they play dumb kid games like shark and minnows every time they meet up

charmy is actually the one who got tails into gaming (he’s SO salty that tails is actually better than him now)

they should not be left without adult supervision when together.. it will not end well

tails gives them both flying lessons and tips on how to go fast even while carrying someone

charmy and tails are lego guys !! they build all kinds of shit (they never use instructions)

tails is allowed to do practically anything he wants when rouge watches him

she’ll say she doesn’t care for him, but rouge is soft <3

rouge beta tests a lot of the stealth gadgets tails creates

tails gets flustered a lot because she praises him a LOT and he doesn’t know how to cope

rouge gives him a lot of classified gov. info because why not (he gives her gems in payment)

she absolutely spoils him (so does everyone who’s older than him but like,, rouge especially)

Another installment of random Sonic Headcanons

Sonic doesn't like buttercream frosting, Tails doesn't like whipped frosting, and Knuckles always wipes 90% of the frosting off his cake

When Tails is doing something, whether it's working in his lab or just making dinner, Sonic will shadow box the air behind him. He stops when Tails turns around to look at him, but the fox very much knows that Sonic is throwing fake punches at him lol

Tails, Cream, and Charmy play animal crossing (or the Sonic equivalent lol) together

Matter of fact, I think like all the characters play video games together. I'm sure they have different types of video games they like (I can see Sonic playing animal crossing but Jet? Not so much) but it's not odd for them to enter an online lobby

Tails loves crunchy foods

Espio once asked Vector to death roll him to "see if his body could take it".... Vector obviously said no

I don't think any of the cast really feel famous, except for maybe the Babylon Rogues bc they're (probably) sports stars

No matter how often they get asked for an autograph or approached in public they're all like "???? Yeah ??? I guess I can take a picture with you ???"

I think hedgehogs are one of the most common races (species??) of Mobian

If the Robotniks were Mobian they would be robins (<- pretty sure I've said that before) and possibly various other red and black birds

Barry and Tails keep in contact, but they don't get a lot of chances to hang out

I don't have anything for Blaze and Silver rn but just know that I love them dearly and I'm always thinking of them

Cream is determined to befriend Shadow. She will stop at nothing until he admits that they are friends

Sonic hates being on talkshows, and talkshows hate having him on, so it's mutual lol

The Rookie (whose name i cannot remember rn it's on the tip of my tongue omg) keeps the most contact with Knuckles, but everyone still stops to chat when they get the chance

Shadow suffers from memory loss after... Falling out of a spaceship and... Losing his memory...

I think for a while he was too prideful to write things down or set reminders because heaven forbid the ultimate lifeform needs help. This led to Shadow forgetting where his own place was and refusing to ask how to get there

Maybe this is my new explanation for why Shadow is always in caves and is never shown in a house of his own, instead of the actual explanation lol

Sonic often talks to Gaia/Chip when he's alone, Tails caught him a few times and has also picked up the habit, though he does talk to him less than Sonic does

Charmy doesn't like bananas

I've said this before in this post about shadows development, but I think he sheds a lot. Hedgehogs aren't actually supposed to lose quills unless they're super stressed, but because Shadow's DNA is only partially Mobian Hedgehog, a few things are off

have a bunch of headcanons for my sonic gijinkas bc i keep thinking about them

•everyone (except tails, cream and charmy) are adults

•these are all two bedroom apartments with finished basements (shadow, knuckles, and amy each have their rooms in the basement)

•eggman in this AU is the neighborhood's landlord/maintenance man

•bc of his connection to eggman, metal doesn't pay rent for his place

•vanilla was the main one to help the neighborhood birdhouse get built

•amy is a close family friend of vanilla and cream which is why she lives with them

•tails' is usually alone at home, his parents both work a lot and they usually just leave notes for him (a la double d's parents)

•tails never invites anyone over to his house just to be safe

•nobody knows what big does for work and everyone wonders how he pays rent

•charmy lives in the neighborhood too, he just lives on a farther away street and usually bikes to the chaotix apartment

•despite rouge having her own place, she will stay over the chaotix apartment to hang out with knuckles and his dog

•knuckles has a dog, his name is master

•dogs aren't allowed in the apartment so he has to hide him whenever eggman comes

•rouge will sometimes take master to her place without telling knuckles just to piss him off and get him to come over

•sonic and amy dated in high school (sophomore/junior year) but broke up

•sonic still has some feelings but he doesn't want to admit it

•amy is friendly with metal and it does irritate him

•amy is hispanic but she doesn't speak spanish well at all, knuckles makes fun of her for it

•knuckles knows spanish and jamaican patois bc he's cool like that (afro-hispanic)

•the babylon rogues are almost always seen skateboarding in front of the neighborhood corner store

•they'll mean mug people coming in and out just to be funny

•vanilla cooks a lot of food so she'll give most of it away to everyone if they ask for it

•amy has stayed over at everyone's apartment at least once (except for jet & storm)

•it's not uncommon to see vector and vanilla talking outside of her place (what are they talking about?)

•silver has a bass guitar and he's always practicing with it

•sonic supports him learning, while shadow doesn't care (both don't want to hear him practice)

•silver usually goes to blaze's place to practice

Random thought of something I find quite unfair. Everyone knows Sonic and Tails are best pals right? Right. But here's the thing. Sonic, and pretty much almost everyone else in the franchise has many different relationships. For starters, Sonic is literally the main character, so he has a relantioship with pretty much everyone. Knuckles, for example, is really close to Sonic, Tails and Amy, but he has other relantioships outside that, like with the Chaotix and Rouge. Amy is another one that befriends everyone easily, like Cream, Silver, Blaze, Shadow and heck even Surge now in IDW.

But what about Tails?

I've seen many people complain already that despite Tails being ridiculously close to Knuckles and Amy, we don't get to see him interact much with either of them without Sonic being around (except for Frontiers, which I'm very greatful for). We don't see having any strong bonds with everyone besides Sonic, and yes, I know that they're called "Unbreakle Bond" for a reason, but come on, everyone else gets to have a million of close friends, why does Tails have to exclusive to Sonic?

The only really close relationships we've seen Tails form besides him and maybe Knuckles and Amy are with Cosmo and Chunck on Sonic X. But it isn't even canon in some time-lines. Some might say Charmy or Cream, because they're the "kid trio", and as much as I like that idea come on, is there any comic or canon Sonic content really featuring this trio alone? And then there's IDW, where he finally gets a nemesis for HIM, Kitsunami, yet we got like- 5 interactions of them or something. He's also kinda close to Tangle and Belle, and you can even take like, Barry from TMOSTH, but the fandom doesn't even give much attetion to that. It's SO HARD to find comics, fanarts, fanfics and just overall content of Tails with someone else who isn't Sonic, (at least from what I've seen on Tumblr) while for everyone else it can be easy.

Anyways my point is... GIVE. US. MORE. TAILS. INTERACTIONS. WITH. OTHER. CHARACTERS. Thank you so much.

Does the HP gang have any social relations or "friends" (besides each other) that they DON'T eventually murder? Or do they keep to themselves as much as possible with the exception of luring victims?

Of course they’ve had their fate share of friends outside of the household.

Amy hangs out with Cream and Vanilla every other week for a nice cup of tea.

Knuckles has his pals Mighty and Ray who still live down in the farmlands.

Sonic of course has his Ex Shadow, but also he has a lot of friends from a lot of places, alive or not.

And as well, Tails is friends with all of his family’s friends, but he has some school friends, Charmy, Cream, and Marine.

so the gist of it is everything’s the same except all the teams are randomized, and I wanted to hear any head cannons or ideas people might have cuz we were planning on doing a small comic on it‼️

Where’s Vector in this? Why isn’t he helping look for Espio?

I answered this before but Vector retired from field work and is now living with Vanilla, his wife. He's open to help Charmy and Cream with cases as a consultant tho, well, except for the Espio case. There is a story reason for why he doesn't wanna do it, but I'll get to that whenever I can

I'm so curious about how being from 200 years in the future affects Silver's attitude about relationships (both platonic and romantic). Like there's absolutely no way it doesn't, considering Silver's yeeted between time periods whenever a crisis happens (this is implied as early as Sonic Rivals 2 btw, as it's kinda implied in Silver and Espio's story that a portal just. shows up to take him back to the future). He's constantly yeeted between a time period where all his friends are (usually) happy and healthy and a time period where all his friends are dead.

That feels like it'd fundamentally fuck up somoene's views on relationships, making them either inclined to avoid connection (much like Shadow's attitude), crave connection to avoid loneliness (which does seem to be Silver's current attitude, and is something he directly mentions in issue 8 of the IDW comics), or both. It makes me wonder where Silver's at on that spectrum, and if he has attachment issues. These are people who have been dead for probably at least a century in his time period.

This is actually something I think is a minor flaw of the Sonic franchise. While there are exceptions (notable ones being Espio post-Zombot arc and Shadow) we don't really see how events have affected these characters. We don't get to really see how Forces affected anyone. We don't get to see how Generations affected anyone (and we know it did affect Tails, Charmy, and Cream at the very least, because Tails says he's going to have nightmares for weeks after you save him, Cream says "It was scary in the dark, but I tried to be brave" when you save her as Modern Sonic, and Charmy describes it as "very scary" if you save him as Classic Sonic and tells Modern Sonic "I was scared because somebody took me"). We don't really see how anything affects Sonic (which is a missed opportunity, because he probably has PTSD at this point and I think that's something that'd be wonderful to show. Unfortunately I don't see Sega showing Sonic with PTSD any time soon due to their dumb mandates). There's absolutely no way Silver isn't incredibly traumatized from all the time travel shenanigans he gets into (not inherently because of the time travel shenanigans, but because he's constantly trying to fix his future and doesn't have purpose without that. Additionally he's from a time period where all of his friends have been dead for decades, which cannot be good for one's psyche).

My point is none of these characters should be as okay as Sega likes to portray (with the exception of Shadow I guess) and the best we get regarding Silver specifically is his premonition thing in Team Sonic Racing and his existential crisis in Future Growth.

I don't like it much myself, but I firmly believe people sexualising the main cast aren't inherently pedos, they're just furries.

I used to think that you could only read the characters as children because I do, but then I spoke to some of my friends who know the series but aren't in the fan base, and when I asked how old they thought the characters were I got a huge range, like Sonic aged 12 - 30 and the rest of the cast sort of around that, and gave pretty decent reasons for how they read them.

Except Tails and Cream and Charmy, who even the person estimating oldest thought were like 16. So that's where I redrew the line.

Summary:

Many years ago a butterfly named Vanessa created different words, each with different types of magic. One world, however, did not have this and was the center of the universe. Vanessa reins over her own world, as the Empress of Crystal Empire.

But one day, a hedgehog named Diabolos was not happy with this. So he created words that were formed around the negative of each word. And one by one each positive world fell.

But when each world fell a Cure would be born. A cure was a person who can transform into a legendary warrior. The respected ruler of each world would send out one or multiple Cure Chaos, Flickies, or Spirits to search out chosen people to take up the role of Pretty Cure.

However one day, Diabolos, fed up with losing, attacked the Crystal Empire. With the last of her energy, she sealed him away in a mirror and soon she faded away. Even though their leader was gone the Black Crystal Empire still fought and this is where our story begins…

Addressing those who are reading Sonic Cyber Revolution (Sonic the Hedgehog AU Story)

While the cast of characters for my Sonic Cyber Revolution is quite large, I've managed to introduce most of the important Sonic characters, with several more coming up in future chapters. This left me wondering whether those who read my story want to see any specific characters that I haven't introduced or even mentioned yet, but fit under the conditions that I have set.

I know well that there are way more characters in the Sonic Universe and I'm sure that you guys have some of your favorites that you would want to be featured in some way.

My conditions for character suggestions consists of:

*The character must have been featured in the mainline Sonic media, such as the video games, comics or cartoons. NO OCs!!!

*The Sonic media in question consists of the canon Sonic video games (meaning Sonic Chronicles: The Dark Brotherhood is out of the question as it is not canon), Sonic IDW comics, Sonic movies or the Sonic cartoons (specifically the Sonic OVA, Sonic X, Sonic Boom & Sonic Prime).

*The characters from the following Sonic media WON'T be accepted: Adventures of Sonic the Hedgehog, Sonic SatAM, Sonic Underground, Sonic the Comic, Sonic Archie comics.

*Yes, that means that the Freedom Fighters won't be featured in the story. No, I won't reconsider this decision. I'm sorry to those who got their hopes up.

*I do regret not adding Scourge the Hedgehog and Shard the Metal Sonic from the Sonic Archie comics, tho. As well as the evil Super Sonic from Sonic the Comic.

*But, isn't Eclipse the Darkling a Sonic Archie comics original character? Why is he going to appear and not the others?

*Eclipse the Darkling is the sole exception to this rule due to his nature as a member of the Black Arms, meaning that he will make his appearance when I adapt Shadow the Hedgehog (2005).

*Take note that this is a Sonic AU, meaning that the characters will have familiar, but very different backgrounds from their canon selves.

*Both Classic Era and Modern Era characters are free game, as noted by the appearance of Honey the Cat. The main cast, as listed above, appear as their Modern selves.
