🟣Chaos Dragon Slayer AU🟣 Part 21

This time, there is Laxus's team! They usually try not to get involved with Natsu unless it is necessary to avoid conflict. Natsu still has resentment with Laxus after the battle of fairy tail arc. As time goes on, they at least have a good relationship after Laxus's redemption arc.

Natsu and Laxus would have sparring sessions together if they're not busy with missions, but rarely.

Natsu and Gray still fought but were not as aggressive since Natsu was relatively stronger than Gray, and he always held back. But they never shy away to insult each other openly. That's for sure 😂 Erza definitely gave up to separate them since they will go at it again, hahahahhaa.

Nalu tends to argue over the smallest of things, and the guild members just look at them, as if they're having a lovers quarrel (they don't actually)

This is the second last part of my au so far. I will not continue this au unless I have some inspirations and need to draw it. I need to focus on other projects. Therefore, my version of Chaos au will stop at part 22, and there will be more parts, just not soon.

I wanna thank you guys so much for following this au of mine, in my own version. Even though these stories do not have a proper flow. I had so much fun drawing this series as it is one of my favourites (I'm obsessed, and that is worrisome 😅) look forward for the last part next Friday 😆

The Haunted Mansion (My Version)

My own version of the Haunted Mansion that takes combined elements from all the rides, movie and special adaptations, and even deleted concepts, while crossing over with Fairy Tail and Eden's Zero. Also Zeref has no biological relation to Natsu.

It all began with Mavis, the beautiful daughter of a wealthy nobleman from the West who was blessed with great spirit and heart. She lived a life of luxury but also one of neglect, her parents hardly paid her any attention. The closest she had to a father figure was the generous landowner from New Orleans Makarov and her only friend was Zeref the young groundskeeper of her household. Of course Zeref and Mavis fell in love but her family refused to let them marry, they had already promised her hand to the rich sea captain Hades. Zeref was dismissed and Mavis was forbidden to see him again however the affair had caused her to become pregnant and later give birth to a baby girl. Wanting to cover up their daughter's loss of virginity outside of wedlock to preserve the arranged marriage, her parents immediately snatched the child from her mother's arms and gave her away to be raised solely by her father. Mavis was heartbroken.

Broken-hearted as well but desperate to support his daughter, Zeref left the West, traveling down South to New Orleans in hopes of finding a better life for them. Along the way he met a orphaned boy who had escaped the workhouse, starving and frail. Zeref nursed him back to health and took him in so his daughter could have someone to tend to her and make her smile in place of her mother. Upon arriving in New Orleans, he ran into Makarov and told him his story, but with held the truth of who the mother of his child was. Makarov was sympathetic, he hired Zeref and allowed him to live and raise the two children in his household, a glorious mansion that was unlike any that had ever been built before. The boy was called Natsu and Zeref's daughter was named Juvia.

Natsu and Juvia were raised to one day work as servants but they were also given the privilege of being schooled alongside a neighborhood boy called Jellal, the servants’s children Evergreen, Bickslow, Freed, Mest, and the musical prodigy Gajeel, and Makarov's three orphaned grandchildren who he had had been made guardian of. Laxus the abandoned child of Marakov's son, Erza who is clairvoyant, and Gray who is rebellious. The eleven children grow up together in the mansion, becoming the best of friends.

Meanwhile back in the West, Mavis is forced to marry Hades and she later has a daughter called Lucy. Mavis is unhappy in her marriage but loves Lucy and plans a decent future for her, giving her the best education and working with Makarov to secure a suitable marriage for her. An example being that earlier,  before her wedding to Hades, the two agreed that if Mavis's first child was born a girl then she should marry Makarov's grandson Gray once they reached proper age.

However despite her devotion to Lucy, Mavis never forgets about Juvia and will occasionally receive letters from Zeref with updates on her other child. Tragically though, one day Hades intercepts a letter and assumes Mavis is cheating on him. So he killed her and staged it as a suicide, and when poor Zeref learned of her death, he dropped dead of a broken heart. Lucy, Juvia, and Natsu were left devastated.  After her mother's passing, Lucy was neglected by her father and the only thing she was allowed to do was study and learn how to one day be a proper bride. But she had friends, three cousins on her mother's side Mirajane, Elfman, and Lisanna, her school mate bookish Levy, and Cana the daughter of her house's majordomo, who also has the gift of clairvoyance.

Years pass, both Mavis's daughters grow into exceptionally beautiful young women, with Lucy inheriting their mother's great spirit, being vivacious, strong-willed, and independent while Juvia inherits their mother's great heart, being kind, gentle, and demure. When Lucy turns eighteen, she, her father, her servants, her cousins, and her friends travel to New Orleans for her to marry Gray. Gray is handsome, gentlemanly, and has a rebel streak but he and Lucy don't really have a romantic connection. This being because he is secretly, deeply, and madly in love with Juvia and later during Lucy's stay she finds herself falling for the equally handsome, mocking, but charming new groundskeeper Natsu. 

Now it just so happens that Hades is a secret pirate who married Mavis only for her money but that fortune is now running low, and Makarov's family had enough money to sustain him for years. Desperate to ensure that everything would go according to plan, he forces the clairvoyant Cana and Erza to tell him of his daughter's future and they reveal Lucy's romance with Natsu and that Gray and Juvia are planning to run away together. They also reluctantly reveal that Juvia is actually Mavis's daughter by Zeref and she was her first born child meaning technically Juvia should be the one marrying Gray. But because Hades is not her father, he won't get a dime of Gray's fortune should they marry. 

 To stop the lovers, he uses witchcraft to make Lucy hate Natsu and to poison Juvia, leaving behind a false note that she never loved Gray and took her own life.But this back fires on him drastically for Gray is driven so mad with grief that he hangs himself and the hate spell on Lucy proves to be so strong that she chopped off Natsu's head, causing her to be arrested and executed. This tragedy shatters both families, friends, and staff members, leaving a lasting effect that doesn't fade even when others knew happier times such as the marriage and families of Jellal and Erza, Gajeel and Levy, and Laxus and Mirajane. But it was Mavis's spirit who was most effected,  furious with this terrible injustice inflicted upon her children, she cursed everyone within the mansion to wander the earth after death until the truth was known, until the one responsible was punished, and until the lovers were rightfully reunited. A prophecy is written, that the descendants of the tragedy will set them free.

The mansion is abandoned with many people being too scared of the legends and the curse to even consider being near it. But decades later, Rebecca and her younger sister Copa who are direct descendants of Jellal and Erza, move to New Orleans and inherit the old mansion after the death of their parents. Rebecca intends to turn it into a Bed and Breakfast but shortly after moving in she discovers that it's haunted by ghosts. Particularly by Natsu the deranged and vengeful Hat Box Ghost, Gray the traumatized and embittered Master of the house, and Lucy the psychotic and still hexed Attic Bride.

She hires paranormal investigator Shiki who is a direct descendant of Gajeel and Levy, and his exorcist partner Weisz who is a direct descendant of Laxus and Mirajane. Together they work with the legendary medium spirit Madame Erza, the Ghost Host Jellal, and the amnesic Beating-Heart Bride Juvia to break the curse and help the spirits move on. One problem though, every ghost in the mansion is either completely insane or has no memory of anything that happened before they died, due to Hades casting his own curse on the mansion.

Fun at Ryuzetsu Land (Juvia x Lucy x Evergreen)

The hot, summer sun beat down on the group of mages who walked into Ryuzetsu Land, all relieved to finally jump into the refreshing water of the giant water park. Natsu cheered, "yeah, glorious water!" 

He and Happy bounded toward a nearby pool, only to both be grabbed by Erza, who scolded as she dragged them back to the group, "not yet!" 

Natsu whined when Gray sighed, "you can't swim in your clothes, flame brain." 

The Fire Dragon Slayer then jumped away from Erza and took Gray's shirt into his hand, pulling him closer to growl, "you wanna go, ice princess?" 

A hit on the head from Erza on each of them caused the two conflicting mages to back away from each other, fearfully obeying the redhead as she chided them for their childish behavior. Lucy rolled her eyes and looked at the other mages with them. Bixlow was annoying Freed, who looked like he was seconds away from punching his friend. Laxus was listening to a song on his sound pods, the music was loud enough for the others to hear, but muffled to the point that the lyrics couldn't be made out. Levy and Gajeel were discussing what they wanted to do first, Lily interjecting that he wanted to get some kiwi juice from one of the restaurants. Mira and Lisanna were flipping through a pamphlet that showed everything the park had to offer. Wendy and Carla were standing off to the side, the girl patiently waiting and the exceed looking exasperated. Lastly, Lucy's eyes fell on her two girlfriends, Evergreen and Juvia. The two women were watching Erza scold Natsu and Gray, their arms crossed over their chests and amusement in their eyes. 

Lucy smiled as she made her way over. Evergreen rolled her eyes and muttered, "I don't think it's too late to ditch those two to fend for themselves." 

Lucy giggled and Juvia responded, "I can't say that I'm opposed." 

Levy then skipped over to the three girlfriends and asked, "Gajeel and I are planning to go get snowcones, wanna come with?" 

Lucy looked at her girlfriends. Juvia smiled, "that sounds good." 

Evergreen agreed with a nod and Lucy gave her own confirming answer. Levy smiled at them before she made her way to Erza and informed her of their departure. Erza said something to her before she turned back to scold Natsu and Gray. 

Soon enough, Lucy, Evergreen, and Juvia walked behind Levy, Gajeel, and Lily as they made their way to the snowcone stand. 

Lucy scooped another bit of pink and blue, icy goodness into her mouth as she looked out of the large window next to her bed at the water park below. She was clothed in her white bikini, which had pink flowers decorating the top and bottom of the swimsuit. She was waiting patiently for Juvia to come out of the bathroom and Evergreen to return from visiting Laxus, Freed, and Bixlow. 

Just as finished off her snowcone, the door to the room opened and she looked over, watching as Evergreen stepped inside. The Thunder Legion member was wearing a green and white bandeau and her hair was tied into a high ponytail. Lucy felt her cheeks warm at the attractive sight, her stomach doing flips. Evergreen smirked knowingly at her girlfriend's sudden bashfulness and she made her way over. 

"Is Juvia not out of the bathroom?" Evergreen pulled Lucy to her feet as she asked the question and pulled her into a kiss. 

Upon pulling away, Lucy answered, "no, she's been in there for a while." 

Evergreen frowned at that, her brow creased worriedly. She looked back at the closed bathroom door and questioned, "do you think she's having trouble?" 

Lucy shrugged. A feeling of worry settled into her gut as her brain somehow managed to conjure up an assortment of situations that Juvia could have found herself in, a majority of which were clearly impossible and a result of overreacting. The two women made their way over to the bathroom door and stood close to it. Evergreen pressed her ear against the wood, listening closely. Lucy quickly followed suit. 

After a few moments of worried silence, they finally heard something. It was difficult to completely make out, but they could still tell that it sound an awful lot like muffled crying. Both women pulled away from the door and shared a wide-eyed, worried look before Evergreen gently pushed Lucy back. The fairy mage then pulled back one leg and easily kicked the door down. Lucy knew that they should have tried to ask Juvia to open the door on her own, but she also knew better than to get in the way of her girlfriend when she was worried about one of them. 

Lucy and Evergreen stepped into the bathroom, finding that Juvia was sitting on the closed toilet in her blue and purple-polka-dotted swimsuit, tears streaming down her cheeks and her hands raised. It was obvious that she had been crying into her hands and trying to muffle the sound. 

In a swift movement, Lucy took Juvia into her arms and kneeled on the floor, Evergreen kneeling right beside her with a hand on the water mage's back. Juvia clung to Lucy's arms as she continued to quietly cry. Lucy muttered comforting words and Evergreen pressed kisses to Juvia's blue hair as she rubbed her back soothingly. 

It took only a few minutes for Juvia's tears to stop. She pulled away from Lucy and wiped the stray tears away. Lucy cupped one of her still-damp cheeks with one hand and softly asked, "what happened, Sweetheart?" 

Juvia looked away from both of her girlfriends, arms wrapped around herself. There was a stretch of silence before she answered, her voice barely above a whisper, "I don't look good." 

Lucy and Evergreen stared at her, both clearly shocked. They only need to share one short look at each other before they pulled Juvia to her feet and situated her in front of the large mirror that was above the counter. Lucy then placed her hands on one of Juvia's shoulders and gently leaned against her, Evergreen doing the same thing on Juvia's other side. The blonde then gave a short, analytical hum, her brow furrowed in what was akin to confusion. 

Juvia hesitantly looked at her and asked, "what are you doing?" 

Lucy answered, still staring at Juvia in the mirror, "I'm trying to figure out what about you doesn't look good." She was then silent for a few seconds before she asked Evergreen, "do you see anything wrong about the way Juvia looks, Ever?" 

Evergreen hummed before she answered, her facial expression mirroring Lucy's, "no, I can't. I don't see anything wrong, really." 

The pair then gently pushed Juvia backward so that they could both look at her. Lucy smiled and cooed, "I just can't see what is wrong with how you look. You look more beautiful than either of us, Juvia." 

They watched as Juvia's face was taken over by a dark red blush. Evergreen added, "you're a hundred out of ten, in my opinion." She then moved behind their girlfriend and wrapped her arms around her waist, continuing, "I mean, just look at you! Perfect hourglass figure and a swimsuit that fits you to a T." 

Lucy cupped Juvia's blushing face in her hands and joined, "and let's not forget your beautiful face, entrancing eyes, and lovely voice!" 

Juvia remained in place, both her face and body warm from the praises that her two girlfriends had showered upon her. Lucy and Evergreen waited for their girlfriend to respond, both holding their breaths as they prayed for their compliments to work. 

After a few moments, Juvia relaxed in Evergreen's hold and allowed Lucy to cradle her face in her hands. She gave a serene smile as she whispered, "thank you." New tears rolled down her cheeks and Lucy and Evergreen peppered kisses to her face. 

Once the tears were gone and Juvia had recomposed herself, the three young women walked out of the hotel room, walking side-by-side and their arms linked together. They talked and laughed as they made their way to the place were they and their friends had agreed to meet after changing into their swimsuits.

Like in wendys first job, she went with happy and freed. Or in the clock arc, when they were "randomly" assigned teams like Wendy and bickslow and Erza, evergreen and max. Gray and freed etc

Yeah I definitely wanna see more dynamics. Lucy and Max team up — they work well together magic wise! Lucy pulls up with Scorpio and her stardress, Max just goes loco with his sand stuff. Get Juvia into the mix and we can get an awesome Aquarius-Scorpio attack amplified!! And the three of them would be so fun, Max is just crazy and talkative enough to click with Juvia, and he’s sane enough to reason with Lucy, AND we could see some Juvia and Lucy teamwork again (which we always love)

Jet and Wendy. Sibling dynamic as per usual, but I feel like they could match up attacks really well? Just a vibe though

Natsu and Freed. At first I feel like those two could clash, not work well at all, but once Freed gets the hang of it (Laxus-ish-strength with Bixlow-ish-personality — not an impossible task) he could get some really good tactics and enchantments going. Natsu x brainy partner is always a good move! I was close to put Levy and Natsu together bc they are technically childhood friends, and Levy also has that brainy thing going on + she can use script magic to get Natsu some power ups, but I feel like Natsu would bring Levy’s potential down a notch. So Freed it is!

Gajeel and Laki. They’re freaky weirdos and they become BESTIES. Gajeel loves weird people, and weird people are attracted to Gajeel like a moth to the flame. Gajeel collects weirdos like Pokémon cards (if he can manage Juvia ha can manage just about anyone)

Gray and Lisanna. I just think it would work! They mentioned Lisanna and Lucy were a lot alike, and Gray and Lucy are a great team!! And they’re both creative when it comes to their magic, I feel like even if it isn’t the ideal match (nothing tops water x ice) they could practice and become really in tune with each other. And they’d mock Natsu to death, which is always fun in my book😼

Paring: Bickslow x gn! Reader

Summary: You were supposed to spend the day with Bickslow but the rest of the Thunder Legion had other plans. Luckily the day still ends better than you expected after a nighttime stroll through the park and some stargazing.

A/n: Hello, welcome to my first Bickslow oneshot, I’ve done some headcanons for him but I felt that he needed his own piece as well. Also this is for the weekly challenge in the X reader community that I’m in, the prompt was stargazing at night. Anyway, I hope you enjoy and remember to hydrate or diedrate.

   As the day dragged on with nothing really happening within the Fairy Tail guild hall. I had originally planned to spend the day with Bickslow, but Freed and Evergreen decided that they wanted to take a job and so they dragged Bickslow along with them. So now I sat at the bar occasionally talking with Mira, while wishing they would hurry up with the job. It was a simple one that in all honesty Freed could have done solo, but they’re a team so of course they all had to go.

   “You know sitting there moping isn’t going to bring him back any quicker.” Mira said, noticing the disappointed look on my face.

   I sighed, laying my head in my crossed arms on top of the bar. “I know, I just wish he could take a day off more than once every month. Plus we were planning to spend the day together and now the sun is about to set and we were only able to eat breakfast together.” I grumbled.

  She just laughed while wiping out a glass. “He is part of the Thunder Legion after all, it’s no surprise that he takes a lot of jobs. But they should be back soon, so don’t fret too much about it.” She said with her usual cheerful smile.

   I nodded, before I could say anything else, the sound of the Guild doors opening cut me off. Turning my attention to the front of the guild, I couldn't hide my anticipation as I waited for whoever it was to fully enter the guild. Much to my relief it was the team of three I had been waiting for. Jumping up from my spot, I rushed over pulling Bickslow into a hug, earning a laugh from him and chuckles from his two companions as they left us. “I missed you today.” I spoke into his chest.

   I felt him rub his hand up my back as he placed a soft kiss to the top of my head. “I missed you too. Sorry I skipped out on our plans, Freed was being a baby about going solo and made us tag along.” He explained as he pulled away slightly. Looking up at him I couldn’t help but smile, being in his arms after such a long day was always relaxing. “What do you say we go for a walk in the park to make up for me leaving earlier?” He suggested, followed by a chorus of ‘walk’ and ‘park’ from his babies that floated close by.

   Thinking for a second, I nodded as I pulled away from the hug. Grabbing his hand I pulled him out of the guild hall. “A walk in the park sounds fun, but Freed owes me lunch after taking you away like that.” I said laughing as we made our way through the streets of Magnolia.

   When finally reached the park, the sun had almost set completely painting the sky in shades of pink, red and orange with the majority being a dark blue with stars slowly starting to appear. As we walked we discussed how our day had gone. Bickslow talking about how the job had gone and how he really didn’t have to go. I told him about the numerous fights that happened in the guild hall, most of which were caused by Natsu and Gray. We also joked about what we were going to make Freed do as payback for messing up our plans for the day.

    We walked around for about an hour before we realized the sun had fully set. “We should probably head home.” Bickslow suggested as we got closer to the exit of the park.

    I was about to agree with him when an idea popped into my head. “Why don’t we watch the stars for a bit? The sky is clear so we might be able to see a few shooting stars if we’re lucky.” I suggested, pulling him towards the grass where we would be able to see the sky clearly. Picking a good spot I laid down on the grass looking up at the stars, patting the space next to me. I heard him chuckle before he laid down next to me.

   It was silent for a few minutes as we both watched the stars. “Aren’t they amazing?” I broke the silence, talking about how mesmerizing the twinkling lights are. When I didn’t get an immediate response I turned to face Bickslow to see if he had fallen asleep. But what I was met with was his beautiful red eyes looking directly at me, his helmet discarded on his other side. “What are you looking at?” I asked, trying to hide the fact that having him look at me like that sent chills down my spine.

  “Just looking at something more mesmerizing than some lights in the sky.” I had not been expecting that response. Sure we had been together for awhile and even lived together but hearing the playful and loud Bickslow say something that sweet was shocking.

  Taking a second to process what he said I focused on another fact. “Umm, okay but why’d you take your helmet off? Not that I don’t like it, I love it honestly, but you never take it off outside of the house or the guild.” I said, getting a little flustered. It was true he never took his helmet off anywhere someone he didn’t know might see his face.

   It was his turn to pause, after gathering whatever was running through his mind, he stood up. Turning to me, he reached out his hands signaling he wanted me to stand up with him. Once I was standing he looked very serious before he started speaking. “I wanted to see your face clearly when I asked you this.” He spoke clearly, and even though I understood what he was saying, I didn't understand why he was saying it. I gave him a confused look, signaling for him to continue. “While it’s true Freed and Evergreen dragged me along on the job today, it’s my fault we took so long to get back. On our way back I saw something in a shop window and I had to buy it.” Bickslow continued to explain, bordering on the line of rambling. He took a second to breath before looking me in the eyes again, as if realizing I was confused by what he was saying he sighed. “I wasn’t going to ask you this until I was able to give you a day of just the two of us but seeing so happy to see me when I got back plus how beautiful you looked while watching the stars, I don’t think I can wait.” I watched confused as he pulled a small box from his pocket and opened it, revealing a simple yet gorgeous ring. “Will you marry me?” The smile on his face did nothing to cover how nervous he truly was but it was clear he meant it.

   Not missing a beat, I wrapped my arms around his neck pulling him into a tight hug. “Of course, I’ll marry you.” I said burying my face in his neck.

   I felt him return the hug before he pulled away to put the ring on my finger. “I love you so much. Thank you for dealing with me and all the crazy things I’ve done in the past.” He said, placing a kiss on my hand after the ring was in place.

   “You don’t have to thank me for loving you.” I said pulling him in for a real kiss this time. After we broke apart the sudden silence around us was relaxing, that is until I noticed something missing. “Wait a second Bickslow where are your dolls?” I finally noticed that the mini totems hadn’t been echoing his words since we got to the park.

  He chuckled. “I sent them home, I figured they’d ruin the moment if I actually worked up the courage to ask you.” He explained.

  I nodded understanding why he did it. “Well I think now would be a good time to head home. Because as much as I’d love to spend the night out here with you, we are going to have a long day tomorrow.” I said, leaning down to grab his helmet before handing it back to him. “After all, once the guild sees the ring they’re all going to go crazy asking questions.” Bickslow nodded as he pulled me to his side, for us to walk home together.
