In light of recent events with White people yet again being racist against Palestinians and purposely spreading what should be considered disinformation at this point, and given my relatively large following on here, I would like to spotlight four campaigns:
The first I would like to spotlight is the Ostaz family, whose fundraiser has been low on funds ever since the creation of it in January. Ahmed Al Ostaz has reached out to me numerous times since around May or July, and it breaks my heart into pieces when I check back on his campaign, and it's still stagnating. Their fundraiser is vetted, number 125 on the el-shab-hussein and nabulsi's fundraiser spreadsheet. 15,871/70,000 EUR raised.
The second is Abdullah Ameen's family, whose campaign has around 200 donations and was created back in April. It's still quite low on its goal, with 5,066/30,000 EUR raised. Number 134 on the spreadsheet linked above.
The third is a campaign for Doaa's family, who are trapped in Khan Yunis. Funds are to evacuate each member of her family, her sisters and their husbands and children. They are all living in inhospitable conditions and some need urgent medical care. 1,930/65,000 USD raised. Vetted by 90-ghost.
The fourth and last campaign I am going to highlight is Mahmoud Nedal's family. There are 6 family members to be evacuated, the campaign was created back in March, and is low on funds. 123 on the spreadsheet. 3,089/50,000 USD raised.
Donate if you have the money to, and share/reblog as much as you can if you do not! These are urgent! No excuses.

(TW injury description)
I am SO glad you asked I lose my mind over this man. Sidney Beldam! He’s most known for his miraculous recovery from a major facial injury sustained while he served as a young sergeant in the First World War. If you’ve read the Facemaker by Lindsay Fitzharris you might recognise him! Sources differ slightly about his story, so I’ve pieced it together as best I could. The photos below were from about February 1919!
Born in 1897, Sidney was about 17 living with his mother in Cambridge, England when the Great War commenced. While he didn’t enlist initially, he was soon conscripted when it came about in 1916 though thankfully he was in a non-combatant role driving lorries transporting soldiers to boats headed for France. It’s where he learned he enjoyed driving! However in April 1917, Sidney was transferred to the Machine Gun Corps and eventually rose to the rank of sergeant where only 7 months later, his life would change forever.
During the battle of Passchendaele, one of the muddiest most gruelling segments of the war, Sidney was on the frontlines when a shell burst, sending a shrapnel fragment tearing diagonally through his nose and the right side of his face. The young soldier collapsed face first into the mud which ended up saving his life as falling backwards would have caused him to choke on his own blood. For three days Sidney laid in a mangled heap floating in and out of consciousness while vermin scurried about his body and the other dead and wounded around him. No one would ever know the details of those agonising three days, but the trauma he experienced there left him with a lifelong phobia of rats and cockroaches. After the initial wounded had been cleared out, a wandering band of stretcher bearers discovered Sidney alive after one man touched him with his boot fully expecting him to be dead. Miraculously, he was still clinging to life.
The 19 year old sergeant was rushed down the line and then transferred to two different military hospitals where his wounds were hastily stitched in an effort to save his life before infection could spread. Unfortunately, closing the gap where he was missing flesh in his cheek caused his upper lip to be pulled into a sneer and a sunken depression formed where most of his nose was missing around the bridge. Still, he was lucky to be alive, which he later used to remark. Well he was luckier still as he would be transferred to Sidcup military hospital in Kent where he would become a patient under Sir Harold Gillies, the man often considered the pioneer of modern plastic surgery. When he arrived at hospital in 1918, his wounds were healed but his face still bore the heavy trauma of his experience. If you want to see his photographs upon arrival, I won’t post them here but if you search his name, the photos are everywhere. IMO they’re not graphic but I know it can upset some people.
Gillies went to work trying to restore Sidney’s face. This required him to reopen the wound in his cheek where a skin flap was grafted to allow his upper lip to return to normal. He also folded down a skin flap from his forehead in order to create a new nose. Behind his facade, a series of tubes and canals had to be inserted for proper sinus drainage and other unnamed functions. While his initial handful of surgeries did most of the work to reconstruct his face, Sidney underwent over 40 surgeries between 1918 and the 1930s, some reconstructive and some to evacuate the tubes behind the flesh, meaning the common cold was a routinely painful affliction for him. Gillies understood operations were traumatic for the men at Sidcup, especially since most required more than one, and so made a point about creating a lighthearted ward environment, one Sidney says was quite jolly with the staff doing everything they could to make them feel comfortable and dignified as possible. And while I thought the topmost photos were the most updated case study photos for his recovery, I stumbled upon another set from 1920 in the Faces of War by Andrew Bamji I have not seen posted anywhere!
And lads listen. In such a sweet little twist, while Sidney was still recovering from the bulk of his major surgeries, a local pianist by the name of Winifred volunteered to play for the resting servicemen, all of whom had some form of disfigurment or amputation. Carrying in her sheet music, she and Sidney laid eyes on each other for the first time and she later remarked how his smile instantly lit up the whole room! For them, it was love at first sight. The two were soon married, and although it was in the 1920s, I don’t have an exact year for this. This most likely came after Sidney was finally discharged from service in 1921. There is a photo of their wedding and y’all look how SWEET!!
Between his initial surgeries and army discharge, Gillies asked if Sidney would be his personal chauffeur, an offer he took up quickly as he loved driving from his time with lorries during the war. One somewhat humorous account tells of Gillies—who was a bit scattered at times—asking Sidney to renew his driver’s license as the surgeon left it until the last day to take care of; Sidney in a rush waited in a long line at the county hall before jumping the queue and begging the administrator to expedite his employer’s license as it was needed to drive him to the hospital the next day. The man refused, even for a surgeon to get him to his patients. Sidney went to another staff member who was friends with Gillies and begged him the same. The man cheerily agreed but was still in need of a signature from the stubborn administrator who again refused... at least until he found out Harold Gillies nearly won a golfing championship, at which point he took Sidney to his personal office to expedite the license as he was happy to do business for a skilled golfer (apparently saving people’s lives doesn’t matter as much??). A no doubt perplexed Sidney was finally able to get back to the hospital on time!
After his army discharge and most likely about the time of his marriage, Sidney moved back to Cambridge where he worked for the council as a rent collector. He was so well liked, apparently even from the people he collected from, that he soon worked his way to Housing Manager for Cambridge. About this time, he had a daughter, Pam. Every account I read of him, people gush about how sweet he was. His wife recalls how Sidney was always adored by all his family and friends. His granddaughter Marilyn McInnes in an interview said, “He was the most warm and optimistic and loving man. I adored my grandfather, I was constantly on his lap as a small child. I never noticed anything funny about his face, I guess I thought all grandads looked like mine.”
Sadly, Sidney Beldam passed away from cancer at about 80 years old in 1978. But considering the man was given 6 months to live and ended up living for 60 years more surrounded by a large and loving family, I’d say he certainly had a full life. There is a picture of him and his wife in the 60s and they are absolutely charming!!
But anyway that’s me done rambling I’ve a massive crush on him. His story makes me genuinely happy to tell and I’m so glad you asked!
#I love love love this man sm he’s just described as this ray of sunshine!!#I want to put him in my pocket#And the story of him and his wife like actually kill me that is so cute#I’m so happy he was able to live a full life#Also yeah lads he is so fine ngl when I saw him in that book I was like WOW#he has such gorgeous eyes and I love his nose#and his smile#wwi#world war 1#sidney beldam#history#wwi medicine#injury tw#medical tw#long post

Are you still gonna be updating no one saw me?
this is such a long time overdue, but since ive been away so long i figured this would be a good way to address everything, like whats been happening in my life and my future plans for no1sm for everyones clarity.
to put it shortly, i work full-time, and have done for nearly 2 years now. i am a product designer and i work monday-friday, 9-5. i attend a full day of college classes once a week, this day being even longer than a work day, and on top of that i have a personal work-based tutor that i have to complete work for as well. so in terms of professional obligations, im extremely busy. in my personal life, ive been seeing friends a lot, running errands, planning for weddings, parties, buying a car, SO MANY THINGS. my life has been so hectic.
ive also been suffering some health problems recently. my earliest or readers that are close friends probably know i began writing no1sm to vent my feelings about trauma i underwent, and this obviously still affects me quite greatly alongside depression and anxiety. ive also been suffering quite badly with insomnia and fatigue problems, as well as, embarrassingly, moderately bad eczema.
perhaps the most ridiculous development of all: I AM NOT CURRENTLY HYPERFIXATED ON SOUTH PARK. SHOCK HORROR. BUT PLEASE DONT PANIC: it is still my spin, stan and kyle are still my most favourite characters ever, and most of all i still ENJOY south park and enjoy thinking about, planning, and writing no1sm (when im not completely utterly knackered). ive actually recently gotten majorly into formula 1 as a result of my friends, so if there are any f1 fans following me PLEASE SAY HI!!!!! i plan to do art for it but i have been busy and im also very much a perfectionist. (FYI: my favourite driver is max verstappen. no questions asked. i also love charles daniel lando oscar and honestly most drivers on the grid. i love niki lauda james hunt seb vettel and jenson button. i had a brief mclaren tooned hyperfixation. I AM CURRENTLY INCREDIBLY DEPRESSED OVER DANIEL RICCIARDO LOSING HIS SEAT)
anyway.. getting back on track.
AM I STILL GOING TO BE UPDATING NO1SM?
YES. YES YES A MILLION TIMES YES. i dont know when, but this story is something i have to complete for myself and for you guys. i realised i was putting myself under so much pressure for it to be perfect that it sapped the love i felt for it from me. now that i no longer have visible eyes on me waiting for updates on twitter, i feel much freer and relaxed with it. i dont know how or when, but yes, the story will be completed. do not ask me about the kyle prequel ive planned though DONT DO IT.
i also dont plan on posting about updates anywhere other than tumblr going forwards. ive since moved on from the twitter south park fandom where i was most active, as i felt like i was too old to be in a fandom of minors and the discourse was simply too much. so i decided to move to a fan space and sport that is a million times worse but still somehow has been better for me. so if you still want to follow me on twitter even though i dont south park post anymore, you can follow me at @vrstappns :)
WILL NO1SM HAVE AN UPDATE SCHEDULE?
NO. sorry, my mental health and my career comes first. i want to try and find a better balance that leaves me time to write but im afraid i need time to ease myself back in after so long off and theres no guarantee how long that will take me.
WILL YOU STILL BE MAKING ART FOR NO1SM?
YES. I HOPE. who knows when though cause i havent been able to draw in a long time and im still pissed off that i cant draw max verstappen as easily as i could ever draw kyle broflovski.
AM I ALLOWED TO USE YOUR STORY AND WRITE THE ENDING FOR MYSELF?
NO. PLEASE DO NOT DO THIS. as much as other authors may encourage this I REALLY DO NOT LIKE THIS. you dont know how much work i have put into this fic as well as how much of my own life and traumas are embedded between the lines of writing. this fic is practically half of me in the same way my parents’ DNA is a part of my make-up. not to sound rude but to even think you could possibly imagine how i intend for this fic to resolve and end when you dont even know me is laughable.
HOW WILL THE INTENSE HOMOSEXUAL RIVALRIES OF FORMULA ONE INFLUENCE THE INTENSE HOMOSEXUAL RIVALRY OF STAN AND KYLE GOING FORWARDS?
im sure 2019 charles leclerc and max verstappen guided carefully by brocedes and james hunt and niki lauda will figure something out. maybe not brocedes actually i am unsure if i want stan marsh to end up like nico rosberg. but i guess he is a good youtuber too and has great hair which is two things stan is NOT. gay loser. also david coulthard and sebastian vettel are there somewhere. GAY RED BULL RACING WILL LEAD US TO WORLD PEACE
thank you so much for reading, i know youve all probably moved on with your life but its a weight off my chest to finally write this out. i love this fic and i love that you all love this fic, if you are still here. i can only apologise for how long ive made you all wait.
please just have patience with me,
thanks muchly,

Oakie the Acorn is the Best Mascot Ever
I don’t even go to this school I just love them. Here’s an interview they did for SUNY Mascot Madness.
Oakie - SUNY ESF
Who are you, where are you originally from, and where do you do your mascot thing? I'm Oakie Acorn (they/them), proud representative of ESF and its Mighty Oaks athletic teams! I was “born” when I fell out of ESF's Robin Hood Oak which means my roots go back to the Major Oak in England's Sherwood Forest. Maybe that's why I'm so merry! While most of my mascot duties have me in Syracuse, I also pop in at our Ranger School in Wanakena and our satellite campuses in the Adirondacks and Thousand Islands.
What's a unique new thing (building, club, activity, employee, etc.) on your campus that you treasure? The newly renovated Marshall Hall is wonderful! Open since 1933, Marshall underwent a major two-year reno re-opening in 2023. We kept the classic features, such as the spiral staircase and auditorium, while updating the building to a state-of-the-art learning center with spaces tailored to the needs of today's students. The building is home to our Landscape Architecture, Environmental Studies, and mathematics programs. Along with great classroom and studio space, there are plenty of study nooks for students to tuck in and do work between classes or meet with friends.
If you could start your own club or major on campus, what would it be? Wow! Difficult question because ESF has so many unique clubs, activities, and majors already! That said, I'd love to start an a capella group – Oak-apella! I don't speak, but I have a song in my heart and would love to hear ESF students sing. Maybe I could do some interpretive dance while they sing.
What's your hidden talent that you haven't told anyone about yet? Anyone on campus at night might have seen me skateboarding. The other day I landed a kickflip over the gap and was pretty stoked. Sadly, no one was around to see it. Flicks or it didn't happen, right? We do have some talented campus artists who have drawn me and my board though.
What campus cheer gets you pumped up and why? (with great enthusiasm) O-A-K-I-E! They're our acorn can't you see? Sprouting strong through day and night We've got bark and we've got bite! ESF Orientation Leaders chant this while they lead our newest acorns to convocation. I love hearing it echo off the campus buildings!
What sport would you play if you were a student-athlete? I would join the Bass Fishing team in a heartbeat! I know when you think “acorn,” you think “land-based,” but I'd love to get out on the water and drop a line or two. There's so much more to me than most people know. I would look awesome in one of the Bass Fishing team jerseys – provided they could get me an XXXXXL.
Read any good books lately? The Climate Optimists Handbook by environmental activist Anne Therese Gennari is a great read. Her book is about empowering people to get excited about changing the narrative on climate change so we act from courage and excitement to co-create a better world. She totally gets the ESF vibe! She was our commencement speaker last May and inspired our graduates and their guests to Improve Our World! And of course, Braiding Sweetgrass by our own Dr. Robin Wall Kimmerer is always close at hand to read again and again!
Favorite pizza topping? Mushrooms. I love to top my pie with things I've foraged in the woods. Remember, you have to be very careful with mushrooms. I always take along a friend who has taken Dr. Alex Weir's mycology course to ensure I don't eat anything that could make me sick or worse!
If you were SUNY Chancellor for a day, what would you do? I would declare every day Earth Day in SUNY and plant pollinator gardens on every campus. I would also help other campuses set and reach their own Zero-Waste goals. Sustainability is a key component to helping the environment. I would then ask to be Chancellor for a couple more days to visit as many campuses as possible and see all the great things SUNY students are doing. I don't know how Chancellor King does it all! Does he ever sleep?
How would you celebrate being named SUNY Mascot Madness Champion in 2024? The same way I celebrated in 2017 when I won the title – surrounded by the best students, faculty, and staff ever! We had a party that the whole campus attended. My friend, Victor E. Knight from SUNY Geneseo, was gracious enough to come and present me with the trophy and join the festivities. I think it would be great to host Wolfie on campus this year.

This Is The Thanks I Get?! (Jack Frost Version) - Chris Pine
*DISCLAIMER: These lyrics are fan-made lyrics of a song created and owned by Disney for a character that is owned by Dreamworks. No money is being made off of this. This was solely written for recreational purposes.*
sing = siiing
LYRICS UPDATED: 8/3/2024
-
Jack shook his head in disbelief, and then shook it towards the moon. "That's it. I've had it! I've had it with your silence, and I've had it with everybody and their mother giving me the cold shoulder!" He ran a hand through his hair, scoffing again. "I mean, what's it gonna take?!"
Frost began to count off from his free left hand. "I've started snowball fights, not that they ever let me in on them considering I'm invisible! I've even frosted some windows over to write them messages, and lemme tell ya, those were not the reactions I was hopin' for!"
"I mean, what do I gotta do, huh?!" he groaned, throwing his arms up into the air. "Do I actually have to spell it out for them, o-or sing it out loud to get them to hear me?!"
He was grimacing when he said this. But as the words registered in his head, his expression became pensive as he considered his remark.
In truth... he hadn't tried that.
Jack rubbed his chin in thought as he pondered this new development, his eyes darting left and right like clockwork. Was he really that desperate? Would he really stoop so low? Debase himself in such a way?
...It turned out that yes. Jack was that desperate.
"...Oh, what the heck."
(VERSE 1)
I can’t help it if no one can look my way.
It’s a curse, I tell ya!
Can’t stop it no matter what I do, or say!
Peep the name, son! It’s Jack Frost!
I’m THE rebel without a cause!
I’m free-spirited! My own kind of boss!
SO HOW COME EVERYONE WANTS ME TO GET LOST?!
“Ahem! Lemme explain…”
I’d give the cloak off my own bare back,
If you really needed that.
I’ll be the first one to volunteer myself!
If your igloo were to crumble, or if you were in trouble.
(PRE-CHORUS)
I’d cancel all your school days,
Be that friend that suggests fun stuff,
Take blame for all the messes!
And I’ll be there for you when things get rough!
I’d give, and give, and give, and give!
You’d think it’d be more than enough…
And all I really want is to get in on the fun.
(CHORUS)
But this is the thanks I get! (Da-da, da-da, da-da, da-da, da-da, da)
This is the thanks I get! (Da-da, da-da, da-da, da-da, da-da, da)
For wanting to be seen by them! (Da-da, da-da, da-da, da-da, da-da, da)
Looks like I’ll get ignored again. (Da-da, da-da, da-da, da-da, da-da, da)
Since this is the thanks I get!
(INTERLUDE 1)
(Da, da, da, da)
(Da-da-da-da-da, da, da, da)
(Da-da-da-da-da, da, da, da)
(Da-da-da-da-da. Da-da, da)
(VERSE 2)
It’s so stupid!
But that’s the least I could say.
There are more words that are well-suited.
Like "cruel," and "wrong," and "unfair," and "lame!”
The gifts you gave me? I’m showing them off!
And you still won’t talk? You’re blowing me off?!
Um, do you think I won’t come up there?
‘Cause I won’t hesitate to drag your butt down here!
(PRE-CHORUS)
UGH!
I made a hundred snow days last year!
C’mon! That’s a high percent!
And still you won’t let me be seen?
The disrespect I just underwent!
You get my hopes up, and tear them down.
But, really, what do I expect?
It’s been like this every year ever since we met…
(CHORUS)
So this is the thanks I get! (Da-da, da-da, da-da, da-da, da-da, da)
This is the thanks I get! (Da-da, da-da, da-da, da-da, da-da, da)
For expecting you to really listen! (Da-da, da-da, da-da, da-da, da-da, da)
Did I just get run over by Sven?! (Da-da, da-da, da-da, da-da, da-da, da)
RRRRGH, THIS IS THE THANKS I GET?!
(INTERLUDE 2)
(Da, da, da, da)
(Da-da-da-da-da, da, da, da)
(Da-da-da-da-da, da, da, da)
(Da-da-da-da-da. Da. Da)
(BRIDGE)
I didn’t wanna do this.
I SWORE I’d never sing this!
But I’m really runnin’ outta options here,
‘Cause I refuse to be unseen for another year!
A ballad, a jingle, a melody, a glee?!
ANYTHING for them to finally see me!
To this low I’d really rather not stoop to,
But a man’s gotta do what a man’s gotta do!...
*Cough* “Where was I? Oh yeah, right…”
(PRE-CHORUS)
Been at this for a century now,
So don’t think I’ll be going away!
C’mon, now. Say something, man!
Gonna leave me hangin’ here without a say?
Well, whenever you wanna chat-
Yeah, that’ll be the day.
Honestly? Something tells me I’m gonna be there, either way…
(CHORUS)
‘Cause this is the thanks I get! (Da-da, da-da, da-da, da-da, da-da, da)
This is the thanks I get! (Da-da, da-da, da-da, da-da, da-da, da)
My mental energy’s all spent! (Da-da, da-da, da-da, da-da, da-da, da)
For thinking today’d be different… (Da-da, da-da, da-da, da-da, da-da, da)
*Sigh.* This is the thanks I get.
(END)
“So thanks! Thanks for nothing…”
-
Been mulling over this ever since Disney released the song weeks ago. Figured I'd try my hand at a Jack Frost version, and I definitely love how it turned out. Might even add it to my fic, hence why I added some passages of it before the song.
Also added to the chorus, putting in extra lines. This was inspired by the Booth To Screen video of This Is The Thanks I Get?! where it ends with Chris Pine singing the whole first chorus before ending with how he harmonizes in the third line of the 2nd and last choruses. So in this version there are musical interludes between verses. Look it up on YouTube, and you guys will see what I mean.
Keep in mind, Jack's mentality here is "This Is The Thanks I Get for thinking today's gonna be any different than yesterday… or the last 100 years.” This is set during his 300 years of isolation, so again, he's trying all sorts of things to get seen. The spectrum is far more different than the villainous version depicted by King Magnifico, especially the middle where Jack loses his cool. Though not shown in these lyrics, in the story setting, he’s gonna try to calm himself down, which is mostly what he’s struggling with during the Bridge. Whereas Magnifico doesn’t, and gets himself continuously worked up before doing something he can’t take back.
Another example of the difference between the two is at the end when, instead of screaming in rage like the king, Jack just reins it in, and just flatly sings the last verse.
Long story short: both characters allow themselves to go insane here. Difference here is Jack remembered to make sure he came back. Magnifico didn’t.
Either way, the song's extremely catchy, and I can find myself singing to either version. Hope you guys enjoyed reading or singing it in your head.
PS: for those wondering, the Sven Jack mentioned in the song is Sven the Reindeer from Frozen. 😉

I have multiple questions, of which may be already known to people who've played the gamr recently (I personally came back for Lightfall, left after the raid). Don't feel pressured to answer all of them.
Has there ever been an instance where a known Exo Guardian undergoes a reset but still have to do their duties as a Guardian?
What has Eris and Drifter been up to since Beyond Light? Have they continued to communicate with the Nine?
On resurrection, does a Ghost become aware of everything that their Chosen knows about? Do they share a mental bond that ties them together? Can one hear ones thoughts? And on that line of thought, would that stop a Ghost from resurrecting a known Ghostless Guardian like Osiris?
Hi!
First question: seems like the answer is no. Exo Guardians that went through a reset are extremely rare and so far it seems none of them really resumed doing the same. From Lakshmi-2's search:
Historical Basis for Spontaneous Reset Syndrome —Heyka-3/4: Notorious Dark Ages Warlord. Post-reset, became a lone raider. —Vander-2/3: Rescued from the Great Disaster because reset incapacitated him. Served as City guard post-reset. Ghost destroyed on Luna. (Pre- or post-reset? Do Ghosts protect Exo Guardians from spontaneous reset?) —Lilakee-5/6/7: Curious case. Known sufferer of severe DER-related nightmares and outbursts. Commandeered a jumpship and vanished. —Selass-7/8: Technician sent to data mine Titan settlements. Reset occurred in return transit. Post-reset, remained research technician assisting Cryptarchs.
It's unclear for Heyka-3/4 what "lone raider" means, but given they were a Warlord first and then stopped, it probably means that simply resuming the same duties is unlikely. Vander-2/3 is also curious since we know for a fact they were a Guardian, but they lost their Ghost in the Great Disaster. Being a City guard is not the same as being a Guardian, but that could also be because they lost their Ghost, and not because of the reset. For the last two, it's not clear if they were Guardians. But given that they all changed their jobs, it's very likely that a Guardian that underwent the reset would no longer act the same and would probably not take up the same duties as a Guardian after the reset. They'd most certainly be excused in some way.
Second: Eris and Drifter did not resume speaking to the Nine, so far and that we know of! Drifter is always kinda tangled up with them due to the nature of Gambit, but he hasn't done much with them since Prophecy. I definitely expect the Nine to pop up again some time, maybe this year? I'd expect Drifter to be a part of any storyline with them.
Instead, Eris and Drifter worked together on some egregore research back in Haunted and they also worked together on Nezarec's relics in Plunder for a bit. They both have ties to this sort of Darkness stuff, Drifter especially since he both had a relic himself and he also has egregore in his ship. We've not had much updates on Eris since Plunder, though we do know that she's friendly with Eido and shares tea with her. Drifter on the other hand is still shown as actively helping the Eliksni in the City.
Third: Ghosts definitely share a bond with their Guardians, though I'm not sure if it's mental. There's definitely something more and metaphysical going on when a Ghost and a Guardian bond. For example, Fynch claims that he can hear his dead Hive Knight, both before he was chosen at all and now that he's dead.
I know. I know you don't want to be dead. I know that! You think I don't know that?!
I watched you shoot a Guardian. And her GHOST. Dead. All because I could hear you, in the back of my mind, needing me to bring you back. And I listened. I listened to the others… then to you… to everyone except myself.
I didn't expect miracles, but… I expected something!
Yes, you're dead now. And I can hear you—but I can't. Don't you get it? I just. Can't!
It's impossible to say if this is standard; Fynch having a Hive Lightbearer might have something to do with it, but maybe it's something that all Ghosts feel. However, beyond this very strange effect that death in general has on Ghosts and Guardians, it's unclear if this bond manifests as Ghosts being aware and able to hear their Guardian's thoughts at all time.
I'd say it's not applied broadly to the relationship between them, as Ghosts and Guardians still have to talk to properly communicate. For example, Ikora had a bad relationship with her Ghost Ophiuchus and stopped talking to him for 61 years (!). When she spoke to him for the first time after that, he was shocked. He spent all of that time just observing her. If a Ghost could simply mentally connect with their Guardian, then this communication issue between them wouldn't have impacted him that much.
Speaking of Ophiuchus, and related to the question, he and Sagira had an interesting conversation once about the reason for Ghosts having only one Guardian.
Anyway, O said he had a theory why there was one Ghost for one Guardian. He thought that each of us had strengths that complemented weaknesses in our Guardian, and vice versa. That we needed to be together, or neither of us would be whole.
"Like soul mates?" I asked. "Because I'm not in love with Osiris or anything. Not only would that be really weird, he kinda gets on my nerves a lot of the time."
"It is not a romantic attachment," O said. If he had eyes, he would have rolled them at me. "It is my belief that the Traveler understood that normal people would not be enough to protect humanity. That it would take those who are extraordinary in both body and spirit. And that only by the merging of Ghost and Guardian into a single unit could this be accomplished."
Interesting! Ghosts don't really agree on matters like this and they tend to have a lot of different opinions on their own nature and the nature of the bond between a Ghost and a Guardian. But a bond definitely exists and is probably a reason why a Ghost will not pick another Guardian or why a Guardian that lost their Ghost won't pick another Ghost.
The relationship between a Ghost and a Guardian is unique and emotional and very deep so the idea of just getting another Ghost, like they're a tool, is deeply unsettling to most. It's technically possible, but most (both Ghosts and Guardans) will simply choose not to try due to the emotional toll. Similarly, an unpartnered Ghost will most likely never choose to pick a Guardian that already had a Ghost but lost it, because that unpartnered Ghost must have their own Guardian somewhere.
The one exception is, as usual, Shin Malphur who inherited Jaren Ward's Ghost. This has somewhat more sense when you know that Jaren and Shin were basically father and son so Jaren's Ghost was already deeply familiar with Shin and had a bond with him as well. We're still unclear if Jaren's Ghost can have full functionality with Shin though. Shin already had a Ghost prior, as a baby, but it died. Shin's situation is very complicated overall so it's not entirely useful as an example, but it's worth mentioning in this case.

a brief update on life and the blog (contains medical stuff)
If you don't want to read, I kindly ask for your prayers :)
Brief introduction: my name is Liv, I'm 27, and I'm an orthopedic/ocology nurse in Florida. Diagnosis with an unknown cause of myocarditis (heart inflammation) in August 2023.
I was expected to make a full recovery within 2 months. January rolls around, I'm still sick. April rolls around, I'm even sicker and they finally test me for an autoimmune disease. Let's roll to today where in 3 days they'll finally give me a diagnosis and treatment for lupus induced myocarditis. Long story short, I have a severe autoimmune condition that is attacking and actively killing my heart.
I'll save the details, but over the last nearly 11 months, I've been in the hospital 6 times and admitted for 2 of them with no answers. This last one was 3 days and I underwent a cardiac cauterization, which is something they do for people who have heart attacks. Luckily, there doesn't seem to appear to be any permanent damage despite my heart levels being the highest I've ever seen in my career.
Bad news is that over the last year, I've suffered intense chest pain that makes it difficult to breathe, my ankles are swelling, and I have no energy and life just overall sucks. I surprisingly never stopped working. However, being a bedside nurse taking care of actively dying cancer patients is just mentally exhausting and one week ago, I finally hit the breaking point and sobbed in the bathroom before my shift started. I still don't have the details, but I've requested an extended leave of absence from work.
In 3 days, I'll finally have an answer. My doctor already warned me that treatment will be intense. I'll be undergoing chemotherapy.
But, hey, guess what? I'm an oncology nurse and guess what I do for a living?
This last year has been exhausting. It's been the worst. I'm very blessed to say that I've never suffered from any mental illness or depression, but in the last three months I really think that's what I've felt. Nothing makes me happy that used to, I've stopped cleaning my condo (and I'm a minimalist who hates clutter btw), my eating habits are trash, I can't exercise since my heart gives out, and I've completely isolated myself from my friends and my wonderfully supportive family. Every time i do go out, I just bring them down, too.
And guess who bought a condo literally one week before this all went down? I'm not in a safe financial position to stop working for a long time, but I can for a brief time. I'm thankful to be where I am in the sense of good healthcare and a small emergency fund.
I guess what I'm trying to say is that my life this last year has been bad, but the last three months have been the worst, so my activity on this blog has been sporadic and inconsistent. I know my writing quality has gone down; I can't apologize for getting sick, just know that soon I can have some answers and recover to get back to where I was.
My faith has taken the hardest hit. I am a firm Christian and I believe in the power of prayer. I'd really appreciate a prayer from everyone, even if you don't believe, it would still mean a lot.

Growing up as a black, masculine lesbian meant that I never really saw what I wanted to see on TV or in books. I never got to see the girl getting the girl. It was always boys winning the hearts of girls. I never got to see lesbians or gay people being complex people with dreams and goals and ambitions and humanity. Stories about us were about us being gay. That's not necessarily bad, but being gay takes a backseat to everything else going on in my life 💀 What if I wanna kill a dragon? What if I want to save the world? What if I want to not die at the end? What if I want a happily ever after? What if I want a story that doesn't revolve around depression and heartbreak and death?
"Write it yourself" is what I always heard growing up. It used to make me mad. But now I realize that they're right. Nobody is going to write the story that I want to see. Nobody is going to write the specific story arc or character interactions or romance or ending. After getting my heart broken countless times by shitty lesbian representation, I've decided to write what I've wanted to see for so long. I've decided to create the women I would've killed to see growing up. This is a story that nobody is going to cancel. This is a story that doesn't end with all of us dying. This is a story with complex women and characters who just happen to be gay.
If you're finding yourself relating to what I'm saying thus far, I'd like to introduce to you to my original audiobook
Thalassophobia
Thalassophobia is set in a world where demons roam the earth along side humans. The two species are far from a harmonious cohabitation, and nowhere is this more true than in the town of Reveldad. Due to a prophecy woven many years ago, Reveldad underwent an oppressive rule governed by the wolf demon known as Ma'Relle. Her rule ended the day that the human woman known as Krona cast her into the ocean. Ma'Relle escaped her imprisonment after a year, but has since opted to live a life far removed from what anyone would consider a reign. As such, demon-kind was forced to suffer a terrible retreat and their hope and faith in Ma'Relle as their hero wanes by the day while humanities faith that Krona is the 'one true victor' foretold by the prophecy grows ever stronger. Still, demons remain a presence in Reveldad, making it so visitors are rare, and often leave as quickly they come. New residents, however, are nearly unheard of. So when Vitala Ston, a woman free from any experience with demons or prophecies, decides to make herself at home in the town of Reveldad, she will earn experiences far beyond what she imagined when she set out with her horse and cairn terrier. Her curiosity and thirst for knowledge will earn her friends, enemies, and most unexpected of all: a love that may be the catalyst for a prophecy that has long waited to be fulfilled.
If that sounds interesting to you then I have two episodes out now on my YouTube channel for your viewing pleasure! I hope you enjoy and don't be afraid to tell me what you think! Always looking for feedback. Fair warning that updates will be slow due to me being in school but my ask box is open if you ever wanna talk about the story!

ok, im gonna try my hand at a proper memory post. i hope this isnt too confusing, im trying to set them up in order to form a timeline but its hard cus everythings kinda fuzzy
this will ( hopefully ) expand as i remember more stuff, so its always gonna be a wip
last updated nov. 11th
PRE-TURNING & TURNING
- im the original vampworld finn - i dont think babyworld finn was ever a thing in my timeline. not that i know of anyway
- before i was turned, i was a kid living on my own. i moved camps often, equipped with stakes and all to defend myself from the vampires. this is when i had my hat, to protect my neck. i came in contact with bonnie and the other hunters before, but i decided not to stay. i didnt like them much. we butted heads a lot. i had no memory of my family, i was alone for as long as i could remember. i was more of a vegabond than a hunter, but i learned a lot from vampire hunters on how to survive
- when i was 15, the star found my camp, along with a group of hunting vampires. i killed most of them and gave the star a good stab to the chest, but missed the heart. hissing in rage, she ripped off my hood and grabbed my hair, dragging me all the way to the vampire hive.
- she threw me in front of the vampire king. i was terrified. he was terrifying. he was the one who turned me - i still remember his fangs in my neck.
VAMP LIVIN'
- they threw me in a cell in the hive while i turned. it was fucking agony. i was left alone with no food or company at all while i underwent mental and psychical torture from the turning process (see the animals in the stakes arc. yeah)
- i was alone and starving up until the star came in. she dragged into a room and gave me my first taste of blood. i refused but eventually caved. Heres more on that i guess
- after that i started moving up the ranks. i started leaning more and more into my new vampire status and slowly but surely, i earned my tarot name. the sun. marcy and i became extremely close and she served as a big sister figure
- the vampire king hated me. he only tolerated my presence because his daughter liked me so much. he turned me thinking I'd be just another low-level vampire under his watch, but i wasnt. i think he would have killed me if marceline wasnt there
??????
- i dont fully remember what happened with the other members of the vampire king's court. i think they all had their own hives and servants in different parts of the world. i vaguely remember simon petrikov being in the empress' court
- i think martin died? the things that happened in the f&c episode happened but without fionna, cake or simon. and babyworld finn. i think i was there on the side of the vamps, maybe. i know marcy and bonnie both survived their fall
- i think after that bonnie was captured by the vampires. i felt pity for her since i knew what being locked in a cell felt like. marcy often came to taunt her after she recovered from her own injuries. i followed, obviously, but i mostly stayed quiet.
- i think i might have let bonnie go. she didnt wait for a second to make a break for it, she even attacked me with a hidden stake she had on her. it gave me a scar above my eye.
- i got in huge fucking trouble for it as you could imagine. i think this is when i lost my arm. the vampire king ripped it off in rage as punishment. i was so out of it so i dont remember it well, but i remember seeing blood from my Arm Nub and marcy arguing with the vk as i slowly lost consciousness. i couldn't hear what they were saying, my ears were ringing
ESCAPE FROM THE HIVE
- sometime after that, idk when, i escaped the hive. I went back to being a loner, but i targeted vampires specifically. i would attack the odd mutant, but that was mostly for feeding reasons. i actively started hunting members of the vk's court. i wanted marcy to come with me, but i knew she wouldn't. so i just disappeared and went into hiding
- i think my timeline had a vampworld fern??? i dont think their name was fern, im pretty sure they went by thorn. i vaguely remember(??) getting found by bonnie and the hunters after escaping the hive and seeing some kid with them.
- thorn still had the grass curse, i think. they could grow the grass sword and had the thorn sticking out of their hand, which they always kept covered by bandages. they were pretty quiet, probably cus i dont think them and bonnie had a great relationship
- my meeting with bonnie and the others didn't last, though. bonnie wanted me DEAD. i was drained from lack of blood and energy, so i did the sensible thing and i ran.
- somewhere along the line, i met someone interesting. another vampire, named marshall. yep, we had a marshall too!
- he was pretty freaking cool. he was a rogue vampire who lived on his own, saying he "takes what he wants when he wants it." of course, i thought he was the coolest guy ever
- marshall was marceline's twin brother. they were separated when the mushroom war happened, and grew up separately. they didnt even remember each other. upon finding out, marshall would express ( rather loudly ) that he wanted no part in being royalty. them being related also technically made marshall my brother, which was awesome
- marshall got a lot of the demon stuff, i think. i remember him having a human disguise that looked like fionnaworld marsh, just with uh. scary teeth lol.
- me and him traveled around a little bit together for a little. it was cool, but he made me miss the hive a lot because him and marcy were so similar.
- also i think simon was around? it really would make lots of sense if he was

Anime and Manga Log [06/04/2023]
This week featured the monthly Jump SQ chapters, a brand new Choujin X chapter, and Ron Kamonohashi returning for Part 2. I also got my copy of March Comes in like a Lion Vol.1. I’ve been looking forward to that ever since it was licensed many years ago. A very good week of manga and anime overall. Discussion with spoilers about the following series below the Keep Reading: One Piece 1085 Blue Box 103 Mashle 158 Show-ha Shoten 19 Ron Kamonohashi: Deranged Detective 97 Pokemon Horizons Ep.9 Soaring Sky! Precure Ep. 18
One Piece 1085: One Piece has been going stronger than ever before in recent months. The Straw Hat pirates defeated Kaido in Wano and moved to Egghead. Since then the story has only begun to accelerate at a faster pace. The situation on Egghead is teased to end in a way that will shock the world. Meanwhile, Shanks has taken out Kid, Blackbeard took out Law, Kuma is climbing the Red Line, Garp went to Pirate Island, and now Sabo is finally revealing the second half of the Reverie. The status quo of the world government at beginning to crumble. This week’s chapter expanded on the D lineage in the Nefertari family. Naturally Cobra has learned too much and must die. Poor guy, too smart for his own good. We got a tease to the true form of the elders and even bigger teases to several fundamental story questions. The chapter concludes by showing how Wapol and Vivi ended up together. Oda’s paneling and layouts were oddly clearer than usual this chapter which was refreshing. Sometimes it can be hard to tell what’s going on these days. Its so surreal to essentially be getting a world update intermission in the middle of an arc. Oda is moving all the characters into position for the home stretch of the story. I’m sure the battle for the final Road Poneglyph will be fierce. Hopefully next week we get back to Egghead. I really can’t wait to see what fate befalls our crew. This is the opening act to the sequence of events that will bring the series to its end game scenario. Blue Box 103: This week’s chapter went by in the blink of an eye. It was fast paced as Taiki and Chinatsu rush to meet back at the frozen lake we saw last chapter. The climax starts in Taiki’s POV with him running up to the lake and they both sit down on the frozen lake. Miura used 3 back to back spread pages for the moment. The first spread shows there is nothing between Taiki and Chinatsu any longer. They are isolated in the same space, quite literally without panel boarders, where only the spine crease separates them now. On paper it gives the image of both looking each other in the eye. The second and third spread follows Taiki saying his long awaited confession and the camera zooming out for impact. Its just these two, and his words are the only thing that can be heard. Now the big question is will the confession stick or will something interfere with conveying those words? Knowing the nature of this series I think it will take some time for those words to resonate with Chinatsu. I hope next week starts with the same scene in Chinatsu’s POV. Surely the series can’t be ending soon. At least this is sure to shake the status quo going forward. They might be more self conscious of their living situation. Regardless, good on Taiki for this taking big step forward. Mashle 158: After what felt like a billion years, the final fight comes to a conclusion. I do enjoy Mashle for the most part. I think Mash’s out of this world solutions to overcome supernatural magic is hiralous, and that was of course on full display in the final fight. But I can’t deny this last arc has been a slog to read. Mash underwent power ups twice which severely slowed the plot. My theory is Komoto was told or decided that the manga shouldn’t end while the anime is airing. Anyhow, the fight comes to a close with the power of friendship. Current friends and former foes unite to help Mash deal the final punch to the villain. It was a great moment that culminates the series theme of Mash not only finding a place in a world of magic, but also be wanted and respected by his peers. I can only imagine there’s a 3-5 chapters left at this point. Its always great when a series closes out on a high note. Show-ha Shoten 19: This series is like Bakuman, but about comedy. It focuses on an aspiring Manzai duo learning the ropes of how to develop and perform a routine. Up to this point we’ve seen various rivals emerge which has shown us that our protagonist duo is the underdog in the upcoming competition. They aren’t bad at Manzai, in fact they have a natural talent at winning the crowd over. The biggest weakness however is their lack experience. They have learned something from each encounter to become better at Manzai. This arc was basically a pre-show to the main event. It established another main antagonist to overcome in the finals. The most important event of the chapter was learning about how to land jokes in relation to peers on the same stage and understanding the flow which comes out of that. This pre-show competition finished in a tie. That’s an expected outcome because losing would be demoralizing at this stage and the win should obviously be saved for the main event. This shows how main duo is on par at the bare minimum with the supposed best in their age bracket. Its going to be exciting to see how the finals unfold. While its possible the upcoming competition is the final arc (and Obata tends to not work on long series) I hope the series will continue for some time afterwards. Obata’s artwork is always a real treat. The loose linework gives the characters a lot of fun expressions. It seriously helps to add personality to the Manzai scenes and makes them easier to follow. Ron Kamonohashi: Deranged Detective 97: After taking a short break, Ron Kamonohashi returns to begin part 2. We left off with the defeat of Milo Moriarty on the cruise ship. He wanted to push Ron past his breaking point by forcing him to embrace his lineage and kill someone. However, thanks to the bond of friendship forged with Toto throughout the series, Ron was able to overcome his inner instinct. Milo ultimately sank into the ocean and died.... until actually he washed up on a Moriarty island. I didn’t think for a moment the series was ending. While the cruise ship was the best case to date, it certainly never once came off as the final confirmation. We had barely scratched the surface of the Moriarty family and Milo’s motivations. So begins Part 2 with a setting change to Blue Academy. Ron was finally able to get his graduation diploma, but they wanted him to teach to fill-in for a professor gone missing. Ron of courses passes the buck to Toto. There’s also several classmate characters whom I imagine will be the commentators and friends for this section of the story. I always find it refreshing when this series isn’t in murder case mode. The characters get so much more breathing when their focus isn’t meeting the plot objective of the arc. Nothing much to specifically talk about yet. The new character designs are good as usual from Akira Amano. Hopefully the school setting won’t stick for that long. I don’t think this series is good enough to stay in the same location for long periods of time. I think it would be cool if Ron and Milo had to team up against the threat teased at the end of Part 1 at some point. Pokemon Horizons Ep.9: The gang landed in Paldea and this brings the anime quite close to adapting SV. I was a little surprised when the upcoming episodes revealed they would be going to Paldea since I was under the impression the anime would be doing its own thing. But, I was even more surprised to see a certain name come up in the episode titles. First off, the plot of this episode was Riko getting one last burst of motivation to show that she is committed to the journey ahead. It was silly how she came within a second of figuring out her favorite streamer is on the ship. Dot will most certainly become a trainer down the road as the owner of Quaxly. I also can’t help but wonder why Riko went to school in Kanto (the answer is obviously to keep Ash parallels). Roy didn’t have much to do this week. Now, next week, is the debut of everyone’s favorite Champion Rank trainer Nemona. It looks like Riko might challenge the first gym leader as well. I’ll be curious to see if Riko plans to face off against the gyms throughout the series. If that’s the case, Horizons will most definitely be running for a full 3 years. Lastly, my current theory about the plot is Riko’s mom encouraged her attend school in Kanto so the pendent could be safe. Then the information was leaked to the villain group, and the mom had to hire a bodyguard group to bring Riko home. The mom probably cares more about the pendent than Riko. Her absence in this episode is very suspicious. A new batch of episode titles should be revealed this week which will be very insightful to what’s ahead. Soaring Sky! Precure 18: After what felt like an eternity, Cure Butterfly is here at last. This is once again a history making cure for the franchise being the first “Adult” cure at 18 years old. This moment is long overdue because Ageha not being a cure has gotten in the way of her participating in the battles and plot arcs. Especially have to sit out the recent multi episode trip to Skyland. The debut episode was honestly fantastic and a pure showcase of what makes Ageha so awesome. Having the transformation and attack scene animated by Yuu Yoshiyama was a pleasant surprise as well. I do have a few nitpicks. I don’t think Toei is brave enough yet to give the adult cure a personal struggle to overcome because since this is a kid’s show, adults are role models, especially someone who is just a few years older than the main cast. They have to leave the impression that older teens know what they’re doing in life. Typically becoming a Precure is a moment of change for the character whether that’s coming into their own, recognizing their inner potential, or the need to become better. Ageha transforms just because wouldn’t that be cool within the context of the episode. The girls simply needed one more cure to assist in the battle. In the end Ageha becoming a cure is much deserved. It definitely embodies the spirit of this year’s theme that anyone can be a hero. Someone who is older can still have the heart to become a precure. Ageha x Tsubasa duo attack coming up next week to balance out the team.

My Top Posts in 2022:

I had to share my impressions of the New York Philharmonic in the newly renovated David Geffen Hall. For reference: our seats were on the orchestra level, row EE, in the center rear of the hall just under the first tier. For further reference: I’ve been a season-ticket subscriber to the NY Philharmonic since 2007. They have performed in the same hall since 1964 but it just underwent a renovation that fixed its notoriously bad acoustics, moved the stage forward by 30 feet so the audience is closer, and updated all the facilities. Tonight’s concert was Mozart’s Piano Concerto No. 22 and Bruckner’s Symphony No. 7, two of my favorite pieces by two of my favorite composers.
I love the sound of the renovated hall. I’ve never FELT the Philharmonic’s sound like I did tonight. The basses and cellos, and all the strings, had a depth to their sound. I could hear the articulations more than ever. All of the instruments could be heard more clearly than before. I thought the delicacy of the Mozart piano concerto came out and that the piano was almost too soft compared to the orchestra. Maybe the piano was too loud before? Or the orchestra was straining to be heard over the piano? I thought the concerto was lovely nevertheless.
Bruckner’s Symphony No. 7 was incredible. I was hanging on every note. The brass sounded clear as bells. It helped that all of the brass were in the center of the stage, behind the winds, (and directly in front of where we were sitting in the center rear of the hall) instead of off to the side and way in the back like they used to be. I could feel those gorgeous brass chorales in the second movement. And the cymbal crash and timpani roll at the climax of the second movement was like an explosion of sound! There were other little things that I hadn’t noticed all the times I’d heard the piece before, like harmonies in the winds, or the first horn doubling the cellos in the opening, or some sharp menacing notes from the basses in the finale.
I almost feel cheated for all the years that I heard this orchestra in the old hall. I didn’t know what I was missing! I can’t wait to go back and hear them play there again. We have tickets to 3 more concerts this season and I might have to go by myself once or twice.

FreshDirect misdelivered someone else’s order to our building and now there’s fresh produce and two cases of Lacroix sitting in the hallway. I feel bad about food waste but we don’t have that much room in our refrigerator for more produce. And would taking the food be stealing, like taking someone’s package?
On the other hand FreshDirect is not going to come back and pick up this order and redeliver it. So it’s going to sit in the hallway for a couple of days and then one of us will put it in the trash.

Ramble of the month March 2023: What if Batman Begins had begun the DCEU?
Another late ramble this month, I’m afraid. I had planned to write this up and more during a recent week off, but an atypically long walk took a lot of my energy, and it’s taken me the better part of a week to rest and recover from that. Anyway, after spending last month using the X-Men to x-toll the virtues of being mindful over accents in adaptational media, this month I’m shifting over the world of DC Comics. By now, many of us are aware that DC is about to undergo a reboot of its live-action film universe, and some are pointing to all manner of behind-the-scenes issues on this, wasting time finger-pointing and so on.
For me, this is no surprise; DC’s home animation film run the DCAMU recently underwent a similar reboot, with the so-called Tomorrow-verse now in the process of being released over however many films that will last. This is also no surprise, because rebooting is DC’s stock-in-trade; ever since the Crisis on Multiple Earths crossover event on the 1980’s, DC has used reboots to update, simplify and so on with the source material. In that sense, it makes DC a more flexible source material to adapt because the source material is regularly being cancelled and started over. That, in turn, means that the very concept of “canon” becomes rather a loose term in this area.
However, the one thing that does come to mind with all this is why didn’t the DCEU start sooner? When I consider DC’s live-action offerings from the era preceding 2013’s Man of Steel, they had a very good thing going with the Dark Knight trilogy, in-between the films of which were poorer offerings like Superman Returns and Green Lantern. These were poor less due to casting and more poor handling by those working behind the scenes, but nonetheless the question remains; what if DC and Warner Brothers had had the vision to use Batman Begins as the start-point for a wider DC cinematic universe?
The idea isn’t totally fantastic, given that DC created the Justice League in the 1950’s or 1960’s, as a modernised successor to the Justice Society of the 1940’s, and indeed Stan Lee’s first Marvel comics title the Fantastic Four was created as competition for the Justice League, with the Avengers coming later. As such, it would have made sense for DC to lead the way again, to one-up the viable superhero films made by Fox and Sony with Marvel film-rights by not only taking their heroes seriously, but working towards a Justice League film.
Last year, I did a few rambles looking at how a real 90’s MCU would look, and this ramble will be going down the same route, only this time using Batman Begins as a starting point instead of reinventing everything from scratch. So, without further ado, here’s the first stage of a DCEU with Batman Begins, well, beginning it…
2005: Batman Begins
2006: Man of Steel
2007: Wonder Woman
2008: The Dark Knight, Green Lantern
2009: The Flash, Man of Steel 2
2010: Aquaman, Justice League
This first stage re-works 2006’s Superman Returns with a film that bears the title of Snyder’s 2013 film, though as I’ll show in a moment, it’s very much adjusted to correct some of that film’s issues. Wonder Woman is then brought forward a full decade, after which the films shift to 2 per year, levelling up to 3 per year only after the first Justice League film. In the two-per-year part of this stage, we bring back the Dark Knight largely as was, give GL a major overhaul compared to the 2011 version, then we have a Flash film without going into Flashpoint. After that, a follow-up film for Superman and a solo film for Aquaman fill up the time pre-Justice League. Now let’s look at these films one by one for a bit more detail…
Batman Begins (2005) Directed by Christopher Nolan
Bruce Wayne/Batman = Christian Bale
Alfred Pennyworth = Michael Caine
Ducard/Ra's Al Ghul = Liam Neeson
Fake Ra's Al Ghul = Ken Watanabe
Lucius Fox = Morgan Freeman
Jonathan Crane/Scarecrow = Cillian Murphy
Rachel Dawes = Katie Holmes
Carmine Falconie = Tom Wilkinson
James "Jim" Gordon = Gary Oldman
Commissioner Loeb = Colin McFarlane
Det. Flass = Mark Boone Junior
As I’ve said, the first film of this alternate DCEU is almost completely unchanged. The only difference might be the odd newspaper or computer screen hinting at a wider universe; copies of the Daily Planet, computers in the bat-cave trolling the databases of Star Labs or Lex Corp for info on Scarecrow’s fear toxin, and so on. These subtle hints could also be joined by the odd spoken reference to those companies being rivals to Wayne Enterprises. Nothing major, just a little hint here and there that while the Batman is alone in Gotham, he is part of a larger world.
Man of Steel (2006) Directed by Roland Emerich
Superman/Kal-El/Clark Kent = Brandon Routh
Lois Lane = Kate Bosworth
Martha Kent = Diane Lane
Jonathan Kent = Kevin Costner
General Zod = Michael Shannon
Jor-El = Russell Crowe
Lara Lor-Van = Marina Sirtis
Faora-Ul = Lucy Lawless
Dr Emil Hamilton = Richard Schiff
Dr Silas Stone = Rocky Carroll
General Swanwick = Harry Lennix
Perry White = Sam Neill
Jimmy Olsen = Rider Strong
Now we’re getting to our first Superman instalment, and there’s some major shifts here. I’ve kept the Superman and Lois from Superman Returns, while taking the Kents, Zod, Jor-El, Hamilton and Swanwick all from the Snyder Man of Steel. Everyone else is my own selection, and I put Roland Emerich in as director because let’s face it, if you want Zod’s group coming over like the first contact out of Independence Day, you get that film’s director to come along and do it. I also add in Dr Silas Stone as a nod to the idea of Cyborg showing up down the line, albeit in his original Teen Titans role (the Titans being deserving of some serious film exploration instead of being increasingly kiddified in animation).
Plot-wise, the film follows a similar thrust to the Snyder Man of Steel, but without the stupid death scene for Jonathan Kent, not to mention having Superman be more guarded with his dual identity. The film would also be tonally and visually lighter without being goofy, cheesy or cliché (all something Superman can too easily become if you get the wrong people involved).
Wonder Woman (2007) Directed by Gates McFadden
Diana/Wonder Woman = Kate Beckinsale
Steve Trevor = Heath Ledger
Hippolyta = Connie Nielsen
Antiope = Robin Wright
Etta Candy = Lucy Davies
Ares = David Thewlis
Enrich Luddendorf = Danny Hutson
Dr Isabel Maru/Doctor Poison = Jolene Blalock
Sameer = Saïd Taghmaoui
Charlie = Ewen Bremner
Chief = Robert Beltran
Couple of Trek links here, the first of which being that it’s Gates McFadden, the actress who once played Dr Beverley Crusher, that I’d be putting in charge. While Gates was saddled with one of the worst Trek stories imaginable back when she was allowed to direct a TNG episode, she did as a good job with it as could be done, and DC’s best move on the 2017 Wonder Woman was putting a woman in the director’s chair. This is the first female superhero in comics, so it makes sense to have a woman directing the film as well as leading it in front of the camera. The other Trek link is Robert Beltran, who is one of the few actors I know of that could play the Native American character from the 2017 film if it was being done in 2007.
Cast-wise, a lot of changes and a lot of carry-overs, with most of the latter being in the supporting cast. Going back to 2007, Kate Beckinsale is the obvious pick of that era for Wonder Woman, and I’ve picked Heath Ledger for Steve Trevor because I suspect he’d do better in that role than as the Joker, both in acting terms and to avoid exacerbating the mental health issues that led to his suicide in real life. In terms of plot, it’s kind of similar to the original film, but with a change to any framing scenes at either end of the film to account for the change in continuity. Also, there’d be a behind-the-scenes memo that nothing in later Wonder Woman films set pre-present day can contradict how she appears in the present.
The Dark Knight (2008) Directed by Christopher Nolan
Bruce Wayne/Batman = Christian Bale
Alfred Pennyworth = Michael Caine
The Joker = Willem Dafoe
Harvey Dent/Two-Face = Aaron Eckhart
Lucius Fox = Morgan Freeman
Jonathan Crane/Scarecrow = Cillian Murphy
Rachel Dawes = Katie Holmes
James "Jim" Gordon = Gary Oldman
Commissioner Loeb = Colin McFarlane
Sal Maroni = Eric Roberts
With this film, there’s a couple of changes in the cast. First of all, the scheduling conflict that prevented Katie Holmes reprising her role as Rachel Dawes wouldn’t have occurred, and second, with Heath Ledger having played Steve Trevor in Wonder Woman, that frees up the role of Joker for Willem Dafoe, one of the few common fan-casts of the internet I can agree with. Here, the bigger change is with regards to the plot; since Batman is gearing up to work with other heroes in the Justice League, having him take the blame for Harvey’s crimes as Two-Face wouldn’t work.
Instead, Batman provides Gordon with falsified evidence that Dent only committed his crimes under duress from the Joker following his scarring, and both men live to be incarcerated in Arkham Asylum. This strains the Batman/Gordon relationship, but a hint is left that the two men may yet reconcile. Maybe not the iconic ending we got on the original, but better if you’re making something in a wider universe instead a stand-alone trilogy.
Green Lantern (2008) Directed by Matthew Vaughan
Green Lantern/Hal Jordan = Ben Affleck
Carol Ferris = Liv Tyler
Carl Ferris = Kurt Russell
Tom Kalmaku = Taika Waititi
Andy = Connor Trinneer
Biff = Josh Lucas
William Hand/Black Hand = Wes Bentley
Atrocitus = Liev Schreiber
Thaal Sinestro = Mark Strong
Kilowog = Tyrese Gibson
Tomar-Re = Hugh Laurie
Salaak = Dominic West
Abin Sur = Jude Law
Arisia Rrab = Anna Paquin
Ganthet = Patrick Stewart
Sayd = Glenn Close
Appa Ali Apsa = Hugo Weaving
Major overhaul was always going to be needed here, because let’s face it, the 2011 Green Lantern film was not brilliant. There’s a number of reasons for that, starting with the rushing of the Parallax story arc, so that’s totally removed and replaced with the Hal Jordan origin arc as shown in the pre-Blackest Night reboot, complete with Black Hand and Atrocitus as the main antagonists. Second, the film will also take a more GL Corp-centric approach to its opening act, and does a longer time-span for the training montage when Hal joins the corps.
Third is the matter of casting; Taika Waititi and Mark Strong are the only actors remaining from the 2011 version, and I’ve put in Ben Affleck and Liv Tyler for Hal Jordan and Carol Ferris simply because while the film Armageddon isn’t everyone’s cup of tea, Affleck and Tyler did well as an on-screen couple, and it’s a cool nod back to that film. I’ve also tried to incorporate more named corps members, plus some bigger-name actors for the Guardians. Needless to say, I think Patrick Stewart, Glenn Close and Hugo Weaving as the main ones is some quality casting. Finally, I put Matthew Vaughan in as director based on his work on X-Men: First Class.
The Flash (2009) Directed by JJ Abrams
Barry Allen/The Flash = Matt Damon
Iris West = Drew Barrymore
Det. Ira West = William Sadler
Dr Henry Allen = Harrison Ford
Darryl Fyre = William Russ
Capt. Singh = Faran Tahir
Patty Spivot = Cameron Diaz
Tina McGee = Pauley Perrette
Captain Cold/Leonard Snart = Rob Lowe
Heatwave/Mick Rory = Ron Perlman
Captain Boomerang/Digger Harkness = Hugh Jackman
Mirror Master/Sam Scudder = Terrence Howard
Golden Glider/Lisa Snart = Parkey Posey
Weather Wizard/Mark Mardon = Michael Fassbender
While Abrams’ work on Star Wars is questionable at best, his work on the Star Trek reboot films has earned him a place in this alternative DCEU as the director of the Flash. Now since 2009 was when Flash was rebooting the DC Comics universe by way of Flashpoint, this film would inevitably avoid going down that route. Instead, the film would be more a classic origin arc that pits Barry Allen against the Rogues. Keeping the plot this simple allows a bit more leeway to pad it out by looking into who Barry is, what he can do with his powers and so on.
Cast-wise, thinking ahead to the idea of a Justice League film, I had to pick Matt Damon just to get him paired up with Ben Affleck again (the two having previously worked together on films like Dogma and Good Will Hunting). The rest of the cast is a veritable star-studded line-up, with Drew Barrymore chosen as Iris because she and Damon voice-acted together on the animated film Titan A.E. and I wanted to recreate that duo. NCIS fans will also note a role in this for now-former actress Pauley Perrette, largely because the role is for a forensic scientist and the film is about a forensic scientist superhero. If that’s not something screaming out for the woman that played Abbey Sciuto, I don’t know what is.
Man of Steel 2 (2009) Directed by Ron Howard
Superman/Kal-El/Clark Kent = Brandon Routh
Lois Lane = Kate Bosworth
J'onn J'onzz/Martian Manhunter = Chiwetel Ejiofor
Martha Kent = Diane Lane
Jonathan Kent = Kevin Costner
Jor-El = Russell Crowe
Dr Emil Hamilton = Richard Schiff
Lex Luthor = Kelsey Grammer
John Corbin/Metallo = Orlando Bloom
Eve Teschmacher = Jennifer Lawrence
Mercy Graves = Scarlett Johansson
General Swanwick = Harry Lennix
Perry White = Sam Neill
Jimmy Olsen = Rider Strong
Cat Grant = January Jones
Steve Lombard = Josh Brolin
Capt. Maggie Sawyer = Jeri Ryan
Insp. Turpin = Colin Farrell
For our second Superman solo film, the helm shifts to Ron Howard, and we get into the more classic Superman vs Lex Luthor dynamic. This time, however, we take a very different tack to Snyder’s Batman vs Superman. This time, Clark Kent is struggling with his Superman identity because his nature as an alien is outed in that identity and the public struggles to accept this, something magnified by the anti-alien businessman Lex Luthor. In this story, Superman meets and gets advice from fellow alien J’onn J’onzz, the Martian Manhunter, and the main physical threat comes from Metallo, an anti-alien radical that Luthor turns into a Kryptonite-powered cyborg.
Here again, we get a lot of star power in among the new cast, and again, we’re not necessarily going to see Superman being casual with his dual identity. The MCU might play it that way, Snyder might play it that way; I don’t, and I hope James Gunn doesn’t either. The superhero secret identity concept is important, especially to superheroes like Superman who founded the concept, and I wouldn’t want any film in this alternate DCEU to pretend otherwise.
Aquaman (2010) Directed by Jonathan Frakes
Arthur Curry/Aquaman = Chris Pine
Thomas Curry = Bill Pullman
Atlanna = Kim Catrall
Mera = Felicity Jones
Orm/Ocean Master = Taylor Kitsch
Vulko = Jonathan Frakes
Dr Stephen Chin = Tadanobu Asano
Black Manta = Idris Elba
If reviewing Trek shows and having already worked a few other Trek alumni into this DCEU isn’t making it clear that I like Trek, having the Aquaman film be directed by and feature Jonathan Frakes should. This guy is a good director and actor, and I’d be curious to see what he might have done with a superhero like Aquaman. Bringing that film forward to 2010 certainly requires making some changes to James Wan’s version, as does the fact that one actor from the 2018 film is already cast in another role within this alternate DCEU.
For the lead actor, I’ve put in Chris Pine just because I think he’s a closer aesthetic match to the source material. This then brings about changes all across the board, with swapping out Amber “husband-hurter” Heard being the most crucial. In her place, we have Felicity Jones, another rare instance where I agree with the internet fan-casting of others. Frakes plays Vulko in addition to directing the film, and so on. Plot-wise, the film is similar to the 2018 film in places, but shows Arthur only learning who he is as an adult, and his mother usurped instead of believed executed, among other changes.
Justice League (2010) Directed by Steven Spielberg
Bruce Wayne/Batman = Christian Bale
Superman/Kal-El/Clark Kent = Brandon Routh
Diana/Wonder Woman = Kate Beckinsale
Green Lantern/Hal Jordan = Ben Affleck
Barry Allen/The Flash = Matt Damon
J'onn J'onzz/Martian Manhunter = Chiwetel Ejiofor
Arthur Curry/Aquaman = Chris Pine
Snapper Carr = Josh Duhamel
Protex/Robert Grey = Keith David/Chris Evans
Primaid/Carla Jones = Zoe Saldana
Armek = Kevin Michael Richardson
Fluxus = Michael Dorn
A-Mortal = David Warner
Tronix = Eric Bana
Zenturion = Dominic Keating
ZüM = James Marsden
Alfred Pennyworth = Michael Caine
Lois Lane = Kate Bosworth
General Swanwick = Harry Lennix
I often wonder what a Spielberg superhero film would be like, so I figure Justice League would be a good project for him to helm. Unlike the 2017 live action film, we’re not doing anything related to Darkseid on this one, nor are we taking any plot already used by an animated Justice League film. Instead, this is based on the JLA: New World Order arc by Grant Morrison. In that arc, a group of alien super-beings come to Earth, supposedly to help, but turn out to be White Martians, the villainous counter-parts to the peaceful Green Martians like J’onn J’onzz.
As a result, we get a more interesting plot for our heroes, and one that allows the one founding league member without a solo film of his own more plot-time. A few key supporting cast members from past films also come back, and we also get Snapper Carr worked in, taking the same tack as the Justice League animated series and showing the League’s long-time “sidekick” as a reporter covering the events that transpire. As to the Martians, I purposely double-cast their leader because all Martians in DC lore are shape-shifters, so I thought having one change actors with a shape-shift would be cool.
So, that’s my alternate DCEU with Batman Begins as the kick-off point, or at least up as far as a first Justice League film. If anyone wants to see more of this alternate film universe, or the 90’s Marvel one I did rambles on last year, please let me know. Until the next ramble, ta-ta for now.

Evidence 4 : Explain This ?
London has repeatedly claimed to have not used or been on MeWe for ages or years in fact even saying it is not since she withdrew from a lot of her social media in 2019....neglecting to mention to mention that she had activated her MeWe at the start 2022 (first photo). A time that coincided with this phase of the admissions and those events detailed on this blog in the post ‘Evidence 2’ (20th October 2024)
So, explain this? Let us jump to the end of 2023 and the height the war of lies and abuse. I keep getting alerts that the Naturist Lady is commenting etc, on my MeWe account. But, because she has blocked me, I cannot see them, but still get the alerts. This irritates me because I have never blocked her and I want to know what she is saying, what is she up to ? – it’s bugging me. (see second photo)
I ended up ‘tagging’ the Naturist Lady MeWe account in a comment.
Note : ‘Tagging’ means that the account ‘tagged’ gets an alert to tell them that they have been mentioned in a comment or post. This is very important for what happens next.
London Andrews replies !
(third photo)
Explain that ?
I tag Naturist Lady that London says she has nothing to do with….but London herself replies. It also begs the question, who is stalking who ?
She only made this mistake, this once, but it is massively revealing.
And note on the abusive content of London’s messages. This matches the content of messages that were undeniably from London over on FaceBook when she attacked and blackmailed me. And again I emphasize that London repeatedly says she was no longer using MeWe.
Explain this ?
The only way I can work out how this happened is, when she had the alert and was presented with the MeWe log-in menu, for what ever reason (anger, drink, whatever), she clicked on the wrong one. So, she logged on as London Andrews, instead of Naturist Lady.
It’s almost like another admission it was her ?
Lastly, something recent. Through August and September of this year (2024) MeWe underwent a major update. To maintain your account you had to do a little bit admission. If you did not, the account would be suspended until the account is reactivated. These dormant accounts will be deleted next year to free-up data capacity. When you do this activation, you get a little green badge at the side of your name.
(photo four)
Here’s London’s ‘dormant’ MeWe account right now, with that little badge. Meaning London has been MeWe. You know, that MeWe she has doesn’t use, has never been on…...
Go on, explain ?

'Haven't got long': Miriam Margolyes gives candid health update
Beloved actress and author Miriam Margolyes has given a candid update on her health, saying that she knows she “hasn’t got long to live”.
The 83-year-old international treasure underwent heart surgery to replace her aortic valve last year. Miriam has also opened up about living with spinal stenosis.
The condition impacts the lower back or neck when the spinal canal narrows and puts pressure on the spinal cord and nerves.
“When you know that you haven’t got long to live – and I’m probably going to die within the next five or six years, if not before – I’m loath to leave behind performing. It’s such a joy,” she told UK’s Telegraph.
The actress, known for Harry Potter and Call the Midwife, said the physical constraints of acting at an older age are “limiting and depressing”.
“I yearn to play roles that don’t confine me to wheelchairs, but I’m just not strong enough,” she said.
Miriam is saving up her cash
Miriam Margolyes released her second book last year, and came here to film her third Australian road trip docuseries (above).
That series, Miriam Margolyes: Impossibly Australian, is streaming on ABC iview.
The outspoken octagenarian says she keeps working because her financial situation plays on her mind. Miriam has been with her Australian partner Heather Sutherland since 1968.
She told Radio Times, “I’m worried that I won’t have enough money for carers when I finally get paralysed or whatever it is that’s going to happen to me.
“I’m saving up cash so that I can pay people to look after me and my partner.
“We don’t have children, so I need to make sure I’m going to be looked after in the way that I’ve become accustomed.”
Miriam Margolyes has previously revealed that she’s tapped into a lucrative side hustle: making hundreds of thousands of pounds on personalised video site Cameo.
“[The videos are] usually to celebrate someone’s birthday, wedding anniversary or marriage. I’ve got 30 of them to do today,” she told Radio Times.
“I find my [late-in-life popularity] puzzling and very gratifying. I can’t totally explain it. But I do credit Graham Norton with a great deal of my success.
“I was always told that I would come into my own when I was older. I just didn’t know I would have to be this old for it to happen.”
We love you Miriam.

A vintage Ford Mustang is one of the finest American muscle cars
The history of the Ford Mustang muscle car
The Mustang is a car that was made to be powerful and stylish. It has a long history, dating all the way back to the 1960s. The original Mustang was designed to be a compact car that would be affordable for the average person. It quickly became popular with young people and has been associated with rebellion ever since.
The Mustang has undergone many changes over the years, but it has always kept its core identity. It is still one of the most popular cars on the road today and shows no signs of slowing down. If you’re looking for a car that has style, power, and a rich history, then the Mustang is the perfect choice for you. Thanks for reading and learn more about Mustangs below.
The first Mustang was introduced in 1964 and was based on the Ford Falcon. It was a small, two-door car that was available with either a six- or eight-cylinder engine. The Mustang quickly became popular with young people and was seen as a symbol of rebellion.
In 1967, the Mustang underwent its first major redesign. The new model was larger and more powerful than the original. It also featured new styling elements, such as a longer hood and flared wheel wells.
The 1969 Mustang is arguably the most iconic version of the car. It was featured in the movie “Bullitt” starring Steve McQueen. In the movie, McQueen drives a high-powered Mustang through the streets of San Francisco. The chase scene is considered one of the best in cinematic history.
The Mustang underwent another redesign in 1974. The car was made larger and heavier, which made it less popular with young people. It wasn’t until the early 1980s that the Mustang began to regain its popularity.
In 1982, the Mustang received a new engine option, a turbocharged four-cylinder. This made the car more powerful and gave it better acceleration. The Mustang also received a new interior design and updated exterior styling.
The most recent major redesign of the Mustang took place in 2015. The car is now based on an all-new platform that is lighter and more rigid than the previous model. It also features an updated exterior design and a more powerful engine.
The Mustang is a car that has a long and rich history. It is a car that is loved by many and has been an icon for over 50 years. If you’re looking for a car with style, power, and a great story, then the Mustang is the perfect choice for you.
For Michael Savage of New Canaan, CT., collecting and appreciating Ford Mustangs has been a life-long passion along with his love of Koi ponds and collecting Legos.
How the Ford Mustang has evolved over the years
The Ford Mustang is an American icon. It’s a symbol of freedom, power, and independence. For 50 years, the Mustang has been one of the most popular cars on the road. It’s been through many changes, but it’s always been true to its roots.
The first Mustang was introduced in 1964. It was a small, sporty car that was perfect for young adults. The Mustang was an instant hit, and it quickly became one of America’s most popular cars.
In 1965, the Mustang got its first major makeover. The new model was longer and wider than the original. It had a more powerful engine and new features like disc brakes and air conditioning. The Mustang continued to be a huge success, and it became known as a “muscle car.”
In the 1970s, the Mustang went through some changes. It got a new look and a more powerful engine. However, gas prices were rising, and people were buying smaller cars. As a result, sales of the Mustang began to decline.
In 1979, the Mustang was completely redesigned. It was now a much larger car, and it had a V8 engine. The new Mustang was a hit, and sales began to rebound.
The 1980s were a tough time for the automotive industry. A recession led to high interest rates and fuel prices. As a result, car sales declined sharply. The Mustang was no exception, and sales fell to an all-time low in 1982.
In 1984, the Mustang was given a new engine, and sales began to improve. The Mustang continued to be popular throughout the 1980s and 1990s. In 1999, the Mustang was completely redesigned again. It was now a modern muscle car, and it was very successful.
Today, the Mustang is as popular as ever. It’s available with a variety of engines, and it’s one of the most affordable sports cars on the market. The Mustang is truly an American icon, and it’s sure to remain popular for many years to come.
The features that make the Ford Mustang a unique and popular muscle car
The Ford Mustang is a car that was first manufactured by Ford in 1964. It is based on the Ford Falcon, a compact car. The Mustang was originally designed to be a “pony car”, which is a term used to describe a small, sporty car.
The Mustang’s popularity increased rapidly after it was first released, and it has been one of the most popular cars in America ever since. In 1965, just one year after the Mustang was released, Ford sold over half a million Mustangs.
The Mustang has undergone several redesigns over the years, but it has always retained its basic look and feel. The current generation of Mustangs was released in 2015, and it features an updated design that pays homage to the classic Mustang while still looking modern.
The Mustang is powered by a variety of different engines, but the most popular option is the V8 engine. This gives the Mustang plenty of power and makes it a great choice for anyone who wants a fast and powerful car.
If you’re looking for a unique and stylish car, then the Ford Mustang is definitely worth considering. It’s a true American icon that has been loved by drivers for over 50 years.
Why people love driving Mustangs
There’s something about driving a Mustang that just feels cool. Maybe it’s the sleek design, the powerful engine or the fact that it’s a classic American muscle car. Whatever the reason, Mustang drivers love their cars and there’s good reason for it.
Mustangs have been around since 1964, when they were first introduced as a 1965 model. Since then, they’ve become one of the most popular cars on the road. Over 10 million Mustangs have been sold since they were first introduced and they’re still going strong today.
Mustangs are known for their unique style and performance. They’re available in a variety of colors and styles, so there’s sure to be one that suits your taste. And with powerful engines, Mustangs are built for speed.
If you’re looking for a cool car to drive, a Mustang is a great choice. They’re stylish, fast and fun to drive. So if you’re in the market for a new car, be sure to check out a Mustang. You won’t be disappointed.
How to find the best deal on a new or used Ford Mustang muscle car
The Ford Mustang is one of the most iconic and revered muscle cars of all time. It’s a true classic American car, and has been in production since 1964. If you’re in the market for a new or used Mustang, there are a few things you should keep in mind to get the best deal possible.
First and foremost, it’s important to do your research. There are a lot of different Mustang models out there, and it’s important to know which one is right for you. Take some time to read up on the different features and options available, and decide which ones are must-haves for you.
Once you’ve done your research, it’s time to start shopping around. Check out both dealerships and private sellers to see what kinds of deals they’re offering. Keep in mind that you may be able to negotiate a better price if you’re willing to pay cash, so don’t be afraid to haggle a bit.
Finally, it’s always a good idea to get a pre-purchase inspection (PPI) before buying any used car, but it’s especially important with a Mustang. This will help ensure that you’re getting a quality vehicle that will last for years to come.
Follow these tips and you’ll be sure to find the best deal on your new or used Ford Mustang muscle car. Happy shopping!
