RAT UZI REF AND NOTES LET'S GO

• basically the same as Uzi in the show, not too many differences besides the post ending arc

• covered in scars from being reckless and her habit of tinkering with machinery

• inherited a weakened strain of the Absolute Salvation from her mother, affecting her similarly like it does in the show

• this can cause her to crave blood and lash out. it does mutate her appearance slightly. Though it will go back to normal over the course of a couple of days.

• Her eyes are typically a dark indigo but become a bright, vibrant purple when using her abilities

• girlypop does NOT like Cyn at first

She's lowkey scared of her, not that she would ever admit it. It takes a couple of months of Nate insisting they try to get along before they both start making sorry attempts at peaceful interactions.

• firm believer that cyn fell first but uzi fell HARDER

• post-ending arc, uzi is still a tech whiz and loves building and tinkering with things. Cyn might even help out some, too, since she's learned some stuff over the years (against her will but- what can ya do)

INTRODUCING... MY DRONESONA/OC, SCRAP

Scrap is a unique type of drone, a Collector Drone. Collector drones are a byproduct of worker drones, built with a few differences to be more efficient at their primary tasks. They are slightly smaller and more compact, but much heavier and hardy. These drones were built to be able to hold extremely heavy loads, much more than your average worker drone. They can also endure much harsher conditions, and are overall a bit more resilient.

They were often tasked with "collecting" things, hence the name. Trash, scrap material, valuables, minerals, etc etc. Primarily, they were used to mine the planets, collecting and transporting materials they gathered. They are equipped with an extra pair of arms, that are removable and replaceable via a port on their sides just below their primary arms. As well as ANOTHER pair of ports just on their backside for a third pair of appendages if they're ever seen fit to use it.

Their second pair can be swapped for extensions that help with their tasks (eg, clawed hands for digging) and are often equipped with tools under the last cap of their finger joints, such as screw drivers, a drill, tape measure, etc as they were often also used to help at construction as they were excellent for carrying heavy materials where trucks and other vehicles couldn't reach.

Unfortunately, because of their heavy machinery, upkeep and maintenance was very important but oftentimes difficult to provide. Because of this, not many were built in the first place, so when the core exploded on copper-9, most of them were destroyed or permanently powered down. Scrap, being kept below the surface in a bunker for repair on damages, had been very jostled but managed to reboot with a big chunk of memory loss and now faulty code that went awry.

This caused a malfunction in their tasks, so she now collects anything perceived as dead. She wanders copper-9 digging through corpse piles of drones and humans alike, scavaging for anything interesting and looking for history as she explores the dead planet.

The backside port allows the third pair of appendages to slide up and down for added mobility!!

The murder drones x hollow knight au... its rotting my brain

For a little context and lore for the au let me dig up some stuff i wrote a bit ago

Alright, Cyn is a moth. Which, slight spoilers? But in game, they're generally seen as peace keepers and a nonviolent tribe. Cyn resides in the Aurelian Line palace (Aurelian literally means golden, and is often related to butterflies. The elliots are butterflies hehehe) as a maid. The palace is a grand, magnificent castle that traverses deep underground, going through several regions. It is golden, shimmering in the faint light that makes its way down below.

Humans have been long extinct, forcing their own downfall with their technological advancements, effectively killing themselves off in a war that couldn't be won. The bugs of the kingdom speak of ancient giants who used to be able to harness these powers and fell below the earth because of it.

Remnants of this technology still exist, though due to the track record, it was strictly forbidden to be interacted with and was sealed away.

It was so well kept, many considered it simply a legend, a myth and nothing more.

That is, until the Aurelian line rediscovers it. Believing they can use its power and harness it themselves, they begin meddling with the technology. Obviously, this eventually backfires lol.

The most esteemed intelligence of the palace couldn't figure out how to operate anything. It was constant trial and error. Tessa, the heir to the Aurelian palace, has a passion for science and all things technological. She has the idea to test the technology's reaction with organic material. She decides to use lifeseeds to experiment on.

Late one night in secret, Tessa sneaks out of quarters and into the dark chambers below where the technology is stored.

The initial reaction is.. bad! Or good, depending on how you look at it. It starts off as an aggressive burst of energy, the lifeseeds quickly growing corrupted as it fuses wickedly with the technology, filling the area with a viscous substance in seconds. This traps tessa in a cocoon of sorts.

The technology ends up "attatching" itself to the lifeseeds, and in turn, also all of the lifeblood. Essentially traveling as a consciousness through the root systems.

Now basically being a sort of AI, with no "OS" or vessel to operate on, it quickly surges out in the form of little corrupted lifeseeds, looking for a potential host. And of course a certain bright eyed moth is attracted to the light. To the promise of safety and power. The promise of a changed, better world. Where everyone is connected, everything is in order, everything is one.

In a matter of days, everything wickedly changes. What once was a gorgeous, lively golden castle, is now cloaked in darkness, the only light being the harsh blue glare of screens, pulsating wires and roots strewing throughout the place.

Obviously this is all very rough, its basically evil AI takeover fused with biological elements so... biomech horror >:] but bugs

Cyn and Uzi have a particularly.. interesting relationship in this AU

Their dynamic is a tedious journey of manipulation, mistrust, and gradual vulnerability with one another!! In the beginning their relationship is definitely very tense, with Uzi suspicious of any of Abso's subordinates and Cyn very manipulative and demeaning. Despite this, they do have a deep rooted respect for each other, not that either of them would admit it. It is a bit overshadowed by Cyn's manipulative tendencies and uzi's defensive hostility. Its.. not super healthy. But they still have an undeniable attraction to each other. Cyn admires Uzi's bite, and willingness to talk back to her, something few others do.

And Uzi might oddly admire Cyn's confidence, her ability to turn any situation to her advantage. She's quick on her feet and has wits, Uzi can respect that.

Uzumi, more generally known as Uzi, is quietly renowned for her innovation and knack for building weapons, which catches the attention of the head crime lord, Abso. Cyn is tasked with keeping an eye on Uzi to make sure she doesn't become a threat and is kept underway. here's a little snippet i planned for their first meeting hehe

Cyn enters the tattered workshop uninvited, leaning casually against the doorframe, smirking as she takes in the scattered tools and half-finished contraptions.

"So this is where the magic happens. I expected something... less chaotic. But then again, chaos has its charm."

Uzi, without looking up, coldly responds "If you’re here to buy, I don’t sell to Abso’s lackeys."

A harsh scoff was heard, Cyn exaggerating faux offense, "Lackey? Ouch. I like to think of myself as... freelance talent. Though, I do have a certain reputation to uphold."

Finally looking at her, unimpressed, Uzi snarls her nose "Yeah, I’ve heard. ‘Queen of Cyn.’ What, did you come up with that yourself, or was that Abso’s idea?”

Cyn chuckles, moving closer to inspect one of Uzi’s gadgets.

"You’ve got a sharp tongue, I’ll give you that. But I’m not here to pick a fight. I’m here to talk business. You and I—we’re not so different, you know." She trailed off, tracing the rough metal of the gadget, "we're both just trying to get by."

Uzi snatched the gadget out of Cyn’s hands, glaring at her, "We’re nothing alike. Now, leave before I show you how fast this thing can melt through steel."

Cyn grinned, leaning in closer "Oh, I like you."

The arcane au has been a lot of fun so far, I'm enjoying giving it its own story. >:3

Unfortunately small little update!! My mental health has been taking quite a dip and with holidays coming round, I'm just really stressed out as of late so activity may drop for a bit while I focus on myself. I got some art backed up that I'll try to be posting :3 but I'm gonna spend a couple weeks taking it slow and doing some art studies, games, etc bc my art has just been frustrating me so much!! If it had a physical vessel I'd beat the shit out of it rn tbh BUT just wanted to give a little heads up

ARCANE MURDER DRONES AU >:33

First off we have Cyn of course 🙄🙄 and some concept art I did

I'm still refining lots of stuff, but for starters I should clarify this doesn't follow MD or Arcane's story exactly; it's more its own thing but it does have parallels with both shows and characters! Cyn is clearly meant to be a parallel to Jinx but their character arcs aren't exact. Here's a small bit I had written down as a starter for her character concept;

Cynthia - goatfolk (I don't know their actual race name in the show I searched SO HARD)

Orphaned zaunite who struggles to get by with her adoptive older brother, Nathaniel. Unfortunate circumstances forced them apart, and with Cynthia believing she's been abandoned by her brother, readily runs into the arms of Abso, the head crime organizer of the undercity- responsible for the development and distribution of shimmer, who sees potential in her.

Embracing her new identity, Cyn, nicknamed the Queen of Cyn by the Lanes and other zaunites, she becomes a ruthless anarchist with little to no regards for morals. Struggling with rapidly declining mental health, unresolved trauma and a life of crime, she's always paranoid, on edge, and looking for a fight. Very unstable individual
