Hmm.

In-universe, I think the closest to a running joke Dusk's friends have about him is how any time he does anything to help anyone, there's a good chance it's going to escalate into something far more important than anyone expected. And let's be honest: the Warrior of Light comes by that expectation honestly after a while.

OUT of universe ...

The vampire jokes are unending! I find it pretty funny that Dusk being a vampire is either the worst kept secret OR the most widespread baseless conspiracy theory in my various internet groups, and it really makes me reluctant to confirm or deny anything for real. <3

The other running joke is that whenever Dusk looks kind of blank in his cutscenes, it's because he hears the Wii theme, and it's distracted him.

I can't really blame them.

meeting done. i got an offer to work with their education studio. the rest is tbd as it turns out it was more of an interview than anything else.

(however, based on said interview, it sounds like they’re considering offering me a combination assistant director/stage manager position on something? not sure, we’ll see whenever they make those decisions)
