#I almost never use twitter for several reasons but I do check in suuuper rarely when I want to look at fanart #and there's always some sort of xy argument on my tl no matter who I follow (or don't). I find comfort in this.#it's an important part of the pokeani online ecosystem #and my part in the ecosystem is 'critter that lives under a rock and occasionally scuttles out for crumbs only to run back afterwards'.#anyways my take on xy is that it did some good things and some bad things like every other season of pokeani. idk.#i know that's an incredibly boring opinion but oh well #i've never been well situated to be passing judgment on which seasons are the highest quality anyways kdjskfjsdkf.#rocks and glass houses and all that jazz.#i mean i do have opinions on xy but i think my opinions are just kind of in the middle and boring?#there's some good and some bad and lots of missed potential. that's pokeani as a whole for you though.#I could make a pros/cons list for every season and I think it'd be pretty balanced at the end of the day tbh?#each season has good and bad things. it's just about finding which seasons have the good things you like!#maybe it's just the people pleasing middle-grounder in me but i really think all seasons are pretty even at the end of the day-#they just appeal to different people.#every season is someone's favorite and every season has haters. this is normal and fine.#but by all means keep the arguing going. people not arguing about xy would be an apocalypse-is-coming type of change honestly

Hey THG fans thanks to somone else on here (I'm so sorry but I can't remember the name of your blog) I've kind of become obsessed with making book accurate (or as close as I can get) picrews of Hunger Games characters & now that I'm done with Katniss & Peeta I wanted to show you all some other characters I've been working on. We ate oven toasted sandwiches and I greatly struggled with drawing a single character in my notebook while sitting at my grams dinner table later. She told me a bunch of stories, many of which had alot I'd already heard and oh yeah my grandma just utterly fell in love with the two plushies I brought along :) peace and love

am i the only one who thought the inheritance games was just okay

#the clues and puzzles weren't even all that....they weren't jaw dropping or had me going 'oh that's pretty clever'#it was just.....kind of boring #the chapters were crazy short though so i flew through it. but i wasn't absorbed into it or anything #also the reveal at the end....i'd suspected that right from the very beginning so it wasn't the shocking cliffhanger it was meant to be :/#don't feel at all compelled to read the next book tbh

Ngl I don't know that I'll Ever switch to only wearing men's clothing unless I get like, masculinizing liposuction. Men's pants don't even come in my size unless I were to buy them custom fit because of my, to put it politely, tonka truck ass and diminutive stature. Men's shirts are much better in fit than women's, but they're fucking boring. Can't even buy some fucking cargo pants. And quite frankly I don't think most people pay close enough attention to the minutia of other's appearance to notice that I wear women's slacks.

#I did fit into them when I was like 12 and 100 pounds lighter but I was even then at the very far end of the waist sizing #While wearing a women's medium. Like it's just my build. Sigh.#Also women's shoes. I wear a women's 9 which is easily available in stores but a men's 6 (7?) is not #And they tend to come in wider fit than women's. Although women's shoes are tight in certain parts so idk. I just only wear broken in boots #Shirts are 50/50. Men's shirts look much better on me fit wise but they're pretty boring at least where I live #So all my boring staple shirts are men's and everything with a pattern or cool sleeve or whatever is women's #It's annoying though. I feel like people think of it as an act of nonconformity when it's just what fits me while not being dead boring #I've had very wide hips and a giant ass since puberty it's always been very hard to find clothes that fit me at all #I cannot afford to be more picky tbh

#ill need to research clothes more though even though i understand the basics #and tbh l. furius is mostly seen in toga+tunic and c. martinus in a plain tunic when he doesnt Have to wear the toga. but i need more casua #outfits for them...#for both of them i need to strike a balance between socially acceptable clothes and clothes they would like to wear. bcs c. martinus would #go around naked if he could. he is dressing as sluttily as possible all the time. he has that antonystyle short tunic thing going on... and #he also likes all things luxurious so he definitely has at least one outrageously purple outfit. and l. furius is soooo worried about how #hes percieved but he also likes to cover up as much as possible/wear loose baggy clothing. i imagine (and ive drawn it too)him wearingloose #robes with long sleeves around the house but its not something he could be seen in in public unless he wants to get made fun of . he also #wears mostly dark colors but i have to strike a balance between his boring taste in clothes and ones he looks good in... +i should #also give him some frumpy ass fits because he wouldnt really know how to dress himself that well tbh (caecilia probably helps him pick #outfits that look good though) anyway he tends to wear tunics that are very long and loose to cover as much of himself as is reasonably #socially acceptable. and no one has commented on it so far due to his intimidating vibe. at least not to his face #ficposting #also l. furius wouldnt have as many different clothes as c. martinus bcs he was pretty broke for a long time. so a lot of his are old
