider Knowledge. We are playing toys together, you and I ♡

Played Antonblast yesterday, got to the second boss, here's my first impressions

I love the animation and art style a lot! Very expressive. Gameplay and controls feel nice and smooth. I like the voice acting, it fits the characters well. The only thing that can get annoying is when Anton/Annie keep saying "Oh boy" or "Not good" when bumping into things or even when picking up big chips. But I'm sure there's an option somewhere to change this. Probably. I haven't checked yet lol

Music is pretty nice, i especially like It's Happy Hour and Boiler City. And one i can't remember the stage name of but it's that explosion cave.. casino? Thing? Anyway, it's cool. I also like that the bosses can't JUST be beaten by brute force, you need to figure out their patterns first. And it's cool that you aren't kicked out of the fight if you run out of health, the fight just starts over.

Level design is nice, but a few sections can be a bit frustrating *cough* Cinnamon Springs *cough*. But maybe that's just me, I'm not really good at this game. Haven't found any secrets yet except for one cassette tape, but maybe that's cause I'm still too used to pizza tower and trying to go fast. The escape sequences can get a bit frustrating, especially when you're not very good at the game yet. I don't know how many times I've had to retry it in the explosion casino level (still can't remember the name and I'm too lazy to look it up lol), but it was a LOT.

Not sure what that pig room in the lobby is supposed to be. Maybe the characters in it are playtesters or patreon backers? Not sure.

I like how you change between Anton and Annie by going to the bathroom. Idk why but i think it's kinda funny.

And the best feature of all. The scream button. Idk what its purpose is yet, except for screaming of course, or if there even is another purpose for it, but i love it. 10/10 would scream again.

MEET MARGARITA G. GARNISH!! (ACTIVE)

Meet Margarita Garnish!! A 47 year old angel (seriously) who is a helping hand in Peppinos pizzeria and ex worker of pizzahead!

Hes often seen cleaning the place or helping take people orders for his boss peppino spaghetti!! Hes very...silly- hes very upbeat and excited to do new things or learn new things! Hes very friendly to new people and often sorta seen as a push over because of his kindness

He used to work for pizzahead but kindaaaa..quit since he didn't like pizzahead at all and work was messing with his head. He lived on the streets for a little bit before finding a flyer for peppinos pizzeria and quickly went over to try to get a job since he didn't want to be out on the streets! Margarita got the job and sorta sleeps in the restaurant since he doesnt really have a home anymore- But its better than being out on the streets!!

When peppino went off into the tower to protect his restaurant he told margarits to stay at at the restaurant till he got back!! He sorta..didnt listen since he went into the tower after a few hours past since he was worried about his boss!!

One of the boss fights he does got attacked right in the eye and is partially blind due to it- (probably noise- or doise- idk yet lmao) but he made it to the top and help beat pizzahead and now just chills at the pizzeria and helps with whatever!!

Margarita in the antonblast verse is a angel who really has a grudge with satan. He dealt with him multiple times and sorta hates the dudes guts!! He heard that satan was causing problems and went on his way to find anton or annie and help beat satan!! even if the two irritates the heck outta him! Carries a staff with him- He doesnt need no fancy hammer or any big heavy weapon! A whack with the staff is around the same as a whack of antons hammer!

(I love the story so far! I would like to engage in the story too as well as ask the characters questions and interact with them, mostly, Wario, Anton, Annie, Peppino and the others. Besides, I'm listening to "Dynamite Man" from Antonblast's OST and I think it fits the moments with Anton and Annie. I'll be using "The Death That I Deservioli" for the Lap 2s the groups would do in each level aside from the normal escape themes.)

(Thank you!!! Writers block is being a bitch right but I should be able to crank the next part out in bit. As for lap 2 I do have plans to incorporate that pretty soon, now that we’re moving up to floor 3 (except some “noisy” shenanigans!) and please, feel free to interact as much as you like, I find that riffing off of asks and such massively helps me creatively, so keep em coming!)

Persona 5: Blast Tower Scramble

You can thank this post I stumbled upon for the further ramped up version of 'Peppino being P5 Joker's Dad. Going to get my hand on Antonblast once it comes out so there might be more whacky stuff. Enjoy.

This is similar to my original post but Peppino Spaghetti AND Anton Blast are Ren's parents. I won't go into details about how our boy is born other than it was unexpected with a side of cartoon nonsense. Universe figured might as drop a kid on them like a eldritch troll. Also considering Anton's design is partly based on Oni Masks, there is a personal headcanon that he has some Japanese heritage.

The two definitely had quite an interesting time when it came to raising Ren B(last) Spaghetti. Moles somehow joined the list of animal friends much to Anton's despair. Do know he was an exterminator at the time and the underground dwellers love to mess with him on the job.

Kid Ren said 'Too bad' so Anton has to be friendly to his son's three moles: Chomp, Scratch and A.B (short for Ankle Biter). Peppino was chuckling at the irony in the background cause his husband teased him about the rats/mice/raccoons. Maxxie, Anton's dog, doesn't really care much. Ren is like a Disney Princess but the kind who would sick his animal friends on someone.

Annie is the chaotic aunt to go with Gustavo's responsible uncle schtick. Half of the money in the swear jar is from her. (Anton makes up 38% while Peppino gets the remaining 12%.) She absolutely gave him a small hammer as a little kid and encourage him to whack his Pops Anton on the toes a few times. Or gave Ren enough sugar so he will torture his parents with a sugar rush later before babysitting time is up.

There is going to be further differences with Ren thanks to this change in parents. He looks the same as a human but in toon form, his skin is sheer lobster red. The group honestly thought Ren and his dad were Tengus for a hot second. Both are mischievously destructive after all.

I'm also in the group that supports Anton being demonic headcanon so guess whose half demon! Ren's demon nature had remained dormant for most his life as he never gotten into a situation to flare it awake. Well not for long thanks to Kaneshiro's Palace!

Ren was already feeling shitty and stressed at this point. The Palace of Avarice further eggs him on since Oni type Shadows are a common enemy throughout it so they are extra hostile in a territorial manner to him. Piggytron boss is what breaks the camel's back though.

Ren's demon form definitely takes after how Anton's is usually depicted. (Haven't made my design for him sadly. 🥲) Thick black fluffy fur covering his entire lower half alongside his upper arms, side burns to go along with his now long curly mane around the neck and go down the entire back. Goat hooves replacing his toes while his fingers are replaced for razor sharp claws.

Can't forget the Oni like fangs, serpent like tongue, long spade ending obsidian tail or black with yellow slit eyes. There are differences though as some of Ren's demon form take after Arséne/Satanael. Mainly two pairs of black feathery bat wings and large horns highlighted in glowing red fiery markings.

His friends than just obvious enemies freaked out while Ren is just screaming 'FINALLY' in his head. (The boy been trying to awaken it with some help from his four year old pink little hedgehog sister.) Other than being a 10 ft(human)/12 ft(toon) devil, Ren's personality remains mostly the same except for a touch of very affectionate puppy.

This form isn't restricted by the Velvet Room Contract as it hadn't been awake at the time. Poor Sojiro since Demon Ren is a pouncing hugger when he gets the zoomies and is HEAVY. He's also a cuddler with a steel grip so good luck with that.

Ren's demon heritage does give some credibility to his other world story. It isn't the toon part although Haru still believes him. Speaking of that, Anton wasn't happy either when Ren vanished.

How he disappears is a bit different from the original version. It been out of hatred by someone hates Peppino and Anton so malicious intent remains as the main motive. Ren still punches Shido's lights out alongside camping outside Leblanc.

Anton goes after Satan thinking he's responsible while Peppino is stuck dealing with the events of Pizza Tower. Both reunite at the final Palace in Royal and help beat up Ren's former councilor. Anton is bringing in his hammer from his new demolition job.

The Golden Pizza Cutter is joined with a Silver Hammer which summons the construction worker alongside his coworker Annie. Both are heavy hitters that prioritize in striking large groups and can shatter Physical resistances with their hammer/mace. The Thieves' Den also comes with an additional mode called Ballbreaker.

A combination of Anton's sewer adventure in Anton Ball and the game's Punchball Tournament mode. Though Pops is banned from both. He had a large problem in the past that took time to get rid of. Peppino rather not fix up his pizzeria and ban his husband again.

Anton was definitely ecstatic when he found out Ren gotten his demon form. The two absolutely roughhouse like that, often dragging a reluctant Arséne into the mayhem. It's usually done away from Peppino's Pizzeria as they rather not cause the pizza chef more trouble with repairs. Anton is a bad influence on the Phantom Thieves.

He indulges in the chaotic antics with Johanna, Zorro and Goemon usually reigning him in than just the teenagers. Anton absolutely let them join in on a few shifts at his job cause why not? Getting to wreck old abandoned buildings is a nice stress reliever for humans, half demons and Persona.

Plus he can give Ren his late Christmas present. Considering Anton uses a giant hammer while Annie has a mace, he thought his son deserved his own tool of destruction. Thus Ren becomes the proud owner to a anchor sized pickaxe! Good thing Brulo added an enchantment so he could wield it in his non-toon form.

Rip the Shadows when Ren brings out his new weapon. I don't know what's worse. Being stabbed by a knife, shot in the face, or bludgeon via giant pickaxe. Although all three can happen at the same knowing how much of a chaos agent Ren is.

Anton definitely took meeting the Persona a lot better than Peppino. If he isn't trying to cheat at Tycoon, then he indulges in an game of arm wrestling or pool. No tables were harmed when Anton went against Zorro. (Complete lie as they shattered one to splinters just like that one match with Peppino.)

He loves the insane things the Phantom Thieves get into. Anton got a translated replica of their Calling Cards and figurines from the Thieve's Den Palace Maker. He was over the moon when Futaba gave him a video recording about the time his son summoned a demon lord to kill a god on Christmas Eve.

Overall Anton ramps up the shenanigans into a chaotically explosive cocktail. Hope he doesn't overdo it as Sojiro won't hesitate to ban him from Leblanc. And Coffee Dad is armed with One Shot Medjed for extra incentive.

Back again with the costume designer talk -- Yes, I agree with the mischaracterization of all the characters in s6. It felt like last series' plots and endings had been thrown out the window. While watching s6, it felt like a different show all together. Everything that made every character unique was gone. Was there any reason as to why Edward was gone? Also, you stated that Matty likes Victorian and gothic culture. What are other characters' interests? I know Alo's are nature/punk; Rich: metal

Totally.  I think series 5 got a lot of backlash from older fans who no longer felt like the characters were relatable and were very vocal about that fact on Twitter, and so they decided to go completely in the opposite direction because maybe people would like that instead.  And I think that’s a real shame, because like I’ve said before, I think series 5 is some of the best, tightest writing that Skins ever did.  As far as Edward goes, I think he left to work on Secret Diary of a Call Girl. My impression is that he was trying to balance both jobs in 2010 and then felt like it was too much.  Katie Newham, who took over, was Edward’s assistant costumer, so I think he assumed that she would be able to just pick up where he left off, which ended up totally not being the case (and which is what makes me think she comes from a styling/costume construction background as opposed to a costume design one).

I was in the mood for some Cuphead-

Wally Warbles is nice to draw but I also have a HORRIBLE time drawing wings like seriously- I used references (like A BUNCH) and I think it kinda turned out alright, except for his STUPID RIGHT WING THAT LOOKS WONKY AS HECK NOOO-

I also drew Henchman and OMG I LOVE HIM- I love doing his expressions and just GAHHHH HE’S SO CUUUUTE!!!!! To say he’s my favorite character is an understatement, he’s legit adorable and I will love him forever 🤲💖

I also drew some ANTONBLAST too since, although the game hasn’t come out yet, so far the fandom’s been great and Anton and Annie are so fun to draw!!!!

The only thing I will admit is….. something I’m pretty scared to say….. (And what other people think of my opinion-…)

I think Anton x Annie is kinda cute?….

OKAY HEAR ME OUT- I like them in general and I honestly think they might look cute together, but I get if people don’t like it and that’s completely fine! I see people ship Anton and Peppino A LOT and I think it’s cute, but I like Peppino and Gustavo, which just leaves Anton alone so- what am I gonna do? Again, if you don’t like it, I won’t draw ANY ship art of the two and I’ll just draw them as buddies. But please express your opinion on this I would appreciate it and also I think it’d be nice what other people think about it! Thank you <:]

This conversation is telling. 

Red: In 1990, the KGB and the CIA had almost nothing in common except the mutual determination to hunt down one individual. Lilly: You. Red: Being a fugitive from American law enforcement is a lot easier than being a fugitive from the two most powerful nations on Earth. And anyone close to a target of theirs becomes a target themselves.

Raymond Reddington would’ve died in the fire in 1989. The ONLY person who was being hunted in 1990, was Katarina Rostova herself. Katarina spoke of it to Kate over the phone, Red mentions it again when he hires Kate, Anton Velov speaks of it in a letter to Liz, and it’s shown in scene in Cape May. 

Liz: Velov was the agent assigned to find her. He was getting close, she knew it. That’s why she allegedly walked into the ocean. She wanted the world to believe she drowned. Red: But Velov knows differently.

Red: Katarina was a traitor to two countries, both global superpowers.

Kate: You need to come back for your daughter. It’s been over a week. Katarina: I can’t. The KGB uncovered my affair with Raymond, which means US Intelligence knows as well. Both sides are tracking me down. I have to leave the country. It’ll be weeks before I can come for Masha.

Absolutely no one would’ve been hunted by both countries in 1990 once Katarina “disappeared.” The ONLY time we hear of ‘Raymond Reddington’ being wanted - or of crimes he committed, was upon his resurface in 1994.

Ressler: This highly respected officer up and disappears from the face of the earth. Until - four years later, when classified NOFORN documents start showing up in Maghreb, Islamabad, Beijing. These leaks were traced to Reddington.

Red spoke of the CIA hunting down one invidual, and Peter was the CIA’s Director of National Clandestine Services. This would be why Peter knows what Katarina Rostova looked like. 

Red removed gender of person by using “individual.” Same as when he spoke to Dom about not being the “person” he wanted him to be. 

Neither our Red or the real Red would be described as a ‘fugitive’ of Russia if both were American, but rather an ‘enemy.’ 

Velov: I’m surprised we never met. For many years, while you were still with US Counterintelligence, I considered you the KGB’s greatest enemy.

The only person who’d be considered a ‘fugitive’ of Russia... is Katarina herself. So unless our Red or the real Red were acting as a double agent for Russia, that’s not happening. 

So when are you coming back for Masha?           I can’t. I’m going away. Do you remember what I looked like that night? Lying in the street, my head torn open… Annie’s body in front of me.          You know I don’t know what you looked like. I was away.

Red putting Liz in Kate’s arms as a baby girl makes sense if Red is Katarina. 

And the soundtrack when he shoots her, even more sense if he’s Katarina.

See. In theory I would looovee to find other people who ship with antօn.blαst/bαll characters. But I can't actively seek them out bc I'm way too weird about sharing Anton rn. And basically none of the others (except Annie) have the same level of development/prevalence, so probably nobody is shipping with them anyway. And also obviously the new game isn't out yet.

DOT TO DOT FESTIVAL ANNOUNCES ARTISTS FOR FIRST EVER AUTUMN EDITION OF THE MULTI-VENUE FESTIVAL

Dot To Dot Festival have announced the first artists to join the bill for their 2021 event, this year taking place in September; the first autumn event in the 16 year history of the award-winning festival with a reputation for bringing the hottest new talent to city-centre stages.

This year’s event continues Dot To Dot’s rich tradition of championing emerging talent, with the announcement that SPORTS TEAM will headline the festival in Bristol and Nottingham on the 25th and 26th of September respectively. Since last playing mid-way down the D2D bill in 2018, followed by a breakout 2019 for the 6-piece band, Sports Team have garnered an unparalleled reputation for excellent live shows that are guaranteed to be injected with raw energy. Their consistency in both performances and releases, have also earnt them a high standing as one of the best British bands right now, championed by the likes of DIY, 6 Music, NME and many more. 2020 saw the band release their debut album, Deep Down Happy, to much critical acclaim and a Mercury Prize nomination.

Frontman Alex Rice said: “Can’t wait to be back, this’ll be the first time we’ve played our debut album since it was released in 2020. A two night inter-city headline feels the right way to dip our toes back in.”

Joining Sports Team for D2D’s 2021 edition, are British alternative rock band, PALACE. With two albums under their belt and sold out tours at home & abroad, the London trio will be bringing their revered, shimmering indie rock to D2D. Their anticipated latest EP Someday, Somewhere was released in October and builds on the beautiful sound and image they have curated over the previous 6 years, lending promise to atmospheric live performances ahead.

Dublin 4-piece GIRL BAND will also be showcasing their tremendous live reputation in Bristol and Nottingham this September. Highly regarded and renowned for their genre-defying cataclysmic noise and infamously ferocious shows, a taste of which can be heard on their 2020 Live at Vicar Street release, but will really need to be seen first-hand to be believed.

DO NOTHING return to Dot To Dot Festival for 2021. Since emerging through 2018 & 2019, and with debut EP Zero Dollar Bill released in 2020, the Nottingham band have fast become one of the UK music scene’s most exciting prospects; with frontman Chris Bailey’s acerbic & quick-witted lyricism, their driven post-punk-meets-Talking-Heads sound, and a formidable reputation for exquisite live shows. 2021 has already seen the 4-piece release 2 singles in anticipation of their second EP, Glueland, expected March 12th.

Elsewhere on the D2D 2021 line up is genre-bending rap artist, SAM WISE. A member of cult London rap crew, House of Pharaohs, who name Frank Ocean among their fans. The Kennington native has also notably featured on tracks by the likes of Octavian, winner of BBC Sound of 2019, as well as building a solid reputation that is entirely his own through the release of his mixtape, Sorry You Were Saying, showcasing his witty storytelling, impeccable flows and fluid approach to genre and tone.

South-East London collective STEAM DOWN will bring their energetic live show to Bristol and Nottingham. Since forming back in 2007, Steam Down have received two Jazz FM awards, which include ‘Live Experience of the Year Award’ and ‘The Innovation Award’; accolades that clearly emphasise the impact and importance they’ve had on the UK’s flourishing jazz scene throughout the decade.

OSCAR LANG will bring his ever-growing, genre-crossing back catalogue to Bristol and Nottingham this autumn, showing no sign of slowing down following the release of two EPs and one album in 2020. Also fresh from a new release; their debut album, Speed Kills, London’s loudest breakout band CHUBBY AND THE GANG are certain to make an impression at Dot To Dot this year, if the 28 minutes of the album itself are anything to go by. The unruly punk energy and hardcore kid sensibilities displayed throughout the record are guaranteed mosh pit starters that will have crowds spilling pints and screaming gang vocals back at them.

Also on board are minimalist rock band YARD ACT who have been gradually dropping proto-punk/post-punk infused singles since mid-2020, with just a handful of singles and a handful of gigs, they have already earned themselves a tip as “one to watch” from The Guardian back in August. Likewise, self-described ‘dream pop trip hop’ three-piece, DRUG STORE ROMEOS’ appearance at Dot To Dot will certainly be one to catch, after being named for Annie Mac’s AMP London emerging artist series in 2020 and generating further buzz with the release of three singles during the year.

Singer-songwriter AARON SMITH has amassed 8 million+ Spotify streams of his sincere and communicative songs since growing up in the small Scottish town of Polmont, and joins the Dot To Dot bill, as does Birmingham-based rapper KOFI STONE, whose debut album, released in 2019, included features from Loyle Carner, Maverick Sabre and Ady Suleiman, and saw him truly arrive as one of the most exciting rappers on the UK hip-hop scene, thanks to his soulful and introspective flow. New Zealander MOLLY PAYTON will bring her powerful voice and the melancholic vulnerability of her songs to the festival; a relative newcomer, Payton released several attention-grabbing singles throughout 2020, culminating in two EPs. 

British R&B and trap artist S-X is set to perform, having released an impressive three LPs since 2018, as well as gaining notoriety through working with numerous artists as a record producer, including YouTube star KSI, who he occasionally joins on Celebrity Gogglebox, and with a debut album on the way LOW ISLAND will be at Dot To Dot this September, bringing both uplifting electronica and intimate ballads to crowds at the multi-venue metropolitan festival.

Dot To Dot Festival prides itself on seeking out the freshest emerging musical talent and 2021 is no exception, particularly with the appointment of Sports Team as headliners, a mere 3 years since they first played the festival. Dot To Dot organiser and Director of Live at DHP Family, Anton Lockwood, said: “After having to postpone our 2020 event, we couldn’t be happier to be announcing D2D 2021. We simply can’t wait to celebrate live music with some of the most exciting emerging acts this year – Dot To Dot has always been about seeing your new favourite band in the middle of the day and your favourite band as headliners. We’re sure Sports Team became a lot of people’s new favourite band when they played in a late afternoon, smaller stage slot 3 years ago, and having them as headliners now really demonstrates this approach and ethos.”

Completing the bill so far, and filling some of those smaller stage slots that this year’s headliners have graced in the past, are: Bristol-based, queer punk-trio, GRANDMAS HOUSE who combine a love of post-punk with surfy melodies; the unconventional songwriting and pop-leaning sensibilities of MOA MOA; Manchester-based post-punk trio LIINES; WALT DISCO, who draw influence from ‘80s post-punk legends and modern-day art-pop chic; The sweet bedroom pop of 18 year old TINYUMBRELLAS; Crouch End quintet, SAD BOYS CLUB, with their emotive and ambitious indie-pop sound; JOEY MAXWELL, whose bedroom pop is R&B infused and layered with blunt lyricism; Space-rock five-piece, finding romance and humour in everyday life, JUNODREAM; LIZZIE REID and her songs of love, loss and heartbreak from Glasgow; the atmospheric soundscapes of epic proportions created by ELLYSSE MASON; the amorphous creative entity that is FOLLY GROUP, encompassing a group of friends whose practice spans various disciplines; Full-time busker turned indie tastemaker favourite, TAYO SOUND; the macabre stories, told over ear shredding guitar and rattling drums of WYCH ELM; Plus many more still to be announced.
