As Lavender looked around the town, noticing the floral designs and decorations being put up around town. They look over to Obsidian and make their way over to him, a curious look on their face. The Darkrai hybrid looked over as they approached to acknowledge them.

“Hey, Obsidian? What is all this?”

“Ah, we’re getting everything ready for the Flower Festival. It’s an event we hold every spring as a way to celebrate the start of the years crops and warm weather. Also for good luck.”

“Whoa, that’s really cool! I’m… really glad I’ll be here to participate.” Lavender looked rather intrigued by Obsidian’s explanation of the tradition behind the event. “Plus, gives everyone an excuse to get together as a town next socialize.” He added in, chuckling a bit.

“It sounds super fun! What’s all going to be there?”

“Well, we have a craft area, to make flower crowns and other little crafts. A little market area for those who want to sell food or little trinkets and what not, a games area which will include a ring toss, bottle throwing, and other little games, and around the event’s end, we hold a dance. You do not have to participate if you do not wish to, of course.”

“Whoa.. is there anything I can do to help?” Lavender asked, eager to get things rolling.

“Actually… we’ve pretty much got everything ready to go, so you’re free to enjoy the event now.”

🖤 Soukoku Mixtape Exchange 2025 🖤

Hello and welcome, I am excited to announce the first ever skk mixtape fic exchange, currently planned for 2025!

I am just getting started on fully planning this event out, however I wanted to start setting up a place to share information, run polls, and answer questions related to the exchange. As I move further along in the planning process, things will shape up into a more formal exchange blog, but for now I simply wanted a central location for everything to be held.

What is a mixtape exchange?

A mixtape exchange is a fandom gift exchange where, instead of giving prompts, you choose a song to be used as the prompt. The person creating your gift will then pull their inspiration from the song you shared, using lyrics, rhythm, and/or tone of the song.

What is the theme of this exchange?

This particular exchange will focus on Soukoku, or the relationship between Dazai Osamu and Nakahara Chuuya from Bungou Stray Dogs.

What kind of works will be expected for this exchange?

For the first exchange, we will be open for fanfiction only. This is subject to change in the future.

Imagine if there is a cross guild, red haired pirate and Strawhat three way Davy back fight. And Mihawk and Zoro actually do get matched up but instead of a sword duel like they’d be hyped up for it’s a gun fight. And the only person that actually nominated a gunnman, Beckman, is the red hair pirates.

The first half of the competition is just Yasopp teaching both of them how to actually shoot a gun while Beckman watches amused at the identical look of upset on the swordsmen.

(This was all Shanks plan so he could go all get Mihawk on his crew)
