The roar of the crowd, the crystal clear sky, the bright red Ferrari starting next to Lewis on the front row – all of it was pushed out of his mind the second he flipped his visor down. Once all the mechanics had scuttled off the track Lewis lead the formation lap away and made the usual changes on his steering wheel in-between weaving the car down the straights. Lewis loved Montreal for so many reasons, and he wasn’t going to let anyone get in the way between him and his sixth win at the circuit. The team’s overnight simulations had predicted that it was going to be a close race between themselves and Ferrari. Lewis was going to do everything he could to make sure that wasn’t the case.
