modern tobiizu au where izuna and tobirama are rival e-sport players. they take the competition the most seriously out of the entire league. they are a pr nightmare and definition of toxic competition because they constantly go on twitter and shit on the other. they deliberately fuel fanwars. people call them the physical embodiment of league of legends despite the fact they don't even play league of legends (leaving what game they play ambiguous).
tobirama invents new ways of playing the game and abuses bugs in competions until abusing bugs gets banned because it reached a point where he was discovering exploits faster than the devs could patch them. izuna shits on tobirama for a full twitch stream saying how tobirama needed those bugs to even match him, and he says he hates how he ended up adding a new rule to the league because of how he played. izuna doesn't even play the same as tobirama, its just the principle of the fact he got a whole new rule made.
izuna is really intuitive, he's fast at figuring out new strats and mechanics and enjoys mimicing other ppl's playstyles as a form of psychological warfare. his reaction speed is very fast; "oh, you're ambushing me? lol get rektd." he goes through mouses like his monster energy cans because he just keeps breaking them (they can't handle the stress of his intense playstyle). if he had a mouse that was actually well made, he probably would not have this problem. however, those mouses just don't feel the same as the super specific, dirt cheap $15 mouse he got down at konoha-mart (or so he insists). he has a closet filled with boxes of this mouse for when he inevitably breaks it again.
one of tobiizu's pr nightmares happened like this:
at one point izuna figured out rpf fanfiction existed so he encouraged his fans to write really bad fanfiction of tobirama. why? he wanted to send it to tobirama so he could witness tobirama snap/explode/have a conniption. psychological warfare. this wasn't too bad, actually.
until tobirama publicly tweeted a link to a 100k word slowburn fanfiction he wrote detailing a forbidden love affair between uchiha izuna, professional esport player, and uchiha madara, the retired esport player who is his team's manager and his BROTHER. izuna livestreamed himself screaming for 30 minutes straight. he cried off camera. pr for both teams scrambled as they had to clarify, no this work is not real (because some people are dumb). madara has to announce his engagement for ppl to stop thinking he and his brother r like that. he's not engaged, but the internet scrambling to figure out who his (nonexistent) fiance is makes tobirama's fanfiction fall out of focus so it works out. originally the pr team wanted izuna to come out as straight but he flat out refused because "if everyone thinks i'm straight i'm doomed to not ever have a boyfriend" (he is bi and very dramatic.) he also gets back at tobirama for this eventually with the Hacked Reddit Incident (in which he hacked tobirama's reddit acct and posted various (nonexistent) issues on various subreddits, including AITA. everyone figured out very quickly it wasn't tobirama but that didn't matter to tobi because not only was his pride wounded, those posts will forever be associated with him [because things can still circulate around the internet even after the original post is deleted])
so yeah. i think you can imagine how the fandom space is if tobiizu r pulling stunts like that off extremely frequently. (chaos. its pure chaos.) somebody is probably crying in a corner, somewhere.
at one point somebody likens tobiizu's dynamic to a boy pulling on his crush's pigtails at a playground, except for them it goes both ways and is far more extreme. this spirals into the fandoms splitting into four factions: "omg they're so in love they're adorable like little kittens", "are y'all fucking CRAZY", "im just chilling here can we pls go back to normal", and unaware. tobiizu find out very quickly, and for once don't know what to do. the pr teams are just glad its nothing negative, for once.
(tobiizu are screaming in e/o's dms like this is YOUR fault. no its YOUR fault. they dont realize it but they're acting exactly like how the person who sparked it all said.)
(they'll get there. eventually.)
(somewhere, somebody is wondering "how can two people so smart be so DUMB.")
(finished this post after over a month bcause my pookie @oh-no-its-bird asked me to here u go bestie it's finally here <3)

I designed a bedroom for Irene!
On the bed is her outfit from the mall! The idea being that she got home and changed into something else and just threw her outfit on the bed. On the table is her dinner some noodles (likely dandan mian) and on the shelf above her bed would be a trophy from the HLC International School's Mario Kart tournament, there's also a Power Miners crystal
Her desk! On the final build I'll use the gaming keyboard & mouse from the CMF Esports Gamer but for now it's just blank tiles and the "I ā„ HLC" postcard would be replaced with the Ley-La VIP ticket and the pirate flag I plan on replacing with a custom printed pride flag. On the shelf above her desk is a replica blaster, a geode and some drink cans (which are Power Miners coloured)
Her dresser is a side build, it has some make-up for her and a mirror. There's also a letter, I wonder who it's for?
The build has around 250 pieces, so more than other Friends bedroom sets but the official sets tend to use larger pieces for the wall

This is my review of the X3 from Attack Shark. I came across this mouse shopping on Amazon by searching "3395 Gaming Mouse". I took a chance and I paid it for $39.17 and received it the same day.
Specs
Sensor: PAW3395
Size: 118.5*61*39.7 mm
Weight: 49Ā±3grams (my copy weighted in at 54g on my scale)
Polling Rate: 125Hz-1000Hz.
Main Click Switches: Kailh Black Mamba Micro-Motion Switches, 80 Million Click
Scroll Wheel: TTC ENCODER
Connectivity: 2.4Ghz Wireless/Bluetooth/USB-C Wired
Battery Life According to the item description: Up to 200Hrs
Build Quality: My first impression of the X3 was, for a peripheral that cost less than a sushi dinner for one, this thing is built fairly well. If I squeeze the heck out of it, there is no creaking or popping. When I shake it, there is a very slight rattle of the scroll wheel, but nothing that you would feel in game (there is no rattle at all on my lavender copy). The bottom of the mouse doesn't flex when I push on it. The clicks feel nice and snappy. They are a little heavier than I would like, but that is my personal preference. There really isn't much pre/post travel on M1 or M2. I enjoy the scroll wheel quite a bit, it has some really nice defined steps and isn't too loud or scratchy. Mouse 3 and 4 feel nice with some post travel. The weight balance seems to be okay, If anything I would say it is potentially a bit back heavy. That may be due to battery placement inside the shell.
Performance: I had no issues with sensor tracking and did not experience any spin out. The polling rate seemed to be stable, and I did not feel any stutter or jitteriness. My main shooters are CS2 and Overwatch 2. I felt I performed well, and the shape really grew on me. The shape seems to pretty much be the Ajazz Aj199 and doing a little searching around Amazon, Attack Shark might even be a sub-brand of Ajazz(?) I don't know that exactly, I could be wrong. I also used the mouse to play Dota 2 and the X3 will now be my main mouse for that particular game moving forward. I use a relaxed claw style grip and have baby hands (17cm x 10cm). I never dealt with cramping or discomfort. Battery life is pretty dang good! It holds are charge for about 10-12 days with about 5-6 hours of use a day. Overall, I had no real issues with the mouse in game. The software is pretty basic, but important to download so you can update the firmware. This will allow you to change the debounce timing.
Overall Thoughts: My overall thoughts about the X3 are that it is a pretty decent little mouse if you are low on funds. Is it anything that shakes up the market or adds something we haven't already seen? Not at all. Is it worth $40? I would say it 100% is. It will be in my rotation moving forward, and I am hoping its durability stands up with the test of time.
Edit: I now have two copies of this mouse and the first one (in white) is still going strong. My Lavender one feels even better build wise. Huge Fan of the Attack Shark X3

i have been trying to find this video for MONTHS. iām almost certain it was a repost from tiktok. it was a split screen with the āmainā video playing on one side, and a guy reacting to it on the other.
the āmainā video was a bunch of guys in someoneās yard pretending they were playing a game with completely ridiculous, arbitrary rules. theyād each pull out a random item, do something to one or both items, each side would react as though they won or lost the round, and theyād rotate out. some rounds included a minnie mouse shaped rotary phone, opening a cd case and signing the paper inside, and whacking everything off the table with a pool noodle.
the guy reacting was narrating the whole thing like an esports commentator (āoh, i havenāt seen this opening before, thatās weirdā āoh, heās going for x strat, niceā etc.)
iām pretty sure i reblogged it a while ago, but i donāt remember if it was tagged with anything. iāve looked through my blogās archive and even old discord messages to see if ive sent it to friends. if you manage to find this extremely weird video then god bless
a client walked into my office lookin' for a video of a tiktok showin' off a classic sport. now, i'm no expert on trackin' down videos. without keywords to search, this would be hard. that is, if i wasn't given the perfect lead. see, my client happened to casually mention that they reblogged it a while back. and while most detectives would get a warrant first, i took the liberty of snoopin' around the archive while my client wasn't lookin'. by filterin' for videos, i managed to track it down with ease.
thanks for givin' me that lead! thanks to your archive, it was easy to find! i gave it a watch too, i haven't seen a game that intense since the 1947 Backyard Item World Championship. some really good plays for sure. either way, enjoy relivin' this intense game! have a great day!
Post Case: Closed

TALONGAMES ES Esports Professional Level Gaming Mouse Pad 4mm Thickness Anti-Slip Base Anti-Fray Precision Stitching Medium to high Glide Speed 13in x 10.23in (Black, L Size)
šMeasuring 260 mm x 330 mm, it takes up little desktop space and is suitable for most games. This mousepad is ideal for players who play in compact spaces.
š§ØThe high thread density surface provides a light and fast glide, yet easy to stop, with the same vertical and horizontal glide, offering players a stable, smooth, and comfortable gliding experience. Quickly aim and shoot at enemies, especially suitable for FPS and MOBA players. It is also a very good choice for designers painting, teleworkers, telecommuters, and work offices.
šThe backing is made of 4 mm thick natural rubber, providing maximum stability with just the right amount of softness without being too hard or sinking in. Players do not need to worry about the mouse pad shifting during use and affecting their operation. It delivers eSports-spec performance with stability.
šEdge processing is slightly lower than the surface of the mouse pad so that edges are small and low. Even when used for long hours, it does not cause any tugging or strain on the arm. Comfortable gaming and excellent durability.

Let's entertain the idea that your OCs like to play video games (even the ones that might physically struggle with it), which games do you think are everyone's favorites?
If it absolutely wouldn't be up someone's alley, which game do you think they'd at least give a try, and why?
viddygaem.....
Agnes: graphic action games, the first God of Wars come to mind. strangely enough, i also see her enjoying more ambiguous story games like Shadow of the Colossus or Dark Souls. actually, she'd love the soulsborne genre a lot, and would spend a decent amount of time grinding and getting genuinely good at them. feels proud of her hardcore gamer skills, but isn't elitist/gatekeepy about it and would give people advice on what builds would best fit them and their playstyle if she ever found the right forums to do so
Ryan: king of RTS 4X resource management games for sure. always knows what's going on, where's it going on and how's it going on. and of course, it always goes well for him
Lisabel: graphic and psychological horror games. Mortuary Assistant kinda thing. never gets visibly jumpscared, always has some observations about the technicalities of the IRL medical procedures. body horror is also up her alley, Resident Evil and Silent Hill. and of course, The Sims, either no cheat speedruns minmaxxing everything or discovering new ways to torture sims you could've never thought of. with mods, anything is possible :)
Eric: Stardew Valley, Animal Crossing and similar cozy games. something he can sit down and chill with for a while. undisputed fishing minigame master
LĆ©an: FOSSIL FIGHTERS DS!!!!! wacky creature collectors 4everrr!!!!! SPORE!!!!!! HATES the Jurassic World games for the dinosaur inaccuracies
Rask'r: i think he'd go NUTS for VR games! perfect for practising his IRL combat moves. Blade and Sorcery stuff. i think he'd also enjoy stuff like Boneworks. not sure if he'd get dizzy tho. or how he'd fit the headset on his head. oops
Raz: hmmm, not sure. i don't think he'd be a videogame fan, but i see him enjoying Tetris at least. simple to learn, easy to play, a good choice to simply have a short good time. he wouldn't be a pro at it, but he'd moderately enjoy it
Donovan: the Wii fascinates him, and it's good physical pseudo-exercise. oh! and card games. honestly, i see him doing fairly well with MtG Arena and Hearthstone
Lee: you give him a tablet with one of those bug/mouse apps for cats and he slams his hand on it at full force the second something moves onscreen. congratulations, you need a new tablet now
Vreytus: chess. actually, i can see him playing 5D Chess with Multiverse Timetravel. and winning
Bug: oooh this one's hard. hmmm, it's difficult to find something stimulating and entertaining enough for them. maybe something fast-paced, reaction-based... i can't think of any games that fit those descriptions and aren't online competitive FPS games tho. EDIT: HOW DID I FORGET CAR RACING GAMES
Chad: even with his disabled arm, he'd find a viable way to play competitive FPS games. CoD, Counter Strike, PUBG (that one still a thing?), Valorant. knows all the gun names and optimized builds and keeps himself update on his game of choice's meta. he'd even make for a decent esports player! also stuff like L4D2 and Vermintide? idk what that genre is called, but biiig power trip from getting a busted build and mowing down hordes of enemies. hates fortniters and calls them normies alt. Forza Horizon CoD FIFA player. still calls fortniters normies but now it's even funnier
Lewis: cozy game lover, but also VNs including dating sims and puzzle games. i can also see him as a big enjoyer of story-driven games and classic J/RPGs. OH, and Spore of course!!! :DDD
thanks for the ask!! very curious topic for sure š¤
