This was based on my own review. Specifically this part:

"I kinda wish we got to see more Shadow Walter interaction. Walter tried to stop GUN from hunting down Shadow. And he was there when Shadow was put into sleep. I was hoping when Shadow met Tom-disguised-as-Walter, he lashed out. You know...misplaced anger and all. That he blamed Walter for not trying hard enough in stopping GUN. That Maria died because the bullet Walter tried to stop caused the explosion. So it made sense when Shadow was surprised Walter's face suddenly turned into Tom. Because he thought he was punching Walter, not someone else."
