He had not done anything like this while he lived elsewhere and thus, it had been over eighteen years since doing this. "I was thinking after I kick your ass in this race, best two out of three if you will," he flashed his best friend a grin, "we can get a bite to eat. I've been dying to try the taco food truck."

Lenny enjoyed volunteering in Kismet Harbor when she could. It helped that Raymond and the girls planned on participating in the scavenger hunt so that she would get to see them during her volunteer shift and if they got wrapped up in their other activities, she knew they'd do it together as a family later. Lenny had just placed her name tag on her jacket and went to move towards the prize area, "Owen, hey," she smiled at him, "are you volunteering too or just passing through?"

She arguably spent far too much time dressing up Cobblestone Cafe as the holidays changed. "But this is going to look absolutely perfect on the front door of our home."

Genoveva had worked in the morning, running the morning news as she did most days a week. She had taken a small nap after and was feeling energized to get out and explore Kismet Harbor's winter festival. Though it rarely snowed, she loved that Kismet Harbor still got very into the winter holiday with decorations and even providing fake snow for children and adults alike to get the experience of a full-blown winter. She always made an ornament and had decided to go to that first before getting something to eat. Genoveva was standing at the ornament selection and sigh passed over her lips. "I always have a such a hard time deciding what color to go with," she said to the person standing next to her. "What color are you thinking?"

She had always been someone that enjoyed a community coming together and it was clear how to her how many people were truly enjoying the one-hundredth annual winter festival. Daisy had grabbed a hot chocolate from one of the local stands and was walking through the crowd when she spotted a familiar face. "Hey, Harlow, right?" She waved to the woman, having recognized her from checking out the local book club, "Daisy," she offered her name in return as she wouldn't be surprised if it hadn't stuck.

She shook her head, knowing that Nel might kill her for doing so. "But what good is an aunt that doesn't spoil her nephew, right?"

Spending time with Amayah was not always something Carmen go to do, but now that Amayah was not working and Carmen had a break in her work schedule, the two of them were getting their quality time. "How was Cairo?" Carmen looped her arm through Amayah's as they started to walk through the tents filled with holiday crafts and potential gifts. "How was dad? Is he coming home for Christmas?" The questioned was filled with hope that they'd all be together for the holiday, especially after the lack of wedding that occurred between Lexi and Hudson.

They hadn't known each other all that well prior to that her return with a few years between them, but she had remembered her mom telling her about how his significant other had gone missing. "These people are so talented with fake snow nonetheless."

He figured he could give it to his mother in hopes to make her smile. "What am I doing wrong? I feel like I'm either missing something or have too much of something."

He had just caught up with the parents of some students as he made his way through downtown Kismet Harbor until something caught his attention. The line wasn't all that long at the moment, "Snowball bowling?" Bradley peered at the sign that was near the front of the line, "You just watching or participating?"

"I swear, the older she gets, the less time she wants to spend with me."

She much enjoyed giving back to the community when she could. As she meandered around the tents filled with vendor tables, she spotted her sister and almost turned on her heel to avoid her. Except, she knew that she couldn't. "Hi, Calliope," Giovanna walked up to her, "that scarf looks nice on you," she offered a compliment in hopes to ease what Giovanna knew would be a tense conversation.

Nazli had won a prize in the iced fishing game that she had gotten roped into doing while she was walking by. Two free meals at the local food truck of the day. Nazli didn't even know what truck it was but she was headed that direction to find out, even though she didn't currently have anyone to share it with. Worst case, she'd hand it off as a gift once she got there if there was a couple or a friend pairing in line. Nazli made her way to the food truck and went to stand at the back of the line. There were only a few people in front of her and none of them seemed to be with anyone else. She leaned forward, reaching out to tap the shoulder of the person in front of her, "Excuse me, are you eating alone?"

"Woo!" Abraham laughed as he came off the tube at the bottom of the hill. He nearly bounced up with the momentum, grabbing the round donut shaped tube and stepping off to the side. "Now that's what I'm talking about," he turned to Archie with a grin, "I'd like to know what kind of speed we are clocking down these hills," he joked with the other, "though as a kid that would have terrified the hell out of me."
