I’ll figure it out eventually.” “I’ll finish with the furnace.” “Captain. Even when he [Spock] doesn’t say it, he does.” this is such a normal conversation… no no it’s normal. I’m feeling quite normal right now. I don’t like her vibes though, they’re off
- “Social Worker Killed” Haha what.
- MCCOY IS IN THE HOUSE (wait note to self. McCoy: Party rockers in the house- Spock: Party rock is in the house. Kiss.)

- “MCCOY?? Leonard McCoy? SPOCK!” The panic from Kirk upon discovering McCoy is near
- THEIR HUG! OMG THEYRE SO HAPPY OH MY GOD
- Jim being the one to hold back McCoy :((( at least they get to hug again

“Roman, are you even listening to me?”
Roman blinks, emerging out of the colorful tapestry of his thoughts to find Logan staring at him from where he’s paused chopping vegetables for the dish he’s concocting for dinner, one eyebrow arched in a silent question.
“Sorry, my love,” he says sheepishly. “I just got caught up daydreaming.”
Logan sighs, shaking his head not unkindly as he returns to his cutting board, the slightest upturn of his lips betraying that he mustn’t be too put out by Roman’s lapse of focus. “I suppose it would be too much to ask for your ambitions of fame and grandeur to wait until I was done telling you about my day.”
“Oh, no, I wasn’t thinking about any of that.”
“Work, then?”
“No, not that either.”
“Then what on earth were you daydreaming about?”
“You.”
Logan casts him a sideways glance, clearly baffled, even as his knife doesn’t falter in its steady rhythm. “I’m right here.”
“I know,” Roman breathes, not even trying to keep the wonderment out of his voice at the truth of such a simple statement, still unable to quite believe that this was real, that Logan was here, was choosing him, was his. “But I look at you and I just can’t help but dream.”
But his words only cause the puzzlement furrowing Logan’s brow to deepen. “I don’t understand. What could you possibly be dreaming about?”
Roman laughs under his breath, answers dancing over one another in his mind like so many bits of dandelion fluff caught in a breeze, too many to ever count. Where to even begin?
“Everything.”
He shifts closer, gently finessing the knife from Logan’s grip and laying it on the counter before taking his lover’s hands in his own.
“I dream about waking up next to you every morning and watching the sunset next to you every night. I dream about seeing you land your dream job and finally being recognized for that endlessly brilliant mind of yours. I dream about buying a house together out in the country like you want and us making it our own. I dream about surprising you with homegrown roses on idyllic summer mornings and slow dancing in the dark with you on starlit winter nights. I dream about all the days I’ll come home to you and all the ways I’ll fall even deeper in love with you and all the countless quiet moments I’ll get to just be by your side as we grow old and gray.” He laces their fingers together, marveling inwardly at how readily Logan reciprocates the touch, palms warm and steady against his own. “I dream of us, of the life we’ll lead, of the future we have together.”
Logan only stares at him for a long moment, gaze searching his own as a hint of pink begins to tinge his cheeks, and Roman can’t help but smile softly at the sight, leaning in to press a chaste kiss to the bloom of color.
“You really think about all that?” Logan’s voice is slightly choked, words scarcely more than a whisper, and Roman draws back, a twinge of worry flickering to life in his stomach, but Logan’s grip tightens around his, keeping him from retreating.
“Of course I do. You’re it for me, Logan; why would I ever dream about anything else?”
Logan doesn’t even bother replying, simply tugs one hand free from Roman’s fingers, wraps it around the back of his neck, and pulls him into an ardent kiss.
Logan had never been as much of one for words as Roman was, had always tended to struggle a bit to vocalize his deepest feelings, but Roman doesn’t need a long-winded reply, not when the press of the other man’s body against his is all the answer he needs.
Logan, though, apparently isn’t content to let his reaction do all the talking for him.
“I know that not many people would call me a dreamer,” he says as he pulls back, gaze so open and vulnerable in the golden rays of the late afternoon light that Roman’s heart squeezes in his chest. “But I want that too. That future. The two of us. You.”
“It’s ours,” Roman vows. “And I’m yours.”
They meet in the middle this time, an intoxicating press of lips that tastes of hopes and dreams and happy endings, and oh nevermind all his indulgent imaginings about what might be, this is all Roman could ever want.
If this is his reward for daydreaming, he really needs to do it more often.
Entirely too soon Logan is drawing back again, rosiness now fully blossomed across his cheekbones.
“We don’t have to have a house in the country,” he says as if his brain has just caught up to Roman’s earlier words, the delay in processing entirely more endearing than it should be. “I know you like the city.”
Roman shrugs, sure the expression on his face can only be described as utterly besotted as his hands find a home in the familiar curve of Logan’s waist, pure affection melting through every inch of his body. “I can compromise as long as there’s no bears.”
Logan chuckles, low and bemused.
“No bears,” he promises, and with the way his eyes are sparkling with amusement, what else is Roman supposed to do but kiss him again?
“Love you,” Logan murmurs against his lips, the words still enough even after all this time to send butterflies dancing through Roman’s stomach like it’s the first he’s ever heard them. “I love you so much.”
“Love you too,” he whispers, and here, with Logan in his arms, present and future inseparable from each other for one breathlessly suspended moment, he can’t dream to ask for anything more.

Have You Ever Considered Killing Your Title?—Chapter 12.33
Masterpost
______
And then Remus’ brain had to kick into gear.
“Logan,” he groaned, balling his hands into fists and using them to press down on his eyes. “My brain is thinking again.”
He heard an answering hum. “We do hate when it does that.”
“When it does it like this, yeah!”
A small sigh. “Share the thought.”
Remus peeked out from behind his hands. “It’s repugnant.”
“And you will convince yourself I’ll hate you for even thinking it unless you let me prove otherwise. So, share it.”
Remus grumbled, taking a moment to bury his face again but knowing it would prove useless in the wake of his entirely too patient friend.
He mumbled a response.
“With enunciation, please”
“Ugh! We should try kissing! Neither of us know what it’s like, and I just wanna know what the big deal is. Plus we’re close right now and my mind likes to capitalize on whatever it can to make things unsettling.”
His eyes stayed pinched closed at the confession, still unused to this particular train of unusual thoughts. It was only around Logan or Janus he could let any of them out, yet alone these ones.
“That… might not be a terrible idea.”
Remus’ head shot up. Or sideways, he supposed, still laying on his side as he was. “What!?”
“It would alleviate some concern for you, I’m sure, as well as perhaps removing some of that perceived pressure around a first kiss. I personally wouldn’t mind, if only to get Janus to stop teasing me about having never done it. Plus, since we both know it doesn’t mean anything, we wouldn’t have to deal with all the icky, human emotion stuff that would typically surround it.”
Remus blinked twice, ensuring this was still his level-headed friend he was looking at. “And you don’t think having kissed will make things weird between us?”
“We’re both collected enough that I believe we wouldn’t let whatever outcome emerges damage our friendship.”
“Every now and then you speak and I’m reminded that I met you in the library.”
“The decision is ultimately yours,” Logan ignored him, answering only with an eye roll. “But the option is open if you’d like to take it.”
Remus paused, considering. Kissing your friend seemed like a weird thing to do. But, Logan didn’t think it was weird, and he definitely wouldn’t give him grief about it. Besides, when would something like this come up again? With one of the visiting nobles? That seemed infinitely worse.
“Just a quick kiss.”
“Of course, there’s no need for anything more.”
They took a second to adjust, both switching to sit upright so they wouldn’t be awkwardly smushed against the grass. Not that Remus felt much less awkward, but what could you do?
It was definitively quick—just the slightest brush of lips with eyes closed for barely a second before they were both pulling away, disgust on Remus’ face and distaste on Logan’s.
Remus was quick to allow space between them again, taking a moment to breathe and wiping his mouth, not entirely caring if it was perceived as rude.
“Yep, nope, definitely not. Janus is insane for wanting to do that all the time, what is wrong with that guy?”
Logan looked thoughtful, adjusting his spectacles where they had slightly skewed from the quick motions. “I might be able to see the appeal, just—please don’t feel offended by this—not with you.”
Remus gave a sarcastic chuckle. “That’s fine by me. I think I’d be happy just never doing that again. Like ever.”
“Perhaps it is an age thing?”
“I don’t think so,” Remus sighed. “Janus was starting this stuff when he was around my age, or at least showing interest. Honestly, I don’t think about kissing or anything like that unless someone else brings it up, really.
“I’m just not entirely sure I even want a relationship, you know what I mean? I’ve already got you and Janus, why would I need anyone else in my life?”
“That’s not an unfair point. It could be possible that you just don’t desire to have a romantic connection.”
“That’s possible?”
“I don’t see why it wouldn’t be.”
“Huh.” Remus had to admit, the idea sounded nice.
“I guess that leaves producing an heir to Prince Roman, then,” Logan joked, filling the air once again with a weight Remus had managed to forget about.
“Oh, shit.”
He was a prince. Possibly the crown prince. He was expected to marry to forge connections with other kingdoms, to strengthen bonds and all that. The whole reason this had come up in the first place was because his parents had begun insinuating he should start courtships. And, if he was next in line for the throne, he would be expected to produce an heir, someone to take over the throne after him.
How could he handle all that when he couldn’t even deal with a measly kiss?
“Remus. Remus!”
“Huh?”
There was an exhale from Logan, who looked two seconds away from grabbing and shaking him when he came back into the present. “You were starting to zone out in a way where you weren’t hearing me. I got concerned.”
Oh, Logan had been calling him? That was a little concerning.
“I’m fine, Logan. Just, realizing how shitty my approaching situation is looking. I mean, if I’m crown prince, I can’t just not produce an heir.”
“There’s probably some way—”
“At the very least they would require me to get married though, and I don’t wanna deal with that either. There’s no winning in this situation.”
It was quiet for a moment, Remus’ words sinking into the earth around them and burrowing down. And this had been such a nice spot.
“Remus, you seem to be forgetting a simple detail.”
“And what’s that, dork?”
There was a quick ‘don’t take out your anger on me’ look. “You are only fifteen. Your parents are not expecting you to get married or any of that anytime soon. Pressure even to find a partner probably won’t even start until your 20’s, and things might have changed since then. Also, worrying about the crown prince issue, when there is a 50% chance it won’t even apply, is pointless. Let yourself focus on now.
“Today, you found out something new about yourself. That’s a good thing. Let us just take it as that.”
Logan really was too good at calming people down. Perhaps it was 6 years of friendship, maybe it was just the way he was so logical about the situation, maybe it was just that Remus and him clicked in that way.
Either way, he was glad to have him as a friend.
“Thanks, Sir Logan.”
He was greeted to a nose wrinkle. “We just kissed, don’t get all formal on me.”
Remus’ laughter carried through the whole garden.

To Hold the Sea | Ch. 16

series masterpost | previous chapter | next chapter
synopsis: Decisions are difficult, and so is holding yourself together.
warnings: angst :(
Tumblr media
Waking up in the evening wrapped in Dazai’s arms as the TV plays gives you deja vu. You couldn’t count how many times you’d done this. You couldn’t always describe how it felt. Some days, in the now-distant past, it felt like being smothered by a ghost. It was effortless how lifeless he felt hovering over you, always giving that pale stare as if you were the empty one. Later, he warmed up, seeming to look through you with the intent to prove something; You’d never know what. But now, you don’t know how it feels; you don’t know what to think. It’s fine. It always has been. Even so, when something shifts, you’re prone to being cautious. You love Dazai. He’s always been important to you, but is it like that? You’re not sure. It makes you want to cry.
“Awake?” he asks quietly.
“Yeah…” your voice breaks a little as you say it.
“Everything okay?”
“No.” your voice breaks again, “I’m just… so confused.” he sits up and begins to rub up and down your arm soothingly.
“I have no idea what I’m doing,” you cry, “Ango… and you. And me! Us! All of us!” you drag your hands down your face with embarrassment, “I haven’t the words to describe how any of this feels; they all contradict themselves,” you begin to laugh, a little bit concerningly, “It's hilarious! It doesn’t matter what I choose I just have to change my life forever. I just have to make a decision that might ruin my fucking life!” Dazai looks down, trying to gather himself, but, when he looks at you, you find his intent stare again; it makes you want to scream, so you do a little bit,
“That- God- that face! What are you looking for? You look at me like you’re searching for something, what is it? What do you want from me?” You shake with your sobs, not wanting to stop, trying to let it all out. Dazai barely says a word for what feels like forever, simply keeping his position behind you, a hand on your arm.
“I hate this. I hate us,” you say, the words bitter on your tongue.
“You don’t mean that.”
“I don’t. I wish I could.” you whisper, “Things would’ve been so much easier that way.”
“Even so, you spent all that time living for my sake; living for someone who couldn’t find value in their own life. And you never called it a waste.”
“Because you’re not a waste,” you choke out.
He looks vulnerable. He looks different.
“I'm not. You taught me that.” he smiles. You cry even harder. When you look at him through teary eyes, you swear you catch a tear fall; just one. You try to gather your thoughts,
“I just wish- I can’t make a decision like this. I feel like I’m choosing to let go of so many things. I don’t hate change; I’m just not ready for this one.”
“Then take your time. No one’s forcing you to make decisions. I’ll be here when you need me, I’ll be here when you don’t.”
“It’s always easy to say that, though, isn’t it?” You laugh bitterly, “But you want a decision and you want it fast. And I don’t want to decide.”
“But you do, it’s just hard; that’s why I’m here now, that’s why Ango is back in your life. You want to narrow it down, find something one has that the other doesn’t, but we’re completely different. That's what makes it so difficult; we’ve barely a thing in common.”
You hate that he understands this all too well, that he’s probably thought about it a thousand times over, just like you, and no doubt Ango’s done the same.
“I love you. But… I don’t know if it’s like that; let alone if it’s right. For you or for me. You’ve always said things like that aren’t for you. How can I know if you’ve really changed your mind?”
“It’s up to you; you’d just have to trust me, and so would I.”
“I trust you, but I know you.” he looks dejectedly to the side,
“I know me too.” He looks disappointed.
“You promised me we’d stay together either way. I trust that; I trust you.” he smiles and leans his head into the crook of your neck, wrapping his arms around your waist,
“You’ll make your decision in due time, it’ll be what’s best.”
you look up to the ceiling, trying not to let gravity pull more tears down your cheeks. He holds you, his hands wrapped around your torso, his face in your chest. Your moments together are Renaissance paintings. Each as beautiful and devastating as the next. Each encompasses a different kind of love that makes the both of you think and then laugh, look at each other only to smile and look away. If God exists, it doesn’t love you.
When he goes home, leaving you with your thoughts, a certain clarity washes over you. Tomorrow is a new day. You have time to think.

So to Hell with Good Intentions Chapter 1
Masterpost
...2017 I’m sitting in my studio going over my friend’s concept art for her next photoshoot she’s wanting to do for her next project in art school. Excess by Tricky is playing in the background as I’m thinking of ways to bring these characters to life. “She could have picked any horror movie in the world but she had to pick fucking Leprechaun.” I mutter to myself as my studio mate, Rebecca, walks in. “Hey, your cousin Chris is outside with a very attractive friend.” She informs me. “Does Chris have anything in his hands?” I question her, looking up from the concept art. “Does it matter?” She questions, shooting me a look. “Aren’t you glad to see him?” “It depends on what he has in his hands.” I chuckle. “Because if it’s stargazer lilies, he’s here out of love. But if it’s Red Bull and Gummy Bears, he’s here to ask me a favor. So which is it? Flowers or my life’s fuel?” “I’ll send him back.” She ignores the question, smirking, before walking away to grab my cousin.
To the world my cousin is a big deal. Well maybe not the world but atleast the Metal community. To them he’s known as this bad ass motherfucker named Chris Motionless. To me? He’ll always be Chris Cerulli, my annoying but loveable cousin. He’s the one that believed in me when no one else did. And I honestly owe him my career and whatever fame that goes with it. “You’re a very distrusting person, you know this right?” Chris questions as he walks towards me. A smirk is dancing on his lips and his hands remain behind his back. I look past him and see a semi familiar face. Behind him stands Spencer Charnas, the lead singer of Ice Nine Kills; a band my ex boyfriend loved and I barely tolerated. “What’s behind your back, Chris?” I question him, leaning back on my desk chair. He rolls his eyes and places a tall boy of Red Bull and a giant ass bag of my favorite type of gummy bears. “What kind of favor do you need?” I chuckle before cracking open the can. “I don’t need the favor. “He starts, “This is Spencer Charnas, he's the lead singer of…” “Ice Nine Kills.” I interrupt him. “Trever, my ex, was obsessed.” “And you?” Spencer questions, smirking. “Not really my thing.” I shrug. “Too scene for my liking.” Spencer laughs as Chris continues, “They’re coming out with an album that’s inspired by horror movies and…” “And you need my special brand of talent, correct?” “Who wouldn’t want a special effects makeup artist that has worked on movies such as Saw: The Final Chapter and Jigsaw.” Spencer states, causing me to raise my eyebrow in question. “I’m sort of a fanboy of yours. It’s so hard to believe you worked on The Final Chapter at 18.” “Flattery will get you everywhere with me.” I laugh. “And I’m assuming Red Bull and gummy bears, too?” I smile. “Is the CD out yet? Or can you give me a copy. Along with the list of songs that you’re going to be making into videos? That way I can start thinking up ideas and start drawing concept art?” “Are you agreeing to this, even before finding out what we can pay you?” He questions. “Just like that?” “Don’t sound so shocked.” I laugh. “Just because I’ve done box office hits doesn’t mean I wouldn’t do this. Honestly I couldn’t care less about a paycheck. I do it for the art and the ability to beef up my portfolio. So whenever you guys are ready, we can make music video magic.” “Told you October would do it.” Chris says, proudly. But Spencer isn’t paying attention to his fellow lead singer. His eyes are glued to me. “Thank you, October.” Spencer says. “I have a feeling this is going to be the start of a beautiful friendship.” “I believe you’re onto something…”

TToFaË: Wandering and Woe (2)
<<< Previous Post | Masterpost | Next Post >>>
It was her. The swirls of gold and pink light in her eyes, the dawn-colored hair (now decorated with local flora), and the warm aura…all of it was the same. Fëor could hardly believe it. To think his search would be so short.
She returned his surprised expression with a soft, sorrowful look.
“I-I was looking for you,” he blurted, breaking the silence. “A lot has happened since you left and, uh, I was…I was kind of worried, actually. I d-don’t know why, but…it’s been bothering me. You running off, Valýría chasing after you…I thought you’d be slain. Everyone told me not to concern myself with you, but…I couldn’t help it. I really don’t know why. Is it really that strange? I mean…you’ve been so kind and…and you’ve been through so much…it just seems wrong. I tried to tell everyone, too…but they didn’t listen. They think you’re a spy or a fugitive…and maybe they’re right, but…I think they’re wrong. Their assumptions seem logical, I guess, but they just feel…wrong. I don’t know…I can’t explain it, but—”
“It’s okay, Fëor,” she interjected. “Thank you.”
“F-for what?”
“For defending me,” she explained. “At the assembly and from Valýría’s blade. So…thank you. If you hadn’t done that…I…I’m not sure what I would’ve done.”
“Oh, th-that’s right,” he stammered. “My hand moved without thinking. It was…the right thing to do.”
Ërna smiled, her sorrow more evident.
“Do you really mean that?” she pressed. “You don’t have doubts about helping a stranger from a foreign land instead of your own foster-sister?”
That caught Fëor off guard.
Her words broke through his (admittedly meager) defenses, piercing him right where he was already wounded. It was obvious from his blabbering speech just a moment ago that he had doubts. He knew he had them, too, but her words forced him to acknowledge them. Hearing her of all people question him for believing her…
“I just…find it hard to believe,” she continued. “I want to trust you. I really do. But…how can I?”
His throat dried up. How could he not consider her side of things? Here he was trying to help her, but…was that what she even wanted? He was just a stranger she happened to run into. What made him so special? Somewhere inside his timid shell was a seed of self-righteousness, an ego that convinced him he was necessary, that she needed him. The thought made him sick. He hated and distrusted that part of himself.
“It’s okay,” Ërna concluded, sensing his struggle. “I just wanted to thank you before it was too late. So…thank you. Your kindness meant a lot. I’ll never forget it.”
She turned to leave.
“O-of course I’ve had doubts,” Fëor muttered, fists clenched in frustration. “Of course I’ve doubted helping you and constantly worrying about you since we parted. I’ve felt foolish, frustrated, anxious…all while my friends and family scold me for being too sympathetic. I mean, how can I trust you? The whole world tells me to reject you, to avoid you at all costs, and yet…”
She stopped and turned, seeing streams running down his cheeks.
“Maybe…maybe I’ve just been indulging my ego this whole time, because I don’t understand why I’d want to help a stranger so much otherwise. It doesn’t make sense any other way, right? It really doesn’t. This agony I’ve been feeling…”
He held a hand to his chest and took a deep breath.
“I…want to help you. I don’t know why, and perhaps you don’t even want it…but ever since you came along my soul has been a storm. I’m afraid it’s just a self-serving part of myself seeking…something. But, at the same time…I hope it isn’t. I want to believe that I’m guided by something else, something genuine…something beyond myself.”
Fëor then looked straight into Ërna’s eyes—not just a glance, as he had done before, but a deep, meaningful look straight into her soul.
And that’s when he felt something was awry.
Her eyes were the right color, but…something was missing. The part of her that seemed strangely familiar to him, as if he’d known her longer than his lifetime…was gone.
“Y-you’re…you’re not…,” he struggled to speak, brows furrowed as he stepped back.
A grin distorted Ërna’s face, curling with glee before her entire form melted into the shadows.
“Interesting,” came a voice. “Veeery interesting.”
And then he was alone in the darkness once more.
Emotionally exhausted, Fëor collapsed, seeking refuge in the earth. Eventually, small fëol-colored beads seeped out of the soil to comfort him—ëolfëár swirling around him like rain that refuses to fall. He knew who was behind that illusion of Ërna, but that didn’t make it any easier to recover. He sat for a while, watching the land-spirits dance while he reflected on his words and feelings.
“I’m glad I didn’t actually say that stuff to her,” he chuckled. “She’d probably think I’m crazy, if not a creep.”
He looked up, through the gnarled roots and distant foliage. A few stars twinkled through the branches that swayed in the wind.
“I really don’t get it,” he wondered, “but I can’t help it. Even if she doesn’t need me…I have to go.”
It was then that an ethereal squirrel appeared, green of hue. Fëor had heard stories of such spirits before, but had never seen one himself. It was a gylfëa, a spirit said to weave the winds of fate for Gylthra. It hopped down the den-like path before stopping, as if waiting for him to follow.

After the meal, you’d had, along with your conversation with Yuuji you were pleased with the date the two of you had set up. You certainly never thought of ever being where you were but life was like that sometimes.
You’d made your way out of the dining room and began walking back to your temporary room, knowing that Sukuna would follow you just like a puppy would without you having to explicitly ask him. You could already sense the seething heat that radiated off his skin from holding in his little tantrum.
Pushing open the door that led to your temporary bedroom, you went towards the massive bed and flopped on top of it, laying flat on your back before stretching out your limbs and groaning when you stretched your limbs just right.
Aside from your groaning, a soft click of the door signaled that Sukuna had shut it after entering behind you but you paid him no mind, too focused on stretching out your body until you were satisfied.
While you were rolling around on the bed, Sukuna watched you with a twitching eye, still trying to grasp what was exactly going on in your head. When you had suddenly sat up to stare at him, he stared back at you and then slowly crossed his arms over his chest, awaiting whatever you wanted to say.
It was strange how patient he was, considering how much of a hothead he usually was, but for some reason, he was a bit lost for words when it came to you. How could you even manage to make the great Sukuna have a run for his money anyway? You were so unpredictable, he’d never met a human like you before.
“Let me borrow your phone,” was the first thing you had said, holding your hand out for him to place said device in your outstretched palm.
“Why?”
“Whaddaya think? I’ve been missing for days without so much as a call or a text to anyone. I’m sure my friends are worried, and I have to figure out what I missed in class,” you reasoned, rolling your wrist around to emphasize your point.
Rolling his eyes, he mimicked your hand movement before speaking up, “I’ll just brainwash them. Problem solved.”
“You can brainwash people?”
“There’s nothing I can’t do.”
“I bet you can’t beatbox.”
“What? Who in the fuck needs to know how to do such a lousy skill?”
You shrug and then get off of the bed to approach him, “Don’t know, guess it’s something you can’t do.”
Sukuna squinted at you, about to retaliate but then you decided to get a little up close and personal with him, throwing him for a loop.
Just as you had done to Yuuji a few days prior you koala’d yourself around the tall man and began to feel him up, much to his pleasure and to your dismay.
“Oh bunny, I never took you for the handsy type.~ I just might forgive you for the little stunt you pulled earlier if you keep this up,” he hummed, taking it upon himself to firmly grasp the fat of your ass, giving it a squeeze. You gasped at the sudden groping and punched him in the back before snatching his phone from his jacket pocket, “ASSHOLE, I WASN’T- y’know what? It doesn’t matter, I got what I needed.”
“Why should I tell you?”
“Why should I tell you?”
“Why should I tell you?”
“Tell me and I might not kick your ass.”
“Tch, as if you could. How about… a kiss?~”
Choking on your own spit, you became flustered, his words eating away at your resolve. Flashes of your kiss from before invaded your mind and you gripped his phone, embarrassment coursing through your veins. Why’d he have to bring that up?
“HA! Why should I kiss you?”
“You had no problem lip-locking with me the other day. What’s changed? Hm, should I seduce you?”
“I’d like to see you try, asshat,” you said rather calmly, turning to face him as you collected yourself, “Nevermind that. I’ll let you try and seduce me if you give me your code.”
Your used-to-be bully began to take a few steps closer to you, each footstep being excruciatingly more dramatic than the previous until he was nearly chest to chest with you.
“I don’t think you’re in the position to be negotiating, but, I’ll be nice because I think you’re cute,” he chided in a rather jerky way before snatching his phone from your hands. He then entered in his passcode, which was coincidentally the day you both had met but you didn’t know that and he wasn’t going to tell you. (Soft boi Sukuna would rather die)
After putting in the code he dropped the phone back into your hand and then moved to flop on top of your bed just as you had done a few minutes ago.
With his phone in your hand, you looked at the screen, only then realizing what day it was, “OH FUCK! Fuck fuck fuck fuck! I forgot that I was supposed to meet with her today! She’s gonna kill me!”
You began to frantically dial a number, making Sukuna sit up and watch you, wondering what had gotten you so freaked out, deciding to listen in on your conversation.
The phone rang for a few seconds before the person on the other line picked up, a feminine voice answering.
“Maki! I’m sorry, I forgot about our lunch date! I’ll make it up to you with your favorite food,” you cooed into the phone, sounding surprisingly sweet as you spoke to the one referred to as “Maki.”
Maki? Who the hell was that and why were you talking to her like that? This caused him to sit up and lean in, listening closely to your conversation without regard to your privacy.
“Did you get a new phone or something? I don’t recognize this number,” Maki replied, causing you to remember where you were exactly.
Quick! Think of an excuse!
“Oh! Uh, I forgot my phone at home and some old bum let me borrow his phone!”
Wow, rude.
“Oh yeah? Well… okay, but I’m coming over later to your place so you can keep your promise. Be there or be square.”
“Hah, what??? Why wouldn’t I be at my own place? It’s not like I’m in Hell or something, haha. No way. Of course, you can order whatever you want or I’ll even cook something for you.”
“... Sure, whatever floats your boat, Y/N. See you later?”
“See you! Love you!”
“Love you too.”
By the time you had hung up the phone, Sukuna was breathing down your neck, glaring at his phone like it was a threat, “Who the hell’s Maki? Never heard of her before. You cheating on me?”
“Dude, what? She’s my best friend. And I can’t cheat on you because you and I-,” you point at yourself and then him, “- aren’t dating.”
He grabbed your wrist and then pulled you to him, fiercely staring into your eyes and right into your soul, “Shouldn’t we change that?”
You ended up sputtering a response, not believing your ears as well as trying to put distance between yourself and him but he wasn’t letting up, pressing even closer to you until you found yourself pressed onto the back of the bed, phone tossed aside and forgotten.
Your eyes had widened when you’d found yourself pinned down to the bed with Sukuna looming over you, watching your every move, peering down at you through his dark lashes.
“What? Cat got your tongue? Date me.”
You wiggled around underneath him, attempting to get out of his grasp. Usually, you were able to get out of his hold rather easily but today you were having no such luck. Was he really this strong and where all those times he’d let you go all been for naught?
Remaining quiet, you eventually stopped moving around so that you didn’t tire yourself out and stared up at him, eyes twitching in irritation. What were you supposed to say in this situation? You couldn’t even knee him in the dick because of how he was holding you down. You were utterly trapped under his hold as well as his gaze which made you suddenly feel subconscious about your appearance.
What if he stared at you too long and began to realize that you weren’t the beautiful fantasy he had etched into his mind. You had never considered the thought until now with him staring at you so intensely.
Little did you know, this was not the first time he’d stared at you so closely, this was, however, the first time he’s been able to do this while you were awake.
Eventually, the usually fearsome and headstrong flower known as Y/N finally spoke in a rather meek way, which was out of character for them, “Why do you even want to date me? You’re more than capable of dating someone…  better.”
“Better? Who’s better than you? I’m pursuing you for a reason, stupid bunny,” he aggressively spat with a hint of venom on his tongue, easing up suddenly when he had sensed a change in your emotions and the atmosphere surrounding you, “I’m not interested in anyone else but you, so deal with it, you’re not getting rid of me.”
That answer may have pleased him but you weren’t willing to accept it so quickly. “I just don’t understand what you see in me. There are 7 billion other human beings out there and I’m sure there are some other mythical creatures that are even more amazing than me, so, why did you choose me? What’s so special about me?” Your tone of voice was starting to rub him the wrong way. Why did you sound so pathetic and weak? But then again, he had never witnessed any fear or worry from you before that wasn’t quickly overcome with stubbornness and a sense of fearlessness. This was new.
Sukuna was not the sentimental type. He was blunt, brash, and rude, Romance wasn’t something he was too well-versed in so he was a bit tongue-tied, trying to figure out what he wanted to say. There was one thing though- you were starting to piss him off with how you seemed to be belittling yourself in his presence.
“What’s wrong with you? Since when did you care about shit like that? Do you have a fever or something?”
You began to sink into your own thoughts and his words were helping you in the slightest. Instead of answering him with your usual quick wit you’d turned your head and stared elsewhere, slowly getting lost in your own thoughts.
Now he knew something was really wrong. He didn’t know how to handle this, he didn’t know what to say or do, and he wasn’t the comforting type. You weren’t aware of it but he was starting to panic now, not wanting you to feel whatever you were feeling right now anymore.
“Stop moping around, it doesn’t suit you,” he growled out, releasing you from his hold so he could stand up straight, still looking down at your expressionless face. Only then did he realize just how little he truly knew about you.
His mouth then ended up betraying him when he blurted out, “I like you because you’re you, okay? There’s no one else in the world that’s like you and I find myself cherishing your presence as well as anytime we spend together. Get out of your fucking head already. I bet you look ugly when you cry.”
Almost as he’d just muttered some magical words that broke you out of your spell, you slowly turned to look at his face and then sat up, lightly punching his arm in a joking manner, and chuckled, “Shut up. You wish you had the power to make me cry, jackass.”
Why had you begun to spiral? What made your mind swirl with doubt and fears about not being good enough for him? For anyone? What was this feeling that made you feel inadequate? You couldn’t help but unconsciously rub at your chest, attempting to soothe the dull ache that resided in your chest that you hadn’t noticed until now. Had your conversation with Sukuna brought up some memories that you had yet to acknowledge? It was so unfamiliar… yet familiar. Perhaps it was all a part of the burden of being human. Whatever it was, you didn’t like it, and what better way to deal with it than to shove it aside and distract yourself? This wasn’t healthy but what else could you do? You knew nothing else, masking the ache was your best bet. You just wanted to feel okay, you didn’t like this feeling anymore.
“Can you take me back to my place now? I’ve got to get ready to have Maki over, and if I don’t show up she’ll most certainly call my parents and I don’t want to deal with that,” you muttered, moving your hand from your chest before standing onto your feet.
While you had been deeply lost in your own thoughts you failed to notice the way he had been watching you as well as the stray tear that had made its way past your waterline.
You were caught off-guard when Sukuna had suddenly reached up and swiped away the tear with his hand, without so much as a word. He then pretended he saw nothing, opting for answering you instead, “Yeah, whatever. I’m staying the night with you though.” You muttered a thank you and blinked back any other tears that had threatened to spill.
Y/N was about to open their mouth and retort against his demand but then a realization suddenly came over them, all the pieces of an unknown puzzle they had stored in the back of the head piecing themselves together finally.
“Wait a damn minute- Sukuna, I swear to the heavens,” you began, rubbing at your temples as you recollected the past few days before finally saying, “... you were the fucker who bit me in my sleep? Weren’t you?”
“Took you long enough, idiot.”
And with that, you’d completely forgotten your sadness from before and those emotions were quickly replaced with fury.
“Demon or not, count your fucking days, Sukuna Ryomen,” you suddenly spat and then lurched forward unexpectedly, wrapping your hands around his throat to start choking him. (imagine the meme where Homer from the Simpsons is choking Bart, this is that scene)
You began choking the demon man who was shocked by the sudden development, shaking him back and forth while yelling profanities at him. He had grabbed at your wrists to peel your hands away but was surprised by your sudden strength. Wow, was this the power of human determination? Kinda hot.
Right when he had managed to peel your hands from his throat, leaving handprints on his tattooed neck, the door had swung open to reveal an exasperated individual other known as Yuuji.
“ARE YOU GUYS ALRIGHT??? WHAT’S WRONG???”
Both you and Sukuna had frozen, your face still held a look of fury as Sukuna held you firmly, your wrists in his hand. When you realized that the person was only Yuuji you took the opportunity to pull Sukuna down and kneed him in his stomach. You could have aimed for his dick but you decided to be ever-so-merciless at the end.
He’d grunted and doubled over more so in shock than in pain, releasing your wrists as a consequence.
You signed afterward and then rolled your wrists around, attempting to relax your anger. Your anger seemed to subside upon looking at Yuuji’s adorable face so you straightened yourself up and adjusted your clothes, brushing yourself off before calmly replying, “I’m fine. Him, on the other hand, he can eat shit for all I care.”
The squishy demon gasped in the most dramatic way he could muster before looking at his brother who had stood back up straight, rubbing his stomach where you had punched, “Damn, bro. Whaddya do this time? You guys are already acting like an old married couple.”
“As if. Yuuji, have you ever been to the human world before?”
Surprised by the question, he shook his head, “No, why?”
You hummed and then motioned to Sukuna, “Dipshit is gonna take me back home. Wanna come?”
“BOY, WOULD I?!” He childishly remarked, bursting into flames due to sheer excitement.
You immediately took a step back when the air around him heated up, not wanting to be collateral.
“BRAT! Control yourself, “ Sukuna growled before slapping the top of Yuuji’s head like a light switch, Yuuji’s flames immediately disappearing back into his body. Yuuji quickly realized his mistake and his face began to burn before he bashfully rubbed at the back of his neck, “S-sorry, Y/N.”
“Do you always burst into flames when you get emotional?”
“O-only sometimes! Not all the time, I can usually control myself but I just haven’t been this excited in quite some time.”
You chuckled at the thought, still thinking of him as an adorable little puppy, “How cute. Well, guess we better get going then. I don’t know exactly how I got here but I don’t want to take any chances.” You then paused, silently contemplating something before speaking again, “And to answer your question from earlier, Sukuna… My answer is fine, but if you fuck this up I’m going to do much worse than choke you out.”
Eyes nearly boggling out of his head at your acceptance of him he was beyond shocked but, of course, him being him he played it cool and responded in a way that suited him.
“Tch, you should be elated that I even asked a lowly human like you out in the first place. Do you know how many human men and women I’ve rejected just because I only have eyes for you? You should be grateful that you managed to catch the eye of the great, Sukuna Ryomen,” he replied, puffing up his chest in pride. His words soon sparked another childish fight between the two of you, bickering and light hits being exchanged.
Yuuji watched with his usual smile on his face, the smile stretched across his entire face but never met his eyes. He looked at the two of you with a hidden feeling of jealousy. To be completely honest, he’d been eavesdropping the entire time the two of you had been conversing. He heard everything the two of you had said and began to formulate his own plan, happily using his idiot cutie persona to the best of his advantage. But the question was, who exactly was he jealous of in this situation? Perhaps it was the closeness between the two of you that had made him crave something deeper in his own lacking relationships. Did he envy your closeness to his brother, wishing he had a similar feeling of comfort with the older demon, or did he envy Sukuna for finding you first? He truly didn’t know but what better way to find out than to spend more time with the two of you and sort out his own feelings. He wasn’t as smart as his father or Sukuna but he didn't need smarts when he had his surefire instincts.

Is Yuuji a new yandere to worry about? :v The world may never know, tune in next week on Dragon Ball Z. Just kidding, hehe. Sorry for the late chapter, I was struggling with what I wanted to write next and had started aimlessly typing with no real plan. At first, I didn’t like where this was going but then the more I started writing the more ideas came to mind! So shout out to my brain for being the real MVP! See ya later! And don’t forget that the taglist for this series is still open!

Hello!! Just a few days ago I stumble upon your blog and I'm wondering if you have some recommendations for Hybrid AUs, much appreciated if it is an OT7 and completed, but if so I will still be so thankful. (I just need some cure from the stress that modules brings) Thank You in Advance (◍•ᴗ•◍)❤
🌷 Hello! welcome to my mini fic-reading land. I’ve actually received asks for Hybrid AUs (I pinned the requests in the navi) but I just have a very messy draft.
But to help you with your stress, I think I can share a few of my ongoing reads (sorry they won’t be complete but they’re OT7). But, I added completed ones I could remember too (●'◡'●)
*note: will edit this later and organize this per member - maybe add other fics I’ll remember*

Except, instead, you let him escape, and everything turns out fine.
🌷ggukkienote: I am so hooked on this (because I am a sucker for Mafia AUs too). This is such a great story and the OC is really different from the usual OCs. Very interesting.

i don’t really think it’s fair to say or imply that Loki was Mobius’ slave, or even the TVA’s. Mobius is just doin his job for one. And for another, Loki is a criminal, even if he wasn’t in his right mind when he invaded earth, he still invaded it. he does still have to pay for that, and in that light, the TVA went easy on him. Maybe their relationship shouldn’t have been presented as quite so friendly, but I think they were friends by the end of the season and saying all this awful stuff about Mobius being Loki’s jailer captor enslaver torturer and whatever…it’s too far and there’s no real canon basis for it.
ah yes, of course, bad things are fine to do if someone has done bad things. because they deserve it. got it.
Listen. I'm not sure what canon you've been watching but forcing someone to work with you under threat of death is bad, lying to and blaming them for future events is bad, putting someone in intentional distress and knowing they will react bad to their mother's death and leaving the images up is bad, telling them that they were born to cause pain and suffering and death (especially when their father is Odin, their siblings are Hela and Thor) is bad, leaving someone getting beaten up and rubbing salt in their fears (even as part of 'breaking them') is bad, casually dehumanizing people (words like "pet" and "my/your Loki" and "the Variant") and pruning/resetting/killing people en masse or on an individual basis once they're of no use to you is bad, I'm not even going to continue this list because the TVA itself has such BAD vibes it's literally an authority that's enforcing it's own turn of events and calling it 'sacred' with people like Mobius/B-15/Renslayer pushing their agenda forward because they simply believe it's for the greater good while invalidating Loki's questions until the point where they personally find out they were also Variants (and still express no remorse/mention of any moral argument or lives taken, they just comment on how they could've been happy before).
Like, buddy, pal, I don't know how to tell you this but Mobius is very clearly psychologically torturing Loki in episode 1 in order to break him down and get him to join their side, I would even argue that he physically does so in exercising control of where Loki can move or how he reacts with the collar after riling him up. He does the same thing in episode 4 even more explicitly for everyone who missed it.
Arguing he advocates for or sees the best in Loki is something that doesn't have a canon basis. Every "that's not how I see it," "Is that possible? He can change?" "You could be whoever, whatever you wanna be, even someone good" is surrounded by interrogation tactics and "give my regards to Lady Sif" "What a incredible seismic narcissist" "He's softening in the Time Cell, but while he marinates..." "Just kind of an asshole and a bad friend. Yeah, chew on that for a little bit" "And, hey, if it doesn't work, I'll delete him myself."
There is explicit canon basis of these things, and whether you'd rather not acknowledge them is up to you, and I don't blame you for thinking otherwise since the narrative frames Mobius as some kind of moral pillar of righteous goodness (he ain't) and has he and Loki use the words "friends," but I want it on record I don't use words like slave or torturer or abuser lightly, and don't recall having used slaver/enslaver/captor/jailer for Mobius like you've implied either, though some of the words you've got listed would be accurate descriptions, I'd think, since Loki's only option was work for the TVA or die - until the end of Episode 3, after which he was accused of having 'betrayed' Mobius and been a 'bad friend'.
I'm not even going to address "i don’t really think it’s fair to say or imply that Loki was Mobius’ slave, or even the TVA’s [slave]" "mobius us just doin his job" "the TVA went easy on him" or "maybe their relationship shouldn’t have been presented as quite so friendly" because I don't think I'm capable of doing that without some strong language and a lot of caps lock and this post is already long enough I think.
I also want it noted that Loki's hardly done anything worse than the hero characters. Just because he's been framed as an antagonist doesn't make his own actions worse or theirs better, so do please feel free to apply the same logic you are on what Loki deserves on them too.
Here's relevant posts in the event you wish to read up: (on Mobius' inherent goodness and his job) (on Mobius' take on Frigga) (the holy grail of Loki (2021) meta masterposts) (on Loki supposedly learning to care in the show) (thor 1 loki doesn't deserve bad treatment)
#look#you're free to interpret things how you will#but there's no way episode 1 wasn't psychological torture and there's no way episode 4 wasn't at LEAST physical torture#just because it's presented as 'oh he deserves it tho bc he's a narcissist and he's in love and is a bad person owo'#doesn't mean im not going to refer to it that way#like how maybe someone interprets Frigga as a good caring motherly mother#that's well and good but i'm still going to call her a hypocrite who was gaslighting because that's literally what's happening#torturing someone makes them a torturer but even then I only use the words when specifically referring to a moment or in summary#and i'm counting the Sif thing as torture even if it's funny#even WITH the retconned backstory that's still torture#even if someone deserved it that's STILL torture#even if that's someone's job! that's! still! torture!#the act doesn't change because of context because someone is getting hurt#it's like saying ''well it's unfair to say loki attempted genocide because he was just doing what he'd been raised to do''#WHICH by the way has more supporting evidence for being morally okay to do within context than the TVA's killing#because at least Loki until the show wasn't denying any of the things he'd done or blaming others or being a hypocrite#while the TVA very much IS built on terrible concepts AND sees Loki's role as an evil scourge for not doing 0.001% of the stuff they do#AND PLEASE TAKE INTO ACCOUNT MOBIUS' TONE WHEN HE SAYS THINGS LIKE ''maybe loki can change? mix it up? is that possible?''#because not only is his voice loaded with doubt or 'eh he's useful so keep him' but he has Loki's whole life on file#he saw Loki do good before Thor 1 and in TDW and Ragnarok and Infinity War#so the entire thing just has me going AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA#YEAH loki ''betrays'' people and you LOOK AT THE LIST OF PEOPLE AND IT'S ALL VILLAINS (with the exception of Thor)#so AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA is apt methinks#the Loki show

“Oh, you’re so dead.”
Jeon Jungkook isn’t thaaaat buff, he's more of a skinny kind of muscular. You don’t understand the hype, why everyone croons over Jungkook’s strength and physique. However, how else could you explain Jungkook being able to climb the currently dilapidated fire escape to the top floor of the chapel. The ladder is rusted beyond repair and is definitely a fire hazard rather than a fire escape. Yet he barely breaks a sweat doing it, and he wipes the minor sheen off his brow with the back of his hand. There’s some soot and whatever nasty residue from the fire escape that gets on his face, a black streak marring his already annoying face. He’s currently wiggling his fingers in a sarcastic “hello.” It makes you sneer, your two consciousness (inappropriate and appropriate) warring against each other to determine whether you still find this man attractive or not.
Convincing yourself that Jungkook is ugly is the worst quick-fix idea you’ve ever had.
The words of your Aunties, the family friends in the church, echo in your ears. Jungkook’s bad. They’d say over and over. It would cause you to snort and giggle, unable to imagine what sort of things he’s done to warrant such a cliché label. Yet some of the girls your age, girls that have gone off to college agree with sultry looks and longing eyes that yes, Jungkook’s bad. So bad, it’s good.
You haven’t a clue what he’s actually done to earn such a hushed title, his parents are lip-tight about his doings, unless it’s his achievements in the architecture graduate program. You hear things, though. Things that make you shamefully green with envy, envious of sin.
As soon as he finds proper footing in the storage room, he goes to the closet, immediately finding his backup clothes. They’re plain white button-downs, awkward long shirts with no shape or definition to them. They belong to the church, and no one ever uses them because they’re stiff and itchy. Yet Jungkook wears them like it’s tailored, and you have to look away when he quickly knots the bottom half of the shirt, fashioning it into a tasteful double knot in order to cinch his lean waist.
“Pretty sure it was just you that saw me,” Jungkook says dismissively, “so it’s fine.”
This bristles you the wrong way, and you put down the catering covers you were supposed to return to the storage room. You smooth out your Sunday dress, this shade of Boring Beige looking particularly pale in the morning sun. “How do you know I won’t tell?” you turn your nose up.
“Because I know,” he doesn’t even look at you, focusing on rolling the sleeves of his shirt. You weaken when you see the black shadowing across his forearm. That’s new, then again you haven’t seen him since last Christmas.
“Know what?”
“That you have a crush on me,” Jungkook says into the air like it’s common knowledge, adjusting the leather jacket on top of his outfit so the white-startched collar pops on top, “I mean, it’s hard for anyone not to know. You’ve been into me since youth group, Bunny.”
You hold your breath, counting to ten as you close the door behind you. A vision of you playing “Duck Duck Goose” as a five year old plays in your head, where you’d pick a bushy, big-eyed Jeon Jungkook each time, hopping over to him to pat his fluffy head so he’d chase you around.
It’s old news, your puppy love for Jungkook. How could you not like him? He's clever and sweet with his mother and always told the best stories in youth group meetings.  Everyone thought your affections were so sweet, and while that attention weaned over time, your feelings have only increased the more self-aware you’ve become.
With a mind as open and honest is yours, it’s hard to ignore how well Jungkook has grown. What has also grown is your curiosities since the two of you have moved onto university. Jungkook goes to the university uptown, a far drive which only forces him attend masses during the holidays. You attended the local community college, wrapping up a bachelors in some vague major that you’re not attached to. You’re currently looking around for some graduate schools, but unfortunately you’ve been so wrapped up doing duties for Pastor Nina that you haven’t been able to look around properly.
Jungkook’s probably living a fun life, with the way he’s grown rough and loose, you resent him.
When you turn back around, Jungkook’s right in front of you, trapping you between his body and the door.
“Don’t be embarrassed, Bunny,” you furrow your brows, nearly growing cross-eyed when he leans in. “I think your crush is cute.”
You’re not sure what he thinks of you. Sure, he considered everyone a friend when you two were in youth group, but that was youth group. Premeditated, parents forcing other children to do the same things with each other for years upon years in the hope they’ll practice together forever and ever. Jungkook did not want that, evident from the way he dipped his duties as soon as he got into university.
You hate how easy he dips back into it though, calling you Bunny and making you feel like a little girl all over again. Bunny, because you’d hop around to him whenever he was in sight. Bunny, because Jungkook had been fondly compared to the wide-eyed, diamond-toothed creature. It was cute when you were five. Now, it’s just discomfiting.
“Don’t call me that,” you bite, “and I don’t like you anymore.”
“Sure you don’t,” he rolls his eyes, and you flinch when Jungkook’s hand rests on the curve of your waist, fingers slotting themselves between the pleats of your skirt. “That’s why you’re not moving away when I’m about to put my hand under your skirt. Because you don’t like me.”
You press yourself further into the door, your skin hot and vibrating. So warm, you feel like you could melt through the door and escape from Jungkook’s gaze. Sure, the young ladies in the congregation talk. Maybe you’ve heard a story or two about Jungkook being seedy, a result of being repressed after years and years of stiff routines and expectations thrust upon him. You could care less about Jungkook’s sexual appetite, until this appetite has reached you.
“Mm, you’re pretty,” Jungkook’s eyes roam your form, the daisy white blouse doing nothing to barricade Jungkook’s sudden interest in you, “you’ve never been touched like this, have you?”
“I’ve touched myself like this,” you hiss in defense, and it’s more out of anger than in pleasure. You don’t need a man to comfort you, but Jungkook’s eyes sparkle in mirth at the new information.
“That’s really sexy,” Jungkook slips down, roams his fingers down to your ankles and plays with the silver buckles of your Mary Janes. You shiver when his hands trail up up up to your knees, the swell of your thighs, and catch right under the elastic seam that holds your secrets together, “but I’ll have you know, it’s different when you have someone hold your pleasure in their hands.”
You’re in the storage room of your church, fifteen minutes before the Christmas mass, with Jeon Jungkook’s head between your legs. Your skirt is long, and Jungkook doesn’t bother to ride it up your waist.
It feels more forbidden that way, Jungkook hiding under the fabric of your skirt to get to your honeyed center, sneaking his way in with rough hands and soft touches.
“J-Jungkook,” you whimper, pressing your full spine against the wooden door, “we shouldn’t. N-not like this.”
What is wrong with you? Is it sheer curiosity? Do you just want to know what it finally, finally feels like? You should be pushing him away. There’s red lights flashing back and forth in your brain like sirens. Yet, do you really want to turn away the attention you’ve been aching for years?
You imagined your first time to be relatively special. The bare minimum, a bed, a talk, and a partner you’re mutually committed to. None of those things are met. Now you understand why all the young women in church whisper about sex like this. It’s a spur of the moment, it’s an unbridled pleasure you don’t want to stop, no matter how forbidden and sinful the act is.
“How else then?” you feel his deep voice straight through your panties, his lips whispering between the pink cotton like he’s sinking liquid heat into your skin. “I can’t sink my fingers into your sweet cunt during the candle lighting. Or when we open presents with the family after. That would be inappropriate.”
Your replies come out in breaths, puffs of air that conceal the moans you so badly want to let out as Jungkook pokes and rubs at you. He does nothing beyond the cotton fabric, only slides two fingers up and down your slit as he gathers the arousal between his digits.
“So wet already, that’s so sexy,” he’s kissing your core, and you sigh fretfully at the pleasure that feels so close yet so far away.
“P-please, Jungkook…”
“Please what?” Jungkook teases, fingers slipping back and forth between the elastic of your underwear, “please stop? Please touch me? Please fuck me?”
The church bell answers that, and Jungkook’s nose knocks right into your bud at the sudden intrusion. You yelp at the jarring stimulation, pulling him from under your skirts as the loud noise echoes in the room. Both of you wince at the pain, the moment interjected.
“You first,” Jungkook casually opens the door for you, as if he didn’t have you ten seconds away from begging him to make you come.
You don’t even look at him as you dash away, not bothering to take the elevator in favor of running off the heat. Two minutes before the procession. The church is packed to the brim, only the back seats left. Your family probably gave up on waiting for you up in the front. As you sit down in the corner, you’re momentarily distracted by the beauty of a decorated church on Christmas. Even though you’re part of the decorating committee and commanded most of the design, seeing the stained glass lit up with fairy lights and the poinsettia plants blooming burgundy on the altar, you’re impressed.
“There’s a draft here, you must be cold.” Jungkook talks to you so politely, a perfect picture of a gentleman as he drapes his leather jacket over your lap. He speaks as if it’s a pleasant surprise, a childhood friend he hasn’t seen in nearly a year.
You can’t tell him to move when people are watching and Jungkook is seconds from interrupting the procession, so you reluctantly scoot over so he can sit next to you. His scent overwhelms you even more now that you’ll have to sit next to him for a whole hour, lavender and vanilla overtaking your pew.
The jacket is heavy and heady on your lap, and you force yourself to stare straight ahead. Jungkook cannot weaken you like this, not anymore.
Thirty minutes later, his fingers are hovering at the start of the homily, caressing your thighs under the jacket with his big hands. A draft? Please. You clamp your thighs together, knocking your knees and hoping they’d lock together for the rest of the mass. Jungkook’s a master key, easily parting his way as if your muscles are pure jelly. You turn your head sharply, glaring at him with all the fire in the world.
“Careful,” Jungkook mouths, eyes flickering to the symbol atop the podium, “he’s watching.”
His fingers finally brush the damp blush cotton of your panties, and you shudder.

Linden & Colton - 21
(masterpost)
this was meant to be a single scene and spiralled into a whole chapter. meaning this is... the walk part 1.5? part 2 will be next lol
CW: dehumanisation, pet whump, brief vague past n0ncon reference
-
“Get in the shower, there’s a-“ Linden bit his tongue. There’s a good boy, he’d almost said. God, that came to him far too easily. He forced a smile as Col looked at him, confused. “There’s a good idea, isn’t it? You’re soaked to the bone.”
Col just nodded, his shoulders drawn up around his jaw. Linden brought him a fresh towel and set it down, then closed the bathroom door. He heard the shower turn on after a few seconds. Okay. Col would be fine, he was drenched and shivering so badly he couldn’t speak, but he would be fine. Linden made his way downstairs, wondering what he could make for dinner.
When Col returned, his hair was pushed back, dragged across his head and away from his face. Linden could see his hairline- he had a widow’s peak, and it suited him. The same could not be said for the rest of the hairstyle.
“That’s an… interesting look,” he said. Col’s face fell and he immediately reached up to fix it, but Linden stopped him. “No, no, don’t change it. It’s fine.”
“Is it, is it pleasing to you, Sir?”
Linden still winced when Col spoke like that. It was so unnatural, so clearly trained into him. He wondered how long it had taken, how painful it had been, to make Col speak like that without even batting an eyelid.
“Well, do you like it?”
“That doesn’t matter, Sir,” Col countered immediately, and Linden saw the way he stiffened.
“It’s okay, it’s not a test. I don’t… your hair doesn’t matter to me. You are allowed to have a choice in it.”
That sounded right, didn’t it? That sounded like something Col could understand? Linden couldn’t bring himself to go all the way, to say things like yes, it pleases me or I don’t care about my pet’s hair.
. . .
“A choice?”
For once, Col was completely taken by surprise. Rather than feeling uneasy, or scared, or helpless, this just surprised him. Master had said his hair didn’t matter. He wasn’t interested in grabbing it, then, or keeping it a certain length? He didn’t mind what it looked like?
“Well, yes. If your hair is too long or too short, you have- you have permission to make changes. It’s not of my concern.”
“Y-Yes, I see,” Col bowed his head. “Thank you for making it easy for your pet to understand.”
Master just hummed in return. Col decided to try. Being as graceful as he could, he lowered himself to his knees, calibrating every body part to fit the model of a begging pet. He clasped his hands and held them close to his face. “Then, uh, if you would permit me, Sir, please may you allow your pet to shorten his hair, just a little bit? I know I haven’t done anything to earn it, a-and I should be punished for begging, but your dog would be so grateful if you could grant him this kindness.”
“Yes, of course, but I’m not sending you to a groomer,” Master said, and Col tried not to show his disappointment. Ugly, stupid dogs didn’t get groomers. Ugly dogs didn’t get to choose how they looked. Col’s body didn’t belong to him, after all. “I’ll trim it myself.”
He looked up. “Y-You will, Sir? I know I don’t deserve it, it’s not m-my place to comment on how I look.”
“Of course it is. And I know you couldn’t hold the scissors well enough with your poor hands. Yeah, it won’t be very slick, mind, but at the end of it you’ll have shorter hair.”
Col pressed his head to the floor. “Thank you, Sir, thank you so much. Your pet is so grateful for this kindness. Thank you for allowing me this, even though I’m not worthy of it. Please, tell me how I can repay you.”
“I- yeah, sure. I’ll have a think, okay love?”
Master bent down and ruffled his shaggy hair, and Col warmed. This felt a little more right than usual. He’d get to repay Master, he’d get to be good. It would hurt, it would probably make him cry, but afterwards he’d know that he had pleased his owner.
Soon, Master had positioned him the way he wanted, on a chair in front of the long mirror in Master’s bedroom. He couldn’t help the way his skin prickled, being so close to Master’s bed. Bad thoughts went through his head- when it started, he’d dirty the bed, he was an animal, animals shouldn’t be on the furniture. He’d make it disgusting with his tears and sweat.
But in the present, Master was only focused on Col’s hair. Col had to hold onto the belief that Master was telling the truth, that he’d really never hurt him that way. His sanity depended on it.
He was in the present. His long hair caught in his eyelashes when he blinked.
Master draped a towel around his pet’s shoulders, and readied the scissors. Col flinched as he watched them draw closer in the mirror. He thought about how easy it would be for Master to slide the scissors over Col’s ear and laugh at his pleas for mercy.
“Just for your hair, I promise.”
Master’s slender fingers tugged through Col’s fringe, painlessly pulling the hair until it was all contained between his index and middle finger. He twisted them upwards until just a small tuft of hair protruded. Then, slowly, he started snipping.
He was being so methodical, thought Col. Truly wasting his precious time on his pet. Making him look how he had asked to look.
Just say it. It’s how you wanted to look. You wanted something. You wanted something and you’re a bad bad slave.
But Master obliged, Col fought back.
You don’t know how you’ll have to pay.
This much was true. Masters, humans, they always noticed a slip up. Pets were too clumsy and stupid to conceal them. And this one… Col hadn’t even tried to hide it. He’d practically gone up to Master and told him he wanted something. He had demanded control of his own body. It wouldn’t go unpunished.
“I used to beg- I used to always pester Vik to let me cut his hair. He never let me, so once I decided to cut my own.”
Master started laughing. It was light and airy, and it didn’t fill Col with dread like when his old master laughed. He wasn’t sure why Master was telling him this. His pet didn’t need to know it. But it felt like… like Master was just enjoying it. He was enjoying telling the story.
“I thought I’d trim my fringe, like I’m doing for you now. I was about nine or ten when this happened, mind. But oh my god, my fringe was like an inch long at the end of it. I looked hilarious. Vik still has the photo and he takes great joy in showing it to everyone. He’ll probably show you soon. But,” Master laughed again. “I promise I’ll do a better job on your hair. I’ve learnt from my mistakes.”
“Thank you, Sir,” Colton mumbled back, not sure how else to respond. Was that the point of the story? To make sure Col was grateful? On the surface, it just seemed like an amusing story. An anecdote- that was the word. For so long Col’s vocabulary had been confined to so little. Beg, stand up, kneel, strip, silence, now. Knife, whip, fire, hammer. Good. Bad. But somehow life with Master was starting to tug all these other words from the back of Col’s head.
Master was too focused to speak, after that. Col watched closely in the mirror. Once his fringe was shortened, Master moved to the back of his neck. This was even worse: Col couldn’t see the scissors, now. He couldn’t be sure where they’d land, when Master stabbed him.
“Hey,” coaxed Master, quietly, like he was trying not to startle his pet. “Remember to breathe, love.”
“I’m sorry, Sir. I will.”
That gave something for him to focus on. In, out, maintaining perfect intervals, keeping Master happy. By the time Master stepped away, Col felt almost calm.
“There we are. You don’t look too different, which I’ll take as a success. Means I haven’t done anything badly wrong. Is that short enough for you?”
Col looked at himself. His hair was still thick and familiar, and was now contained to the top of his head. His ears and eyebrows were exposed. It would be a lot harder to grab, and Col immediately felt so much better. His lip trembled, just a tiny bit as he nodded.
“Thank you, Sir, thank you. I’m so grateful. Thank you for cutting my hair. I’ll do anything to repay you.”
“You can get the hoover and clean up this hair, first. Then you’ll have to take a quick shower, to get the stray hairs off your shoulders and neck. Then… you can come and help me cook dinner. How about that?”
It was obscenely mild, almost insultingly so, and it took Col a few seconds to realise Master had finished speaking. He had been waiting quietly for the rest of the punishment to be explained.
“Y-Yes, of course, of course Sir. Thank you again.”

“Girl, even if you don’t win, you’ll surely take the title of the hottest woman on the red carpet tonight.”
Florence’s words make you chuckle, but you try not to move your lips too much as the makeup artist finishes up the last touches on them, using a nude shade.
“Stop, my head is big enough already,” you tell her, giving her a look through the mirror. She is standing a few feet behind you, already wearing her beautiful, golden Versace gown that hugs her perfectly. Her hair is up in a neat bun so her back can be on full display and the diamonds in her ears can also shine brightly. She looks amazing while she is the opposite of what you’ll look like tonight.
Rhonda, the makeup artist has an amazing notion about your look when you showed her the gown you’d be wearing tonight and since the dress is not the sparkly kind, like Florence’s, she went a little heavier with the glitter on your eyes, using mostly whitish-silver colors, creating rosy cheeks and topping it with nude, glossy lips. Your hair is in loose curls with a bunch of extension, creating the illusion that you might as well be Rapunzel herself tonight. But you are the most excited about the gown that’s already waiting for you to be finally put on.
“What time is it?” you ask Florence as you don’t have your phone on you, but she has hers in her hands already.
“We still have half an hour before we have to leave. Dude, I can’t believe you are an Oscar nominee and might turn into a winner tonight!” she sighs, eyes shining bright with excitement. She hasn’t come off of this high for days, so over the Moon that you get to walk the red carpet tonight as a nominee.
“Don’t jinx it, Flo,” you warn her.
There’s a knock on the door of the hotel suit you’ve occupied for the glamming and Florence is quick to rush to it answering, but you both know who it is. As she throws the door open Harry comes to your sight, looking  as handsome as ever, wearing his custom made Gucci suit with a pink dress shirt underneath that matches your gown perfectly.
“Florence, you look wonderful!” his british accent fills the room, making you smile. Rhonda sets your makeup with some spray and you’re finally done. Standing up you move your legs around a bit as they went a little numb from all the sitting.
“Thank you! Pink suits you well, Harry,” your friend compliments your man and you watch them smiling.
When Harry’s eyes set on you, the light up, his smile widening from ear to ear. He looks spotless, freshly shaved, his hair recently cut and combed into place for a change. Not that you don’t like it when it’s all tousled and messy, especially when it’s because of your fingers.
“Angel, wow!” he breathes out as he walks up to you, taking your hands in his. You know he wants to kiss you, but doesn’t want to risk messing your lips up, so he is left with admiring you with only his eyes.
“Just wait until you see her in the dress!” Florence chimes in making you chuckle. You kept your dress a secret, wanting to surprise him with the first look. You gave out only the most necessary details for Lambert so the two of you could match.
“You’d be great like this too,” he teases, taking a look at your fluffy robe.
“I’m not going to the Oscars in a robe,” you tell him with a narrow-eyed look.
“I know, I’m just saying that you’d still be stunning,” he mumbles with a boyish smirk.
“Y/N? Time to choose a necklace!” Your stylist, Rupert appears from the room where your gown is hanging. He has a few jewelry boxes in his hands and he sets them all to the coffee table, opening up you are met with four breathtakingly beautiful diamond necklaces, each of them different yet so magical looking, you can’t decide which one you like the most.
“Harry, which one do you like the most?” you ask, kneeling down next to the table, mesmerized by the jewelries in front of you. Harry leans down and inspects them one by one before poking on the last one in the row. It has three rows of diamonds, not too big, the stones in the last row are shaped like water droplets, it’s such an elegant looking piece, it surely caught your eyes as well and you think it would be perfect with the dress.

“This one,” he tells you and you nod, shutting the other boxes, satisfied with the choice.
“Alright, time to get you into the gown, girl,” Rupert winks, gesturing at you to follow him into the room.
“I’ll be right back,” you tell Harry, risking a quick peck on his lips before you disappear in your temporary dressing room.
You fell in love with the gown on the first fitting when Rupert pulled it out, still in the finishing phase. It still has pins in it, but it already took your breath away. It has a massive A-line skirt and a tight upper part that hugs your body perfectly, a row of buttons running down the middle of it. The sleeves are puffy, but then end in a tight run from a little above your wrists, the same set of buttons appearing like on your chest. It’s giving out some Victorian style vibes in a more sophisticated and simpler way, but it’s by far your favorite dress you’ve ever worn to any event.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
It surely needs the extra pair of hands from Rupert to put it on, but once you are secured in it, you feel like a princess straight out of a fairytale and surely, your prince is standing on the other side of the double doors.
“Alright! Everyone get ready for the big reveal!” Rupert announces, sneaking out the room so he can open the door for you. He waits a few moments as you hear everyone shuffle around outside, probably lining up to see you walk out in your finished state. “Okay, three! Two! One! Welcome our Oscar nominee!” he cheers, a round of applause is heard before you even appear, but it’s quickly replaced with gasps when Rupert pulls the doors open and they get the first glimpse of you in your gown.
“Holy fuck!” Florence gasps, mouth hanging open as she keeps raking your form up and down. Your eyes find Harry’s gaze and you see him in a state you haven’t often found him in the past almost two years you’ve been dating. He is completely speechless, eyes glued to you in awe as if he just saw an angel in real life.
“Y/N, I—wow,” he breathes out, still at a loss of words.
“You like it?” you ask with a shy smile.
“I fucking love it, baby. You look… You really are an angel,” he tells you, making you chuckle at his words.
“Would you please help me put on the necklace?” you ask him and he nods eagerly, carefully taking the jewelry out of its box and walking behind you, he brings it around your neck, his fingers delicately working on the clasp. Once it’s all set, you step to the floor to ceiling mirror, taking in the final look.
“There won’t be a straight woman left on Earth once you step on the red carpet,” Florence bluntly comments, making everyone in the room laugh.
“Let’s take some photos, I need to immortalize this masterpiece,” Rupert gestures around, already grabbing his camera.
The next ten minutes you take hundreds of photos, alone, with Florence and then with Harry. He still seems a little stunned by your look, feeling shy when he circles his arm around your waist, but it’s cute that you can still have such an effect on him after being together for almost two years.
Florence snaps some with your phone as well, your favorite is when he held your waist and leant you back, making you arch backwards as your noses touched since he couldn’t kiss you. You already know it’ll end up as your lockscreen, replacing the selfie the two of you took on your latest trip to Hawaii.
When it’s time to leave you grab your little purse with your phone and other necessities and the three of you pile up in a minivan, since your dress needs all the space so it doesn’t get wrinkled before you step out to the red carpet.
As you sit in the car and watch the buildings pass by, your nerves start to rise in you. When the nominations came out a month ago it seemed so far, you couldn’t imagine yourself actually attending the Academy Awards, but now here you are, on your way to find out if you’ve been good enough to be the best.
Your role in Sinful Heaven has brought a lot to your life aside from the nomination. The three months of filming was one of the hardest times in your life you’ve ever worked through and at some points, you didn’t even think you’d get through it. Working so closely with Levi took a toll on you while you were trying to prove in such a heavy and serious role. It was a mess especially at the beginning when you and Harry were still in this weird phase, but that eventually turned right when he literally punched Levi in the face and ten minutes later asked you to be his girlfriend. It’s a badass way to start a relationship and you wouldn’t trade it for anything, especially because it put Levi into place or at least scared him enough to get off your back for the rest of the filming.
When Harry left following that visit, you couldn’t see each other until filming wrapped and you flew straight to him and travelled with him for the next two weeks, hopping from one city to the other, watching him perform every other night and spending all your time with him.
When the movie premiered eight months later, you didn’t appear with Harry by your side, Maya was your date for the evening, but by that time everyone knew you and Harry are an official couple. Neither of you felt like hiding it or caring about what others would think and you were able to focus on each other and rely on the strong foundation you’ve built for your relationship.
He was there with you when the nominations came out and probably screamed louder when your name appeared in the list. With tearing eyes and choked out sobs you jumped into his arms as he mumbled into your ear.
“I’m so proud of you, Angel. So, so proud!”
And now you are on your way to the show, only hours away from finding out if your dreams will come true tonight. Harry squeezes your hand and you turn to face him, his soft eyes meeting yours.
“Nervous?” he asks with a small smile.
“Very,” you admit with an airy chuckle.
“Whatever happens tonight, I’m very proud of you. Don’t forget that.”
“Thank you,” you whisper, giving his hand a squeeze back.
Since it’s the first time you and Harry appear on the red carpet as a couple, once you set your feet out of the car, everyone goes nuts. He helps you out and even fixes your dress so it falls just perfectly around your frame before he offers his arm. You link your through it, taking a deep breath as the two of you start walking down the carpet, posing for the photographers.
You feel powerful and strong, like it’s the peak of your career, but you also feel that it wouldn’t be the same without Harry by your side even though he is making sure to let you shine tonight. At one point he even steps back for a moment so photographers can snap you alone and you think it’s such a caring move from him.
You feel a little dizzy from all the flashlights by the time you walk into the theater, Harry holding your hand tightly as he leads you to your seats.
You’ve been to plenty award shows and it’s not even your first Academy Awards appearance either, but for obvious reasons, it’s the most important. Sitting in your plush chair, you can barely stop yourself from continuously fidgeting as one category follows the other and it’s still not yours.
Then following a jaw-dropping performance from Dua Lipa, Chris Evans walks out with a golden statue and an envelope in his hands and your heart skips a beat, but not because of the man himself, but because you know he is the presenter of the Best Actress category.
Your hold on Harry’s hand on your lap tightens and you glue your eyes to the big screens behind Chris as he smiles around.
“Good evening. It’s a pleasure to be here and to present the award for Best Actress. The theater tonight is filled with exceptional talents, but let’s see the nominees,” he speaks into the microphone and then he starts listing the names.
Emma Stone, Anne Hathaway, Margot Robbie and Rooney Mara are called and a camera fixates on each of them when Chris says their names, all smiling brightly and waving around before your name is called at the end. Taking a deep breath you plaster your most wonderful smile across your face, waving around like the other nominees did before the big screen splits, showing the five of you simultaneously.
“We’ve seen some spectacular performances from these ladies and now let’s see who proved herself to be the best this year.”
Chris flips the envelope open and pulls the little paper out that has the winner’s name written on it and for a moment you’re convinced you’ll pass out. You’ve never felt this anxious before and you’re gripping Harry’s hand so tightly you’re surprised he hasn’t pulled it back, but he is patiently putting up with your nerves, his eyes glued to the man on the stage as well.
“And the Academy Award for Best Actress goes to…” Chris starts with a charming smile, holding a short pause before he finally says the name. “Y/N Y/L/N for her role as Marie Davidson in Sinful Heaven!”
Your mouth hangs open, ears ringing as you process that your name was called. Everyone around you jumps up, including Harry, who is screaming just like when the nominations came out, while you are completely blank. It takes you a couple of moments to realize that you in fact just won your first Oscar and everyone is waiting for you to go and get your little statue.
“Baby! Baby you won!” Harry cheers as he helps you up from your seat and you throw yourself into his arms as reality sets in. “I fucking love you, Angel. Go and get your Oscar!” he laughs, pride all over his face as he urges you to walk up to the stage.
“Walk me up, please!” you stammer, not trusting yourself with walking in this fragile state. He offers his hand without a second thought, walking you to the stage where Chris is politely waiting for you to help you up on the stairs.
“Thank you,” you breathe out once you’re finally up on the stage, every set of eyes on you as Chris hands you the little statue.
“Congratulations,” he smiles as the two of you exchange two kisses on the cheeks before he steps aside and lets you give a speech.
You thought about writing a few words beforehand, but you figured if you end up being the winner you’d forget the whole thing, so there would be no use and that’s the case. Your mind is still blank as you look down at the award in your hands, the crowd still cheering on you, giving you a few extra moments to figure out what to say.
“I uhh—I don’t even know what to say, this feels like a dream,” you admit talking into the microphone, the clapping dying down so that everyone can hear your words. “I want to thank to everyone who worked on Sinful Heaven, because I wouldn’t be here without them. To my wonderful director and amazing costars, it’s been such a wonderful journey with you all. Thank you to my friends and family who were there with me from the very start, believing in me when I was losing faith in myself, thank you for never giving up on me. To my parents who I assume are now crying in front of the TV,” you add chuckling softly, imagining your mom and dad in tears as they listen to your words. “This is a wonderful sign to me that I am where I need to be and that I’m on the right path, so thank you for giving me even more motivation to keep me going on my way.”
Your eyes roam around all the guests until they fall on one proud man staring at you in his Gucci suit and pink dress shirt, his green eyes looking glossy as he listens to your words.
“And last but not least, thank you to one special person, because I’m convinced I wouldn’t be here tonight without him. I have one thing to tell you.” Forgetting about everyone in the theater you hold up the Oscar in your hand as you finish your speech: “Never have I ever loved someone like I love you.”
The crowd starts cheering again as you step away from the microphone and Chris is quick to jog up to you and help you down the stairs, Harry rushing back to take your hand once Chris lets go of it.
You catch him wipe a tear off his cheek as the two of you walk back to your seats hand in hand. Once you are settled, you take a deep breath and turn to Harry who is already looking at you, the same proud smile you saw from the stage still on his handsome face.
“I have never,” he tells you as his answer to the last line of your speech and you chuckle as your free hand finds the back of his neck, pulling him close. The lipstick on your lips long forgotten as you finally kiss him for the first time tonight.
“I have never either,” you whisper against his lips before kissing him again and again.
***
Smiling around you wait for the audience to quiet down as you make yourself comfortable in the familiar armchair. It’s such a nostalgic feeling to sit here again.
“Y/N, it’s so nice to have you here again,” Ellen greets you once the clapping has stopped.
“Thank you for inviting me.”
“Of course. A lot has happened since the last time you were here, you won an Oscar just a few weeks ago, congratulations!”
The cheering starts again as a picture of you appears on the screen behind you, wearing your iconic pink gown, holding your Oscar in your hands.
“Thank you,” you shyly smile, still not entirely in peace with the fact that you are now an Oscar winning actress.
“Such a major thing, congrats.”
“Thank you, it is a huge thing, yes.”
“Do you already have a spot for the award? Does it have a designated place?”
“Well, for now it is in my study along with some more mementos, but I’m planning to have a little stand made in the living room,” you share your plans.
“Surely, I would want to show it off if I had an Oscar,” Ellen chuckles. “You have such a busy time behind you, have you been up to something new lately?”
“We finished filming the third season of The Umbrella Academy, so now I’m having a little break before I jump into anything new.”
“Sounds nice, you deserve all the relaxing. Anything planned while you’re on a break? A new book to read, or maybe a concert to go to?” she asks and you already know where this is heading.
“You know you can just ask if I’m planning to attend a Harry Styles concert,” you bluntly tell her, making the audience and Ellen laugh.
“Well, I was just asking around about your plans, but I’m happy you plan to visit Harry’s concert! It’s also good to know that the situation has changed since the last time you were here, you definitely have been to one of his concerts since then.”
“I have been, yes,” you admit smirking.
“And I assume the two of you are now very close, am I right?” she asks and suddenly a paparazzi photo of the two of you appears where you’re walking down the street hand in hand just a couple of weeks ago.
“You could say that,” you nod, biting into your bottom lip.
“Amazing, because he is going to join us now. Everyone, please welcome Harry Styles!” Ellen announces and turning around you spot Harry walking out from backstage, the audience screaming for him. He shyly waves around walking up to the center, greeting Ellen with a kiss on the cheek before he turns to you, pecking your lips shortly as he sits down next to you.
“Harry, so good to see you again,” Ellen smiles at him.
“Good t’ see you as well,” he nods.
“So, the last time you two were sitting here, you—it was the first time you ever met, right?”
“Right,” you nod with Harry.
“And now you are…” she gestures at the two of you, not finishing the sentence, but everyone knows what she meant by that.
“And now we are… not strangers anymore,” Harry says chuckling, making everyone in the studio laugh.
“Certainly,” Ellen nods. “Alright, I thought that we could play another game, just to bring back some nice memories,” she explains, reaching behind her armchair, grabbing the familiar board from her, flipping it in your hands with a nostalgic smile.
“Can we keep it PG rated though?” Harry asks, examining his board before looking up at Ellen.
“No,” she simply answers, reaching for her cards as the audience starts laughing. “Okay, you know how to play it, no need for explanation. Here is the first one: Never have I ever used my fame to get in somewhere.”
Ellen is quick to show the I HAVE side of her board and you slowly do the same while Harry thinks to himself.
“Oh come on, you surely have,” you elbow him playfully as he smirks in your way, holding up the same side as you and Ellen.
“We all have, it’s not a shame,” Ellen shrugs. “Next one. Never have I ever forgotten the name of someone right after they introduced themselves.”
Ellen holds up the I HAVE side and you do the same again while this time Harry flips it over to I HAVE NEVER confidently.
“Really?” Ellen asks him, surprised at his answer.
“I’m good with names,” he simply shrugs.
“That’s a good trait. Alright, let’s move on. Never have I ever punched someone in the face.”
It’s a sneaky and very shady statement. Just a few days after the incident with Levi, word got out that he was punched, a few blurry pictures floating around the internet of his bruise, then fans figured out it had to happen around the time Harry visited set and people were quick to put the picture together and assume that Harry was the one who hit Levi, but it was never confirmed.
Glancing at your boyfriend you are fighting your smile back, holding up the I HAVE NEVER side as he is looking back at you slyly, continuously flipping his board before it finally lands on I HAVE, the audience immediately rumbling at the partial confirmation and seemingly Ellen is also amazed by Harry’s honesty.
“Alright, interesting. Love that for you, Harry,” he comments making everyone laugh as you reach over and give Harry’s hand a squeeze. “Last one,” Ellen announces, reading the last statement from her cards. “Never have I ever fallen in love with someone I played never have I ever with.”
Ellen quickly shows her I HAVE NEVER side as you suck your lips into your mouth, glancing at Harry again. You share a look before you both slowly raise your boards, both reading the same sign on them: I HAVE.

Chapter Three
Maybe you hadn’t thought through about going to Hannibal’s dinner party. In the moment you had just missed the sound of his voice. His touch… Okay, you were motivated by other things than how much fun you would have at this little dinner party of his.
However you had to pull a lot of strings and work extra shifts, just so your bosses would even consider letting you off for a couple days. You were a valuable worker, one that would damage them to lose, but pettiness didn’t know any bounds. The stress was adding up. Still you trudged through it all. Not one to ever want to end up on Hannibal’s bad side.
You didn’t like making the perfect, polite ones angry. Loud anger you could handle. You were used to it. Quiet anger was just upsetting. He’d be upset you let him down, but he wouldn’t say it right. A soft sigh followed by a half meant it’s okay would probably be the most he’d give you. Disappointing him was a no go.
“I can’t wait for you to leave.”
“You’re so good at making me feel loved.”
“You know I do!” She laid back in your bed, arm’s comfortably behind her head, “But since you planned yourself a date. I did too.”
You grabbed clothes and threw them into a small duffel bag. “The chick from work?”
“God I wish. Can't work up the courage.”
“Don’t tell me you called up Reggie,” you laughed.
“Don’t tell me you got called up by Hannibal,” she mocked your voice. “Look! We’re a team! You can get dicked by someone that doesn’t deserve you. And I’ll romance a very pretty woman the entire weekend.”
“When is she getting here?”
“I’m shooting the text the second you’re out that door.”
You sighed, “You replace me so easily.”
“Oh baby,” she cooed, “Remember who’s leaving who.”
“A couple of days. You could be lonely for a few days.”
Alex walked you out. Stressing that you had to text her throughout your drive. It was only a three hour drive, but a lot could happen within that time.
All in all it wasn’t a bad trip. Monotonous without your usual partner in the passenger seat, but not bad. Your nerves bit at you. Hannibal’s social presence really was everything to him. Your head ran though countless ways you could mess up the night. Ultimately you wouldn’t, you knew that, but your brain sure did like to torture you with the idea.
“Everything will be fine,” you told yourself as you parked alongside the manor. Staying in the car for a moment you built yourself up. It was Hannibal. He knew about your home life. How you took your coffee. The things you’ve allowed him to do to you. Probably some understanding of things that he hadn’t done to you yet. A knock on your window pulled you out of your thoughts.
Opening the door you got out of the car.
“You weren’t thinking of running away, I hope,” Hannibal greeted.
“I wasn’t. Nerves,” you admitted. “It’s usually just the two of us, y’know…”
“Darling,” he scoffed, adjusting a piece of your hair, “I have no doubt in my mind that my companions wouldn’t adore you as much as I do.”
You moved to grab your bag, only for Hannibal to immediately take it from you. “You say that now, but that’s only because you’ve become accustomed to that certain charm I have at three in the morning after a night of studying. I’m not sure I can be as adorable to all of your friends.”
“Anyone that thinks otherwise has no place in my home.” Hannibal grabbed your hand in his own, leading you to the manor.
Once the front door closed, he wasted no time pulling you close. The kiss was long and rough. Both attempting to make up for lost time in the limited minutes you had. A soft moan from you made him press you against the door, the bag that had been in his hand long forgotten. His hand pressed lightly against your throat as he pushed a knee in between yours.
It was a long while before he pulled away. He rested his forehead against yours. “I’ve missed my favorite plaything,” He spoke into the shared air, “You’ve been away so long.”
“Your favorite?” You asked, looking at him dazed.
He smiled, mischief in his eyes. “I’d wager they couldn’t kiss you so well you’d look at them like they hung the stars after.”
“I do not!”
“Of course you don’t, darling.” He picked up your bag. “Come, we should start getting dressed.” You followed Hannibal up the stairs to his room. Apparently yours too, at least for the next couple of nights, since he emptied the contents of your bag into an empty dresser drawer. “You’re more than welcome to explore if you do get uncomfortable. I know meeting a sea of people can feel overwhelming.”
“I’m just afraid I’ll be out of place.”
“You’re exactly where I want you to be,” he disappeared into the walk-in closet, “The other’s are decent enough people. However, it makes sense that such divine beauty doesn’t fit in amongst commoners. I’d never dream of you finding yourself their equal.”
You walked over to examine the drawings he had hung on the wall next to his bed. “I’m not sure I’m worthy of such high thought.”
He came back, placing the suit and dress onto the bed. Standing behind you, he wrapped his arms around you, resting his head on your shoulder. “I really do mean it, beloved. You’re strong and intelligent. As much as I’d like to, you won’t allow me to pull strings and help you. That’s more than most of the crowd coming over tonight. They haven’t faced hardships like yourself and I. Don’t allow yourself to be treated less than and, please, tell me if anyone makes you feel that way.”
You turned your head, kissing his cheek. “I’m not sure I believe it, but I’m grateful for the thought.”
“I simply must make it my mission to prove it.” He inhaled deeply, “You’ve changed your perfume?”
“I liked the one you bought,” you said simply, getting out of his arms, you looked at the dress he had gotten you. The piece of fabric was easily the most expensive thing you owned now. It didn’t match his suit, but the two certainly complimented each other. “You really didn’t have to.”
“I want to,” he went to open another dresser drawer, pulling out a small box, “Consider it all a graduation present. You worked hard and deserve a reward for it. We didn’t get a chance to see one another before you left.”
“You’ve had these since then?” You asked.
“Of course. How could I resist an opportunity to find you a gift? And with Alex so graciously allowing me to buy you a dress, I figured tonight would be a wonderful time to give you your gift.” He opened the jewelry box.
“Hannibal,” you gasped quietly, the jewelry glimmered brightly, “It’s beautiful.” Usually you weren’t one for objects, but this was also the most thoughtful thing you’ve ever received. Hannibal had taken the small bits he knew of you and picked out the perfect pieces of jewelry for you. It was the feeling of being known so well that made it special.
“The second I saw this set I couldn’t help but think of my darling girl. Would you like me to put the necklace on you now?”
You quickly shook your head, “After I get dressed, please. I wouldn’t want to risk dirtying it while I’m getting ready.”
“In that case, I’ll show you where you can get ready.”
You grabbed the things you needed to make yourself look presentable and followed Hannibal to the bathroom. To your surprise he started to undress after he hung up his suit and your dress. You shrugged it off and set your stuff on the counter, you were more than comfortable with him and you and Alex had taken to doing similar in your cramped bathroom early mornings. The shower turned on while you took out your makeup. His humming filled the otherwise quiet room.
When you were pleased with how your makeup looked, you moved on to fussing with your hair. The shower shut off and your eyes wandered briefly in the mirror. You watched the show as he dried off his chest and followed the towel up as he dried his hair. He caught your eye, brow raised, you shrugged and sent a wink his way.
You got undressed, tossing your clothes in the hamper as you did. Walking over to the dress you felt the fabric between your fingers, studying the intricate pattern that was sown on to it.
“You don’t like it, darling?” Hannibal asked as he buttoned his shirt. “There’s another in the closet, but I was hopeful you’d like this one. You'd look stunning.”
“Admiring,” you stated simply, “Wait there’s another?”
“There’s a show, I’d like to see tomorrow. I figured it could be an outing for us.” He checked himself over before styling his hair. “This is ‘Making it worth my while’ as Alex said.”
“Han, you know better than to listen to Al.” You sighed, “I’m grateful, I honestly am. It’s just embarrassing. I really can’t give you anything in return.”
Hannibal came over to you, holding one of your hands in his. “They’re simple trinkets of my affection. In the end they all mean nothing. YN, you grace me with your presence and time, which is something that can never be repaid in form. I hold you dearly, your time is more than I deserve.”
You stood on the tips of your toes kissing him gently. There was all the time later for a rougher touch. Now you just wanted to feel him pressed close against yourself. A brief flick of thought asked if you really wanted this to just be a fleeting thing between friends. Pulling away, you gave him one final kiss to the side of his mouth.
“You’re allowed to give me one gift a month,” you teased, as you grabbed his tie and set to work on tying it for him. “You’re not my sugar daddy, as much as Alex wishes you were.”
“And you’re welcome to set as many rules as you’d like when it comes to this. However, what’s forcing me to follow them?” His hands grazed along your sides, “We both understand who makes the rules, don’t we little one?”
The part of you that had become accustomed to that particular tone, faltered slightly. “Hannibal, we’re not always in sessions,” you reminded him as you tightened the tie, “You can’t just have your way.”
“Why not?”
You shook your head, annoyed, “Or you can do what you’d like. It’s your wallet after all.”
“I’m sorry,” he apologized immediately, “I don’t want to offend you.”
You let it go, there was no use to fight over this. “It’s okay, you’re only teasing right?”
“May I please see you in the dress?” He asked, lightening the mood.
You turned, returning to the piece of elegant fabric. Carefully you pulled it on. He really was excellent when it came to fashion. The dress hugged the right places and accentuated everything wonderfully. Hannibal stepped behind you once again. Zipping the back for you, his fingers trailing up as he did. Carefully, he moved your hair to the side as he fixed the necklace in place. Dipping his head down, he kissed that spot on your neck he had quickly learned turned you to putty in his hands. You leaned against him, angling your neck to give him better access as a soft moan escaped. His teeth grazed gently against your neck, he seemed to toy with the idea of making a mark before backing away. As much as he’d enjoy to see it blossom, he knew you had many first impressions to make.
You whimpered at the loss of contact. Suddenly realizing just how much you had missed him.
“I know, little one,” he sighed, pressing a kiss on the side of your ear, “but we have a night to get through. After this, I belong to you. We will have all tomorrow for each other.”
“Promise?”
“Promise.”
-
The dinner party was beautifully done. Of course it was. Hannibal never spared any expense, let alone when he was trying to impress. He had introduced you to a couple people, they were nice enough, but you just couldn’t find a connection with them. You definitely steered clear of Bedelia. That woman was intimidating to a whole other degree. Definitely someone you could actually see Hannibal going after. You wondered why he didn’t.
An hour into the dinner party, you slipped away. He had said you could explore and honestly, without him you weren’t much for conversation. You had already gotten a snide look for saying you worked at a bar on nights, but they didn’t hold much interest for you either. All the conversations you had heard were meaningless droning. People constantly trying to one up another or bragging about something new they acquired or some business deal.
So it was safe to say no one noticed your absence. Well maybe one extremely observant man.
You found yourself in his library, taking residence in a nook next to a window. Hannibal’s sketch book in your lap as you looked over his drawings. Each drawing looked like he must have spent hours on it. You marveled at his talent, watching the range go from almost romantic to grouesome. Some things could be recognized as his take on art pieces, and landscapes, while others seemed to be originals. The originals were darker in nature, but you supposed it made sense. He saw death as something comforting and could be considered beautiful. Of course it would translate into his pieces.
The door opened, revealing the man that occupied your thoughts at the moment. “Is everything alright, darling? No one bothered you, I hope.”
You smiled up at him. “I’m fine. I just wanted a break, I’m getting a little bit of a headache.”
“Oh?” He touched your forehead with the back of his hand, “Are you feeling well?”
“I’ll go back in a moment,” you promised himas you brought his hand down to press a peck onto it, “Go enjoy your party.”
“They can keep themselves entertained for a while.”  He took a seat next to you, pulling you to rest against him. “I could use a moment too.”
You couldn’t stave off the smile that played on your lips to get to have him to yourself. He made you feel comfortable and honestly you were out of your element at this party. Hannibal rested his head against the wall. That left his neck vulnerable and you couldn’t resist placing a kiss on it.
“Why must you insist on acting up when we are alone, darling girl?” He hummed quietly, his hand entertained itself absentmindedly drawing things on your thigh.
“I missed you,” you insisted. “Not just like that. We used to spend a lot of time together.”
“It has been a long time. I’m sorry about that.”
“I had your number too. I’m not completely out of blame.”
“Well, you’ll find a way to make it up to me.” He tugged you closer, “You’re too far.”
You straddled one of his thighs, placing your hand on his shoulders. “I’m sure you have a couple ideas of how.”
“A couple.”
Leaning in you caught him in a kiss. His hand started to trail lower, you caught him by the wrist before he got to his destination, placing his hand back on your hip. With his original plan voided, he bounced his thigh against you, the hands on your hips helping you grind down. You couldn’t help the moan you let out. Letting him continue until you remembered the party happening not so far away.
“Hannibal,” you whined against his lips, “Not right now.”
“But you sound so sweet, darling, don’t mind them.” He continued his earlier assault on your neck, this time not thinking twice before sucking his mark onto it. “You look so beautiful tonight. I know you can give me one before we’re missed, you’re always so good for me. Don’t you want to be good?”
The growing lust clouded your judgement. Hannibal’s soft words and the gentle but perfect rhythm he was working on made it hard to find any reason to argue.
“Yes, daddy,” you sighed softly, “I want to be good for you.”
The door opened again, followed by a dramatic gasp, “Hannibal, having dessert before the rest of us?” The strange man eyed you, “Plan on sharing?”
Hannibal had been quick to tug down the dress that had rode up, keeping you safe from prying eyes. “Unfortunately, I’m not one for sharing. If you don’t mind waiting in the hall. I’ll meet with you in a second.”
“Oh, I’d much prefer to stay. Hello, what’s your name? Is Hannibal keeping you entertained?”
You hid your face against Hannibal’s shoulder, your face burning to the touch.
“Shy thing isn’t she, daddy?”
“I really must insist you leave now,” Hannibal said, the anger evident in his voice.
“Fine, killjoy.” You heard retreating steps and the door closed again.
“Of course out of everyone to find us it was the gossip,” he sighed to himself, dropping a kiss to the top of your head, “I’m sorry about that, love.”
“I told you not now,” you said, pulling away and going back to your seat beside him.
“I know. I’m sorry,” he kissed the back of your hand, “I thought we’d have a couple more minutes before someone looked for us, let alone find us. Let me handle this and then you’ll never see him again.”
You nodded. “Can I go to the room for the night? He made me feel… strange.”
“Darling,” he cupped your cheek, a sad look in his eyes, “this is your home more than anyone else out there. Don’t let him ruin the night for us. I’ll make sure he’s gone and stay by you the rest of the night. Does that sound okay?”
And true to his word he was, he had escorted the man out quickly once he found him. However the Gossip was apparently a fast worker, because a couple people did give you lingering looks. Though they were quick to save face if they so much as thought Hannibal noticed. Whatever they thought didn’t matter. You were two grown, consenting adults that enjoyed each other’s company, be damned what others thought. Throughout the night you kept telling yourself that, hoping to cut the embarrassment short. A couple times you caught yourself, thoughtlessly intertwining your fingers with Hannibal’s when you were less than sturdy. Each time he squeezed your fingers gently, quiet reassurance that he was there for you.
-
You woke up the following morning. Hannibal was still asleep beside you, it must have been early. He looked sweet in the mornings. Relaxed, not as stiff as he usually was, his hair sticking up in places he’d immediately flatten out once he woke as he greeted you with that deeper more accented voice that accompanied the mornings. You pressed a kiss to his chest, before carefully removing the arm that was sprawled across your stomach.
Looking at the clock, you considered the time. There was enough if you worked quickly. Standing up, you grabbed one of your shirts and shorts. After freshening up, you made your way down to the kitchen.
It was different. You hadn’t toured much of the home, let alone know where anything was, but you gathered your bearings fast enough. The things you needed had been placed somewhat similarly to his old home and you set everything onto the counter. Protein scramble, fruit, and pancakes seemed like a good option today. The pancakes, he had taught you to make when you asked where the box mix was and obviously he wouldn’t stand for you not knowing how to make something so simple from scratch.
Your phone played music as you set to work, washing the used dishes along the way so there wasn’t too much of a mess.
As you were plating the food, you heard Hannibal call out your name.
“Kitchen!” You called out.
He was quick to meet you, “Darling, I could have made you breakfast. You should have stayed in bed with me.”
“I couldn’t sleep any more and you looked too sweet to wake,” you poured two cups of coffee and prepared them to both of your liking, “Figured why not play domestic for a while.”
“How did you like it?” He asked, walking over to take the cup from you.
“Eh well you know, the domestic life,” you shrugged, feeding him a cut strawberry, “I like to let my partner sleep in on Saturday’s and make them comfort breakfasts. Sometimes they ruin breakfast in bed by coming down too early, but what can you do?”
He chuckled around the bite of strawberry, “I’m sorry, beloved. I’ll stay put next time.”
“Yes, you will.” You stood on the tips of your toes to press a chaste kiss to his lips. “But I’m not too angry at you. I enjoy your company.”
His fingers toyed with the hem of your shirt. “Aren’t you usually sporting my shirts on these mornings?”
“I didn’t want to ruin one of them.”
“You couldn’t ruin a thing if you tried. I’ve got more than enough for you to steal away when you go back home too.”
“I only took them, because someone made a habit of messing up my shirts.”
“And your reasoning for keeping them, little one?” He grabbed the plates, “Come along, the mornings have been wonderful recently.”
You grabbed the cups. “You should’ve come and picked them up the same way I had. It’s your own fault they aren’t back where they belong.”
The afternoon was spent in each other’s company. Hannibal had insisted he’d wash the remaining dishes and asked you to pick up his sketchbook and pencils from the library since you were going to find yourself something to read. You did as asked, before returning outside. Setting his things on the table, you went to go sit in a sunny spot of grass.
It wasn’t long until Hannibal rejoined you outside and took a seat.
You glanced up curiously after a while, he was sketching away.
“Anything I can do for you, beloved?” He asked, not looking up from his work.
“Just watching.”
He hummed in response.
Some unease settled in your stomach when you remembered why exactly you were over here. What was the harm in voicing it? “Hannibal?” You waited until he looked up at you, “You’re okay that we haven’t slept together yet? I mean… I know that’s why I am here.”
It was true, the lingering looks you had gotten at dinner, paired with the small embarrassment of realizing one of Hannibal’s love bites got to bloom in front of them all threw you off at night. You had tried to let yourself go, let him have control of you for a while, but you couldn’t go past taking off some clothes and letting your hands feel the other. He didn’t mind when you didn’t want to do more. Always the gentleman. Instead he settled you against his chest, an arm keeping you close, quiet conversation and long breathtaking kisses filled the night.
“I’m not one of those little boys you’ve found,” he stated, seeming to be mildly offended, “I enjoy our quiet moments just as much, if not more. Sex is something else we could do together, nothing more. It’s not everything, little one. You’re not here for that purpose. What I enjoy is your company and I’ll take it any way you give it.”
You tilted your head looking at him closely, he mimicked you, narrowing his eyes at you playfully. That made you laugh softly, you decided he was being honest and not covering up his disappointment with sweet words. Patting the grass next to you, “Sit with me.”
“YN…”
“Please?” You asked, sweetening the pot with a pout.
He shook his head but gathered his things, soon joining you. Resting your head on his shoulder you looked at what he was sketching. The scene was you at the present moment. Half faced toward him, book in hand, completely relaxed, and more perfect than you ever dreamed of being.
“That’s an exaggeration, I’m not that beautiful.”
“That’s where we must differ, my love,” he kissed your temple, “Try as I might I’ll never be able to draw you with the dignity you deserve. It’s a poor imitation of the way I perceive you.”
“You’re a ridiculous man,” you said fondly, “Though I suppose I’d like to keep you around a while longer.”
“Suppose” he scoffed, “ You’d be lost without me.”
You stuck your tongue out at him childishly and went back to your book.
-
“Darling, I do adore when you take care of yourself, but we’ll be late if you don’t hurry,” Hannibal said, leaning on the bathroom’s door frame already dressed for the outing.
“It’s not my fault you always manage to get the bath perfect,” you groaned, getting out of the bathtub.
Hannibal walked over, grabbing a towel on his way. “I’ll run you another later.”
You took the towel, drying yourself off. It was nice to see a rare impatient Hannibal. There was more to that calm and collected demeanor he usually had. “You’re cute when you’re excited about something. Where are we going?”
“I got us tickets to the opera.”
“Really!” You lit up at that. When he talked about the shows he had seen before, he’d get so much more animated. It would be nice to experience one with him. “Which one?”
“Die Entführung aus dem Serail,” he answered, taking you in with a smile, “but darling, your excitement may go to waste, I’m afraid.”
“I’ll be quick!”
With you keeping your promise and Hannibal’s quick driving, it didn’t take anytime to make it to the opera house. There was time to spare and Hannibal socialized a bit, introducing you to other regulars. You exchanged pleasantries and let Hannibal control the conversation as you looked around the place. Some people you recognized from last night. One person you saw nod towards you whispering something to his companion.
“I didn’t think he’d be one for cradle robbing,” you caught the man say, as he eyed you up, “Lucky man. Reckon I could steal that little piece away?”
You subtly moved closer to Hannibal, feeling the heat rise to your face.
Hannibal turned his attention to you when the others started talking amongst themselves. “Are you alright?” He asked quietly, tucking away a strand of your hair that fell out of place.
“Yeah. I’m great,” you lied, knowing he’d probably take offense to any minute comment made about whatever kind of relationship the two of you had.
“Are you certain?” The tone of voice saying he knew you were hiding something. He always seemed to read you so easily. In that he knew you’d continue to deny anything. “Would you like to go to our seats now? The show should start in a couple of minutes.”
“Yes, please.”
Hannibal grabbed your hand in his, leading you away from the crowd. To your surprise he took you to a private balcony above the rest of the audience seating. “Since, it’s your first time, I figured privacy would do us well. No distractions,” he paused for a moment, “No one to get into that pretty little head of yours.”
“I just don’t enjoy all the looks and comments,” you sighed, allowing him to pull you down onto the seat with him. “I love spending time with you. It’s just soured by people that don’t mind their own.”
“It’s not ideal, but we mustn’t let them ruin our nights. With this kind of community, people make assumptions and talk. Darling, I really do insist you tell me when someone makes you upset.”
“I know, I know. Guess I should have braced for it more. I’m just not used to these kinds of things. When we’re alone it’s easy to just exist together. Just us.”
“I understand completely. However, I do enjoy that we finally got to leave the house. You look absolutely breathtaking tonight.”
You smiled at that, “Well, you do seem to have an eye for what suits me.”
“That, I do.”
Leaning your head on his shoulder, you breathed the comforting scent of his cologne, “I’m sorry I let them get to me when we're supposed to be enjoying our time together. It’s not fair to you.”
“They get annoying,” he gave your thigh a gentle squeeze, “Of course you’d take offense for us. There isn’t much we can do besides understand that we’re here for the right reasons. Though, it does get under my skin to see you affected so under my care.”
Soon the crowd made their way to the seats and the lights dimmed to near black. When the music started Hannibal whispered translations into your ear. You got caught up in the story between watching the characters go through their woes and Hannibal’s gentle voice guiding you through every detail. It was easy to see what Hannibal saw at these events. They really were thrilling to watch. Still it wasn’t so much the show, but getting to know another side of the man in question.
You looked at the man beside you, a happy smile plastered on your face. “Thank you for bringing me, Hannibal.”
“Anything for you, my love.”
“Your love?” You challenged teasingly.
A couple times he had thrown around the pet name. You didn’t take it for much. He was a sweet, old fashioned man, you had decided to believe. A sweet nothing that neither of you minded. Still you couldn’t deny the slight softness you felt from the moniker.
“You’ve promised yourself as all mine before,” he reminded you, “and I take no issue in claiming what’s mine.”
“That was said when I was drunk on you.”
“Deny all you’d like, sweet girl, you’re still mine.”
Hannibal tilted your head up slightly to kiss you. You couldn’t find it in yourself to care about why the music crescendoed in that moment. Not when he was kissing you with more passion than you had ever felt. He had a way of making it feel like you were the only beings in existence. Hannibal bit at your lip, asking for more, and you gave it to him without a thought. You’d do whatever he wanted at that moment. Still you couldn’t help grabbing his wrist when his hand found it’s way up your dress. He swallowed the helpless moan that slipped past your lips greedily.
You pulled away from him, your hips grinding onto his hand on their own accord. “Hannibal, I-“
He hushed you, “You’re missing a very important part of the show.” His hand didn’t let up from its ministrations as he continued to translate for you.
You went to cover your mouth with your hand, but Hannibal stopped you short, placing it back at your side. A quick mummer of be good was all he offered, not once stopping the pace he had set. You choked back the moan when he pressed against a spot that had been long neglected since the last time you paid him a visit. The music being so loud was your only safe haven, still, you pressed yourself further into Hannibal, hoping to hide yourself further from any wandering eyes that might look away from the show. Embarrassment and lust built with every thrust of Hannibal’s fingers. The former was getting increasingly easier to ignore as Hannibal pulled you closer and closer to your end. Pressing your face against his neck, you bit at the skin there in a cheap attempt at revenge for what he was putting you through.
Hannibal’s fingers stilled. A quiet chuckle met your ear when he heard your whimper of protest, stopping your hips as you attempted to help yourself. “Such an easy thing to toy with, you're nothing more than my own personal whore.” He didn’t miss the throb around his fingers at those words. “You’d let me use you however I’d like wouldn’t you?”
You gave a lazy nod as he brought his fingers up to your mouth. Eager to please him, hoping he’d let you finish, you opened your mouth and sucked his fingers clean. Behind your back, you felt him working himself out of his pants. Taking his hand away he adjusted your dress higher before pulling you on to his lap. With his other hand the head of his cock teased your clit, you forced yourself not to complain, knowing he’d go on longer if you did. When he finally pushed into you, you couldn’t fight off the moan of contentment as he filled you completely. Turning your head, you caught him in a languid kiss, caught up in only him despite the performance going on.
“Please?”
“What do you need?”
“You.” You shifted your hips slightly, “May I please move?”
“I’m sorry, little one,” you caught the slight upward twitch of his lip when you looked at him in disbelief, “I’d rather use you at my leisure.”
You whined in frustration, leaning against him knowing he’d play a cruel game. This time he offered no translations, keeping you entirely focused on the feeling of him buried deep inside of you doing nothing to help relieve your need for him. When you did manage to distract yourself, he circled your clit and gave a few sharp thrust, just enough to bring you back where he wanted you. His hand continued, changing the rhythm every so often so you’d stay aware of your position.
“I’ll be so good,” you begged helplessly.
“And yesterday you had been so against it despite having our privacy in the library,” he reminded you, pushing in and out of you in a too slow pace, but at least he was moving, “What was it that was missing, hm? The audience that could look up and see me using what’s mine?”
You didn’t know what had changed. Not truely. Maybe it was the couple of glasses of wine you had drunk throughout the day. Perhaps it was just finally getting what you had wanted for so long. Honestly, you couldn’t find yourself to be curious enough to find out.
“I wanna cum,” you told him, swallowing the embarrassment.
“I don’t know, darling, you’ve tried to find comfort with others. I really can’t say I approve of the notion. Suppose, I could just use you for your worth and leave you dry.” He groaned into your ear as you clenched around him, he sped up his thrust, “There’s my good girl, you like the sound of that?”
“Hannibal, please,” you whimpered, “I’ve wanted you for so long.”
“Beg for it.”
“I’ll never look for anyone else again. It was so stupid to think anyone else could make me feel as good as you.” Your breath hitched when he struck deeper, “I've been so desperate for you.”
“That’s all so very sweet, but that’s not exactly what I want to hear.”
You whined quietly as you tried to figure out the right combination of words to get you what you wanted. “I’m just yours… No one else’s… You’re the only one, I’m so sorry…”
“See? Was it so hard to apologize for your misconduct?”
You shook your head.
He pinched your thigh. “Words, darling.”
“No, daddy,” you moaned, as his hands guided your hips to move with him, “But I’ll be good for you now.”
“I still don’t think you deserve to cum, you pathetic thing.”
“You’ll let me?”
Hannibal’s hand grabbed your jaw roughly, making you look at him. “Next time I won’t be so generous. Understood?”
You swallowed down the slight twinge of fear that had worked its way into your system. “Yes, sir.”
He pushed your face away. “Work for it yourself.”

For The Girl Who Has Everything
Masterpost link for Reelin’ In The Years: Here
AO3 Link: Here
wc: 2.4k Summary:  Claire is too mad to even look at Cas let alone talk to him. Dean knew he had to step up because two people with messed up childhoods and anger issues really need to spend more time together talking about their feelings.
When Chuck was defeated, a lot of people came to the bunker to celebrate. Those times were a big blur to Dean, his focus was on finding a way to save Cas, and it wasn’t until he saw Claire run down those steps that the world focused again. She smiled at him, a rare big grin, before her arms wrapped around his neck to bring him down for a hug with an intoxicating giggle.
‘She didn’t know,’ Dean thought as his arms hung loosely at his sides.
He hid his face in her curls, not knowing how to face another kid Cas left behind because of him. He was holding his breath when she pulled away to look at him. Her eyebrows were raised in a question that Dean didn’t hear. Didn’t want to hear.
She repeated it, “Dude, where’s Cas? Is the old man sleeping or something?”
‘Yes.’ Dean swallowed the hard lump in his throat.
He didn’t look at the audience around them when he finally opened his mouth to say, “Claire, Ca—” He couldn’t say his name. He felt like it would tear the fragile wall that was keeping him on his feet if he did. “I’m sorry.”
Dean watched as her face twisted into confusion, understanding, and then settling into anger.
She was trying to fight the tears, but they fell as she yelled, “No! No, you were—Where were you? Why didn’t you protect him?”
“He protected me. He—he saved me.”
She looked at him with round eyes, shaking her head as if not wanting to believe it.
“Then it should’ve been you! You should’ve died! Not him!” Dean flinched at the words that have been echoing in his head since that night. “It’s not fair!”
Claire’s angry fist collided with his chest. He flinched at every hit but didn’t back away as her punches became sporadic but still filled with grief. Maybe even guilt.
“I’m sorry.” Dean knew those words did nothing to comfort, but he couldn’t help but say them. “I’m so sorry, Claire.”
She screamed in frustration until her punches weakened, and he was holding her. Then, finally, she fell against him, her face hidden in his chest as her grip tightened on his shirt.
She didn’t stay after that.
She walked back up the stairs with Jody and Kaia following behind her. Jack tried to talk to her, but she couldn’t even look at him. Dean couldn’t blame her.
It’s hard to look at the kid when he reminded them of the person they lost.
Of course, Dean never told Cas any of this.
Since coming back, Cas had been dealing with the silent treatment from the killer Barbie. She only replied with the thumbs-up emoji, and when Cas was too much, she responded with the middle finger emoji. A little warning advising Cas to back off.
She only visited him once, but that was when Cas was in the hospital. She freaked out, yelled at him for being stupid, and then passed out by his bed only to leave the next morning like nothing ever happened. Still, it made Cas feel a little better knowing she still cared, but she was dealing with it her way. Or, as Cas liked to say, she was dealing with feelings the Dean Winchester way. Of course, he’ll argue it wasn’t true, but he knows he won’t win that one.
Now he was sitting awkwardly in Jody’s living room watching Kaia and Patience play with Jack on the floor while Claire and Cas had a yelling match in the privacy of the backyard. Well, Claire was yelling while Cas was trying very hard to keep his tone even, which only made Claire angrier.
“I’m done talking to you!” Claire slid the glass door open and stormed through the living room.
“Then try listening to me!” Cas followed behind her, watching as she walked straight past the living room and towards the front door. “Claire. Claire, where are you going?”
She whipped around to glare daggers at Cas, eyes wide filled with tears, but she still looked at him with a pained grimace. “Did you even think of me? When you were out there being a damn hero. Did you-Did you think of me?” Her voice breaking on the last word made Dean flinch.
“Claire, of course-”
“No. No, of course, you didn’t. Cause if you did, then you wouldn’t have-” She bit her cheek as tears started to fall. She stood tall, presenting as strong, as her expression hardened. “You left me, Castiel. And now I-I don’t,” She looked around the room. It was quiet as everyone watched the interaction before her eyes landed on a little Jack in Kaia’s arms. She clicked her tongue before turning back to the door. “I’m leaving.”
“Claire.” Cas tried following her, but Dean quickly rushed up to stop him. “Dean. I may not have my strength, but I will-”
“Calm down, Rocky,” Dean had a hand on Cas’s shoulder to stop him. “I just wanted to stop you from making it worse.”
“I don’t think I can. She hates me.”
“She doesn’t.” He assures his boyfriend with a little smile, but Cas simply rolled his eyes at him. “Okay, you stay here. Talk to your son, and I’ll go talk to the other kid.”
“Oh yeah? What are you going to say to her?”
“I don’t know, but like you said before. Two fuck up’s just understand each other.”
“I didn’t say-”
“Yeah. Yeah. Just let me handle this. You trust me, right?”
Cas made a face at that, not answering quickly enough before he said, “Just bring her home.”
“Gee. Thanks for the confidence, babe.”
Dean ran after Claire, forcing his way to her passenger side as she started to back up on the driveway.
“Thanks for waiting, kid. Where we going?” Dean buckled up just in time for Claire to slam the breaks. Unfortunately, he hit his head on the front dash because the damn seat was scooted forward, his knees were practically pressed against his chest, which made sense knowing a tiny Kaia would usually occupy the seat. “Ow.”
“You aren’t going anywhere. Get out.”
Dean ignored her scary and oddly familiar glare as he pushed the seat back so his legs could fit. “Oh, come on. My treat.”
She didn’t have time to argue because Cas walked out of the front door—his trust in him really was lacking—and Claire decided that dealing with Dean was much easier than having to talk to Cas again. But, of course, he would take that as a compliment.
Claire drove with loud rocker girl music vibrating the windows and didn’t stop until she finally parked outside some ice cream shop.
“I want a shake.” She sniffled, and Dean did his best to ignore her red blotchy eyes for her sake.
“Sure, kid.”
They drank their shakes and shared some fries while sitting on top of Claire’s ugly little red. Well, she sat, and he leaned, but either way, silence remained.
He didn’t want to pressure her to talk—she would probably lie if he did—but still, he wanted to ease the tension between Cas and her, salvage a relationship he knew was important to both of them, but he didn’t know where to start.
Maybe he could start with his own guilt.
“I’m sorry.” He cleared his throat as he felt the smooth ice cream start to turn to gum down his throat. He looked down at his shake, lifting the straw up and down to hear the gloppy sound while trying to figure out what to say to her.
She hummed, “‘bout what?”
“Not telling you. About Cas. What happened to him.” He sighed and looked back at her. “Sorry. I should have called, but I wasn’t—I was a mess. I couldn’t be there for you. I couldn’t even be there for Jack. I should have-”
“It’s okay.” She waved her hand up to stop him. “I-I get it. I mean, it’s not, but whatever.”
“So, are you gonna tell me why you’re mad?”
She rolled her eyes, once again the gesture was familiar, before slamming the shake on the hood and sliding off the car. She crossed her arms over her chest, looking so small as she kicked a pebble on the floor.
“He replaced me.”
Her voice was quiet. Almost like she didn’t want to admit it out loud.
“I know it’s stupid and-and I’m acting like a child, but…” She quickly sniffled again before running her hand through her hair nervously. Looking up to stare into the darkening sky, acting like everything was okay. “He’s not my Dad, but he’s the closest thing I have, and I just thought—I just thought that maybe he felt the same way.”
She shrugged, her lips pinching together as if trying to hold something back, before retaking control of her expression. A glare directed towards Dean replaced the lost child stare into the stars, but the lost child was still there.
“Kid…” Dean sighed, head scrambling for words.
“I’m not a kid.”
“You’ll always be a kid to me.”
Claire teased with a little smirk. She definitely learned this from Dean or Jody. “Whatever you say, old man.”
“Old—Claire.” She let out a breath of a laugh before rolling her eyes away from Dean. “I’m trying to be serious. Cas… he loves you. He-he loves you like you were his own.” She didn’t look at him, but he could see her face scrunch up, ready to argue. “He worries about you constantly, and Jack knows all about you because he won’t shut up about how awesome you are.”
“He says that? He says I’m awesome?”
“Well, awesome is my word, but you get the gist.” He turns to face her even though she doesn’t meet his gaze. “Cas may not be your Dad, but he loves you like a daughter. Sometimes—yeah, a lot of the time actually—he makes stupid decisions, but it’s cause he is trying his best. And he cares. That dumbass cares way too much about the damn world, but he’s also someone who would give up the whole world if it meant keeping you safe.”
“Stop making excuses for him!”
“Claire, you gotta believe me. He didn’t mean to hurt you.”
She finally turned to look at him. “But he did. He hurt me! He left me!”
“He left me too!” Dean raised his voice; it sounded broken to admit such a thing out loud. And to Claire of all people. He slumped down against the car again and looked at the ground to ignore her big blue eyes throwing sympathy glares his way. “He left me—more times than you know. And—and don’t tell anyone I told you this—but I…I was scared. Each goddamn time I’m scared that this may be it! That this time…this time he won’t come back to me.”
“But he did.” Her voice sounded so far away.
“Yeah. Had to work a little bit harder on my end, but I got him.” He reached over and patted her shoulder. “We got him back.”
Something in the way her eyes went cold and far away made his fight drain out. He didn’t know what else he could do or say, but he opened his arms just in time to have her fall against him. His face mushed into her curls while he hugged her tight into his chest.
“Were you mad at Cas?”
Dean thought about it for a second. “No. I mean, I was at first. That asshole got himself killed over and over again. Leaving me alone.”
“But you had Sam. Jack.”
“Yeah,” Dean pulled back and looked down at her. “Well, you had Jody. Kaia. Alex. Patience and even Donna. Made it any easier for you?”
“No.”
“No.” He chuckled while she hid her face from him, asking him to continue. “But I was mad at him. Real fucking pissed, actually. At him. At…at everyone. Sam and Jack didn’t even wanna be near me.” He tries to shake off those dark memories of screaming and feeling nothing but agonizing loneliness. “I just shut down and gave up on…a lot of things because he was gone. Couldn’t really see a point, you know?”
“I’m sorry. I didn’t know.”
“I get why you’re mad, Claire. Trust me, I do, but he’s back now.”
“And I’m just supposed to forgive him? Did you just forgive him?”
Dean shrugged, looking back down at her sad baby blues. Hoping she would understand and that she won’t tease him about it later on. “I didn’t want to waste any time being mad at him. I love him too much.”
“Gross.” She pushed him away this time, tucking her hair behind her ear before smiling at him. It reminded him of Jack’s little shy smile. “But I-I think you’re right. Maybe I’m done wasting time.”
They drove back with the music luckily a little lower but Dean just watched Claire drive with a growing smile on his face. He’s gonna have to admit that Cas was right, two messed up people can really relate and help each other out.
When they walked into the house, Dean took Jody from marching over to Claire to lecture her. “Just wait,” he whispered to her, and luckily she listened to him. They both held their breath as Claire walked over to Cas—who looked like he had been sitting in that seat freaking out since they left—and asked if they could try talking outside again. He blinked up at her a few times before nodding, following her to the backyard again.
Everyone let out a sigh of relief when the glass door closed behind them.
“Dean.” He looked up towards his kid, who reached for him from Kaia’s arms on the couch. Dean quickly walked over to pick him up, pressing a kiss to his head while trying not to let guilt eat at him. “Is Dad okay?”
“Don’t worry, bud.” Dean watched Jack’s eyes that showed how much he has experienced, how much he understood. “He’ll be fine.”
“Promise?”
“Promise.”
On the drive back, Cas had a smile plastered across his face. They hadn’t had a chance to talk about what happened, considering Cas walked in, ready to introduce Jack to Claire. Then Cas spent the rest of the night watching his kids getting along, looking the happiest Dean had seen him in a really long time.
“So, what did you and Claire talk about?”
Cas hummed before looking up at Dean as if just remembering that he was there. “Oh. Um, she just made me promise her something.”
“And what’s that?”
“Same thing I promised you. Don’t get dead anymore.”
“Oh. Good. Keep that promise.”
“I’ll do my best.” Cas looked back at Jack before he leaned over and pressed a kiss on Dean’s cheek. “I have a lot to live for now. A family.”
A family. Yeah.
Dean took a peek at Jack with the mirror and then watched as Cas changed his phone background pic to one of Claire spinning Jack around in the living room.
They were a real family.

Colin is in relatively good spirits when he gets to the meeting place. Your kisses are still on his mind and he hopes whatever work that needs to get done will happen quickly so he can get back to you.
As he pulls into a parking spot outside a local club, Mare climbs into the passenger seat.
“Hey,” she says. “Thanks for meeting me.” Her eyes take in his jacket and tie. “Did I interrupt something…again?”
“First date,” Colin admits.
Mare gives him a soft smile. “Sorry about that.”
“It’s okay. She understands.”
Mare nods, turning her attention to the club. “Found out that one of our informants hasn’t been checking in. He’s said to frequent this club.”
“Let’s hope he still does.” Colin puts the car in park but doesn’t turn it off, letting the heat run. The temperature has dropped significantly and all he can think about is your warm bed and body waiting for him.
Time slowly ticks by and while numerous people come and go, Mare doesn’t react so Colin assumes the informant hasn’t been seen. By now he knows Mare well enough to try not to push conversation, so they sit in silence. To his surprise, his partner is the one to speak next.
“How did the date go?” Mare asks.
He’s surprised by her interest and excited to talk about you. “A little rocky in the beginning. We were both nervous. But, after that…” He smiles, remembering how stunning you looked sitting across from him in the restaurant. “Um, yeah, after that, things went well.”
“You gonna see her again?”
Hopefully right after this if it doesn’t go too late…
Colin nods. “Definitely.”
Mare nods along with him. He can’t help but wonder what she’s thinking and how she feels about him getting closer to you. It’s strange to think these things, to want some kind of validation from your boss. But Mare has the energy about her and Colin is a people pleaser.
“You two really like each other,” Mare notes.
He smiles, though her words do sting a little. “Should I be insulted that you sound surprised?”
Mare smirks as she shrugs. “You can if you want to be. I didn’t mean it as an insult or anything. I’ve just never seen my girl take a liking to someone so fast.”
Colin feels his cheeks redden and he smiles. “That’s nice to hear.”
Mare looks him over, studying him like she does a piece of evidence or a suspect. “You two will be good together.”
Colin opens his mouth to thank her, but her expression hardens and she motions towards the club.
“That’s him!” she says, nodding towards the guy headed their way.
Colin barely has a chance to look at the informant before Mare is getting out of the car. The second the man sees her he turns around and books it.
“Shit!” Mare exclaims giving chase.
Colin swears and jumps out of the car himself. He takes off running after them, doing his best to catch up. The freezing night air steals his breath away but he pushes through it, weaving between cars. The informant does the same, trying to trip them up. Colin dodges around the cars on his left in an attempt to swing around and cut him off.
He’s gaining in the man but suddenly, the informant turns unexpectedly then barrels right into Colin, sending him flying back into a car. The next thing he knows, he’s on the ground, his palm on fire from scraping against the asphalt in his attempt to catch himself.
“Zabel?!”
“I’m fine! Keep going!” He barely gets the words out after having the wind knocked out of him.
He hears Mare’s footsteps run past as he takes a moment to catch his breath. By the time he pushes himself to his feet, Mare is coming his way, looking annoyed.
“Lost him,” she sighs heavily.
Colin feels the bile rise in his throat and anger courses through his veins. “Fuck! I’m so sorry.”
“It’s not your fault, Zabel.”
“But I had him!”
“Don’t beat yourself about it. If anything, I’m the one to blame. He ran when he recognized me.”
Her words don’t make Colin feel better. His already shaky confidence is shattered. Resting against the parked car, he yanks his tie off, using it to wrap his injured hand.
“You alright?”
“I’m fine,” Colin says, terser than he means to. “So, what should we do now?”
“I’ll call it in. Let them know that he was spotted. At least this means he’s in the area. If they don’t find him on the streets, they’ll get him at his place. Someone will pick him up.”
“Should we do a quick drive around?”
“Nah. It’s late. You should head home.”
Mare walks with him to his car. Colin’s knee is killing him and his pants are covered in mud. What had started as such a great evening went downhill fast.
“Go home and get some rest,” Mare says as he eases himself into his car. “I’ll let you know when he’s picked up.”
“Yeah, thanks.”
Colin sits in his car for a moment, watching Mare get into her SUV. A small part of him wants to just go home and wallow in his self-pity. But a larger, more vocal side tells him to go to your place. Picking up his phone, he pauses for a second of contemplation before shooting you a quick text to see if you’re still awake.
Awake and waiting ;) comes your response only seconds later.
He’s twitchy and fidgety the entire drive, his throbbing hand just reminding him of his latest failure. It seems like every time he’s finally going to prove himself, he only manages to prove himself wrong.
When he pulls up to your apartment, he doesn’t hesitate getting out of the car. This time the cold barely registers.
You’ve left the door unlocked so he lets himself in, making sure to lock it behind him. The warmth of your place makes him feel a tiny bit better. He calls your name when you don’t come to greet him.
“In here, Detective Zabel.”
Colin’s heart nearly stops when he walks into your room to find you lounging on your bed in the sexiest panties and bra he’s ever seen. The only source of light is the dimmed lamp on your nightstand. It’s just enough to cast everything in a warm yellow glow.
The second you see his muddy pants and his tie wrapped around his hand, you sit up, face etched with concern.
“What happened?” you ask, getting off the bed.
Colin looks down at his hand. “Oh, you know, doing big shot detective work.”
“Does it hurt?”
“A little.”
“Here, sit down. I think I have a first aid kit stashed somewhere around here.”
You gently lead him to the bed, having him sit before you rummage around your room. Colin kicks out of his shoes as he carefully takes off his coat and suit jacket. His body is already sore and he knows tomorrow he’s going to be in a lot of pain.
When you come back to his side, you gently take his hand in yours. He watches you delicately unwind the tie before examining the scrape on his palm. It doesn’t look as bad as he thought it was. You grab a wipe from your kit and clean out his wound.
“Do you want to talk about it?”
Colin debates not saying anything, but one look in your eyes makes him sigh. “I let an informant get away.”
“I’m sure you didn’t let them get away.”
“No, I guess not,” Colin concedes, seeing your point. “But I didn’t stop him or catch him like I was supposed to.”
You fall silent as you finish cleaning his palm and put a Band-Aid on it. “Well,” you say in a quiet tone. “You tried and that’s all that matters. You guys will get him next time.”
Colin stares at you, eyes raking down your body, just casually sitting there in the underwear you planned to seduce him with. It sparked the fire inside his already antsy body. He cups your cheek and pulls you into a kiss. It’s harsher, with more tongue and teeth than he usually uses yet feels appropriate considering the storm of emotions inside of him.
Your mouth falls open in surprise and he takes advantage, licking deep inside as he crushes you against his chest.
There’s so much he knows he can’t do. So much of his job that he knows he’s not qualified for. He’s reminded of it every fucking day.
But this. You. Making you feel good. He knows that he can do. It’s the first time in a long time that he’s felt truly sure of himself.
Your hands come up to his shoulders and you push him back to break the kiss. “Colin, baby…”
You’re, breathless and hearing his name in that tone only fuels his lust.
“Please,” he whispers against your lips as he draws you closer. “Please, I just need…” He can’t finish his thought.
You study him for a moment, before running your hand through his hair, peppering him with kisses. “What do you need, baby?” you ask. “How can I help?”
Dominance washes over him and he gets his voice back. “Lay down on the bed.”
As you do as he says, he stands up and strips. Despite the heat of your room, he still feels chilled to the bone. All he can think about is getting his hands on you and making you moan. Planning ahead, he drops his wallet on the nightstand so the condoms will be just within reach when he needs them.
Naked, Colin kneels on the bed, eyes raking up and down your frame as he leans over you. He swoops down for a kiss, losing himself in the taste of your lips while his hand cups your breast, giving it an appreciative squeeze.
You gasp and shudder. “Your hands are freezing!”
“Then let me warm them up.”
He tugs the flimsy material down so your breast is exposed, fondling it just as roughly as he had a moment before. The heat of your skin sears into his palm and you gasp again, writhing underneath him until the temperatures balance out.
Colin doesn’t stop kissing you, drunk on your lips just as he has been every single time they touch his. You bury one hand in his hair and the other falls to his hip, urging him on with a gentle squeeze. His thumb rubs circles around your nipple before he breaks your kiss so he can take the bud in his mouth.
You bow your back when he does, pressing your breasts into his face even more. Colin moans, lavishing your nipple with constant attention until he decides the other has been ignored for far too long.
Both your hands cradle his head now, keeping him pressed against your chest until he decides he needs to taste more. He needs your legs over his shoulders and your thighs clamped over his ears. He needs you moaning his name as he makes you come undone.
Your panties are yanked down without much preamble or ceremony. As nice as they are, they only serve as an obstacle between Colin and what he wants. He’s rough when he throws your legs over his shoulders before tugging you down the bed towards him. With a strangled moan, he buries himself between your thighs.
God, you’re already wet. He tastes your arousal with a thorough swipe of his tongue, relishing in the notion that he’s the one who made you like this. He’s the one who has you moaning and squirming underneath him. Emboldened by your reaction, Colin sucks on your clit, grunting as you squeeze his head with your thighs. He can sense you clenching at nothing, feel your hips attempt to jerk upward for more friction. But he pins them down, doesn’t do what you’re silently begging for.
Instead, he keeps doing what he’s doing, alternating between sucking and flicking with his tongue. He’s just as warm as you are now, beads of sweat trickling down his neck and making your legs slip on his shoulders. He only holds you tighter.
When he finally eases two fingers into you, he receives a harsh hair pull for his efforts. It makes him grin, his cock pressing eagerly against the bed. He’s not ready yet, doesn’t want to stop pleasuring you for even a moment because it’s the surest of himself he’s been in years.
This time when you come, he feels your body clench around his fingers. He lets your pelvis rocks against his face and he loses all train of thought other than the feeling of you coming all around him.
The second you relax, he sits up, gasping for air and taking in the gorgeous sight of you, bra tucked under your breasts and legs spread wide.
He reaches for a condom before you even have a chance to catch your breath. You see him roll it on and wiggle out of your bra, tossing it somewhere off to the side.
Colin grabs your legs, wrapping them around his waist before pushing into you with one smooth thrust.
You throw your head back with a gasp, “Colin!”
With his hands on either side of your hips, he fucks into you. His eyes never leave your face, taking in every expression. The way your eyebrows knit together when you shut your eyes or how your teeth dig into your bottom lip…it’s intoxicating.
Your hands cling onto his arms, tugging as though you’re trying to pull him closer. He doesn’t follow through, not yet. He wants to keep watching.
You open your bleary eyes and he loses himself in them.
How did he get so fucking lucky to have someone like you look at him this way? To see him for who he is? Even though you don’t know. You don’t know what he did. If you did, he doubts you’d look at him the way you are now.
He kisses you harshly, pressing his body against yours and, grinding himself into your heat.
It’s his turn to moan your name, his lips unable to leave yours for more than a second.
“You feel so good,” he moans. “I love the way you squeeze me. It’s like you’ll never let go.”
One of your hands buries into his hair while the other reaches blindly for his hand. When you find it, you twine your fingers with his and he presses your joined hands to the bed.
His mouth seeks your throat and moves down until he finds your breasts again. harsh kisses turn to him sucking on the flesh, desperate to leave his mark on you.
He comes not long after, throwing his head back with a guttural moan. You twitch and spasm underneath him, coming again but he’s too lost in his own pleasure to notice until he collapses on top of you and feels the aftershocks of your orgasm.
Colin can’t help but hold you close, even though your bodies are pressing so tight makes it hard to catch his breath.
You stroke his cheek, looking at him with concern. “Tonight really got to you, didn’t it?” you pant.
Colin nods, his forehead pressed to yours. “I’m sorry. So sorry for—”
“Don’t apologize.” You take his face between your hands and force him to look at you. “You have nothing to apologize for. That was actually really hot.”
Colin gives a breathless laugh before pulling you into another kiss. This time he’s gentler, carefully easing out of you so he can slide onto the bed. His movements allow you to finally take a deep breath and you slowly exhale. With shaking hands, Colin rids himself of the condom. He’s not one to be so rough and he’s worried he’s overstepped. But then you curl against his side, your arm thrown over his chest and your face buried in his neck.
“Hope you weren’t planning on going anywhere,” you say through a yawn.
Colin yawns himself, running a hand through his hair before tucking it behind his head. His other arm pulls you in close.
“Why? There’s nowhere else I’d rather be.”
He can feel your smile against his skin before you place a gentle peck on his throat. “Get some sleep, babe. We can talk more about it tomorrow if you want, okay?”
“I’d like that.”
You fall asleep almost instantly, but Colin stays awake, gently running his hand up and down your arm. Even after fantastic sex and being in your arms, he only feels marginally better. That little anxious voice in his head won’t quiet down and it takes a long time before he’s able to fall asleep.
