I just feel like Katara and Zuko would have the PETTIEST beef regarding Aang. They are friends, and they don’t harbor any actual problems with each other, but the rivalry and butting heads persists. They both think the other is trying to take Aang away from them. Like:

Katara: Zuko what are you doing here?

Zuko: I just came by to see my BEST FRIEND Aang. We’re having boys night tonight.

Katara: Oh, my BOYFRIEND and I are actually going out on a date tonight!

Zuko: That’s strange. I don’t remember him MENTIONING you!

Katara: Hahaha! That’s probably because—

Aang: Hey, I’m glad you guys could make it! Are you both ready to go?

Katara and Zuko: What.

zuko: be myself? toph, i have one day to win everyone over. how long did it take before you guys started liking me?

aang: couple weeks

sokka: six months

katara: jury’s still out on that one

Sokka leading Zuko to his room is hysterical to me, especially because it occurs like 30 minutes after Zuko just watched sokka brutally murder a basically indestructible bender single-handedly with the ease of someone who has been training in physics for approximately 50 years that Zuko himself had failed to take out. I like to think Zuko being silent during the walk was not only him being very nervous in Sokkas presence because he likes him, but also because he’s replaying combustion man’s death in his head 100 times out of sheer terror. That little side smile was a plea to not get murdered.

I kind of find it interesting that some fans think that Zuko owes Azula anything. Even if Azula did in some part care about Zuko between throwing lightning at him or twisting the knife on Zuko's trauma, that doesn't mean Zuko himself owes her forgiveness. Azula mocked, bullied and hurt Zuko on his shortcomings nearly all his life, she goaded him into embarrassing himself in front of the Fire Lord, she mocked him over the possibility of his father killing him or locking him up, she insulted him, she smirked as he was scarred, she manipulated him constantly. Just because Azula had a raw deal in the end too and there were a couple moments here or there where she seemed half-way decent to him doesn't change that, it doesn't erase it.

The comedy in that one tent scene being reversed once Zutara starts dating. Sokka going to Zuko’s room on Ember Island to ask for some advice or something. Doesn’t notice Katara seeing him and briskly walking away in the opposite direction, quickly.

Only to stumble into a room full of lit candles, the room decorated with little flowers found on the beach, and Zuko casting a little fire heart with a line that he spent 4 hours working up the courage to say. “I’ve been waiting for you, Katara—!”

Instantly snuffs out all the candles and the fire heart once he realizes that no, that is not his lovely girlfriend Katara, but is in fact her older brother. Has to go through an entire conversation—with said older brother of his girlfriend—trying to ignore the giant elephant-koi in the room. It’s easier to avoid looking Sokka in the eye right now.

They just silently agree to never speak of this again, ever. Zuko never brought up the tent thing, so yeah. Call it even
