Personally i'd rather be disgusted, offended, and angry than bored, so in my opinion the fan movie is the worst. No hate to anyone who likes any of these things though, i'm glad you liked something i didn't. I would feel worse picking on these projects if at least one of them didn't have some kind of huge cardinal sin against it, like dear starboy idolizing suicide or the best of both worlds weird incest/selfcest shit.

please, somebody correct me if I'm wrong and don't take this as fact because I'm not sure, but didn't Tord L say he didn't want to be a part of eddsworld at all anymore? I thought that meant his character too? I think the jokes and stuff and like little cameos or whatever in the episodes are fine but making merch of him seems a little weird, maybe it's just me

Example being users will post random artist’s ship art (almost always tomtord) just to gather people to hate on it. And nobody comments about how it’s messed up to use some artists’ hard work just to take the piss out of a ship? Like hello

Also are just always angry if anyone ships tomtord? Like these characters are so silly, dude. Goofy. Not meant to be taken seriously 99% of the time. Have some fun. The distinction between the characters and irl people was made YEARS ago. Literally unclench that asshole it is not that serious. Official eddsworld team has teased tommatt for gods sake

i yet again do NOT understand why people think that what happened to steven in future came out of nowhere. the main show beats it into the ground how fucked up all this stuff has him! just cause he ends the main show in a good place doesnt mean that everything was solved! he solved the gem stuff but not himself, that was the whole point!

Oh yeah the WC fandom is fucking insane.

There's a very popular fanartist who has an OC that's a villain and people were harassing her because her villain is a white cat in a clan of black cats, and she was bullied and abused by them for her fur color.

People were literally accusing her of being a racist because "The white cat is being abused by the black cats, the artist is clearly saying that black people are evil and violent and want to victimize white people!"

The artist literally based the dynamic on how crows will ostracize birds in their flock that have albinism and people were going, "Why did she have to do this story with cats? Why not just do it with crows? Kind of sus :/"

Like,,, hello? What? It's fine if the story is about birds, but if it's about cats, it's racist? How does that make any fucking sense.

I genuinely think it's really funny how Eddsworld fans (mostly TordEdd shippers) will use The End as an excuse to say that "TomTord is this" or "TomTord is that" but when it comes to T*rdM*tt or TordEdd (or even TordJon) they automatically pull the "Clone Theory" card like if Tord didn't abuse Matt and Edd in The End as well.

I'm not saying all the ships are bad (cuz all of them have their way to be special, even TomTord) but it's like people didn't watch The End correctly. Yeah sure only TomTord is toxic you totally didn't watch The End completely nahhhhh
