Something that really helped me, and might help you too, is the realisation that it's okay that you can't quite relate to how other people enjoy the faith. There's going to be things that are seemingly super popular, that you can at best trudge through. It doesn't mean that you're doing the faith 'wrong'. And if you look in the stories of the Saints, lots of them had the same issues - they struggled with praying the Rosary (or prayer in general), they struggled with being attentive during Church, or whatever else you're struggling with. Cling to what you do like and love about the faith, and be gentle with yourself about the things you struggle with. Persevering with important things in the faith is good and worthwhile, but please don't be too harsh with yourself and let it detract from your relationship with God.

Hey, don't be afraid of things that challenge your faith. Seriously, don't.

Either they'll give you a new perspective on things, or you'll become more secure and confident in your current beliefs. But avoiding the hard questions leaves you in an echo chamber with half-baked ideas and an insecurity in yourself. Step out of your comfort zone so you have room to grow.

So uh... faith the unholy trinity currently has me in a little chokehold. Specifically Amy Martin, who I've taken a lot of interest in developing her character and lowkey making an AU for her because i need this poor girl to have a somewhat happy ending i SWEAR

The unholy trinity has always had such a special place in my heart since i first discovered it- same as many people, my first exposure was through none other than MARKIPLIER 2019 and good god did i not understand the story, but i still fucking loved the series and have revisited it a couple times a year since first watching it.

I've since learned the story a ways back which made me love it even more, but only recently had i REALLY taken note of Amy's character and story arc and it just makes me so incredibly sad. Like genuinely

My heart shouldn't be giving me this much physical pain over a fictional character, yet here we are. CLASSIC. If i had a nickel for every time i obsessed over a character who got manipulated and coerced into possession, then i would have TWO NICKELS
