Descending from the clouds was the space-yacht, it was a more luxurious and fancy larger spaceship adorned with the Elliott Family Crest on the airlock hatch and the back rudder. The ship landed safely to the meet point, the door to the airlock was open, allowing Tessa and her drones to come aboard.

more md wof au stuff I kinda rush sketched

quick review I basically replaced the abslutesolver with the breath of evil bc almost 1 to 1 match and all solvers are animi. the last resistance against the HiveWings were thousands of years ago and failed. HW basically demoted silkwings into barely even dragon, a flamesilk managed to get out and burn silkwings out of an animus removal enchantment, silkwing animus appeared and at first they tried to control them by forcing one to make a collar that permanently restricts it but it worked so well they tried to control one out of fear. the boe was ditched years before and the othermind decided to get revenge by taking over discarded silkwings. Cicada was the first, enchanted by an infected animus to be an animus, and all goes similarly. it forced some silkwings into metamorphosis to be these weird hive-night hybrids labeled SwarmWings. animus silks get the special treatment and became silk-nights instead

first one is my idea of heart nori who in this au is onvia. onvia had experimented with growing a part of the BoE to control herself years before her death but was fully infected by the time she was able to use it. instead she only had access to the piece after dying, kind of rebirthed into the mindspace of her own that she had reign over. she eventually grabbed a leafwing corpse to control bc being an unmovable plant is boring. I thought of making it a canon character before I remembered those corpses would've disappeared centuries ago whoops. Also yes she decorated the leafwing with accessories bc why not.

second image is n meeting onvia. also there's solver uzi. incomparison to her silkwing appearance she has a bulkier build and some foresight. also have her learning how to fly with webbed dragon wings (n has no idea what he's doing but is there to catch her so he's doing his best. i actually had planned to have swarmwings have nightwing wings and i might change it to that depending on how much im willing to modify the hivewing base like that.)

tawny, tessa in this au. tawny is the daughter of a lady of a hive and ends up being the remaining hivewing royal after the othermind massacre on the hives. she was crowned at such a young age and thus very stressed and full of guilt. luckily (not) th othermind eventually found tawny to know too much about it to live and after a few times the hivewings stopped some infected silkwings, it just sent one into the throne room and killed her lol. and then wore her body ofc that happens in this au but I'm not gonna go into that until the next sketch :)))).

Sheila wanted no part of it but she didn't really have a choice since going around with her hair even a little tattered was unacceptable. Sheila bursts in, scowling, not believing she had stooped so low to visit the robot’s salon. She immediately sat down on an empty chair. With an attitude she calls RoboTessa to her.

Get over here! Don’t question why I bother to be here. I have no other choice. You better do you job right, I can’t deal with my hair being even slightly imperfect and I don’t want you to make it worse! I have to maintain my beauty, unlike a certain somebody I know. Just..Just even up my hair somehow. Don’t be an incompetent drone and don’t you dare say otherwise. It’s a blessing that I came over here.

J- I have to ask- was it really N's fault? everything that happened? all his fault? somehow Sheila liked'em more then you? was he ever personally mean to you? belittled you? intentionally caused you harm? and just cause she liked'em more- wouldn't that've meant he interacted with'er more? drew her ire more? people like that, tend to treat those they LIKE worse- if not more covertly- and due to the whole- robot servant thing- not much any of you could've done! so I just ask- dose he really deserve that much resentment? if you think so- I can't change ya'n won't really- try! just- asking ya to really think bout it-

It wasn’t N’s FAULT but he did play a part. He lacks a spine and would always slither back to Sheila whenever he’s mildly inconvenienced. He’s her yes-man and wouldn’t dare to do anything to upset her. Hell, he never defended nor protected us three, HE NEVER HAD OUR BACKS.

While he had fun playing with Sheila, we would always be in the path of her wrath. Do you think he would’ve at least tried to persuade Sheila into being kinder? Of course not, he just sit there and let it happen.

Sheila liked him for his dependence on her, how spineless and “cute” he is. Y’know, getting rid of the old dog to make room for the puppy,

here's a collection of my Murder Drones headcanons because I like yaping about Murder Drones

- Cyn likes to watch people sleep. This has nothing to do with the solver btw she just like that. She likes how calm they are when they're asleep.

- V loves trashy romance novels, the more sappy and lovey-dovey the better. A quarter of her memory is dedicated to her romance books. Also she has killed to keep this a secret and she will kill again.

- Uzi is a Sonic fan and she claims her favorite character is Shadow (but secretly her true favorite character is Amy, she just won't admit it). N doesn't really get Sonic but he will listen to Uzi talk about it for hours just because he likes hearing her talk. (Also his favorite is Silver)

- N is actually not that affected by horror movies, he has seen and done worse after all. But he does use horror movie nights as an excuse to snuggle Uzi and V.

- Tessa practices kissing on J once or twice.... Maybe three times but that's just what friends do, and J almost overheated after was completely coincidental, don't read into it there just gal pals trust me.

- Khan loved fishing before all the water froze and the fish died, kinda related but J also likes fishing.

- Nori really doesn't want to be the type of parent that judges her child partner but Uzi is testing her patients. She could handle a boyfriend, a girlfriend and a nonbinaryfriend, hell she would accept her dating a human, but no Uzi had to date not one but two of disassemble drones (NUziV is cannon because it's awesome) and Nori is terrified that the 3rd one will come home one day.

- post finale Thad and Cyn became surprisingly fast friends, Thad isn't really all that bothered by being friendly with someone who has tried to kill and eat everyone he knows (mainly because he kinda desensitizes to it) and he thinks she's fun to talk to. And Cyn just like anyone who would talk to her without all the baggage of her own actions.

- still post finale, Cyn has a little soundproof box she is put in when Uzi wants alone time, Cyn used to hate it and tried to escape the box, until one day she did and she saw something she didn't want to see. She still hates the box but she now knows better.

- Cyn whispers evil into Uzi's ear when she's asleep, like literally she repeatedly whispers the word evil into Uzi ears just to annoy her.

The murder drones x hollow knight au... its rotting my brain

For a little context and lore for the au let me dig up some stuff i wrote a bit ago

Alright, Cyn is a moth. Which, slight spoilers? But in game, they're generally seen as peace keepers and a nonviolent tribe. Cyn resides in the Aurelian Line palace (Aurelian literally means golden, and is often related to butterflies. The elliots are butterflies hehehe) as a maid. The palace is a grand, magnificent castle that traverses deep underground, going through several regions. It is golden, shimmering in the faint light that makes its way down below.

Humans have been long extinct, forcing their own downfall with their technological advancements, effectively killing themselves off in a war that couldn't be won. The bugs of the kingdom speak of ancient giants who used to be able to harness these powers and fell below the earth because of it.

Remnants of this technology still exist, though due to the track record, it was strictly forbidden to be interacted with and was sealed away.

It was so well kept, many considered it simply a legend, a myth and nothing more.

That is, until the Aurelian line rediscovers it. Believing they can use its power and harness it themselves, they begin meddling with the technology. Obviously, this eventually backfires lol.

The most esteemed intelligence of the palace couldn't figure out how to operate anything. It was constant trial and error. Tessa, the heir to the Aurelian palace, has a passion for science and all things technological. She has the idea to test the technology's reaction with organic material. She decides to use lifeseeds to experiment on.

Late one night in secret, Tessa sneaks out of quarters and into the dark chambers below where the technology is stored.

The initial reaction is.. bad! Or good, depending on how you look at it. It starts off as an aggressive burst of energy, the lifeseeds quickly growing corrupted as it fuses wickedly with the technology, filling the area with a viscous substance in seconds. This traps tessa in a cocoon of sorts.

The technology ends up "attatching" itself to the lifeseeds, and in turn, also all of the lifeblood. Essentially traveling as a consciousness through the root systems.

Now basically being a sort of AI, with no "OS" or vessel to operate on, it quickly surges out in the form of little corrupted lifeseeds, looking for a potential host. And of course a certain bright eyed moth is attracted to the light. To the promise of safety and power. The promise of a changed, better world. Where everyone is connected, everything is in order, everything is one.

In a matter of days, everything wickedly changes. What once was a gorgeous, lively golden castle, is now cloaked in darkness, the only light being the harsh blue glare of screens, pulsating wires and roots strewing throughout the place.

Obviously this is all very rough, its basically evil AI takeover fused with biological elements so... biomech horror >:] but bugs

Was it always Cyn or the Solver?

I know i'm kinda late to the game but i just finished watching murder drones and now I HAVE THOUGHTS

Like the fact that the Cyn we were shown may have never actually been her. There's so many implications that the Solver was an outside entity that found a way to manifest in Cyn's code when she self-rebooted in flashbacks of Home; when on Cyn's visor after she wakes up in the junkyard, it tells her she's been discarded and if she gives it admin access it will not discard her. Would the Solver have killed her off for good if she had said no? Did the Solver promise her revenge for what the humans had done to her and that's what she agreed to, not knowing the full consequences?

We know that Tessa and the others were genuinely fond of her in the beginning. Then something changed. Had it been her originally, learning how to love them and to be loved in return -- whether she wanted revenge or not -- while the Solver remained dormant in her system? Or had it been the Solver, pretending to be her until it got powerful enough to drop the act?

Did Cyn have to watch as her family began to dislike her because of the Solver's slip ups in behavior, unable to do anything? As they believed that it was her that was evil, not the Solver? Was grafting Tessa's skin the Solver's morbid way to keep her with them, to ease Cyn's pain of killing her with her own two hands?

Had the Solver actually grown attached to the others in the end, or had that been Cyn getting slowly absorbed body and mind with the Solver... until there was nothing left of her at all?
