starter for anyone (capping at 3)
location: downtown kismet harbor
Liam had been back in town roughly a week but between starting two new jobs and unpacking into his new two bedroom apartment, his social interactions had been limited. However, it seemed that the Founder's Festival was the perfect opportunity to run into people, but he wasn't going to have any expectations on the manner. First things first, was getting a bite to eat. He had always loved food trucks and while he experienced plenty in his years in Arizona and North Carolina, something about the food trucks at Founder's Festival felt like home to him. Liam walked through the crowd, wondering who he might run into.

"Yeah?" He raised his brows with a smile stretching against his lips, "I definitely could use another client," it was the bigger of his two incomes but if he couldn't get the build up of clients in Kismet Harbor like he had prior to moving home then he'd just work more at the brewery. "Feel free to stop on by and sign up, you can let the desk know you want me as a trainer," he told her, "they're pretty basic right now, depends what kind of trainer you're looking for, how often you want to me," he told her, "I'm willing to work with people to find what works for us both." @blairehamilton
" oh shit, really ? that's cool ! you know, i've been looking for a personal trainer actually, if you need another client. i've been looking into getting back to the gym instead of sitting around. " blaire chuckled as she looked at him. she had been thinking about it, and maybe this was a sign that she should get back to it. the blonde needed to get out more in ways that weren't just work and clubbing. she'd been trying to do more in town, but often found herself lacking motivation. " what are your prices ? "

starter for @marleyxmadden
location: downtown kismet harbor
When Liam was told that he was signing his lease the weekend before Founder's Festival, he didn't think anything of it. It had been years since he had been in Kismet Harbor. Many years. Leaving right after high school graduation had not been a decision he thought he'd ever make but the heartbreak had been too much and he had not been back since. He really didn't think there was anything left for him in Kismet Harbor until he spent the last year trying to get over the last woman he was in love with. So far he was zero for two on getting over women that he was in love with. Luckily, with the number of years that had passed, Liam did not seem to gather much hatred from most people and found himself greeting another as he walked into the area where all the food trucks were. "Hell yeah, man," he grinned, giving him a hug, "I'm back for good."

starter for @maxdiaz
location: trivia night, cedar bar and grill
Since coming back to Kismet Harbor, Liam had been looking for ways to stay busy. Since running into Marley again right after he moved back, he had not been able to get her off his mind. So, he went and got a roommate. Started getting in touch with old friends and even leaving the apartment for trivia night. "Hey," Liam walked up to a table where someone had just sat down. "You have anyone on your team? Or need an extra person?"

When Marley questioned why, he felt like his shoes had become cemented to the ground and he couldn't move. He was frozen by the question and realistically, he knew that one day he would have to account for his actions. "I-" Liam paused a moment, reaching up to run a hand through his hair, "the heartache was too much, we couldn't even see each other Marley," he began to explain, the words taking him back eighteen years right then and there, "neither of us was going to come back from that if we had to see each other every day." He shook his head, "I should have done it differently but I was afraid if I talked to you about it, I'd never leave." @marleyxmadden
She let out a sigh and fought the emotions that were trying to come up. Liam was right: she didn't have to apologize. There was just something about him that made her not want him upset with her for anything despite the fact she was upset. She was about to argue that he wasn't as bad as their parents, but then his apology knocked the wind out of her and the tears came rushing to her eyelids. All the questions she had for him over the last several years were now at the tip of her tongue, ready to come out. "W-Why did you?" She asked and a tear ran down her cheek. This was the last place she wanted to do this, but she couldn't stop any of it. @liamxadair

starter for @veritywagner
location: rustica steakhouse
Going out on a date was not something he really wanted to do, but ultimately he knew that his run ins with Marley had stirred up some old feelings and he wasn't sure that he wanted to go down that path. Not because he didn't want but because he knew that she wouldn't want to do this again with him. So, dating apps it was. Liam opted to take the blonde he matched with to the local steakhouse. He was waiting outside, arms loosely crossed over his chest until he spotted her. "Verity, right?"

closed starter for @liamxadair at the founders festival
While running was probably Aliye's least favorite form of physical activity, she was always going to be the first to jump in and say yes when it came to a run for charity. Of course, there was no person she would rather have run twenty miles with than Liam, and she was beyond grateful for the fact that he was right at her side suffering still at mile fifteen. "I think there's like actually something wrong with people that do this on a regular basis," she huffed out, ready for the distraction of a conversation. She'd done hard, long runs like this before, it being a staple she had to train for when on The Challenge, but nothing about it ever got easier. "Twenty miles is insane. We're actually insane for doing this today."

closed starter for @liamxadair location: her place
Bridget couldn't believe she agreed to this. She was leaving for France in just a few days and should've maybe put this off for after she got back, but maybe it was best she went on this date beforehand. A friend had set her up with Liam Adair, which she knew from high school, and she figured why not go? What was the harm? Sure she didn't feel like herself right now since the breakup, but that didn't mean anything, right? He was supposed to be picking her up so she was finishing up her hair after doing her makeup and she heard the buzzer for her apartment go off. After rushing out, Bridget told him she'd be right down and left; meeting him outside. "Liam, hi. Long time, no see. I didn't realize you moved back."

"Ah, lucky you're not actually a shitty friend or else I don't think we would be friends," he continued to grin at Aliye. She was someone that he had considered to be one of his closest friends for most of his life and even carried that friendship outside of Kismet Harbor. It had been one of the few. As she caught back up with him in their run, he found himself laughing again, "no kidding, they'd be pissed," Liam told her, though they both knew that. "They don't take practical jokes lightly." They had rarely been the joking type. "A party on your boat? Hell yeah," he was pumped about the idea, "let's get that on the books soon." @aliyebalik
"It's me, the shitty friend. And still you love me," she grinned, striking a pose as best as she could without completely falling behind in their run. Hustling a bit to catch back up and fall into pace with Liam, she looked over again, nodding her head a bit. Egging their house sounded like an absolutely perfect idea if you asked her. Childish, yes, but exactly the level of dumb payback that felt appropriate. "That's the spirit, yes dude. I'll buy us some really solid eggs, we can go pelt it at their house, show them what's up." Even if it didn't change things, she hoped that at the very least the small little instance of rebellion might make him feel better about a shitty situation. "Dude, I've missed you so fucking much. I'm glad you're here now and I don't have to chase you down in other cities. Real, though, we can throw the party on my boat. It'll be badass."

Liam was glad that she thought it looked great. It wasn't anything special, considering he just moved back a few weeks ago at this point. He had done his share of unpacking but there were not many touches of home, "Honestly, this is probably bad to say," he laughed at himself, mostly, "but I'm flexible to price. That's not why I reached out for a roommate," he told the other, "more or less that passive company now and then, "so whatever you can afford," money hadn't been an issue for Liam. @phoebecarver
Walking inside, she started looking around and nodded as he talked. It was something she knew from the ad, of course, but she didn't mind sharing a bathroom with a guy or even living with one. She knew how to protect herself. "Sounds good." She said before following him over to where her bedroom would be which was through the hallway and she glanced at the kitchen and living room. Then they were at the bedroom that would be hers if she happened to live there and she looked it over. It was bigger than what she was used to just for herself; either having to share or getting a smaller room growing up. It was crazy how living outside of New York could get you a better place. "It looks great." She said before looking back at him. "So, how much are you paying in rent?" @liamxadair

"Yeah, something like that," he gave her another smile. Clearly the two of them weren't looking for anything serious and honestly, Liam liked social interaction and if it didn't work out past their date, he likely would end up with a friend. "Yeah, me too," he laughed softly as he got into his car, starting up the engine to head to the grill and lounge that wasn't all that far from his place. "So," he started as he drove, "low key is what we both need," he told her, "so let's keep serious topics off the table and ask each other some stupid shit, sound like a deal?" @bridgetxjames
She nodded at him. "Oh, yeah. We're both ready to go on dates." She said with a smile; glad that the man understood things and felt the same. It made her feel that even if this didn't go anywhere, the other understood why. "That's perfect." It was familiar and she always loved her cousin's place. She felt comfortable there so it should help with the nerves she was feeling. "Low key is exactly what I need right now." She agreed and got into the car so they could go. @liamxadair

"Some guys are just creeps," he hated to even admit it and agree with her on the statement, but it was true. Liam tried to be someone that looked out for others and in this case, it seemed to have been the right move. "Thank you," he smiled at her as she said that she would put it on her tab. Liam would have argued that it wasn't necessary, because it wasn't. However, he didn't because he had a feeling she wouldn't allow him to pay regardless of what he said. "Well," he chuckled, "I just moved back to town," he grinned at her, "am a personal trainer and a bartender." @blairehamilton
" a whiskey and coke it is, " blaire grinned, nodding before listening to his question. " yeah, i'm good now thanks to you. don't have to apologize, some guys are just creeps. " she was used to it, truly. which was a sad thought. when they got to the bar, the blonde caught the attention of the bartender and ordered his drink along with a vodka sour for herself. " on my tab, " she'd added before turning back to liam. " so, i'd love to get to know the person that rescued me, " a small laugh escaped at her own choice of words.

"Oh, wow, that's really cool," he couldn't say he had ever lived in the capital of a state before. Kismet Harbor was certainly not Oregon's capital. "Understandable, it's good to love your job. I can say the same about mine, both of them. I am a personal trainer and a bartender, both have their perks." And Liam's social personality thrived in both settings. "I wouldn't say lots of things, it's really not that big," he told her, "and it's been about eighteen years since I've been here, admittedly," he told the blonde, "but from what I remember we've got lots of good food around here, seems an axe throwing place opened up if you're into something like that." @briarrosedahl
Briar Rose was slightly amused on seeing Liam's reaction when she said where she came from. Her country does ring a funny name in English. ❛ Yes. Iceland, Reykjavik. My city is the capital. ❜ She added. ❛ I mean, from the place I was born, that's it. ❜ She explained in case it sounded confusing on how she expressed. ❛ No, I have my job which I love doing, so… My plan is to stay here temporarily. I am in need of a break from everything. ❜ Kismet seemed the right place for that. ❛ Yeah, you just described what I need, and I am lucky to find this place. ❜ The blonde flipped her hair with the back of her hand. ❛ What else is nice to do here in this city? ❜

"Thanks," Liam didn't need her to buy the drink but he understood why she was doing it. He would have done the same if the roles had been reversed in any way. "Whiskey and coke," he told the other, "a simple guy," he chuckled as he admitted it, staying close to her. He didn't want that other guy to get any ideas and try to get close to her again. "You doing okay, now?" He questioned as they got closer to the bar, "I'm sorry about that guy, really," not that Liam had any control over others but he hated that it gave guys a bad reputation overall. @blairehamilton
" great, well it's on me, " blaire grinned as she began to make her way over to the other end of the bar along with him, making sure to stay close. " what's your drink of choice, liam ? " she asked him, making sure to stick close so it actually looked believable. she hated the fact that she was having to go to measures like this, asking strangers if they could pretend to be with her. it was frustrating, but she was also thankful that this stranger was seemingly a good person. she could never be too sure though. she thought her father was a good person, but he'd cheated on her mother. it just showed blaire that even if you thought you knew a person, they had a way of surprising you. mostly in bad ways. she gazed back toward the other stranger momentarily, a silent prayer that he wasn't watching still.

Liam's brows raised at the name of where she was from. "Iceland, right?" His geography had been decent growing up and with more flights out to Iceland and promotional deals flooding his Facebook page had caused him to put two and two together. "ah, so don't plan on staying forever?" He questioned, but he smiled at her anyway. "Kismet is a good relaxation spot, a home away from home, if you ask me." Not that he had even been home in the last eighteen years. @briarrosedahl
❛ Originally, I am from Reykjavik. But in this state, I am sort of new. ❜ In general, a lot of people are surprised to know where she comes from, because she doesn't have an accent only 'British'. ❛ I came from L.A. I came here on September, 1st. I mean, we will stay here a bit longer, enjoying my maternity leave to also take a break from work.❜ As a workaholic, as she is, she needed to have a break. The 'we' in question she refers to herself, and her asleep son. // @liamxadair

Liam grabbed Archie's hand, leaning for the hug that followed before stepping back. "Honestly just getting my bearings after moving back home," he admitted to the other, "It's been a lot, unpacking and starting two new jobs," but he was adjusting and not to mention, he had already put an ad out for a roommate in his apartment. "I've been good, yeah," he nodded his head, "it's a bit surreal being back but you know, that's what happens when you leave for eighteen years." @archiemorgan
Archie knew Liam would have responded something snarky back had it been anyone else. Hence why Archie said exactly what he had said to him. He knew he was a dick, but with certain people, it was more an affection type of thing rather than a rude thing. "What's up dude," he asked as he gave him a sort of handshake-hug combination. "Not too much, how about you?" @liamxadair
