Fairy Tail inconsistency

During Oracion Seis Arc, I have noticed something which bothered me.

Wendy helped Gerald (Jellal) because she thought she knew him. But it turned out that he wasn't the Gerald she knew. There is no problem with that, except Brain knew Wendy and he knew she knew Gerald. If it was the same Gerald, it wouldn't be a problem but it was not the case in the story

So I thought of something that could explain why Brain knew. And why Gerald hid his identity.

Brain was aware of Edolas existance, because of his position in his previous work. And he met Gerald/Mistgun. He saw the potential in his magic, but the young boy left quickly with the young girl he was taking care of. Then Brain saw Gerald from Earthland, and realized he wasn't the boy he had met. So he did research on Wendy and Gerald/Mistgun. He was close to find Gerald from Edolas, but the latter understood that he wasn't the only Gerald in this world so he hid his identity. Brain never found his trace again. Wendy as she was a member of a guild, was easier to find. Brain let her grow up because he knew, he would see her again in the future.

Do you ever wonder if Lisanna ever just forgets that she's back in Earthland? If she ever wakes up and steels herself for another day of walking in a dead girl's shoes, only to hear Elfman shouting about being a man and remember she's back home?

Do you think she ever sees Erza in a fight and can't help but think of Knightwalker on her way to slaughter them all? Do you think she has to relearn how to interact with everyone after spending three years with their doubles?

So even outside of rewriting it, Edolas from Lisanna's perspective has to be a harrowing/terrifying arc. Imagine being 14 and dying only to wake up face to face with people you definitely know who act completely wrong. And none of them acknowledge that anything is weird outside of them simply being haply you're alive.

Your siblings are loving as always but the way they interact with you is so wrong. The world you know is gone and you have to adapt on the fly because you don't know if you're in danger around these people yet or even what the new rules of the world are. You learn Magic doesn't exist how you know it and that the guild is constantly in fight mode. You settle in over 2 years and get comfortable, you understand things and find a home. Only for things to once again get upended when your true childhood friend appears acting completely different from what you've gotten accustomed to over the years.

You have to go to a world you no longer really know because that's the only way things can be fixed and once more you are stuck surrounded by the faces of those you know and love who are simply not right. No one asks you about your time while you were gone, no one checks to see if you're alright or if the change was too much. You're expected to adapt once again.

To accept moments when people look at you with a mix of pity because they've known you to be dead until now. You live in a world where you died at one point.

What about those days when Lisanna decides she wants to spend time with a guild member only to realize this guild member is completely different thus meaning she has to sit and figure out what to do and who to talk to. She grieves the loss of people who still live 2 separate times in her life and no one will ever understand that.

I wonder if there are Earthland versions of Happy, Carla, Lector and Frosch or if there are Edolas versions of them.

Since Happy, Carla and Lector’s eggs were laid in Edolas but they hatched in Earthland. I would maybe lean towards Earthland versions existing but who knows.

And we just have no idea with Frosch lmao

Sorry this took so long! I'm rewatching the show so I wanted to wait till I got to the Edolas Arc for inspo

Natsu was the one who brought Lucy to the guild just like Earthland Nalu, but the roles were reversed. She saved his life and he wanted to repay her by bringing her to Fairy Tail

Lucy was not well liked when she first joined and it took a bit for them to warm up to her

Wendy joined as little girl just like most of the members. She was too young to remember where she came from. People assumed her parents were executed by the royal army

Juvia joined as a preteen. The same time Earthland Juvia joined Phantom Lord.

Since all the other guilds were destroyed, the surviving wizards go to Fairy Tail if they need work

That is if they still want to work. Lyon is a frequent flyer at Fairy Tail

Makarov was publicly executed, the King assumed that would end Fairy Tail

Laxus freaked out and tried to stop it causing Knightwalker to kill him right before the execution

The Raijinshuu also put up a fight, but were captured and never heard from again

Lucy is the most well known member of Fairy Tail. She's known for saving people from the abuse of the royal army

Lucy is the only person to ever fight Knightwalker and escape with her life. She was badly wounded but put up a good fight

Master Bob had a black market magic shop. He closed down after his old friends were killed off. He was the only survivor of that team

Gajeel helps Fairy Tail avoid the royal army. He knows where all the bases are and everything

His Fairy Tail contact is Juvia. She meets up with him every couple months for updated info
