Finally turned 19. Time flies fr. If the younger me were to see me today, she would def be astonished to see ehow far I've come. 18 as pretty tough on me and the time spent was super exhausting, but that might just be another rough episode of how life is. Keep in mind I didn’t even like list every fic I could think of cause I realized halfway through thinking of them that I’d be naming the whole fexi county 😭 but THESE are great reads and by really phenomenal never the same was transformed and rebirthed writers. I’d also really urge to go through their accounts too. They’re excruciatingly talented with a WIDE WIDE range of type of fics (And If you need a longer list, I am more than happy to write you one with more users. I wish I could include them all).

24. Did you write any gifts this year?

yes! writing gift fics is so much fun tbh

i wrote fool’s gold for @calculated2stagger’s birthday! we were chatting about potential romcom au’s and realized we’d both been craving a “the wedding date” adaptation. it was so much fun to write and even better to receive her lovely comments 💕

i also wrote two fics based on @bobrossstan and @xxxsam19’s brilliant prompts so i gifted wonderstruck and inspiration point to them!

and lastly i’m working on a fic for the feximas gift exchange that will be out later this month ❤️💚🤍

i took my third shot yesterday and its still so wild to me that its working. the food noise is barely there anymore. its only when i realsie i havent had a snack in a few hours that the thought of food crosses my mind, but even then, i have no desire to snack! i havent checked the scale in a little bit, frankly because im scare. lol.

im not gorging myself on food at all anymore. im more weary of what i eat. Last night was MILs birthdau so we went out to eat. ANd i only barely ate half of my food. im so so proud of myself.

I'm still struggling to get protein in my body, but my journey is only just beginning. im so so proud of myself for sticking to this.

life's updates.

my doctor prescribed me Zepbound last week. I take my second dosage tomorrow. havent had any major side effects... except the food noise is SILENT.'

i havent been thinking about food at ALL this week. it's so strange, considering im always snacking or eating food. but i've had ENOUGH of being fat and not being able to walk around my street.

i want to be fit, and I want to be able to breathe, I dont want to be in pain anymore. I'm able to sit and stand for long periods of time, i've noticed. I don't want to buy shoes every other month because my feet and weight are flattening my insoles so quickly.

Starting this journey, i am currently 232.2 pounds. (as of October 17, 2024.)

I took my first dose this past Thursday and the appetite suppression was immediate for the first two or so days. The “food noise” in my head is GONE. I’ve had a couple headaches and some gas/burps/acid reflux.

I don’t see any changes yet (not surprising, honestly.)

Precovid I weighed 165 pounds. But a LOT of traumatic and emotional things have happened to me around 2018-2019 and I gained ALOT of weight up until this year.

I’m the heaviest I’ve ever been. I’m a severely emotional eater and my hubs knows this. But almost within the hour of me taking my first dose, the food noise in my brain stopped. I don’t travel to my kitchen for snacks every half hour. I don’t find myself thinking of food nearly as often as I did this time last week.

Besides the acid reflux and constipation, I don’t have major symptoms yet.

Pre Covid I weighed around 165. I’m now 245. I’ve gained almost 100 pounds from 2019 to now. I know the weight isn’t as severe as a lot of other folks on here. But I was a SMALL child/teen/young adult. Before 2018, my heaviest was 140.

Idk what I’m rambling about. Just nervous for my second shot tomorrow.

Prompt luz arrives on the boiling isles before amity cut ties with willow

Holy shit this is a long one. Does anyone know how to do those keep reading things, cause I don't wanna fill up a lot of space. Anyways enjoy

Willow and Amity had always like going to the market. They loved all the cool stuff they would find. While Willows dads were looking through the market, they would wander to other stands looking at exotic artifacts. One day they ran into the most exotic thing they could find. Literally. They ran into a human. She looked the same age as them, had brown hair, brown eyes, tan skin, and a purple sweater with weird looking dolphins. Amity helped willow up and began shouting at the human.

Amity: HEY. WATCH WHERE YOUR GOING

Luz: I'M SORRY. POR FAVOR, NO ME REGAÑES

Amity couldn't understand the latter portion. Willow observed the girl careful. She noticed something about her ears were off. Willow tugged on Amity's shirt and whispered in her ear.

Willow: Wait Amity. I think thats a human.

Amity: No way. That's not possible

Willow: Look at her ears.

Amity took a closer look at the human and gasped.

Amity: She is human

Willow: See? I told you

Amity: What do we do now?

Willow: I know.

Willow approached the human carefully. She didn't want her to run away.

Willow: Hi. I'm Willow and that's Amity. What's your name?

Luz: Luz. Luz Noceda

Willow: Hi Luz. How did you get here from the human world?

Luz: I-I don't know

Amity tugged on Willows shirt.

Amity: I don't think she know how to get back to the human world.

Willow: Then we'll take care of her. She can live with me until we find a way to get her back.

Amity had some mixed feeling about the decision but went with it anyway. Amity and Willow tried to convince Willow parents to let her keep Luz. Eventually they agreed with the condition that she stays in the house when Willow went to school and luz has to cover her ears with a hat when they got out. Both of which weren't major problems. As time went on, Amity and Willow grew fond of Luz. They taught her about magic, demons and the Boiling Isles. Luz found it fascinating. One day, Amity came to Willows house with big news.

Amity: MY BIRTHDAY PARTY IS COMING

Willow: THAT'S AMAZING

Amity: Yeah. I can't wait to invite you and Luz

Luz: A birthday party?

Amity: You don't know what a birthdau party is?

Luz: I do. I never been to one before though.

Amity: Then mine can be your first.

Luz: REALLY

Luz hugged Amity super tight. Amity was a little startled at first but gladly returned the embrace.

Willow: This is gonna be awesome

A few weeks go by as Amity's birthday arrives. Willow and Luz show up to the Blight manor and step inside.

Amity: WELCOME GIRLS

Willow and Luz: AMITY

The three girls shared a group hug.

Amity: C'mon guys. Lets party.

Alador: Amity Blight

Alador, Amity, and Odalia went down a hall on the side of the entrance and entered a room inside the hall. Meanwhile Willow and Luz waited patiently for their friend. Luz started moving uncomfortably.

Luz: Hey Willow, do you know where the bathroom is.

Willow: I don't know. I think its over there

Willow pointed to the hall Amity and her parents entered.

Luz: Thank you

Luz started her way towards the hall. She tried to look for the bathroom but couldn't tell what was a bathroom and what wasn't. She stop when she heard commotion coming from one of the rooms.

Odalia: Good children don't squabble dear. Sever your ties with Willow. And if you don't-

Alador: Then we will

Odalia: We'll make sure the girl is never emitted into Hexside. Now go and try not to make a scene.

Amity looked down at her feet and shuffled out of the room. Luz ran towards the nearest room and tried to hide from Amity. She didn't want her to know that she was eavesdropping. Luz turned arond and found herself in a bedroom. She looked at the side of the room and saw a bathroom. She entered quickly and slammed the door behind her. Amity entered her bedroom and immediately started crying. She didn't want to break ties with Willow. Willow was her bestfriend. Amity got startled when her bathroom door open and Luz walked out.

Amity: WHAT ARE YOU DOING HERE.

Luz: I'm sorry I just needed to use the bathroom. I didn't mean to make you mad or hear your parents.

Amity looked in shock. She heard it?

Amity: Don't worry about it. It's not bad.

Luz: But they want you to stop being friends with Willow.

Amity: Well yeah but-

Luz: You're not going to listen to them are you?

Amity: I have to. They're my parents. I can't disobey them.

Luz: But they want you to do something you don't like.

Amity got frustrated at that.

Amity: YOU DON'T GET IT. I HAVE TO BE A GOOD DAUGHTER TO MY PARENTS. THEY HAVE BIG EXPECTATIONS FOR ME. YOU WOULDN'T KNOW WHAT THAT'S LIKE.

Amity broke down crying. She hugged herself tightly as if that's the last hug she'll ever get. Luz approached Amity carefully, thinking if she moved unexpectedly, Amity might run away.

Luz: I might not know a lot about you. But I know what that's like.

Amity: Do you?

Amity doubted she'd be in that situation

Luz: I do. My mom always thought I was weird. She didn't like the way I behaved and would have a crazy imagination. One she even said 'Why can't you just be normal'

Now it was Luz's turn to cry. She tried to remain strong for Amity, but couldn't help herself.

Luz: Please don't leave me and Willow. And if you do. Tell her the truth

Amity hugged Luz as tight as she could.

Amity: I'm going to try

Amity and Luz cleaned themselves up with tissues. Amity went to Willow and ask her to meet her in her room. When she arrived, Luz was there waiting and looking down. Willow looked confused.

Amity: You have to get out Willow.

Willow stood a little stunned.

Willow: Wait why

Amity: Because, because-

Willow grabbed Amity's arm. Holding it as if letting go would cause her to leave

Willow: Is it because I still can't do magic? Amity, I'm sorry I got us in trouble at the Beach. I just- I can't the spells right.

Amity looked at Luz who looked like she wanted to interfere.

Amity: Well. Yes, and no. Willow I know you can't do magic but I still want to be your friend.

Willow: Then why do you want me to leave.

Amity: Because my parents don't want you here. I'm sorry Willow, but I can't disobey my parents.

Willow looked at Luz, then at Amity.

Willow: What about Luz.

Amity: She has to go too.

Willow started crying

Willow: So what do we do now. You're parents don't want to see us with you. How are we going to play.

Amity: I don't know.

The room got silent.

Luz: I'm going to miss you

Willow: Me too

Amity: Yeah, me too

Amity heard footsteps approaching her room.

Amity: You have to get out. Or I'm going to get in trouble.

Willow and Luz headed out the room. They left the manor and headed home. Both girls looked down. They weren't sure if they lost a friend or not. Guess they'll know in time.

Roman always knew there was something missing in his life, and yet he couldn’t quite place it. His life wasn’t horrible, and yet he felt disconnected.

His family always knew about this, and while his mother tried to be supportive, his dad was less… understanding, to put it in a way.

He remembered how his father practically forced him to take that trip into deer hunting, and Roman hated it. The simple idea of taking someone else’s life was horrible, even if it was just an animal.

“I promise you’ll love it, son.” His dad said, with his eyes still on the road.

Roman sighed, and looked out the window. “Whatever, dad.”

He took a different way that his father, with the excuse to cover up more territory which in reality wasn’t a lie but he just didn’t like the idea of being there.

He sighed, walking slowly, enjoying the clean air and clear sky. It wasn’t exactly a sunny day, but it wasn’t either a cloudy one. He was so lost in his thoughts he didn’t notice the presence until he almost crashed with it.

He gasped as the small deer stared at him, with curiosity. Roman attempted to grab the gun, but his intentions failed when the small animal took a step closer, making eye contact with the hunter.

“You’re so beautiful.” Roman wasn’t sure if he was going mad, but it seemed as if the deer smiled with pride. He moved his hand, trying to pet it and the deer nuzzle at his hand.

It was a weird kiss, considering one of them was an animal and the other should be shooting in the air. For some reason the deer didn’t run and the hunter never shoot.

Roman just laid his hand on the deer’s head, “Can I name you Logan?” the deer nuzzled again, licking his hand. Roman kissed his temple again and the deer run away.

Roman’s dad was incredibly angry that his son let the deer run away, but somehow Roman was so happy.

They only saw each other for 45 minutes 43 seconds, but that was all they needed.

Logan didn’t understand how time and their lives where involved, maybe future or past never existed. He knew no one could ever know that he remembered his pasts (or future?) lives. He also knew he was different, and maybe that was the reason his parents abandoned him when he was four years old.

He remembered them, of course, and he missed them dearly, but somehow, he understood that maybe this was how it was supposed to happened.

He yearned to have a family, but he knew no one would adopt the weird-cold-stubborn kid.

Then Mrs. Saunders came, and Logan knew he maybe trust someone. Don’t get him wrong, Virgil was also a different person.

“Weird isn’t an insult, son,” his foster dad would say the day after they formalized the adoption, “It’s a quality we should be proud of.” ~~~

Logan was sixteen, and he grew around labs, weird substances and the necessity to learn learn learn. Virgil was a proud dad, and he hoped that maybe one day they could work together.

Virgil loved his son, and he while he may be a mad scientist he would never put his son in danger. ~~~

Logan was twenty when Virgil revealed his plan, creating a different way of living.

“Kind of a robot?” Logan asked, looking at the design, which resemble almost a human being.

Virgil nodded enthusiastically, “Almost, but with independent thinking and with the ability of having its own choices.”

Logan nodded, internally, he was vibrating with happiness.

Logan was the one who suggested the acronym of R.O.M.A.N which stand up for Regal Obvious Miracle Anthropological & Noticeable. Virgil never commented about the horrible acronym and Logan never mentioned he just wanted to name him Roman because he remembered. ~~~

When his father took him to the lab right after they were done, he gasped as soon as he saw the robotic form. “He’s quite cool, right?” He’s gorgeous

He continued his job with R.O.M.A.N, giving him the ability to speak, to walk, to think and more importantly to love. He was a creative robot, his creative robot.

He perfectioned R.O.M.A.N even when Virgil couldn’t walk anymore, never leaving behind his father, of course.

“Sir,” R.O.M.A.N’s metallic voice said, “I think you should be with your father.”

Logan cleaned his brow with his forearm, “Come with me, then.”

Virgil’s last months were with his son and his creation, and he couldn’t be happier.

“Are you going to hold this against me?” R.O.M.A.N asked in his monotone voice one night, in their shared bedroom.

Logan smirked, “I create you, you owe me something.” He said, pressing his lips against the metallic ones

“I only owe you kisses.” He said, pressing another peck to his mouth.

“Four thousand, two hundred and seventy.” Logan whispered with his eyes closed.

“You’re unbelievable, sir.”

Kisses were different, cold and electric, but, honestly, this was the best life so far. They were together all the time and kissed flied always.

Except it wasn’t really, because honestly, who falls in love with a robot? Or that was Logan heard when his coworker destroyed his love and burnt this house.

This life was sad the moment it started.

Roman diagnosis was when he was only seven years old, and he outlived the expectative doctors had on him. “It’s a miracle.” the nurse said on his fifteen birthdau

What a miracle, to be connected to tubes for the rest of your life.

In reality, Roman considered his life at the hospital a misery.

Cliché as it sounded, it wasn’t until Logan became his hospital room’s partner that life started to be different. They were both terminally ill, however they never asked each other what about exactly.

First it was friendship, playing card games at night, staying up watching TV or just chatting while listening to music. It wasn’t until their first kiss that both remembered.

“Hey, specs, I missed you.”

Logan smiled softly.

That night they slept together, holding each other and just kissing softly their faces.

This life they couldn’t share more than fifty kisses, but at least they could slightly test marriage life.

Logan used his “wish” to marry Roman, and even if they hide behind friendship they knew the reality. After all, they still would hold each other at night.

Roman passed first, and Logan a few months after him. At least, there wasn’t some dramatic experience.

Logan was a wizard, a known one actually. He was a dark one. It wasn’t necessarily that he enjoyed putting misery upon people he just needed the money and apparently, people paid a lot of money to get revenge.

Turn my mother-in-law blind, cast a spell under my boss, made this person fall for me.

They were blinded with feelings Logan couldn’t understand at all.

~~~ He remembered the night he met (or again?) Roman. He was shivering, and Logan offered him to enter.

“I’ll pay you whatever you want, just make them stop.”

Logan stared at him, confused. “Who exactly.”

Roman the lifted his shirt, showing the bruises under it making Logan gasped in pain and anger, “My father.”

It was one death spell, the first and last one Logan ever casted.

The words slipped Roman’s tongue before he had even thought them, “Can I kiss you?”

Logan nodded, absentmindedly.
