And how four sometimes accidentally thinks the same way or similarly to a monster or dark mage

Wind considers himself a master criminal but the second four opens his mouth

He has to tune him out for his own sake

And remaining innocents (he literally can’t even comprehend most things four implies because he still is a kid)

(I’m about to get mushy, so beware) Picking a quote from this series for my graduation cap was a no-brainer for me. This series has had an insane impact on my life, to the point where I genuinely don’t know where I’d be without it. From first picking Carry On up the week I turned 15, to having to physically restrain myself from reading WS in one sitting because it was my first hard week of college as a freshman, to reading AWTWB in one sitting the day it released despite being on a family vacation. From starting a sideblog, to making art and fics about it with my sister, and to looking through art or fics when I was having a panic attack to help me calm down. To the amazing community I’ve found online with the most talented and kind people I’ve ever had the pleasure of meeting. My life has been fundamentally changed for the better because I decided to pick up Carry On in January 2016, and I wouldn’t change it for the world.

Remember when I said that, canonical wise only Wind would know anything about the Hero of Time?

Well…it turns out Four also knows about the Hero of Time.

The Hero of Time had been foretold back in the Era of Chaos, leading to Rauru building the Temple of Time and sealing himself away till the events of Ocarina of Time.

Minish Cap takes places two Eras later in The Force Era. The Temple of Time should be in Four’s Castle Town just as well maintain as in Time’s Castle Town. What also means that Four probably heard of the prophecy at some point.

It’s also implied by Zelda’s dialogue in one of the memories in BOTW, and the Hero of Time set, that in some point the legend resurfaces back in Hyrule. Which would mean that Wild should know of Time as a hero, but since there are two versions of said story most people probably brushed it off as an actual fairy tale.

One point would be that, after Oot, the Master Sword had always been hidden somewhere inside the Lost Woods. The Tempel of Time in Botw and Totk doesn’t have a sword chamber. Which could also be a clever hint/easter egg, that the Temple of Time from Botw and Totk could be the same from Wind Waker.

The original Temple is already decayed millennials ago, being just ruins by the time of the Hero of Twilight. The same may have happened in the downfall timeline, since the sword is also found in the Lost Woods.

It’s funny to think of how the timeline would affect how hylians in the Era of Myth and Wild Era see their own history.

four swords atla au. the four are all the avatar split up somehow for magic reasons and meet each other when they're called to do some world saving shit. shadow is the anti-avatar and can only do the specialty subversions of each bending style (bloodbending, lavabending, lightning generation, and that thing in lok where the airbender suffocated the earth queen). blue is a waterbender who does great with ice, you can figure out red's deal, green is an airbender, and vio is a metalbender. it writes itself tbh

Between the Colours Ensemble, I think Spirit would get along with Vio and Shadow the best, they'd all share a singular braincell and it's constantly trying to pull itself in three different directions at any given moment

Shadow is a fucking menace of massive destruction

Fanfic prompt: The chain is telling eachother about their adventures and at some point they got to the point of dark or shadow links

And while everyone is considering their shadow or dark links the most dangerous

Four just one ups them all because shadow is a menace to society and genuinely insane

Like “my shadow link destroyed all of Hyrule in like a day or two ,a week at most he kidnapped my Zelda and forced me to remove a sword that was sealing one of my villains and essentially made me fight three villains at once him included and that isn’t even the worst of it”

The chain *thinking* : “how are you still alive with such a monstrosity running rampant”

Four continuing without noticing anyone being disturbed: “ he stole even more maidens from their shrines and burned down almost every single village and town he was also scaring the novice soldiers and possessed my dad while THE ARMY WAS TURNED against me because he impersonated me and racked up a high enough destruction count for my immediate execution not forgetting the fact that most of them were already under mind control”

The chain : “how did you kill somebody like him”

Four: “I gaslit him because he luckily had one weakness I could exploit pretending to be evil and all that stuff so when I killed him

he didn’t get the message and was still terrorizing me but now he was upset and not just sadistic so he tied me to a stake and set it on fire”

The chain *internally* : “WTF WTF WTF WTF how is he not dead”

Four still talking: “I somehow miraculously got saved and the only reason why I won was because he destroyed his one weak point and thereby helped me defeat the other villain and both died but he still didn’t accept that so he came back to life AGAIN (ignoring to tell that it was me who brought him back)

Four : “we decided to give up on fighting and now he stays with us because he is the most difficult to kill creature in the whole entire world and that way me and Zelda can keep an eye on him”

The chain: “man and we thought our darks were bad yours sounds like a nightmare”

Four realizing something: “I forgot to tell you about his massive bombs ,his dragons and his hammer strong enough to give me a concussion from several feet again”

The chain: “THERE IS MORE…!!,!?!.!.!!.?!

Warriors * hesitant* : “Cia probably still could be worse right…?”

Four : “maybe but he also was always in my personal space and I couldn’t tell him to get the fuck away from me because I had to befriend him pretty sure the only reason he isn’t the second coming of Cia is because he wasn’t interested in a sexual relationship”

The chain: “how is your dark side capable of one upping over four of our most vile and evil enemies without even trying”

Four : “pretty sure it’s the purple hair … that is a clear sign of evil”

I don't think this counts but I did like using the Bomb Rune alot in BotW. And Bomb Flowers in TotK (I guess I just like blowing things up).

SkSw on the other hand I think it be the Beetle cause I recall using that one the most in my playthroughs

I think maybe a Rito. I really their designs in BotW/TotK. Plus flying sounds more fun & convenient to me.
