Fr tho I understand why Swifties are losing their goddamn minds in the theater. I was very passionately singing along to the 8-10 songs I knew lmao. There were only six people in our theater so we were probably the most rambunctious ones tbh. The outfits were all great except that sparkly t shirt dress looking like a 2020s barbie fashionista 🤮 I liked seeing her hair get progressively wavier as the show went on. Even got the souvenir popcorn bucket and cup just for funsies. Honestly I’d rather pay $20 and see a beautifully shot concert on a big movie screen than go through the stress and rigamarole of going to an actual concert lmao I hope more artists start doing this. Aside from that, he probably has a very picky taste in music and simply likes certain songs from certain artists.

There's an art to not being overexposed and Taylor Swift has forgotten it once again. The sensibilities of the public are so fickle but I don't blame them as I myself felt a bone deep exhaustion when I saw the news of her next album on my feed. I'm not even a hater - I do enjoy parts of her music. However in between the concert tour, pap walks, her re-releases, the award campaigns and the very public romance, maybe taking a breather before entering her next era would have helped. She's on top of the world right now and I get the want to keep that going by staying front and center but she keeps forgetting how quickly the public tires of her (and anyone) who's constantly in the news cycle.

Forgotten? Did she ever master that art though? I don't think that's her strategy at all. I can already hear the counter arguments: no one says this about a man in the public eye or it's always her the problem. You know, from folks who went to the TS school of feminism. Took online classes from the one who uses a private plane like some uber. Anyway, I digress. I clearly don't like this person, never have, never will. I have her name muted on twitter and I still can't escape. I genuinely don't care to know about her music or her personal life mostly because she is simply uninteresting as an individual and singer. There is nothing in her work or her personality that would make want to pay attention. And why would I when there's so many cool and fascinating artists out there.

The public might get tired, but her die hard swifties won't and there's enough of them to buy the album and fill up the stadiums. So she rolls another album. I thought that the title was a joke though. I saw tweets covering the Grammys and I thought it was some meme. There was even one that had a photo of the Dead Poets Society. But it's not 🙃 The Tortured Poets Department, lol. Does she think or aspire to be at Joni Mitchell's level or what?

I think this year has proven once and for all that Taylor only cares about stuff that directly hurts her. I have thought that for years but this year there is a ton of proof that is hard for even the most delusional swifties to ignore (though they will die trying). I saw this post and I couldn't agree more and Im asking anonymously cause I don't want to get judgement and stuff and I know this is going to sound a little dumb but I'm having a crisis about like. Whether or not I should support Taylor anymore like. Im going for the eras tour soon and I'm obviously really really excited but I've been seeing more and more anti swiftie media and it all really makes sense. Your blog was like the only anti swiftie one that didn't say all swifties deserve to die lol (at least from what I could find) but I just wanted to know if you have any advice on like letting go of the music in a way. I love her music, and one of the reasons I'm really scared to let go is that my childhood best friend and I share so many precious memories over her music and I don't want to disappoint her in a way by not listening anymore and her music helped me through really really hard times, which feels kind of dumb to say cause I'm 15, but like it's always really helped me and I don't know if I can or if I want to let go but at the same time I'm huge on ethics and a big part of my life has always been helping people and empathizing, and I just don't know if I want to support an artist who can't seem to publicly do that. i get your dilemma, i really do. i like her music a lot and one of the worst things about the anti swiftie community is how much it relies on the "her music sucks" card. its lazy and just personal taste, and i absolutely hate the puritanical idea that if you enjoy a single taylor song you are in some way morally lesser. people like what they like, and i think it's completely fine to enjoy her music because that isn't really an ethical concern

you can separate the art from the artist. its fine to do so. you shouldn't force yourself to stop listening to music you like unless you feel thats right for you. im very critical of taylor but i still occasionally listen to her music because there are a lot of memories attached to it and those memories are precious to me. art can make you feel so much, and you're not dumb for feeling comforted by it.

i dont think you have to let go of her music unless you want to. i believe the most important thing is to let go of the idea of taylor as a brand. people tend to get attached to her due to clever marketing; to a lot of people she's their friend and they feel very protective over her for that. taylor thrives off the parasocial relationship of her fandom which is financially beneficial to her. the most important thing to remember is that she is a billionaire with more money than you could ever imagine and it is impossible to get that rich without fucking over the poor. the image of taylor in the media is not real, she isn't the girl next door, she isn't your friend, she's an ultra rich celebrity who gets richer by pretending to be your buddy. once you've realized that, you're pretty much done

now, i definitely wouldn't recommend financially supporting her. if you're going to the eras tour don't go alone, be safe, wear earplugs(seriously this one is so important you dont want tinnitus believe me). i know there are a lot of different factors and ethics about the shows but as someone who a) hates live music cause im autistic and just end up overstimulated and b) was never in a financial situation where i could or even would buy eras tickets i feel very under qualified to tackle any of that so i'd recommend talking to someone else who knows about that.

Thursday 10/12/2023, playing the Denver Broncos in KC: like a 10% chance, maybe less. premier of Eras Tour movie is the day before, the wide release is the day after, i just don't see it.

Sunday 10/22/2023, playing LA Charges in KC: like a 70% chance, it's at home and it should be a good game, but maybe she's busy getting ready for tour/releasing 1989 TV.

Sunday 10/29/2023, playing Denver Broncos in Denver: idk man like a 15% chance? who tf would wanna go to Denver this close to Halloween and this soon after 1989 TV release when you won't even get to spend any time with Travis because the teams leave away games *immediately* after the game is over.

Sunday 11/05/2023, playing Miami Dolphins in Germany: even though this is the Big International Game (and imo the *real* start to their season), the tour starts again in four days in South America, so...maybe like a 30% chance.

Weekend 11/10/2023 - 11/12/2023 Buenos Aires Eras Tour Concert: Travis *might* be able to go, it is on their bye week, but with the season ramping up and training schedules (also depending on if he's injured or something) I doubt he'd get enough time off to go, so I'll say 25%.

Monday 11/20/2023, playing Philadelphia Eagles in KC: GOD I WOULD LOVE FOR HER TO GO TO THIS GAME but I don't think she will, she'll probably still be recovering/travelling/planning for the next show, so I'll say 15% for the Superbowl rematch of the sister cities.

Sunday 11/26/2023, playing Las Vegas Raiders in Vegas: ....are you serious?? she has a SHOW that night, absolutely **ZERO** 0% chance she will NOT be there.

Sunday 12/03/2023, playing Green Bay Packers in Green Bay: she'll be on break from tour, but Wisconsin in December? miserable. 55% chance.

Sunday 12/10/2023, playing Buffalo Bills in KC: not gonna lie to you Swifties, this is gonna be a ROUGH game even if it is at home, even rougher than the Dolphins. personally i think Taylor should come as moral support, lol, but she might be busy, so I'll say an 85% chance.

Monday 12/18/2023, playing New England Patriots in Foxborough MA: if the Patriots don't get their act together this'll be an easy game (barring injuries and stuff), but it IS in MA and not NY or KC or LA or any of her other bases, soooo i'll say 60% chance.

Monday 12/25/2023, playing Las Vegas Raiders in KC: absolutely not, it's christmas day!! she'll be spending it with her family most likely. lord knows the players would love to! 5% chance.

Sunday 12/31/2023, playing Cincinnati Bengals in KC: this one is a little more likely but (hopefully) Joe Burrow will be all healed up by this time and this will again be a big bad game, the Bengals and the Chiefs have become HUGE rivals with the Mahomes/Burrow rivalry going on. it *is* at home, but it is *also* New Years Eve, which again taylor will probably want to spend with family. i'll say 25% chance.

Sunday 01/07/2024, playing LA Charges in LA: honestly the odds of her coming to this game are pretty good! again, should be a good game, and LA is a good 'away game' spot for her too. i'll say 75% chance.
