While Austin had seen nearly every scary movie under the sun (she found herself being a glutton for punishment more often than not, not being able to sleep by herself for days afterwards), she had to admit that the Scream franchise was one of her favorites. She'd seen the parody movie, Scary Movie, first, which was probably part of the reason she hadn't been as scared of the movie as she normally would have been. Plus, Matthew Lillard and Skeet Ulrich helped.

"What's your favorite scary movie?" She whispered into Dylan's ear after approaching her from behind with a wicked grin and grabbing the other woman's waist playfully.

everyone knew what a witch looked like. at this time of year, a costume like that was an absolute classic, for making scares and also somehow for those who thought of halloween to dress up less scarily but more with other aspects in focus -- something that elmer had never really understood. the point was, he knew a witch costume when he saw one, despite witch costumes not really looking much like the witches he'd known back in the days.

"cool, a witch!" he complimented pointing with a finger gun. "i used to be the child of a witch!" so the church had said even though his mother technically hadn't been one, but when the inquisition arrived their word became law, mostly. "now i'm bacon. not sure if this is an upgrade or a downgrade." a hearty laughter followed in the wake of his silly commentary.

Blue Spring Paradise (High School themed event. Leviathan is depressed and the Demon Bros. try to cheer him up by helping him live his Slice-of-Life anime fantasies);

Halloween Prank Problems (Yet another Halloween themed event. MC has a weird dream about the Demon Bros. and the Triworlds gang engaging in a prank war);

Valentine's Day Canceled?! + A Weird White Day (V-Day themed events. The gang tries to calm down angry and heartbroken spirits so they can celebrate the holidays in peace with MC);

Happy⭐Holidays! (Christmas themed. RAD's decorating event and Diavolo's wellbeing are in jeopardy as an ancient evil threatens to ruin the holidays);

Absolute Zero (Carnival/Mardi Gras themed. MC becomes the representant of a major winter event, all the while trying to solve a huge crisis of dying crops);

Revolution of the Stained Glass Flower (Band themed. When ancient demonic treasures are unearthed, a powerful reality-bending relic is discovered).

The inflatable tire around her waist served as an excellent buffer for the clumsy-on-skates redhead. Especially as she skated over to her friend on shaky legs, drink in hand and laughter bubbling up past her lips as she hit a snag in the carpet and nearly toppled over. Only saving herself by grasping onto Asli's arm with her free hand as the other woman stood in the arcade. "How I've been home for for what? A month? and I've ended up on skates more times than I have in the last five years is beyond me. Especially because I'm so bad at it." More laughter as she regained her balance and finally let go of the younger woman. "You look amazing, though!"

"Okay, but did this brilliant costume idea not disappoint or what?" There was a lopsided grin on her features as she looked over to her friend while the pair waited in line for the hayride. "I mean yeah, I'm a little cold. But when the light shines on me I sparkle like a diamond and I think that's pretty damn cool. Plus, like, what's a little hypothermia if it's for a good cause right? And I think looking this damn good is a great cause."

Head tilted back as she looked up at the haunted house before them, echoes of screams heard distantly from within, Austin sucked in breath through her teeth. She liked to talk a big game, watch the scary movies, jump off the highest cliffs, dive to the deepest depths, but behind all of that bravado was the truth- Austin was just as scared during all of those experiences as she'd been the time she'd gotten accidentally locked in the dark attic of her old family home when she was six. But she was never going to let that fear stop her. She didn't when she climbed out of that attic window and broke her arm and she wasn't now.

"You ready, Supe?" She asked, holding her voice steady as she tore her gaze away from the haunted house in front of them and focused on the man next to her. "You know, it's okay to be scared. I'm here if you want to hold my hand or anything. I'll protect ya." She mused, linking her arm through his. "You're not one of those guys who gets freaked out and punches the zombies, right? What's your fight or flight reflex like? You feel like a fight kind of guy, but I could be wrong. It's rare, but it does happen. Let's just do our best not to get kicked out, yeah?"

Standing at the entrance of the maze with a cup of apple cider in hand, Austin rocked from the balls of her feet to her heels and back again, debating on whether or not she wanted to trust her messed up sense of direction by venturing inside or not. Bringing the cup up to her lips, she blew on it slowly before taking a few sips of the warm liquid, making enough room in the cup that the contents of the flask she had in her jacket pocket wouldn't cause an overflow.

"So what do we think?" She asked as she gently bumped her hip against Aysel's, her brow raised in question as she looked to her with a teasing smirk. "Should we venture inside? End of lost in a maze of corn for an hour or so? Think my flask will hold out that long?" She mused.

"Well as I live an breathe! Safe Franklin!" She did her best impression of her mom's Texas accent as she called out to the older blonde, grin on her features as she approached. "I was hoping I'd run into you sooner rather than later. You look great." Reaching out, Austin didn't hesitate to wrap her arms around the bar owner in a tight embrace. "You out here as an upstanding business owner to judge this thing or are you competing? If you are which one's yours?"

Without warning, Austin ran up behind Atlas and jumped onto his back- or at least attempted to. With their heigh difference and her inability to jump any more than a few inches, she landed short of her goal and in typical Austin manner, instead of giving up, she climbed and clawed her way up her target's back until she was situated where she needed to be. "You think the chief of police is single?" She asked, a bit breathless from her efforts. "He's aging like a damn fine wine and I wouldn't mind a sip... or a gulp." She smirked.

Austin called out, having gotten too much momentum while on the skate floor and, in her very lacking skating skills, was unable to stop without crashing into something, or someone as it seemed was about to happen. "Redhead with no clue how to stop coming through!" She warned, arms outstretched as she quickly approached the blonde. "I'm so sorry!!" The apology was an advance notice before she ended up rolling directly in to the other woman, arms wrapping around her in a sad attempt at preventing them both from falling.
