The Community vs ESTJ
intuitive bias, stereotypes and bad understanding of Si
Note before starting: Please dont take any of the things im going to be saying from this point onward personal (especially if you have used these arguments before.
Introduction
-Hello there guys this is another rant post I dont do this usually but I have to get this off my chest because it's been irking me allot for a while and its been bugging me more recently. But the general dislike for ESTJs in the community has been something thats always been prevalent and doesnt seem to be stopping any time soon. Obviously a good chunk of it comes from intuitive bias however another big section of it comes from misinformation and stereotypes. So I'll try to address most of these and see if there is some truth to them.
Note: Most of these stereotypes are usually applied to ESTJ not any other Si user outside of them.
one of the first things you'll hear people talk about when referring to Si (Mostly with ESTJs for some reason) is that its a function that tends to make other judgy and closed minded in worst cases ive seen people link straight up bigotry to it and its just wow...So lets brig Carl Jungs definition of Si
“We could say that introverted sensation transmits an image which does not so much reproduce the object as spread over it the patina of age-old subjective experience and the shimmer of events still unborn. The bare sense impression develops in-depth, reaching into the past and future, while extraverted sensation seizes on the momentary existence of things open to the light of day.”
There is no mention of conformity, bigotry and tradition in any of his work on introverted sensing. So No Si isnt traditions in any form. IF anything I would say traditions fit somewhere on Fi due to emotional attachment best example of this would be Blair Waldorf’s obsession spending Holidays together it's all about that emotional attachment. Ive often notice the confltaion of these two functions and often ends up in weird results like people saying that X character must be an Si user do to Trauma...yeah ummm No thats not what Si is at all. People have end up reducing Si into the “memory function” and it has ended up creating a big discrepancy in typing. Characters who don't have an eye for detail or interested in meticulous process get typed as Si users solely based on that they used past obtained information or knowledge...Like do these people not know that EVERY TYPE USES PAST OBTAINED INFORMATION ITS A THING EVERY HUMAN DOES.
And not only its that its based on pure misinformation and just bad understanding of MBTI and just plain human functioning but these people will throw the “you're intuitive bias” to you if you disagree with their typing while saying things like “ Si because they don't want to change” or ‘they are immature/stuck up or shallow” ,“they are too close minded to be an intuitive” and the list goes on. This is why some peoples typing is literally all mean girls in media typed as ESTJ and it's all because of arguments like this. Im sorry but intuitive bias isn't typing X as an intuitive but typing a character because they superior in some way to a sensor based on stereotype; and you are doing just that by using these arguments.
Conclusion
Just stop using the same stereotypes over and over again cuz when people notice a patter on your typology it gets weird and trying to prove you aren't trope typing is gonna be hard. Si is arguably one of the easiest functions to understand to put it simply si that it's a subjective function that takes in sensory aspects and creates a meticulous (detailed) step by step process for problem solving.
Final Note: Next Series is Steven Universe and I might be doing another rant post about the infantilization of ESFP.

An INTP view of life: Part 3
ENFP: what if we press both the accelerator and the break at the same time?
INTP: the car takes a screenshot, you want to see?
ENFP: yes :)
ESTJ: Get the fuck out of my car, both of you.
....................................
INTJ: do you hate it that people are calling us the "sociopathic twins"?
INTP: Not really, it makes us seem even more unapproachable and intimidating. Look at the bright side, everyone will avoid us and leave us alone!!!
INTJ: that's true. I would actually prefer that. Look ENTP and ENTJ are fighting again, want some popcorn?
INTP: *HIGH FIVES*
....................................
ISFP: How do I tell my crush I like them?
INTP: is your crush someone you think is out of your league?
ISFP: yeah....I think so
INTP: don't worry, tell them you like them and if they turn you down I have booked flight tickets for you to move to another country.
ISFP:....should I not be worried?
....................................
ESTP: hey, I heard you are a chemistry student.
INTP: let me guess you are wondering if I have a meth lab in my basement
ESTP: Of course not, I am not accusing you of that!
INTP: *leans in* My prices are fixed, 50% off for a six months subscription.
ESTP: I like your attitude!

What I wish NT types would understand:
''Unexpressed emotions will never die. They are buried alive and will come forth later in uglier ways''- Sigmund Freud.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
you may think the best way to deal with your feelings is suppressing them. Emotions are irrational so they should be denied. Or, there is no point in developing EQ. But the truth is your repressed emotions will never go away. Just because you repressed them for now doesn't mean they have disappeared. In a few years they will reappear in your life. Their intensity will be amplified to a great amount & when they start to surface they will create larger, more complicated problems. One of the worst part is you may be completely unaware of how your repressed emotions are affecting you, manifesting itself as emptiness, a certain illness, relationship issues, self sabotaging, low self worth etc. It's almost impossible to build & continue secure healthy relationships without EQ. Not knowing what you are feeling can be source of extreme frustration eventually. Most other types are quite emotional compared to us, you would need better social competence to communicate with them.
Just some food for thought !

Things I would do as an ENTJ parent
Educate them on "The Art Of War" from an early age. If it's hard for them to get it, I would go as far as publishing a children's version of it.
Teach them proper manners and etiquette.
Gift each of them a plant, they must keep alive to develop a caring mechanism.
As soon as they prove to me they can take care of it, I'll get them a pet of their own choosing. Preferably a dog, if our household doesn't have one already. An animal of whatever kind, teaches responsibility
Read them fairy tales and mimic the voice of the characters for a full-blown experience.
Drink tea/fresh juice with them every morning and ask how they plan to spend their day. Later when they grow up, we'll have coffee.
Family dinners. That's a must.
Always urge them to communicate with me and their father about their feelings. It's important to me that they realize that we're not exactly mind readers and neither are other people.
Make sure they know what sarcasm is from an early age. That ages well, I promise you. And besides with me being their mother, they can't escape it either. Better get used to it.
Teach them to always fight for what they want and achieve it through any means necessary. Killing is off the table (we're not in The Purge, darlings, it's still illegal) Unfair play is off limits too - we honour truth and justice in this house. Otherwise, there are no limits whatsoever.
Talk with them like they are adults. The dog doesn't say "woof woof", it barks.
No matter what anyone says, they'll get their first phones when they turn 6 or 7 (meaning when they enter school). Before that, screen time will be minimized to certain movies and tv shows that I may make a separate list for (comment down below what movies and tv shows you would play for your kids so I can include them; would be nice if you write your MBTI and enneagram as well)
On the subject of phones: if they don't pick up the first time, I can take it. But if they don't pick up after 30 minutes when I call them again, I will come to the school or wherever they are and they will be grounded for life ( That's extreme, I know, maybe not grounded but definitely scolded)
I will make sure they know how to observe their surroundings.
Teach them to take charge when they believe is necessary. They don't have to be leaders but they must know how to be ones in case of need. This ages well, I promise, pt.2.
Make sure that they know that for school projects everyone must do their portion of the work unless their teammates are incompetent and lazy. Then, they would have to push themselves more to make the project succeed. Doesn't have to be perfect or the best one but if my kids are doing it, it probably will be *hair flip*
Teach them to handle money wisely. I didn't develop that habit even though my parents advised me a lot and at 20 I still find it difficult.
Introduce them to basic medicines they sell at pharmacies as soon as they can understand me. I grew up in a family where at 6, I knew what homeopathic medicine to take, depending on my symptoms. My mother and grandmother have medical backgrounds so I always knew what to do and therefore was calm. My children will definitely know that too.
If I have more than one kid as I wish, I will teach them to look after one another and protect each other. They must understand that a brother or a sister is the mightiest weapon anyone could have.
Get their aunt aka my best friend to teach them martial arts or at least basic self-defence.
Make sure they read a lot. Any kind of book, whatever book they are interested in. I'm all up for it. Not liking books isn't an option because in my opinion there is a book for any taste.
Make sure they forge their own style but still dress with taste and elegance.

Productivity
ENTJ: Do you know those moments when you’ve got so much to do that you have no idea where to even start and so you start making a list of things that are too unimportant to waste your time on right now? But at the same time you’re wasting time by not working on the things that actually are important. You’re just making lists of all the tiny aspects of your work that you can throw out just to make yourself feel like you’re doing something.
INFJ: No, I don’t know those moments. I’m less productive, you see. When I’m overwhelmed by all the stuff I have to do, I panic and stare at the wall for three hours.
ENTJ: You’ve been doing that a lot lately, haven’t you?
INFJ: ... yes.

The Glorification of Te (particularly on XNTJ)
Te Isn't about being right all the time and never having any form of subjectivity. Not only that but Te can make wrong calls and be just as reckless as those Se stereotypes. And when it comes to XNTJ is worst. Paired up with Ni people act like its an all knowing function that can knows every outcome of every little thing. Ni isn't clairvoyance. And not only that people in places like typology Tok or PDB start demoting charcaters based on how good they are at using that function rather than how much they use it. Sorry but being a Thinker doesnt make you smart. Id argue that 9/10 ENTJs in media aren't smart. Furthermore majority of those ENTJs use TeSe not TeNi. But usually when they see characters like these they get demoted to ESXP (usually ESTP for men and ESFP for women).
Reblog and comment what is the mbti stereotype you absolutely hate about your type.
I'll go first. ISTJ + "mindless rule-follower drone worker". Which is so not true, I tend to analyse any topic I'm speaking about to be extremely precise. I only follow any rules or instructions if they are logical and correspond with my Fi. If I have to follow a rule, it has to make sense. Although I'm really bad at handling social situations (trickster Fe), I tend to work (in my case, academically) better when I am given somewhat freedom to use my Si and Ne.

Which Blue Lock character should you date based on your MBTI? + some relationship headcannons
~ A/n: this is TOTALLY based on my opinion about the characters' MBTIs. You can desagree with me and give me suggestions on how to do better in the next part! (Assuming there's gonna be a next part lol)
Tumblr media
Isagi Yoichi
◇ I feel like Isagi's an INFJ, since he's overall a selfless and kind person (off the field of course). He's also perceptive and creative to find solutions to his problems in the field and in life, but he may also end up overanalyzing and overthinking things a lot
◇ Based on that, Isagi would be attracted to someone with a great sense of humor and who would show interest in what he has to say about something, be it football or any other topic
◇ He would also enjoy being with someone lively and ambivert/extroverted, who would encourage him to be the best version of himself and would brighten up his days
◇ So, I think ENFJ and ENFP would work PERFECTLY with Isagi, since they tend to be more extroverted and care A LOT about their partners, and show it openly (something tells me Isagi would love to be babied by his partner)
◇ He would be one of the greatest Blue Lock boyfriends imo, a real sweetheart. He would 100% take you to the best dates ever and would probably ask his mother for advice about how to act around you☝️
◇ He would die for a supportive girlfriend who would cheer loudly for him during his games, he'd feel so appreciated!
◇ 10/10 boyfriend.
Karasu Tabito
◇ Karasu's 100% a ESTJ. Don't argue w/ me, you know I'm right.
◇ He's loyal, rational, objective, practical and responsible. He's also reliable and extroverted.
◇ Even with all these qualities, Karasu can act a little hasty and not be respectful when hearing opinions contrary to his own beliefs.
◇ In a relationship, he looks for someone who is supportive and respectful, patient and understanding
◇ He's a great boyfriend and brings out the best in his partner, helping them achieve their dreams and goals
◇ So, Karasu would have a great relationship with someone who would offer a balance to his somewhat "commanding" nature through a more sensitive and adaptable personality, such as an ISFP, or someone who would also be as methodical and rational as him, like an ISTJ
◇ He would LOVE if his partner watched his football games and, in return, he would watch theirs too, no matter what sport they played
◇ If you're an artist, he loves complimenting your art pieces and says you're like a modern-time Picasso (even though some of them may look like they were drawn by a 5 year old with crayons)
◇ Overall, the best boyfriend ever (literally the loml)
Rin Itoshi
◇ Rin's a very reserved introvert, for sure, but he's also very ambitious, determined and self-confident
◇ With that said, he would be an INTJ
◇ Imo, he would need someone to balance his "cold" personality with a cheerful and outgoing personality, like ESFPs or ENFPs, or a more reserved partner that's still a little ambiverted, like an ISFP
◇ To date an INTJ, you must understand that there are times when they just want their personal space and tranquility, which also applies to Rin
◇ He would try not to be so hard on you, but sometimes the feelings would "escape" (old habits die hard Ig) and he might come out as a little harsh. Don't yell at him, he would definitely regret it quickly! His ego is just too big to admit it sometimes....
◇ Not a bad boyfriend, just needs someone patient with him!!
◇ I think his love language would be acts of service, since he's a little shy about expressing his feeling with words
◇ So, your relationship with him would be based on "little things". Like grabing something you can reach from the top of a shelf or tying your shoelaces for you
◇ Overall a very good boyfriend!!!
Tumblr media
Pls someone tell me the easiest and quickest way to become an ISFP or ISTP 🙏😭

Your MBTI, Your Relationship With JJK Characters Final Part 8
ENTJ / ESTJ
you can find all parts here
a/n: Omg can't believe this is the last part of MBTI series, I'm glad that you enjoyed it and thank y'all for your requests 🫶🏻❤️. Thank you @deluluforcarlos55 for requesting ENTJ, also thank you @suchasecretiveninja for reading and being interested in all parts.
Tumblr media
ENTJ
Ryomen Sukuna = Desires you
Your smart, ambitious and creative nature is a big turn on for Sukuna. He wants to use your qualities and strengths for his own advantage that's why he strongly desires to have and own you. ENTJs have a gift in achieving their goals easily without too much effort or stress. They are strong-willed with strategic thinking that makes them always a step ahead from others, that's exactly what's Sukuna needs. He likes challenges, so when his desire to control you is faced with your strong resistance, he would definitely turn it into a playful game of tag. He enjoys the thrill of hunting you down on his journey of making you his. ENTJs are known for their high sense of autonomy, so the more you resist Sukuna, the more he would get obsessed with you.
Geto Suguru = Husband.
A powerful couple respected and feared by everyone. Both driven by your desire for achievements and success. Despite being married you're still each other's best partners in business, working together to reach mutual goals. You heavily rely on each other in mostly everything. You're assertiveness compliment Suguru's smart planning. ENTJs has a high standard in men and Geto definitely met your expectations. You rarely have arguments in your relationship since both of you are good at problem solving without inserting too much feelings. Even though you too find it hard or rather afraid to open up you still try to be more open and show your weaknesses since you have protective sense towards each other. When you get extremely comfortable and in a goofy mood, you would act really extra but in a classy way.
Yuuji Itadori= A good friend
A source of motivation that's what you are to Yuuji. There's something in ENTJ that observes people, sees the potential in them and literally push them forward to master those skills. It's a big ick for them to see a wasted potential. ENTJs are fast learners with high intellect so they have no patience for slow and inefficient people, luckily Yuuji is a good match. His will to learn and better himself and his skills brought you together. You respect that kind of people; those workaholic who don't give up easily. Your different personality aspects moderate your relationship; he teaches you how to be more empathetic, grounded and you teach him how to be logical, prudent and sharp.
ESTJ
Toji Fushiguro= Boyfriend
A harmonious blend of extraversion and introversion but with mutual values. ESTJ enjoys being the center of attention, too focused on social status; something that Toji finds extremely attractive. You contribute to an organized relationship since ESTJs tend to be excellent organizers.Toji's rationality allows him to suit your personality, both of you are highly thinking individuals with judgmental sides. Two peas in a pot that's what you are. Both of you know exactly what you want from the relationship, also are brutally honest, luckily your self-confidence protects you from being offended. Toji is into the bratty type, so ESTJ would definitely be his type with your bossy and stubborn demeanor.
Megumi Fushiguro = Friend
You rely on each other, Megumi literally would trust you with his life. ESTJs are gifted with a natural sense of leadership that makes everyone around count on them. You bring structure and order to the group, that's something similar in Megumi's persona. Both of you have a difficulty to vocalize your emotions and feelings but your actions speak volumes making your friendship even stronger. Your friendship is balanced; Megumi is an introverted person with a calm demeanor so handling some complicated social situations might be hard for him so having an ESTJ friend would make it way easier for him. With your outgoing nature, you'd would take charge of those social energy draining settings. Overall you have a trustworthy, stable bond
Mahito = Enemy
ESTJs thrive in organize and structured environment, guided by strict rules, so having someone who tends to violate this harmony and chooses to be rebellious and inclines from following certain guidelines is considered a threat for the well established order that you set. To ESTJ, Mahito is a troublemaker, an individual that would only cause chaos and anarchy. Mahito's personality clashes with ESTJ authoritarian and controlling nature; creating and enmity and tension between you. Mahito's weapon is to try to spoil your plans and to-do list ,this would be faced with a negative and brutal reaction from you.

[HP] Hermione Granger ESTJ 1w2 so/sp
Tumblr media
Zodiac: Virgo (September 19,1979)
MBTI
ESTJ (Te-Si-Ne-Fi)
Dominant and Auxiliary Functions (Te-Si)
Te (Extroverted Thinking)
While ISTJ is also a common typing for her Hermione I believe her Te is her dominant function and what always comes first to her in mind when problem solving. Hermione Si is strong and arguably her most notable function however when it comes to problem solving Hermione’s first question is logical and factually correct the it is (at least in her mind). Not what methodical process she will take. We can see how she is able to spot efficient and “Objective logic”. However I want to also bring forward the argument that she might be an INTP and I don't think there Is a character  who is more anti Ti than Hermione herself. In the books we see how easily she is frustrated when things aren't laid in an efficient manner losing her temper.
Si (Introverted Sensing)
As I said earlier Si is Hermiones most notable function. She finds comfort in meticulous processes and likes extreme precision. She prefers to stick to the rules and not rush herself into bad situations. We can see how her Si is constantly at odds with Harry and Ron’s Se. She finds herself criticizing their lack of carefulness and how they prefer a in the moment learning style compared to her more careful and meticulous ways.
Tumblr media
Tertiary and Inferior Functions (Ne-Fi)
Ne (Extroverted Intuition)
Hermione’s Ne is something that gets ignored quite allot sadly. Im not gonna lie her Ne isn't as strong as other ESTJ’s Like Sokka or Mary Saotome but it isn't non existent either. Hermione starts at 11 and I believe allot of people ignore how much growing there is between 11-18. Anyways Hermione starts the series with very little interest in Ne as a functions she seems very uninterested in multiple perspectives and different ideas that she can't find Te-Si in however in the devil snare trap we can see how Hermione goes to stress to Ne. She starts panicking and thinking of multiple possibilities and solutions to her problems. And this becomes quite a recurring thing in the saga. When Luna love good gets introduced we can see how Lunas Ne conflicts allot with Hermiones due to her aux Si she seems to synthesizes those Ne possibilities through her Si. We can also see how she becomes more open to finding multiple routes of understanding when she debates with Ron.
Fi (Introverted Feeling)
Hermione has probably one the best Fi’s for a Te dom in all of media. There isn't allot of healthy te doms in media who have a very good understanding of how their emotions work while prioritizing efficiency. And Hermione is one of those who break the mold. She has a very good understanding of her emotions and values and always find a way to understand others emotional state.
Tumblr media
Enneagram: 1w2 so/sp
I don't think there is any debate about Hermiones enneagram. it's very sealer she is a self preservation 1w2. She likes structure and order; she likes to stick to rules and enjoyment in being moral. And as for why w2 over w9 its because hermiones need to help in social environments. In the movies Hermione can sometimes look like sp type 3 since her need for rules and morality isn't as explored as in the books.

Dinner table conversation in my family:
Mom (ISFJ): I tried really hard to make all of your favourite dishes!
Grandma (ESFJ): That is so sweet dear!
Dad (ESTJ): You know I told you I want to try and eat healthy boiled vegetables and you STILL made my favourite food?
Me (INTP): *I did not want to sit with them and make them see my wierd eating habits* I don't like any of these food.
Mom (ISFJ): Too bad you have to eat it....NOW
Grandma (ESFJ): Let's pray to god before eating and thank them for the food.
Me (INTP): Why do we have to pray to god when they don't exist and did nothing for us?
Mom (ISFJ): just do what you are told
Me, turns to dad (INTP): didn't you tell me to have my own opinions and ideas about the world?
Dad (ESTJ): I am not saying you are wrong but.....if you want to have food you have to go by the rules. Just pray.
Me (INTP): I am not praying to anyone. I don't care if you take my food away! I am NOT changing my beliefs!
Grandma, upset (ESFJ): why are you like this, where did we do wrong?
Mom (ISFJ): Just be thankful then, okay? I don't have patience for a debate.
Everyone: thank you god for the food we received and for everything you did for us.
Me (INTP): Thank you mom for making the food, thank you grandma for helping in preparing it and thank you dad for buying the groceries.
Me (INTP): you told me to be more thankful, I was. There's always loop holes.
Dad (ESTJ): *hides smirk*

Some things I found out after I got into MBTI (ENTJ observations) pt. 3
INTP are literal study monsters if the outcome is worth it. With that being said though, they still get good grades even without studying.
ENTP/ENFP love a good scandal. The first have a thing for controversy, the latters see it as a emotional outlet.
INTJ tend to seem open to conversation when in social situations or working but when it comes to people who are really close to them, they hold back and isolate, a lot. Same could be applied to ISTP.
Sometimes ISTJ are even more productive than ESTJ.
ENTJ have their productive and non-productive days and while it sometimes cause us stress, we always manage to catch up with unfinished business in the following days.
The love ISTJ and ESTJ have for charts, sheets, organising and planning is indomitable.
INFP are too good at empathy, that it makes me sick. These people could feel happy over their second cousin's child passing exam and it would be like a fiesta lasting for two days. Some days I almost wish I could do the same, but then I remember I'm me and as long as the kid is healthy and thriving I would be fine without making anything of it. (not trying to offend INFPs in any way, just mad respect for managing to hold onto an emotion for that long)
ISFP would finish the job and then forget to tell you they finished the job. Happened twice with a friend of mine in the past month.
ENFJs tend to save the situation by making a random comment and then somehow turning it into a full-blown discussion without even trying.
ENTJ get the "slip of the tongue" around 10-15 times when talking to a crush... Or presenting something of a high importance.
I'm astonished as to how easy ESFJ accept mistakes or rather seem to do it. Never seen a more unbothered person. Failure is more like a misstep to them. Also mad respect.
ESTJ stress out the whole room until the job is done. If they are stressed, then the whole room must be stressed.
When under pressure, INTJ shout. It's something along the lines of: "I CAN'T THINK WHEN ALL OF YOU ARE THINKING NEXT TO ME, GET OUT!"
This, I'm not sure if it applies to all ENTJ but: I was told that when I think about solving something like a problem or a creating a design (I study interior design), I tend to look straight ahead and move my eyes as if there are multiple boards in front of me. They told me my eyes darted up and down and from right to left the entire time, as if I was searching for something. Entering the mind palace is apparently how I operate.
Following that train of thought, I tend to "jerk awake" from that thinking process by suddenly getting up from my seat and saying "Alright, got it. We should do-"
