10. Hi! First off thank you for all that you do! Can you please help me find a fic? This is a hard ask because I don’t remember a lot of particulars.

One of the main components of this fic focuses on the fact that Wei Wuxian really likes and prefers Lan Wangji. This fic observes how many people compare Lan Wangji to Lan Xichen and find him lacking because Xichen is much more sociable. I think Wei Wuxian even mistakes Xichen for Lan Wangji at some point and then is disappointed when he gets closer and sees Lan Xichen.

I think at least part of it is in Lan Xichen’s pov where he is pleased to see someone so devoted to his brother. I also think this fic mentions how most people consider Lan Xichen the prettier Twin Jade but Wei Wuxian absolutely thinks Lan Wangji is prettier. If I remember correctly this fic was complete when I read it. Thank you for your help! @kjwaikiki

He’s known where you’ve been the whole time, could smell you the whole time, could hear you the whole time. The two of you have been at this long enough now, his patience is starting to run thin. He's right behind you, if the violent thrashing of the brush over your shoulder getting louder is any indication. The dull sound of claws ripping through the forest floor growing closer and closer before the entire woods suddenly tilts on its axis.

"Please.. I will - I want to see him once. Please. I promise I won’t even step near. I will just take a look. Please eomeoni?"

"No! You - You are bad luck. Look what you did to my poor son. He was rushing to see you just because you fainted and look who's laying on the death bed now!"

"eomeoni.."

"Stop calling me that! You are no one to me! you are no no one to Namjoon. Leave right away or I'll have to report you." 

The conversion reels in your head as you stare at the man from afar. 

It's been a year since that dreadful night, the worst night of your life. It's been a year since you last saw him, heard his voice, until today. 

Your heart rips apart seeing him standing so gracefully with practiced elegance. Nothing has changed. He still looks the same. It feels as if it was just yesterday when he took you to the art fair and bought you that handmade clay-framed mirror. 

But you know things are far from being so simple, if anything then everything is much more complicated than ever. 

While you still stay awake each night, spending a fair share of time shedding tears for him, he doesn't even recall your name. He doesn't remember who you are, what you sound like, how your touches feel, or the time you two shared being so in love. 

You had vanished from his life long ago, vanished from his memories leaving absolutely no traces behind. 

He forgot you, even if you know he never intended to, even if you know it was a cruel decision of fate, he still forgot you and you can't change a thing about that. 

Silent tears fall from your eyes as you stare at him. Only you know how much you want to run to him, hold him tightly in your arms and tell him that you have waited for him, tell him that you have never stopped loving him, tell him that you love him more than anyone ever can. But you can’t.

And even if you do all these, what will be Namjoon’s reaction? He will just shove you to the ground thinking you are a crazy woman trying to throw herself at him. So you decided to leave. Meeting him unexpectedly here in the gallery should be more than enough for you. You can’t ask for more. You have no right to ask for more. 

You turn your heels to leave but you hear a faint voice calling you from behind. 

"Excuse me.." it's his voice. It's Namjoon. 

You start to panic. Contemplating whether you should run away or give in, you stay planted at your own place. 

"Hey. Um.. I am sorry to bother you but I- uh saw you staring at my direction and you seemed to be really familiar.. So, do we know each other?" Namjoon's voice is unsure and filled with confusion.

Your heart breaks. You know you should have not expected him to remember you but his confession still makes you weak on your knees. 

Blinking several times and gathering some strength, you turn around and face him. 

He's just as handsome as he used to be, if not more. 

Seeing you silent, Namjoon clarifies, "Sorry if I seem weird with my questions. I actually got into an accident last year and lost some of my memories. So I tend to ask people who they are if someone seems familiar to me. And you.." he pauses, his eyes raking through your face as if he's trying to find a clue "you seem to be someone very close to me." 

"I- I think you got the wrong idea. I mean - I, no, we.. we knew each other through some common friends but weren't exactly close." Your words fumble over each other much more than you would like. 

"oh- sorry then." A sheepish smile takes over Namjoon's face. 

His dimples make you sick and you want to run away from him. 

"I gotta go-"

"May I know your name?" 

You two speak out at the same time.

"Y/N. It's Y/N." You say hurriedly. 

"Yeah... Y/N" Namjoon whispers. 

You don't know if you're imagining things or not, but a flash of sadness passes through Namjoon's features. 

"I don't wanna sound like a creep but-" he hesitates.. "I would love to have a cup of coffee with you." 

"I am so sorry but I kinda have to go." You reply with your heart breaking into a thousand pieces all over again.

"oh.. then, can I at least have your number? Please?" Namjoon pleas. His voice quivers a bit or maybe you're just hearing things. 

You don't know what you should do. You don't know why life is playing these games with you. You don't know where this will go but what you know for sure is that you're enchanted to meet Namjoon again. So you give in and take another chance. 

"Sure." You murmur. 

Namjoon pulls out his phone from his pocket, unlocks it and gives it to you. 

As soon as you take his phone in your hands, your world starts to spin, eyes start to blur, hands start to shake because it's you. It's your picture saved as his wallpaper, the one from the art fair, under cherry blossom, wearing the same hoodie Namjoon is wearing right now. 

When you look up at him you find that his dark eyes are full to the brim with tears, which may start falling anytime. He looks as broken as you do.  

"The story line didn't end there, Y/N. It was the very first page. And... And I was enchanted to meet you. I would do anything to meet you again." 

"You- y-you remember me?" your words get choked.

"How could I not? You are deep-rooted in my heart. My brain may have forgotten a period of time but heart kept on trying to make me remember you. And it was successful." Namjoon smiles through tears, so do you.

"I hope you are not in love with someone else, you don't have someone waiting on you." he whispers, stepping close to your body.

"No- I don't." you reply, taking a step towards him.

Namjoon comes closer, cups your face and connects your forehead with his as you two intertwine your lives again standing in the middle of the gallery.

Could you suggest fluffy fics about Gelphie. I read that one fic where everything is so fucked up. I need recovery from it. A little or moderate angst is fine. Better if it's complete.

I love how you say "that one fic where everything is so fucked up", like that does not describe several gelphie fics. :')

but in all honesty anon, i'm kinda a terrible reader and most fics I read/remember/recommend are years old by now.

Of my own fics, I think the Dutch HSAU series, and the one-shots Snowing, Glowing and Teachers AU are amongst the fluffiest fics i've ever written.

(I also made a special projects page on my blog where you can see all my fics categorized and other Wicked related projects in what is (hopefully) a helpful overview!).

And we've had some incredibly talented writers over the years that, while not always necessarily fluffy, are worth checking out like RidiculousMavis, OrkButch (prev. Wagyubeefy), GretchenMaurice, show_me_the_universe and many, many more.

And while there's plenty of angst in this fic, but the weekly updating attrition by haline is quickly becoming one of my favorite gelphie fics.

I know this is very broad, but honestly anon? There's so many gelphie fics out there. Don't forget Wicked is an old fandom. If you do not find what you're looking for at AO3, try ff.net or even livejournal. ;)

Which fic would you say is the fluffiest thing you've written? And which one gave you the most laughs/smiles?

Ooh, I'm not sure!

For the fluffiest, I immediately think of Warm, since it's just a short and sweet snapshot of what a normal morning between Vlad and Danny might look like.

Then there's Our Kingdom, which is another sweet moment of them just being and relaxing and Jack being comfortable with Pitch and falling gently asleep while he reads to him, and then there's My Heart in Your Hands, which is a different kind of vulnerability and sweetness with some added angst for flavor.

But also I think of Solemates and Welcome Home, for my modern blackice AU, and those are also just sweet moments with added bits of spice to kinda show the natural attraction Jacl and Pitch have.

What's in a Smile, Waiting, and E(e)ve(e)ning are also kinda like cute first date/meet-cutes, and I really think it's just a matter of what each individual's tastes are when it comes to these things!

As for which one gave me the most smiles and laughs, I couldn't even begin to answer, because every time I start writing, some new idea for the scene makes me set my phone down and put my face in my hands and give a little screech, amd I say, "No! No, I can't do that! Nooo!" Then I pace the room and start rationalizing and come to the conclusion that, Yes, I'm totally gonna do that.

The new AU concept idea that you guys never knew you needed.

An AU where Black Hat is actually a decent father figure/guardian to Cuphead and Mugman.

I have so many headcanons and theories called “Reasons why Black Hat is the Worst Caretaker”. And it’s basically a list of ideas of why Hat was horrible to Cuphead and Mugman and a big cause for a lot of their trauma and problems. (Aside from the obvious owing their souls to the devil, fighting their childhood friends and the devil, going soulless for 6 months, and then making a new deal to only be ripped away from the their home and forced to kill into the mafia. Among other things. :)

So an AU where Black hat isn’t totally nice or anything, but maybe a bit more emotionally supportive and considerate. Doesn’t illegitimate their feelings and concerns. Training and pushing them not to make them stronger and to reach their full potential, but so that they don’t get hurt while working dangerous missions.

He wouldn’t be a really doting father, in anyway. Stars forbid Hat being that one soccer dad 🤢 Instead he’s just. Less of a jackass?

Congratulating them with their accomplishments (maybe in a tsundere way?). And giving them constructive criticism without being an ass about it. You know, when he’s all like: “Pitiful. Even an imp could kill this mafia family faster than that.” The kind of way that makes you want to slap him across the face? Yeah. That.

He gives them good advice on how to improve their skills and handle problems better.

I dunno. A guy can dream.

Fun fact, aside from Cuphead and Bendy, Hat is one of my favorite Inky Mystery characters! He’s so funny. And he’s such an ass and god Dr. Sprinkles makes me cackle! XDDDD

This is such a cursed AU imaging Hat being a decent person but cuss it I have so many angst filled AUs that for once I want something fluffy. This, College Dorm, and Good Ending are now probably my fluffiest AUs ngl. With Cyberpunk, Little Nightmares, and Villains probably being my angstiest.

pairing: harry styles x female reader (angel)

summary: harry’s only been gone a few hours and it’s proving to take a bigger toll on you than you thought

warnings: slight angst, some tears, harry being the fluffiest and sweetest<3

a/n: my life is literally so frustrating right now; i feel lost, alone and lately trying to throw myself into writing because it feels like the only thing i’m good at: even tho most of the time i h8 my writing lol this was written in my phone and not edited yet<3

The soft fabric of the cashmere duvet was your biggest comfort as you lay in bed, unmoving from the spot you usually shared with Harry. He’d left a few hours ago to continue his tour in Belgium and yes I suppose you could call yourself dramatic, but being as pregnant as you were, the sudden disruption to your routine was throwing you off kilter more than it usually would. Despite your pleas and begging, your doctor and midwives told you travelling for the next week and a bit was not recommended, they’d noticed some concerns at your last scan which had instilled panic between both you and Harry at the time.

It hadn’t been an easy pregnancy once you’d hit 5 months along, and now you were even more on edge and anxious, your brain spinning through every possibility and every scenario that could happen to you or your daughter. In a way having Harry with you and touring with him had grounded you and allowed you time to escape the nagging your brain had been doing to you. Of course Gemma and Anne were set to arrive in a few hours to spend the next week and a bit with you, that would help, but nothing could fill that spot Harry did when he was gone.

Your eyes were tired and bloodshot, nose stuffed from the tears you’d been shedding on and off all morning, baby bee not making life any easier with her sharp kicks and rolling around she was doing. It wasn’t until your phone went off that your eyes moved from the laundry basket in the corner of the room to the screen that lit up; a photo of you and Harry at your still secret maternity shoot your newest background. Swiping to answer the facetime call, your heart clenched seeing Harry’s face, a sad smile on his face when he saw you

“My angel…”

“H-Hi”

He frowned, tears slowly lining your eyes yet again, almost in an annoying way at this point

“I’m sorry this is so hard on you baby, breaks my heart to see you so sad…how are you feeling? She not causing you too much trouble I hope?”

“I just m-miss you…don’t like being a-away from you, even if it’s only b-been a few hours…”

Sniffling you paused to wipe your eyes

“Still not feeling very well, she’s been kicking and moving a lot, i’m too tired to move though…s’like she’s sucking the energy right out of me”

It wasn’t as if you were trying to make Harry feel guilty for needing to work but you knew he’d find out how you were really feeling eventually if you lied to him, so there was no point in beating around the bush

“I wish I could snap m’fingers and make you feel better, I know this is getting harder on you, fucking sucks I can’t still be home with you right now..”

“I know…but you’re working hard and so many people are so excited to see you, guess i’m just used to touring with you that I don’t k-know what to do when I’m not”

He nodded, listening to everything you had to say, little noises of agreements or soft praises escaping every so often, anything to try and see his angel smile, that was the goal of any facetime call the two of you shared

“Mum and Gem are coming over soon right? What are you ladies gonna get up too?”

Shrugging you thought about it

“I think we’re gonna plan the nursery together, look at furniture and paint colours and work on some wedding things which I think will be a good distraction”

“That sounds fun baby, I know whatever you come up with will be amazing, you’ve got a good eye for that stuff”

“Not as good as you”

“I beg to differ”

A small smile pulled at the edge of your lips, Harry’s eyes lighting up at the sight of that

“There’s my favourite smile, love seeing you smile darling, my favourite thing in the world”

“Hard when you’re not here sometimes”

He nodded

“I know but even if i’m a country or a timezone away I’ll always make sure to see that smile, even if I have to dance around ridiculously, making you happen is my goal you know that”

Allowing another smile to appear on your face, this time bigger than the last, was enough to have Harry cheering, loudly at that

“You’re so silly…s’just a smile H”

“Yes, but it’s my favourite smile…besides I was hoping to take you on a tour around Belgium with me…maybe that will keep that pretty smile on that beautiful face of yours”

“It might…”

Harry laughed shaking his head while he brought you with him as he changed, showing you the hotel room and the view from the balcony, your eyes catching the bright colours of the city below him. He kept notice of your mood shifting, your eyes brightening the more he showed you, honestly when Jeff asked why he wanted to wait to rehearse until later, he should have known it would have something to do with you.

“Want to go see the city a bit? I’ll show you some of the cute little tea and coffee shops we spotted earlier?”

“Yes please H…love you so much you know that?”

He nodded, bringing the phone to his lips so he could press a kiss to the camera, albeit very dramatically which earned a laugh from you

“I love you more m’angel, i’d do anything for you, always”

You may not have been able to attend the next few love on tour shows, but that wouldn’t stop Harry from calling tou in every city he visited until you’d be reunited, just so he could show you the sights, the sounds and make you feel like you were with him every step of the way, even if you were stuck in London, counting down the days until you’d be back together. One day at a time, he’d tell you, and you couldn’t wait until that day you were able to rejoin him and experience the world with your own eyes again…

i’m not a fan of writing a very specific reader, especially when it comes to physical traits. That's why i try not to describe them much, even if they’re family to another character. For this reason, i don’t think i’ll accept requests that ask for something with very specific body details.

Tear You Apart - I mean... vampires? a priest succumbing to seduction? which ends in nothing but steaming hate sex? inside a church no less? It may be my most controversial work (yet), but I am very proud of it. Not only did I receive so many lovely comments (and fanart??? that in itself is insane) because of this little one shot, I also met one of my best friends. So, yeah, damn grateful for this work. Even got a tattoo to honour it.

Home of The Heart - That one Wolfstar Raising Harry, "What If" Canon Divergence WIP that has not received any updates in over a year...

Closing Hours - Despite this being my third most popular fic, I get the urge to delete it every time I see it. It was written during a few hours of liquor-induced spite and - to this day - I am, indeed, unhappy with it. Especially, since my characterisation of Evan has changed a good tad since writing this.

The Power Of Love - Probably the fluffiest fic I have ever written and will ever write (I'm a preferred angst writer, I'm sorry). But the resonance has been so overwhelmingly positive, I'm still in disbelief considering I raw dogged the last chapter in the span of 12h without break.

Game On - Streamer AU rosekiller where Barty gets sucked off mid-stream. There is nothing left to add.

do you respond to comments? Yes. I try to respond to every comment in my typical shitty sense of humour or - at the very least - a timid "thank you". Sometimes, it might take me up to a week to respond, but every comment, however short, brightens the day of every fanfic writer, and I think it's a nice way of showing my gratitude.

what's the fic you've written with the angstiest ending? Forget Me Not. It's tagged with MCD. Cannot get much angstier than that. All this build up, all these promises of a better future, only to rip it all away. Well, never said I play nice...

what's the fic you've written with the happiest ending? The Power Of Love. As mentioned before, it is my fluffiest fic. The ending is left fairly open, but I can assure you, once Remus meets up with them in London, this little family of two will become a family of three pretty quickly.

do you write crossovers? Unless OC inserts count as crossovers, no I do not.

have you ever received hate on a fic? I live a very niche-like existence, especially as a writer. I'm happy if I even get a comment at all. And, so far, all of them have been nothing but nice.

do you write smut? *side-eyeing my works of which 95% contain explicit smut* yeah... I do...

have you ever had a fic stolen? Not to my knowledge, no.

have you ever had a fic translated? It had been offered to me once, but it led nowhere. Probably, because I took too long to reply (whoops).

have you ever co-written a fic before? No.

what's a wip that you want to finish but don't think you ever will? Home of The Heart. I promised to re-write and re-upload it, but since TYA Pt. 2 will be my last work for the marauders fandom as of now, I'm not sure if I ever will.

what are your writing strengths? Complexity of interhuman relationships as well as emotionally complex characters. A friend of mine used to say I write emotions, so whenever they need to feel something, they read my works. I think I'm also good at building an atmosphere and describing locations, but it actually takes a lot of effort for me to do (and I always find it sounds a bit chaotic afterwards), so I'm not sure how much of a strength that really is. I've been also told my writing style is very easy to read and flows well.

what are your writing weaknesses? Overexplanation and subtext. I tend to describe too much, given I always fear to not bring my point across well enough. I know readers are not dumb, and it's fun to connect dots on your own, but I still struggle with cutting out the obvious. I also get a lot in my head and overthink character's actions and dialogues to hell and back, which slows me down significantly.

what are your thoughts on writing dialogue in other languages in a fic? I did it in FMN. I think it adds a lot to a character's depth, especially if they're bilingual or from another country. However, I'd never use google translate. For FMN I asked a friend of mine, who is French, if they can translate the passages for me, and I think that is the way to go - to ask people native in that language or, at least, do research on the language. One of the reasons I hc Peter's grandfather as German is so I can use my own native language in one or the other fic.

what's a fandom/ship you haven't written for yet but want to? Not only want to, but I will write bitchkiller into TYA Pt. 2 - that is a promise (or threat?). Aside from that... maybe quillkiller? I don't know. I am much more interested in my own OCs and original series right now.

what's your favourite fic you've written? Forget Me Not!!! I poured so much of my time, endurance, sweat, tears, love and soul into this piece. Ten entire months I have spent seeing the world through Remus' eyes - his fears, his pain, his reservedness, his conflictions, how strongly he loves, how gentle he is, etc. - he has now become an inseperable part of me. It was such a ride to explore the complexity of his being as well as the world surrounding him with all its prejudice and melancholia. I'm actually saddened it got as little engagement as it did, but I've been upset over this long enough. Sometimes, an artist best or favourite work isn't the most popular one, and that is just as well.

What’s a WIP that you want to finish but don’t think you ever will?

Kid Gloves is probably dead now. it's just been too many years since its inception and the things that made me want to write it in the first place. plus, I think my writing has improved a lot since then and I sort of cringe looking at it now lol

I have a fuckton of skz WIPs as well but I maintain that one day I *will* finish them ?? (denial) (delusional)

What are your writing strengths?

i like writing fun or snappy dialogue, i think it comes very easily to me (especially with the kind of semi-antagonistic ships that I really enjoy) and I like to show off with lots of in-depth extended metaphors too

What are your writing weaknesses?

movement.... action.... i'm really struggling to make my scenes not static BWUH

What are your thoughts on writing dialogue in other languages in a fic?

im literally a polyglot and i'm afraid of it for some reason. don't perceive me. what if I actually can't speak the languages that i speak and people on the internet find out??

or so I’ve dreamed, since I met you feels like my magnum opus, my first finished longfic with so much healing for dazai too.... and I had SO much fun writing and completing it;;; i wish everyone saw it through my eyes bc it is my precious baby of a fic..... 🥹
