Been rewatching the battle of fairy tail arc, wanted to draw more Freed but the AU outfit.

My take on Edolas Stingue, cause I thought it'd be fun

The basic vibes are that Sting's bored most of the time whereas Rogue's angry most of the time. The way Earthland Rogue acts whenever Frosch is missing or threatened is basically Edolas Rogue's baseline.

Sting has the tragic backstory of meeting his childhood idle (Natsu the Fireball) and found the experience so disappointing he hasn't felt whimsy since. He's also an adrenaline junkie without the adrenaline.

Rogue has a bad phobia of exceeds. Even if they've been gone from Edolas for 9ish years, he still breaks into a cold sweat from the thought of them.

Future Rogue timeline except Sting gets the Irene treatment

I drew this cause I thought it'd be funny, but the more I thought about it. The more I realized Rogue's evil shadow being residual magic from his lacrima's previous owner could make sense.

Since we don't know exactly how any of the dragon slayer's got their lacrimas. Considering all the dubious circumstances they might've been obtained in, they could've easily had previous owners. Plus Irene could control Wendy's body, and only Wendy could hear her. Which matches Rogue's shadow too.
