Hey, don't be afraid of things that challenge your faith. Seriously, don't.
Either they'll give you a new perspective on things, or you'll become more secure and confident in your current beliefs. But avoiding the hard questions leaves you in an echo chamber with half-baked ideas and an insecurity in yourself. Step out of your comfort zone so you have room to grow.

Allāh will say, "This is the Day when the truthful will benefit from their truthfulness." For them are gardens [in Paradise] beneath which rivers flow, wherein they will abide forever, Allāh being pleased with them, and they with Him. That is the great attainment.
How to attain ikhlas?
1. To remember the favour of Allah سبحانه وتعالى upon you, for this will silent Riyā from your heart and humble you, for it is Allah who has granted us hidaya
They consider it a favor to you that they have accepted Islām. Say, "Do not consider your Islām a favor to me. Rather, Allāh has conferred favor upon you that He has guided you to the faith, if you should be truthful."
^ A humbling reality Subhan Allah
2. To remember the insignificance of the people, who are these people that you are risking your akhira for? How may these people benefit you in the least? These people who will one day be buried deep and turn to dust. A governor from one of the Muslim provenances was seen walking woth arrogance, so a man told him dont walk like that Allah سبحانه وتعالى dosnt like that type of walking, the man asked him do you know who I am? He said I know who you are, You are the one who started off as a despised liquid (semen), and youre going to end uo as a rot term corpse, and between those 2 phases you carry all sorts of feces and excrement inside of your stomach.” The narrator said he stopped walking with arrogance after he heard that.
3. Hide as many of your good deeds as you can for our pious predecessors said, “ The best antidote for Ar-Riyā (showing off), is Al-Ikhfa’ ( hiding them ) scenario ; assume your public actions dont count on yawm Al qiyama, only your private ibadat, then start to measure, which is why when as man asked hudhayfa رضي الله عنه if he is from amongst the munafiqeen he asked him, “do you pray when you are alone? And do you ask Allah to forgive you when you commit a sin?” When the man replied in the affirmative he said go for Allah hasn’t made you from Al munafiqeen
4. Remember the consequences for showing off, it is a form of shirk, good deeds arent accepted on yawm Al qiyama, deeds will diminish in size, Allah will remove ease from your life, whoever shows off Allah will expose him
5. Stay away from fame, if fame comes, it is a necessary evil. Ibrahim Ibn Ahdam said, “ not true to Allah is someone who loves fame. “
6. Dua, Abu Musa رضي الله عنه reported: The Messenger of Allah صلى الله على وسلام said, “O people, beware of this idolatry, for it is more hidden than a crawling ant!” It was said, “Whomever Allah wills to say! How do we protect ourselves from it while it is more hidden than a crawling ant?” The Prophet said, “Say:
اللّهُـمَّ إِنّـي أَعـوذُبِكَ أَنْ أُشْـرِكَ بِكَ وَأَنا أَعْـلَمْ، وَأَسْتَـغْفِرُكَ لِما لا أَعْـلَم
O Allah, I seek refuge in You lest I associate anything with You knowingly, and I seek Your forgiveness for what I know not.

THE OPENING (al-Fatihah) 1. In the name of Allah, the Gracious, the Merciful. 2. Praise be to Allah, Lord of the Worlds. 3. The Most Gracious, the Most Merciful. 4. Master of the Day of Judgment. 5. It is You we worship, and upon You we call for help. 6. Guide us to the straight path. 7. The path of those You have blessed, not of those against whom there is anger, nor of those who are misguided. 2. THE HEIFER (al-Baqarah) In the name of Allah, the Gracious, the Merciful 1. Alif, Lam, Meem. 2. This is the Book in which there is no doubt, a guide for the righteous. 3. Those who believe in the unseen, and perform the prayers, and give from what We have provided for them. 4. And those who believe in what was revealed to you, and in what was revealed before you, and are certain of the Hereafter. 5. These are upon guidance from their Lord. These are the successful. 6. As for those who disbelieve—it is the same for them, whether you have warned them, or have not warned them—they do not believe. 7. Allah has set a seal on their hearts and on their hearing, and over their vision is a veil. They will have a severe torment. 8. Among the people are those who say, “We believe in Allah and in the Last Day,” but they are not believers. 9. They seek to deceive Allah and those who believe, but they deceive none but themselves, though they are not aware. 10. In their hearts is sickness, and Allah has increased their sickness. They will have a painful punishment because of their denial. 11. And when it is said to them, “Do not make trouble on earth,” they say, “We are only reformers.” 12. In fact, they are the troublemakers, but they are not aware. 13. And when it is said to them, “Believe as the people have believed,” they say, “Shall we believe as the fools have believed?” In fact, it is they who are the fools, but they do not know. 14. And when they come across those who believe, they say, “We believe”; but when they are alone with their devils, they say, “We are with you; we were only ridiculing.” 15. It is Allah who ridicules them, and leaves them bewildered in their transgression. 16. Those are they who have bartered error for guidance; but their trade does not profit them, and they are not guided. 17. Their likeness is that of a person who kindled a fire; when it illuminated all around him, Allah took away their light, and left them in darkness, unable to see. 18. Deaf, dumb, blind. They will not return. 19. Or like a cloudburst from the sky, in which is darkness, and thunder, and lightning. They press their fingers into their ears from the thunderbolts, in fear of death. But Allah surrounds the disbelievers. 20. The lightning almost snatches their sight away. Whenever it illuminates for them, they walk in it; but when it grows dark over them, they stand still. Had Allah willed, He could have taken away their hearing and their sight. Allah is capable of everything. 21. O people! Worship your Lord who created you and those before you, that you may attain piety. 1 2. THE HEIFER (al-Baqarah) 22. He who made the earth a habitat for you, and the sky a structure, and sends water down from the sky, and brings out fruits thereby, as a sustenance for you. Therefore, do not assign rivals to Allah while you know. 23. And if you are in doubt about what We have revealed to Our servant, then produce a chapter like these, and call your witnesses apart from Allah, if you are truthful. 24. But if you do not—and you will not—then beware the Fire whose fuel is people and stones, prepared for the disbelievers. 25. And give good news to those who believe and do righteous deeds; that they will have gardens beneath which rivers flow. Whenever they are provided with fruit therefrom as sustenance, they will say, “This is what we were provided with before,” and they will be given the like of it. And they will have pure spouses therein, and they will abide therein forever. 26. Allah does not shy away from making an example of a gnat, or something above it. As for those who believe, they know that it is the Truth from their Lord. But as for those who disbeliev
Did you just send me the fucking Quran

At-Taubah 9:92
Nor [is there blame] upon those who, when they came to you for you to take them along, you said, "I can find nothing upon which to carry you." They turned back while their eyes overflowed with tears out of grief that they could not find something to spend [for the cause of Allāh].
O Allah there are among Your slaves those who seek to give their lives for Your sake, O Allah there are among Your worshippers those who's hearts cut up into pieces every time they remember they have not yet been able to make their feet dusty in Your path, O Allah Your servants come to You in these blessed nights raising their palms to You, hoping for a way out, having certainty in You and expecting good from You, O Allah these believing men and women who seek a way to make hijra in Your Cause are turned away again and again by closed doors while their eyes overflowed with tears out of grief that they could not spend their time and blood in Your Cause..
Oh Allah open for them and expand the ways for them and guide them in every step to those who have preceded them upon this path in truth so that they may unite with the ansar and muhajirin to make Your Word The Highest. Oh Allah grant them thabat on this matter and protect them from misguidance and cowardice from every fearmongerer and bandit waiting for them at every corner to avert them away from Your Pleasure.
Oh Allah keep them firm in the face of the fitan of that which is beloved to them and dear to their hearts and allow them to choose You and the Paradise You promised the believers over this fleeting dunya and all that it contains of comfort and entertainment and temporary company of friends and family. Oh Allah let them seek the Home of the Hereafter and clear their vision from any doubts and confusion. Oh Allah facilitate for those who we have found nothing upon which we can carry them upon to the land of sacrifice.

Assalamualaikum, I was wondering if you had any insight on how to stop doing a sin. How do you know your repentance is sincere? I know Allah swt is all merciful and all-forgiving, and I do want to please him, but there are times when I am weak and go back. How do I stop?
Jazakallukhairun for your advice.
Muslim in this world is vulnerable to falling into sin and disobedience. What is required of him – if he does fall into sin – is to hasten to repent and seek forgiveness
Turning to Allah, may He be exalted, in supplication and beseeching Him to avert sins from him. Allah, may He be exalted, says (interpretation of the meaning): “And when My servants ask you, [O Muhammad], concerning Me - indeed I am near. I respond to the invocation of the supplicant when he calls upon Me. So let them respond to Me [by obedience] and believe in Me that they may be [rightly] guided.” [al-Baqarah 2:186] Striving to control the nafs (self, and its evil inclinations), warding off its intrusive thoughts and trying to purify it by obeying Allah. Allah, may He be exalted, says (interpretation of the meaning): “And [by] the soul and He who proportioned it, and inspired it [with discernment of] its wickedness and its righteousness, he has succeeded who purifies it, and he has failed who instills it [with corruption]” [ash-Shams 91:7-10] and “And those who strive for Us - We will surely guide them to Our ways. And indeed, Allah is with the doers of good.” [al-'Ankabut 29:69] Reflecting upon the stern warning mentioned in the hadith of Thawban quoted above, and fearing lest it apply to the one who commits those sins when he is alone.
Ibn Hajar mentioned that Qurtubi quoted 23 different definitions of true repentance (al-tawba al-nasuh) in his tafsir. Ibn Hajar mentioned the most important of these:
Umar’s words (Allah be pleased with him) that it is, “To sin and then never to return to it.”
To hate the sin, and the seek forgiveness for it every time it occurs to one, as Hasan al-Basri (Allah have mercy on him) said.
Qatada’s words (Allah have mercy on him), “To be genuine and truthful in one’s repentance,” which is what Imam Bukhari chose as the definition of true repentance in his chapter heading.
To have sincerity in one’s repentance.
To be concerned about one’s repentance not being accepted.
To be such that it does not need another repentance after it.
To be made out of fear and hope, and be accompanied by consistency in worship.
Like the seventh, but with the added condition that one desert those who assisted one in sin.

ISLAM 101: ISLAM AND OTHER RELIGIONS: DIALOGUE: Part 8
Interreligious Dialogue: Part 1
Who suggested interreligious dialogue first? Who has advocated it so far? What are the real aims of those who started it? What has been done to realize this up to now?
Let's leave these questions and similar ones aside for a moment and suppose that we come across an idea like this for the first time, and try to determine what our attitude should be against dialogue.
We should state immediately that it is not right to answer this question positively or negatively without thinking and hastily. As the followers of the only true religion in the world we are expected to answer this question as yes principally; however, what is important here is who we shall make a dialogue with.
The people to represent Muslims in these dialogues should practice the essentials of Islam exactly, should perfect their hearts, minds and all of their feelings with the beauties of this religion, and should serve as examples to people who need Islam. If they can manage it, the following conditional good news of Badiuzzaman will be realized:
If we show the perfection of the realities of belief and the Islamic ethic by our actions, the followers of other religions will embrace Islam in groups. Maybe some continents and states of the earth will embrace Islam (Tarihçe-i Hayat, 90) When the dialogue starts after we reach this point, it will be useful. Today's western community, which is seeking the truth but cannot find it because it cannot find the ideal system of belief and sample people who show it, and which retires into its shell and resorts to debauchery and faithlessness, can only meet the reality through such a dialogue. They can meet the Quran, which was sent to guide the human beings and the jinns; they can be honored to be a member of the ummah of Hazrat Muhammad (PBUH), who was sent as a mercy for all creatures.
Thus to oppose to the dialogue despite having enough accumulation of knowledge means to show Muslims as negative stereotypes who meet and talk to only each other, who do not need to give something to others who are full while their neighbors are hungry, who are so egoist as to think it as a good deed to leave the needy hungry and who are so contrary to Islam. To behave like that is a great sin.
The following divine address to the Messenger of Allah (PBUH) is as valid today: Say: "O people of the Book! come to common terms as between us and you: that we worship none but Allah; that we associate no partners with Him; that we erect not from among ourselves Lords and patrons other than Allah." (Aal-e-Imran, 64)
Now let's think like this:
Doesn't the belief of trinity still prevail in the world of Christianity? Doesn't this belief mean to accept beings other than Allah as deities, to become polytheists Since the illness continues, the address to the prophet to call others to Islam also calls today's Muslims to negotiate with the People of the Book, doesn't it? Muslims have great responsibilities to this effect as they have in other issues. As a matter of fact, public-spirited, hardworking and compassionate people with sufficient accumulation of knowledge in religious sciences are working hard and trying to convey the light of Islam to the hearts that need it and trying to take advantage of every opportunity. Interreligious dialogue can be seen as one of those opportunities.
However, the people we are negotiating may want to use the same opportunity to reach their secret aims. Here, it is very important for Muslims to be prudential.
If all of the parties have the same common cause, to find the truth and cooperate against common enemies, in the end, the Truth will predominate and the victorious party of this dialogue will be Muslims.

➠ A Testament for Those Seeking Salvation.
All praise is due to Allah, and may peace and blessings be upon the Messenger of Allah, his family, his companions, and those who follow their path until the Day of Judgment. To proceed:
This is a testament from your brother and a sincere admonition from one who loves and advises, reminding the truthful monotheists who seek nothing but the face of Allah and tread the path of the Salaf without deviation or distortion.
I advise you—may Allah have mercy on you—first and foremost to adhere to the Book and the Sunnah and to cling to the traditions of the Salaf, for they are the light that never fades and the unbreakable rope. Whoever holds fast to them is guided, and whoever deviates from them is doomed.
Beware of blind allegiance to anyone after the Imāms of the Salaf. If someone presents a view, ask: "Did any of the leading Imāms precede him in this?" If you do not find a precedent among them, then know that it is either a scholar’s mistake, a contrived ambiguity, or an innovation of an innovator.
Abandon what the later generations have introduced that lacks the light of the Salaf, for goodness lies in the early generations, truth is found in their traditions, and the final success belongs to those who follow their way.
Beware of the people of innovation—do not sit with them, listen to them, or place trust in them. They mix poison with honey and adorn falsehood in the guise of truth, leading astray those who are not granted success.
Beware of preferring reason over revelation, and of making personal experiences and rational measures the judge over the words of Allah and His Messenger. Whoever does so has strayed from the straight path, for this religion is founded upon submission and obedience, not argumentation, philosophy, and intricate theological disputes. How often has deviation begun with a newly coined phrase, which its speaker thought harmless, only for it to become a foundational principle upon which innovations and misguidance were built! So beware of carelessness in words and terminologies, and do not express yourselves except with the language of the Salaf, for therein lies safety and salvation.
Beware of belittling deviations, or viewing a minor innovation as insignificant, for the greatest trials began with slight negligence until they overwhelmed their people. Be sincere with Allah in adhering to the methodology of the Salaf, in both its major and minor aspects. Do not be deceived by the large numbers of those who oppose it, for the people of Sunnah are always few in every era, yet they are the victorious group and the saved sect. Do not let the multitude of names and titles confuse you, nor allow the various paths to divide you, for truth is one, the Sunnah is clear, and error lies in following desires and inclinations.
Be deliberate in passing judgment on opponents, and do not wrong anyone without clear evidence. Let not your classification of people be based on personal loyalties, for the Sunnah is the scale—whoever aligns with it is your ally, and whoever opposes it is your adversary.
Gradually approach refutations and advice, and do not let your concern be to bring down opponents before advising them, nor to expose their mistakes before establishing proof against them. The goal is not to defeat an opponent, but to manifest the truth. How often has a refuter himself been refuted, and how often has haste in condemnation harmed the Sunnah more than it benefited it! So let your speech be measured, your words precise, and your debate conducted in the best manner, except with one who is obstinate and arrogant.
Finally, be guides, not repellers—facilitators, not burdeners. Work with wisdom in discourse and prioritize issues appropriately, for not every truth should be stated in every situation, nor should every matter be discussed at all times. Every situation has its proper speech, and every circumstance has its due approach.
And Allah knows best. May Allah send peace and blessings upon our Prophet Muḥammad.

Assalamu Alaikum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuhu, dear brothers and sisters,
Reflect deeply on the honor and weight of being upon Tawheed and the Manhaj of the Salaf. Allah has chosen you to know the Haqq and guided you to the clear path of Qur’an and Sunnah. This is no small blessing—He has opened your heart to Tawheed and the Sunnah, to a way of life that countless others may seek but may never fully grasp. As Shaykh Uthaymeen (rahimahullah) reminds us, “Tawheed is the foundation, the root of our belief. Without it, we are lost, but with it, we have everything.”
Yet, Shaytan is relentless. He knows we are people of Tawheed, striving for the Pleasure of Allah, and his only goal is to see us falter. He whispers excuses, “Your situation makes it difficult to obey,” or “This sin is justified given your circumstances.” But remember, dear brothers and sisters, these are traps! The righteous scholars like Shaykh Al-Fawzan (hafidhahullah) and Shaykh Albani (rahimahullah) have warned us time and again—one who understands Tawheed cannot blame his sins on his surroundings. Tawheed strengthens us to rise above, to find the strength in Allah alone, regardless of our circumstances.
We are people of Iman, of understanding Qada and Qadar. Nothing happens without Allah's Will. When we slip, it is not because of the situation but our own shortcomings. It is a test for us to rise, to repent, to renew our commitment. As Shaykh Arafat and Shaykh Luhaidan have taught, Allah is Merciful, but He also loves those who struggle against their desires, those who bite onto the truth “like one bites onto his molar teeth,” as the Prophet (ﷺ) commanded.
Hold tightly to your family, your brothers and sisters upon the Manhaj of the Salaf. Strengthen one another, uplift each other, for Shaytan targets us all the more because we are upon the Haqq. Let us remind ourselves daily, as a family striving together, that our purpose is to earn the Pleasure of Allah, to meet Him with hearts clean from shirk, obedient to His commands.
Do not give Shaytan the satisfaction of seeing you falter. Show him that the people of Tawheed are strong, unwavering. Let him know that we are striving not just for ourselves but as a family, a community, that yearns to enter Jannatul Firdous together as Salafiyoon. May Allah keep us firm, forgive us our weaknesses, and unite us all in His Jannah.
Allahumma Ameen.

Jumu'ah Sohbet: 16 February 2024
This week saw so much synchronicity, miraculously in different spaces at different times within our Tariqa - leaving one to declare Subhana'Allah (Glory to the Divine) in awe! With this very message of Shaykh Taner brandished onto our spiritual hearts:
"Continue seeing the Creator in the created, and contemplate on this, and love Allah in your Shaykh because your Shaykh loves Allah in you"
Let me narrate the account, Bismillah (with the name of Allah) ...
#1. Our hearts were first seared with Haq (The Truth) through the analogy of seeking our own "Mad Glen" moment. It is where a regular homeless drunkard came to the rescue of a mother and son in the UK after the young son was invoked by the desperate and exasperated mother to simply pray. The very next moment was a knock of help, borne out of the generally disheartened mother that was always willing to see Allah in "Mad Glen" and with nothing herself, coming to his aid.
Needless to say, we know that the mother and son found emancipation in Islam, coming from a secular background. Because our Shaykh Nishaat himself met the son into his adulthood in South Africa as a Nasheed singer with the stage name of Muslim Belal. Shaykh Nishaat echoed into our consciousness that it is Allah who guides as Al-Hadi. He reminded us that in the Qur'an through the example of the Prophet Muhammad PBUH, Allah said, "You give the message, and I will guide them." So making anyone Muslim is not in our hands, but if we can live as human beings, and help those in need, we will see how it plays out! We may also have our "Mad Glen" moments, so we shouldn't treat anyone in a disparaging way.
youtube
#2. Shaykh Nishaat reminded us that we should be looking for the signs of Allah as He says in the Qur’an, "I will show you My signs in yourselves and the horizons." We should understand that Allah is not restricted to working with Muslims or so-called ones. We don't even know who Allah may consider a Muslim or an Atheist. We may look at somebody as a drug addict, drunkard, or hobo, but we don't know what is in their hearts. Poetically did Shaykh Nishaat thereafter declare that Allah veils the signs, but Sufism opens the way for us to see the signs, as the science of signs!
On that matter, your Ammu infact was "infamous" with her relationships with people in impoverished despair, which your Aunty Farzana fondly recounts. How I wouldn't shy away from asking for food that I offered the homeless - back - always seeking their reassurance that they won't throw it away. Another time, we were serving together at a community soup kitchen, and this one homeless lady was complaining, and so I admonished her, and Alhamdulillah, my admonition was appreciated by her. I proceeded to get useful career advice from her, at a time that I found no joy with the design world! It may well have later driven me into Development Studies, in the service of the poor. Shukran Ya Allah (Divine gratitude) retrospectively for the sign!
#3. Shaykh Anjum then potently reflected on what Laylatul Mi'raj means for us Sufis. Beyond being awestruck by the light of Prophet Muhammad PBUH as a paramount and pre-eminent force in creation that returned to the heavens that he came from on the same night. Personally, it is important for us because we are all going on our respective Mi'raj as we are journeying to Allah through Fanafil Shaykh, then Fanafil Rasul, and of course Fanafillah!
Mi'raj means ascension, growing up and rising. For us Sufis, it means that we are trying to ascend ourselves through knowledge, connection, spiritual exercises, Sohbets, inculcation, awareness of the signs around and within ourselves, and the understanding of our Divine purpose. This is done through our repeated focus as repeated remembrance of Allah (Zikr) as aptly translated by Shaykh Taner.
#4. Shaykh Anjum further clarified my point of worry about the prescribed numbers of Salah. We must observe the correct dosage that retains and magnifies our connection, as personally established. We are just in this world as passersby. We have to keep that mindset, holding onto our connections and focusing on Allah! He echoed undeniable Haq (Truth) when he said:
Salah is basic, and there is more that Sufis have to do! We are not part-time people. Salah is only five times a day, whereas Sufis are 24/7, 365, lifetime / Hereafter and onwards. Even after you are gone in this world, it doesn't stop! The basic tickbox of 5 rakaat Salah doesn't apply to Sufis, which is being mean and business like. We don't do business with Allah. We do love! Fana means to totally annihilate yourself. It is not a simple word.
#5. In this article, we are made to appreciate how Allah guides and how everything works together within Allah's processes and order. Just as emphasised by Shaykh Taner, we learn to see Allah in everything as His Divine signs. Our inspired brother and fellow mureed Mphutlane deeply relayed:
“I bear witness that no reality exists but Allah” I see only Allah. I know only Allah. I love only Allah. It is important for us to note that it is not us who do the witnessing and seeing. It is Allah who turns us into His witnesses. It is Allah who turns our tongues and our lives into a Testimony. It is Allah who turns us into his eyes. When we become self-righteous about our acts of faith, we miss the fact that we are not only the witnesses but that we ourselves are the witnessed. For a witness is the light that illuminates to see and therefore becomes seen in the process of seeing. Or as Rama Maharshi puts it:
“The “witness” really means the light that illumines the seer, the seen, and the process of seeing”
Therein ended the blessed, rich synchronicity across different moments in time. I am left in utter gratitude that I am afforded the ability to dive deeply, as deep as the ocean of Sufi knowledge. At a time of physical disability, humbled am I to gain spiritual wings:
Shukran Ya Allah

Embracing Truth: A Path to Divine Guidance
Be with the truth, for Allah is the truth. This profound statement, rooted in the teachings of Islam, serves as a beacon guiding believers towards a life of righteousness and inner peace. It encourages us to prioritize truth in all aspects of our lives, recognizing that Allah, the Almighty, is the ultimate source of truth.
The Essence of Truth in Islam
In Islam, truth (Haqq) is an all-encompassing concept that encompasses both the divine and the worldly realms. It is the foundation upon which the faith is built, guiding believers towards a just and equitable society. The Quran, the holy book of Islam, is considered the embodiment of divine truth, revealing the laws, morals, and wisdom of Allah.
The Importance of Seeking Truth
Seeking truth is an essential aspect of a Muslim's spiritual journey. It involves a continuous quest for knowledge and understanding, both through the study of religious texts and through personal reflection and contemplation. By seeking truth, we align ourselves with the divine will and strive to live a life that is pleasing to Allah.
The Benefits of Embracing Truth
Embracing truth brings numerous benefits, both spiritual and worldly. Some of the key advantages include:

* Inner Peace: Truthfulness fosters inner peace and tranquility. When we live in accordance with our values and beliefs, we experience a sense of harmony and contentment.
* Strong Relationships: Truthfulness strengthens relationships with others. Honesty and sincerity build trust and foster deeper connections.
* Success in This World and the Hereafter: Allah rewards those who speak the truth and uphold justice. This reward can manifest in both worldly success and eternal bliss in the hereafter.
Practical Steps to Embracing Truth
To embrace truth in our daily lives, we can take the following steps:
* Study the Quran and Sunnah: Regularly engage with the Quran and the teachings of the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) to deepen our understanding of Islamic principles.
* Seek Knowledge: Continuously seek knowledge from reliable sources to expand our understanding of the world and our faith.

"Today." From Surah 40, Ghafir, "The Cure for the Dark City."
Throughout the Quran, Muhammad lamented man does not take the easy way. It would be so easy to omit Hamas from any further discussions and bring the entire Middle East to ground. It would be so easy to follow Federal Law in America and annul the 2024 election results and put proper government personnel in place. Why have we chosen to dim the lights in the past and how we can get convince the human race to turn them back on?
About this, God gave Mo a Surah:
40: 15-32:
"˹He is˺ Highly Exalted in rank, Lord of the Throne. He sends down the revelation by His command to whoever He wills of His servants to warn ˹all˺ of the Day of Meeting—
the Day all will appear ˹before Allah˺. Nothing about them will be hidden from Him. ˹He will ask,˺ “Who does all authority belong to this Day? To Allah—the One, the Supreme!1
Today every soul will be rewarded for what it has done. No injustice Today! Surely Allah is swift in reckoning.”
Warn them ˹O Prophet˺ of the approaching Day when the hearts will jump into the throats, suppressing distress. The wrongdoers will have neither a close friend nor intercessor to be heard.
Allah ˹even˺ knows the sly glances of the eyes and whatever the hearts conceal.
And Allah judges with the truth, while those ˹idols˺ they invoke besides Him cannot judge at all. Indeed, Allah ˹alone˺ is the All-Hearing, All-Seeing.
Have they not travelled throughout the land to see what was the end of those ˹destroyed˺ before them? They were far superior in might and ˹richer in˺ monuments throughout the land. But Allah seized them for their sins, and they had no protector from Allah.
That was because their messengers used to come to them with clear proofs, but they persisted in disbelief. So Allah seized them. Surely He is All-Powerful, severe in punishment.
Indeed, We sent Moses with Our signs and compelling proof
to Pharaoh, Hamân, and Korah. But they responded: “Magician! Total liar!”
Then, when he came to them with the truth from Us, they said, “Kill the sons of those who believe with him and keep their women.” But the plotting of the disbelievers was only in vain.
And Pharaoh said, “Let me kill Moses, and let him call upon his Lord! I truly fear that he may change your traditions or cause mischief in the land.”
Moses replied, “I seek refuge in my Lord and your Lord from every arrogant person who does not believe in the Day of Reckoning.”
A believing man from Pharaoh’s people, who was hiding his faith, argued, “Will you kill a man1 ˹only˺ for saying: ‘My Lord is Allah,’ while he has in fact come to you with clear proofs from your Lord? If he is a liar, it will be to his own loss. But if he is truthful, then you will be afflicted with some of what he is threatening you with. Surely Allah does not guide whoever is a transgressor, a total liar.
O my people! Authority belongs to you today, reigning supreme in the land. But who would help us against the torment of Allah, if it were to befall us?” Pharaoh assured ˹his people˺, “I am telling you only what I believe, and I am leading you only to the way of guidance.”
And the man who believed cautioned, “O my people! I truly fear for you the doom of ˹earlier˺ enemy forces—
like the fate of the people of Noah, ’Ȃd, Thamûd, and those after them. For Allah would never will to wrong ˹His˺ servants.
O my people! I truly fear for you the Day all will be crying out ˹to each other˺—
the Day you will ˹try in vain to˺ turn your backs and run away, with no one to protect you from Allah. And whoever Allah leaves to stray will be left with no guide."
Commentary:
The Quran was given during Ramadan 1,416 years ago. That means we have had this many years to rid our world of people like Pharaoh, Korach and Haman, troublemakers and murderers whom God destroyed so the people could be free.
These are all mentioned in the Torah, and are often the mainstay of long discussions in the synagogue. Gabriel relayed these discussions which were already ancient at the time to the Prophet hoping the lore would sweep the plain free of avarice, violence, slavery, murder, and all the forms of corruption.
God did the same thing for the black man in America when He gave the Book of Mormon, He did it in India with the Bhagavad Gita.
Why did he give the Quran to the Arab, and what have you done with it? God nominated the Arab for a special award when He sent the angel to Muhammad, you need to claim it. Our governments are stalled out, they do not know what to do as they are no longer market driven. If they are to become consumer focused again, they are going to have to be made to do it.
SO kill everyone in or touched by Hamas, stop fucking around with shitty interpretations of the Quran, the Hadith and Sharia, build normal sane community institutions and live the way God explains. The above passage says God will punish those that sin and live too well while others who want to believe live in shit.
Pharaoh was right- the traditions of Moses, one called Islam are very dangerous to incompetent tyrants. So...tell everyone:
"Today every soul will be rewarded for what it has done. No injustice Today! Surely Allah is swift in reckoning.”

6:109
They swear by Allah their most solemn oaths that if a sign were to come to them, they would certainly believe in it. Say, ˹O Prophet,˺ “Signs are only with Allah.” What will make you ˹believers˺ realize that even if a sign were to come to them, they still would not believe?
6:110
We turn their hearts and eyes away ˹from the truth˺ as they refused to believe at first, leaving them to wander blindly in their defiance.
6:111
Even if We had sent them the angels, made the dead speak to them, and assembled before their own eyes every sign ˹they demanded˺, they still would not have believed—unless Allah so willed. But most of them are ignorant ˹of this˺.
6:112
And so We have made for every prophet enemies—devilish humans and jinn—whispering to one another with elegant words of deception. Had it been your Lord’s Will, they would not have done such a thing. So leave them and their deceit,
6:113
so that the hearts of those who disbelieve in the Hereafter may be receptive to it, be pleased with it, and be persistent in their evil pursuits.
6:114
˹Say, O Prophet,˺ “Should I seek a judge other than Allah while He is the One Who has revealed for you the Book ˹with the truth˺ perfectly explained?” Those who were given the Scripture know that it has been revealed ˹to you˺ from your Lord in truth. So do not be one of those who doubt.
6:115
The Word of your Lord has been perfected in truth and justice. None can change His Words. And He is the All-Hearing, All- Knowing.
6:116
˹O Prophet!˺ If you were to obey most of those on earth, they would lead you away from Allah’s Way. They follow nothing but assumptions and do nothing but lie.
6:117
Indeed, your Lord knows best who has strayed from His Way and who is ˹rightly˺ guided.
6:118
So eat only of what is slaughtered in Allah’s Name if you truly believe in His revelations.
6:119
Why should you not eat of what is slaughtered in Allah’s Name when He has already explained to you what He has forbidden to you—except when compelled by necessity? Many ˹deviants˺ certainly mislead others by their whims out of ignorance. Surely your Lord knows the transgressors best.
6:120
Shun all sin—open and secret. Indeed, those who commit sin will be punished for what they earn.
6:121
Do not eat of what is not slaughtered in Allah’s Name. For that would certainly be ˹an act of˺ disobedience. Surely the devils whisper to their ˹human˺ associates to argue with you.[1] If you were to obey them, then you ˹too˺ would be polytheists.
[1] Because Muslims are allowed to eat the meat of animals slaughtered properly and not carrion, the pagans of Mecca used to argue, “Why are you only allowed to eat what you yourselves kill but not what Allah causes to die?”
6:122
Can those who had been dead, to whom We gave life and a light with which they can walk among people, be compared to those in complete darkness from which they can never emerge?[1] That is how the misdeeds of the disbelievers have been made appealing to them.
[1] The Quran often compares disbelief to death and blindness whereas belief is compared to life and the ability to see.
6:123
And so We have placed in every society the most wicked to conspire in it. Yet they plot only against themselves, but they fail to perceive it.
6:124
Whenever a sign comes to them, they say, “We will never believe until we receive what Allah’s messengers received.” Allah knows best where to place His message. The wicked will soon be overwhelmed by humiliation from Allah and a severe punishment for their evil plots.
6:125
Whoever Allah wills to guide, He opens their heart to Islam.[1] But whoever He wills to leave astray, He makes their chest tight and constricted as if they were climbing up into the sky. This is how Allah dooms those who disbelieve.
[1] Islam literally means ‘submission to the Will of Allah.’
6:126
That is your Lord’s Path—perfectly straight. We have already made the signs clear to those who are mindful.
6:127
They will have the Home of Peace with their Lord, Who will be their Guardian because of what they used to do.
6:128
˹Consider˺ the Day He will gather them ˹all˺ together and say, “O assembly of jinn! You misled humans in great numbers.” And their human associates will say, “Our Lord! We benefited from each other’s company,[1] but now we have reached the term which You appointed for us.” ˹Then˺ He will say, “The Fire is your home, yours to stay in forever, except whoever Allah wills to spare.”[2] Surely your Lord is All-Wise, All-Knowing.
[1] For example, the jinn helped humans with magic, while the jinn had a feeling of importance when they had a human following.
[2] i.e., disobedient Muslims. They will be punished according to the severity of their sins, but eventually no Muslim will stay in Hell forever.
6:129
This is how We make the wrongdoers ˹destructive˺ allies of one another because of their misdeeds.
6:130
˹Allah will ask,˺ “O assembly of jinn and humans! Did messengers not come from among you, proclaiming My revelations and warning you of the coming of this Day of yours?” They will say, “We confess against ourselves!” For they have been deluded by ˹their˺ worldly life. And they will testify against themselves that they were disbelievers.
6:131
This ˹sending of the messengers˺ is because your Lord would never destroy a society for their wrongdoing while its people are unaware ˹of the truth˺.
6:132
They will each be assigned ranks according to their deeds. And your Lord is not unaware of what they do.
6:133
Your Lord is the Self-Sufficient, Full of Mercy. If He wills, He can do away with you and replace you with whoever He wills, just as He produced you from the offspring of other people.
6:134
Indeed, what you have been promised will certainly come to pass. And you will have no escape.
6:135
Say, ˹O Prophet,˺ “O my people! Persist in your ways, for I ˹too˺ will persist in mine. You will soon know who will fare best in the end. Indeed, the wrongdoers will never succeed.”

HOW TO MAKE TAWBAH OR REPENTANCE (CONFESSION) TO ALLAH (SUBHANAHU WA TA’ALA)
.
In the name of Allah, We praise Him, seek His help and ask for His forgiveness. Whoever Allah guides none can misguide, and whoever He allows to fall astray, none can guide them aright.
We bear witness that there is no one (no idol, no person, no grave, no prophet, no imam, no da’i, nobody)! worthy of worship but Allah Alone, and we bear witness that Muhammad(saws) is His slave-servant and the seal of His Messengers.
Whatever deeds one might have done, if one turns to Allah Subhanahu wa Ta'ala in sincere Taubah and seeks forgiveness, Allah Subhanahu wa Ta'ala has promised in the Holy Quran that He will forgive all the sins of such a believer.
Not only that, our Lord is so Merciful and Generous, that He not only will forgive the sins of the believer, He will change his evil deeds done into good deeds!
The conditions or way to seek sincere Taubah or Repentance from the Merciful Lord is:
One is aware that he has sinned, and feels sorry and ashamed at his sin.
Makes a solemn covenant and promise with Allah that he will not repeat his sin again.
Turns to Allah and seeks forgiveness, before he has met with his appointment of death.
Is a believer and does righteous good deeds.
Allah says in the Holy Quran Chapter 39 Surah Zumur verses 53-54:
\
(O Prophet) say: O My servants who have wronged their own souls.Do not despair of Allahs Mercy! Surely, Allah forgives all sins. He indeed is the All Forgiving, All Merciful. Return to your Lord and submit to Him before the scourge overtakes you; for then you may get no help from anywhere.
Allah says in the Holy Quran Chapter 3 Surah Ale Imraan verse 135-136:
Allah likes such good people very much, who, if ever they commit a base deed or wrong their own soul by the commission of a sin, remember Allah instantly, and ask for forgiveness from Him for their shortcomings. For who, but Allah, can forgive sins? (And Allah loves those) who do not knowingly persist in the wrongs they did.
These will be rewarded with forgiveness from Allah, and with Gardens beneath which canals flow, and they will reside therein forever! How excellent is the reward of those who do good deeds!
Allah says in the Holy Quran Chapter 25 Surah Furqaan verses 63-71:
The (true) servants of the Merciful are those who walk humbly on the earth. When the ignorant people behave insolently towards them, they say, Peace to you; (And those) who pass their nights in prostrating themselves and standing before their Lord and pray, O our Lord, save us from the torment of Hell, for its torment is killing!
It is an evil abode, and an evil resting place. (And those) who, when they spend are neither extravagant, nor miserly, but keep the golden mean between the two extremes. (And those) who do not invoke any god but Allah Alone, nor kill a soul unjustly, which Allah has forbidden, nor commit adultery
He who does this shall be punished for his sin, and his torment shall be doubled on the Day of Resurrection, and he shall abide in a state of ignominy; EXCEPT THE ONE WHO MAY HAVE REPENTED (AFTER THOSE SINS), AND HAVE BELIEVED AND DONE RIGHTEOUS DEEDS.
For then, Allah will change his evil deeds into good deeds, and He is very Forgiving and Merciful. In fact, one who repents and does righteous deeds, returns to Allah as one rightly should!
Allah says in the Holy Quran Chapter 6 Surah An’aam verse 54:
When those come to you who believe in Our Signs, say: "Peace be on you! Your Lord had inscribed for Himself (the rule of) Mercy. Verily if any of you did evil in ignorance, and thereafter repented and amended (his conduct), Lo! He is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful."
Whatever written of Truth and benefit is only due to Allahs Assistance and Guidance, and whatever of error is of me. Allah Alone Knows Best and He is the Only Source of Strength.
Making Tawbah or what’s known as Salat al Tawbah is one of the greatest acts of good that we as humans can do in order to relieve ourselves of the burden of our own wrongdoings. We all fall into sin. Lets be honest. Allah is the one that created us and he knew that we would fall into sin.
Which is why he describes himself as The Most Merciful God throughout the Quran. It’s important that you understand that Allah has described himself as The Most Merciful, so that you know his mercy is far greater than his anger.
So the question remains how do you do Salat Al Tawbah (the prayer of repentance)? You can follow the simple instructions that the Prophet (Peace Be upon him) gave us, which is to offer 2 Rakat Nafl Prayer, the optional prayer.
Then seek the forgiveness by asking for Allah’s forgiveness in Dua. Pre-requisite to tawbah is that you are in a state of ritual ablution or Wudu and that you are remorseful about transgressing the bounds of Allah.
It has been reported that Abu bakr (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated that the Prophet (peace be upon him said): “There is no one who commits a sin, then purifies himself and stands in Salah and offers two raka’at and seeks forgiveness, except that Allah will forgive him

Maktab Shar3i:
After praising Allah and exalting Him, and sending blessings and peace upon the best of creation, Muhammad ﷺ , we say, seeking help from Allah, the Forbearing, the Bestower:
Allah Ta’Ala said: “And those who strive for Us - We will surely guide them to Our ways. And indeed, Allah is with the doers of good."
Know, may Allah guide us and you to the truth and keep us steadfast upon it, that it is necessary to affirm the following:
First: It is possible that there exists a group or groups in Sham and elsewhere who are upon Islam and conceal their state, who have not committed any clear and explicit act of riddah.
Second: Fighting against the Jama’a of Muslims -may Allah honour it- without the presence of a kufri form of tawalli (allegiance) or fighting to prevent the implementation of Shariah is considered transgression and oppression. In this case, some may be sinful for doing it while others may be excused due to the existence of Shubuhaat (doubts/suspicions)
Third: The issue of abandoning Bayah and refraining from fighting under the banner of the State -may Allah honor it- is caused by either the lack of acknowledgment of the caliphate, or by doubts on whether it was established by the bay'ah from the people of hall &Aqd (authority and decision) or by force, or not, which falls into two categories:
1. Those who believe that the appointment of the caliph did not meet the Shar’i conditions, whether due to objections against the people of Hall and ‘Aqd ( authority and decision ) or against the Khalifa himself -may Allah have mercy on him- or due to timing, the requirement of tamkeen, and other doubts. Such a person is excused until the truth is made clear to him with evidence. If the truth becomes evident to him, then he is sinful for not believing in the legitimacy of the Bayah and for not fighting under the banner. His fighting, in this case, has elements of ignorance.
2. Those who believe in the legitimacy of the Khalifa’s appointment but refuse to obey due to partisanship to a group, desire for a position, or other reasons—such a person is a Baghy (rebel). His fighting and banner are based on nationalism and ignorance, even if he declares that he seeks to implement the Shariah.
Fourth: In our contemporary reality, it is not a condition for the validity of Bayah to openly declare it due to considerations of benefit, given the unified fighting of all forms of kufr against the Jama’a of Muslims -may Allah honour it- Indeed, it is prudent for those whose situation is like that of these factions to keep their allegiance secret.
The matter of Bay’ah is, first and foremost, to Allah Ta’Ala, in obedience to His command and the command of His Prophet ﷺ. Allah Ta’Ala said: "And hold firmly to the rope of Allah all together and do not become divided. And remember the favor of Allah upon you - when you were enemies and He brought your hearts together and you became, by His favor, brothers. And you were on the edge of a pit of the Fire, and He saved you from it. Thus does Allah make clear to you His verses that you may be guided."
And Allah Knows best.

Ayah
Maarif ul Quran
Author: Mufti Muhammad Shafi
Surah No. 6 الأنعام
Ayah No. 125
Translation:
So, whom Allah wills to give guidance, He opens his heart for Islam, and whom He wills to go astray, He makes his heart narrow, much too narrow, as though he climbs up to the sky. In this way, Allah brings ignominy over those who do not believe.
Commentary:
Signs of Sharh al-Sadr in Din
Some signs of the Divinely-guided, and the firm on error, have been given in the third verse (125). Said there was: فَمَن يُرِدِ اللَّـهُ أَن يَهْدِيَهُ يَشْرَحْ صَدْرَهُ لِلْإِسْلَامِ (So, whom Allah wills to give guidance, He opens his heart for Islam).
Hakim in al-Mustadrak and Baihaqi in Shuab al-Iman report from Sayyidna ` Abdullah ibn Masud (رض) : When this verse was revealed, the Companions of the Holy Prophet ﷺ requested him to explain the meaning of Sharh al-Sadr, the opening of the heart for Islam. He said: ` Allah Ta` ala puts a light in the heart of a believer through which his heart opens up for the perception, understanding and acceptance of truth. The Sahabah submitted: ` Is there a sign which will help recognize the person who has such Sharh al-Sadr? He said: ` Yes! The sign is that Akhirah and its blessings become the object of all his desires. He avoids uncalled-for desires and fleeting enjoyments and starts getting ready for death before it comes.
After that, he said: " وَمَن يُرِدْ أَن يُضِلَّهُ يَجْعَلْ صَدْرَهُ ضَيِّقًا حَرَجًا كَأَنَّمَا يَصَّعَّدُ فِي السَّمَاءِ " (and whom He wills to let go astray, He makes his heart narrow, much too narrow [ wherefore, for him to accept the truth and to act in accordance with it becomes as difficult ], as though he climbs up to the sky).
Kalabi has said: ` the narrowing of his heart means that no passage for the entry of truth and good remains open there. A similar explanation has also been reported from Sayyidna Faruq al-Azam (رض) and Sayyidna ` Abdullah ibn ` Abbas (رض) has said: ` When he hears the ذِکر Dhikr of Allah, he feels being harassed and when he listens to what is Kufr and Shirk, his heart relishes it.
The Noble Sahabah: Ever-Eager Receivers of Truth
This was the reason why the noble Sababah, may Allah be pleased with all of them, who were chosen by Allah Ta` ala to be His Prophets companions in faith, and to be the learners and carriers of his teachings as his direct disciples. They were so convinced as his adherents that their doubts about Islamic injunctions, if any, remained negligibly low. During their whole lifetime, the number of questions presented before the Holy Prophet ﷺ by them are but a counted few. The reason was that by the grace of the company of the Holy Prophet ﷺ their hearts were almost engraved with love and reverence for Allah Ta` ala and because of which they were blessed with the high station of Sharh al-Sadr, a heart open to the acceptance of truth. In fact, their hearts had become in themselves the very standard of truth and falsehood. They would accept truth promptly and falsehood could not find entry into their hearts. After that, as the distance from the blessed period of the Holy Prophet ﷺ increased, doubts and scruples started finding room for infilteration and that was the be-ginning of dogmatic differences.
To Remove Doubts : Open Hearts, Narrow Debates
In our day, the world is a stage infested with doubts. People seek solutions through debates, arguments and counter-arguments and end up with confusion worse confounded. This is not a sound way to handle doubts as pointed out by the unique Indian poet, Akbar Ilahabadi:
فلسفی کو بحث کے اندر خدا ملتا نہیں ڈور کو سلجھا رہا ہے پرسرا ملتا نہیں
The philosopher deep in debate cannot find God
He is untangling the string but cannot find where to begin!
There is only one way out, that which was taken by the blessed Companions (رض) and by the early righteous elders: Think of the perfect power of Allah Ta` ala and imagine His blessings and feel the presence of His love and reverence, the doubts evaporate automatically. This is the reason why the Quran has itself prompted the Holy Prophet ﷺ to make the following Du` a (prayer):
رَبِّ اشرَح لِی صَدرِی
Rabbishralh li sadri
0 my Rabb, open my heart.
At the end of the verse it was said: كَذَٰلِكَ يَجْعَلُ اللَّـهُ الرِّجْسَ عَلَى الَّذِينَ لَا يُؤْمِنُونَ which means that this is how Allah brings damnation and disgrace upon those who do not believe. For truth, their hearts are not open while to every evil they dash.

Reflecting on the Majesty of Allah in Ramadan's Last Ten Days: Exploring the Profound Impact of Surah Al-Mulk

As the holy month of Ramadan progresses, Muslims around the world eagerly anticipate its final ten days, often regarded as the most spiritually significant period of the entire month. Within these days lies the third Ashra, a time dedicated to seeking refuge, forgiveness, and salvation. It is during these final days that believers intensify their prayers, supplications, and reflections, seeking to draw closer to their Creator and prepare themselves for the culmination of Ramadan – the blessed Day of Eid. Among the various acts of worship and contemplation, one particular practice holds immense significance: the recitation and reflection upon Surah Al-Mulk from the Quran.
Surah Al-Mulk, the 67th chapter of the Quran, consists of thirty verses that beautifully encapsulate the sovereignty and majesty of Allah. It serves as a poignant reminder of His supreme authority over all creation and the inevitability of the Day of Judgment. In the context of Ramadan's final ten days, delving into the depths of Surah Al-Mulk holds profound implications for believers seeking to deepen their spiritual awareness and prepare for the Hereafter.
Contemplating the verses of Surah Al-Mulk during the third Ashra of Ramadan provides a unique opportunity for believers to immerse themselves in the awe-inspiring majesty of Allah. The Surah begins with the declaration, "Blessed is He in whose hand is the dominion, and He is over all things competent" (Quran 67:1). This verse immediately sets the tone, affirming Allah's sovereignty and power as the Creator and Sustainer of the universe. It invites believers to reflect on the vastness and complexity of creation, recognizing the divine wisdom inherent in every aspect of existence.
As believers delve deeper into Surah Al-Mulk, they encounter vivid descriptions of the heavens and the earth, the celestial bodies, and the intricate design of the universe. Verses such as "Who created death and life to test you [as to] which of you is best in deed" (Quran 67:2) serve as a reminder of the transient nature of life and the profound purpose behind every trial and tribulation. This reflection prompts believers to reassess their priorities, striving to align their actions with the divine will and seeking excellence in all aspects of their lives.
Moreover, Surah Al-Mulk contains verses that vividly depict the Day of Judgment and the accountability of humankind before their Creator. The Surah warns of the fate of those who reject the truth and persist in disbelief, while also offering hope and mercy to those who turn to Allah in repentance. This juxtaposition of divine justice and mercy serves as a catalyst for believers to seek forgiveness and redemption during Ramadan's final days, recognizing their dependence on Allah's infinite grace and compassion.
In the hustle and bustle of daily life, it is easy for believers to lose sight of the bigger picture – the ultimate purpose of their existence and the reality of the Hereafter. However, the last ten days of Ramadan provide a golden opportunity to pause, reflect, and realign one's priorities with the eternal truths revealed in the Quran. Surah Al-Mulk serves as a guiding light, illuminating the path towards spiritual enlightenment and moral rectitude.
In conclusion, reflecting on the majesty of Allah through the verses of Surah Al-Mulk during Ramadan's last ten days is a transformative experience that deepens one's awareness of divine sovereignty and prepares believers for the Day of Judgment. It is a time of introspection, repentance, and renewal, as believers strive to draw closer to their Creator and attain His pleasure. As we immerse ourselves in the profound wisdom of the Quran, may we emerge from Ramadan spiritually rejuvenated, with hearts full of faith and minds enlightened by divine guidance.
