Eyes without a face.👀 I love exploring different art styles and mediums. Surviving being struck by a car at 48mph while crossing the street and working through the healing process has given me such a drive to share different perspectives and to provoke thought. In fact, my brother @eugenetheauthor and I will soon be having salon gatherings with our friends and colleagues in our home. The Wikipedia definition of a salon is: “...a gathering of people under the roof of an inspiring host, held partly to amuse one another and partly to refine the taste and increase the knowledge of the participants through conversation. These gatherings often consciously followed Horace's definition of the aims of poetry, "either to please or to educate" (Latin: aut delectare aut prodesse). Salons in the tradition of the French literary and philosophical movements of the 17th and 18th centuries were carried on until as recently as the 1940s in urban settings.” I’m excited to use my art to continue to try to elevate and inspire.
