I just found out puppychan is on tumblr now under a different username and ngl, the whole situation with them just feels so....conflicting

On one hand a lot of the shit they did is straight up awful and stuff that should not be excused (endangering minors / innappropriate interactions with them, that racefaking incident they had for a bit 💀, the constant suicide baiting, among many other things)

But on another I just feel...man. i can't help but feel bad for him. I followed him when Antoonz was directing his bigoted ass audience towards him when he was still a minor, and all the ableist, racist, transphobic and straight up violent shit that was thrown Puppychan's way was genuinely awful - ESPECIALLY at such a young age. (I still remember the lynching art someone made on the day of his 18th birthday...ugh.) Not to mention it feels like the internet was kinda the only coping mechanism he had, and a really unhealthy one at that. It's very clear the internet just fucked him up a lot from being exposed to so much shit at a young age.

Don't get me wrong - I'm still incredibly disgusted by the things he's done and I do think people should definitely be warned about his antics. But part of me feels just...sad - sad that this clearly unwell person needs help and has been through so much shit, and they've dug themself into a hole, and because people are constantly on their tail they dig even deeper into said hole. It's like the Chris-chan thing all over again.

I will never condone any of the harmful shit that he did, but I do still hope he someday leaves the internet, finds a proper support system and works on himself. (And learn to stop blaming his harmful actions on his mental health issues). Cuz the internet is the last place he should be right now.

omg yes i'm so excited for scuderia lewis!! finally i can say forza ferrari and actually mean both drivers because i am carlos sainz's no. 1 hater. the only thing i'm worried about it inter-team relations because it's going to be 7 time wdc vs charles who is quite literally insane especially on a good weekend. like no. 2 driver where?? i just hope that they don't do the stupid indecisive mclaren thing and decide last minute who is who if they are fighting each other consistently which they most likely will be. not only will that not go down well but the 1644 in my bio will be shaking

now onto slating mclaren and lando because that fuck ass team and him make me mad as hell

1. the non existent wdc title battle. when the red bull fell off and lando closed the gap a LITTLE BIT due to max having subpar weekends and checo contributing to nothing but the team damages bill, suddenly a 'title battle' got declared where mclaren couldn't make up their minds if they were in it or not. which led to allowing the drivers to fight where lando would bottle as expectedff cd and oscar if he was a position or two behind him would likely overtake him and then he start whinging and crying on the radio. like the team said to race and it's like he didn't even attempt to participate in racing for position which is why we had 'incidents' like monza (not an incident oscar pulled such a good move) where after it was really the team's fault yet all the hate got thrown at oscar for the two weeks following because he overtook poor baby lando. if they made it clear that oscar was meant to play second fiddle, they should've said so from the beginning of the fight, NOT being half way cooked in all decisions made concerning driver dynamics on track.

2. oscar's wins. the sprint win was oscar's. even if it's lando's name on the plaque, it was oscar's as his drive that race was great and he should've got it. only deciding now that they want to let him attempt a chance at the wdc which he definitely will not win at all atp means that they have to do bs like that which really could've been managed earlier in the season so if lando bottles and oscar has a chance to win, oscar can be able to take that win or at least assist lando (which rlly he shouldn't have to do) if necessary to get more points. AND HUNGARY?? omg that race made me so angry, because mclaren are stupid enough to do the pitstops wrong, they undercut their own driver and then lando had the nerve to not give the place back? why did the team have to beg him to give a place back that wasn't his? it was so enraging to watch. and now oscar's first win is tainted by a mclaren strategy fuck up.

3. lando actually participating in his own title challenge. it would've been a start (no pun intended lol) for him to not have such bad starts and yes, there was something wrong with the car for both drivers that made starts worse, but for the most part it looked like oscar could manage it why can't a driver with 6 yrs of experience do the same? as well he has had the fastest car for 3/4 if not more of the season, so why has it only converted into 3 wins, where only one (zandvoort) was an expected pole to win drive with the fastest car as 1 was by safety car luck (miami) and the other nearly wasn't a win but instead a possible dnf as he was folding under the pressure of literally nothing (singapore)? like ofc you're not going to become a wdc like that? max didn't win a wdc by winning 3 times in a season w the fastest car, neither did lewis, neither did alonso or literally anyone apart from ppl like fangio when the season was about 7 races long like bffr 💀

i can't wait for oscar's title challenge whether it's at mclaren or elsewhere. like the unrealistic but desperate for it to be real dream would be that a top team signs him as no. 1 driver, he has a capable teammate and he wins a wdc. or mclaren start prioritising him while they are on the trajectory they are on and he wins the wdc. but a girl can only dream 😔

on inter-team relations: first off saying forza ferrari and actually meaning it for both drivers is so real and that’s how i felt when ollie raced in jeddah fhdjdj. i fully blame carlos for the failed title charge in 2022. plus all the shade his family has thrown at leclerc? yeah i have never been a fan of his. but anyway. i wrote a whole blog post on the lewis to ferrari news when it happened and the whole “who’s gonna be the number one driver” thing was already at the forefront of my mind because i truly do not know. i think (i hope) that there will probably be some kind of discussion in which the team decides “okay by race X we’ll look at the standings and whoever is in a better position for championship contention will be prioritized from that race on” but that truly depends on how they perform head to head in equal machinery. i’m more than excited to see it but at the same time, if it comes down to them needing to prioritize a driver i’m going to be hoping and praying that it’s charles. and even though lewis is an incredible legendary driver with seven titles to his name, i almost expect them to prioritize charles anyway? they clearly want him to be their champion. also, in true leclerc fan fashion, i think it’s destined to be charles because that will be the 16th drivers title ferrari wins. 🥰

on mclaren strat/oscar’s wins: let me just say this- i understand what happened with the safety car during that sprint, but that doesn’t mean i’m not mad about it. it all worked out a little too well for mclaren to enforce PaPaYa RuLeS and give the win to lando instead and that had me pissed. oscar had better pace and was on his way to a well deserved win but nope!!!! and the thing that makes this whole thing worse is that andrea stella is now ON RECORD saying that the WDC was never their goal. like ever at all this entire season. it was always the WCC. so oscar having to sacrifice wins and give up positions and play second fiddle to lando’s embarrassment of a title charge was all for nothing because evidently according to TP stella there never was a title charge in the first place. i literally lose brain cells every time i think about mclaren now because they honestly fucked over both of their drivers this season.

on lando: i lost just about all my respect for him as a driver this season. his behavior post-miami has been just embarrassing and mind you i cried happy tears when he won that race. OH HOW THE TABLES HAVE TURNED. i think it’s clear that lando can’t handle any type of pressure at all apparently so if they’re going to put a driver in championship contention their best bet lies with oscar. but that’s just me!!!! zak is too far up lando’s ass to allow that unfortunately 🙃 and you’re absolutely correct. sooo many 4 fans like to say “but it’s because he’s not used to having the fastest car on the grid!!!” which, okay, it requires adjustment, but consider what the world champions on the grid have done without the fastest car on the grid. look at what max is doing this season. he’s going to win his fourth WDC with the like third fastest car on the grid. adaptability is one of the most important parts of being one of the 20 best drivers in the world. if lando ever wants to win a championship and deserve it, he needs to adapt and get over himself. this shit won’t just get handed over on a silver platter.

on oscar’s future title charge: this might be an unpopular opinion but i hope to GOD it doesn’t happen with mclaren. because who knows if they’re going to do what they did this season (screw oscar over constantly only to turn around and say the WDC was never the goal so essentially screw lando over too by completely giving up on him). i honestly was hoping there was a kernel of truth to the rumor that mark webber was trying to catch red bull’s ear about signing oscar at some point because i think setting him up to be max’s successor when he (max) retires would be a legendary move. i think oscar would excel greatly with a different team. but for now all i can do is hope that he doesn’t get screwed over by his own team as badly as he did this season. 2025, please be good to my 164481 😭😭😭

HE REALLY WAS ABOUT TO DROP THE L WORD FOR OUR GIRLIEPOP READER 😭 yep, this mans DEFINITELY has it down bad for reader… he just needs a lot of time and comfort with his stubbornly engraved fratboy-fuckboy mindset and just let himself be honest and come to terms with his feelings! he wants y/n!!

NOW that we’ve gotten more clues regarding ari and steve’s history, i came up with this theory: ari and steve were friends in high school, maybe they grew up together and were besties for life? eventually, when college began for kira (my memory’s fuzzy but if i’m right, ari and steve are seniors and reader is a freshman so kira could be in-between, maybe just a year older than y/n), kira chose to go to st. andrew’s instead of st. jude’s (either steve also went to st. andrew’s up until before the events of wg or went to st. jude’s the whole time, i think it could work any way) and steve got ari to promise to take care of kira. again, there are a couple potential scenarios for this! for certain, at any point in time, kira must’ve harboured feelings for ari, but how ari handled that information could either be: a) his time at college turned him into the fuckboy that he is and kira was one of his former side-chicks, b) ari genuinely had feelings for kira too but college turned him into a fuckboy and he lost himself, taking her for granted, or c) it was all a misunderstanding, ari didn’t mean to lead kira on and kira was setting herself up for heartbreak because she was too shy to be communicative with ari 🫢 regardless of each scenario, it ends up with kira being absolutely shattered and heartbroken by the end of her freshman year, steve finds out about this and depending on which college he went to he either a) transferred from st. andrew’s to st. jude’s the following year and kira transfers too (but remains super scarred by her history with ari that she has extreme difficulty allowing herself social interaction again at the risk of further humiliation, hence the remote classes) and steve vows he gets revenge on ari, b) devotes the rest of his time at st. jude’s to besting ari and steve wants his sister’s heartbreak to bite ari in the ass TENFOLD, or c) STEVE BEATS UP ARI, CAUSING HIM TO GET EXPELLED FROM ANDREWS AND LEAVING HIM NO CHOICE BUT TO TRANSFER TO JUDES😶 even though reader is definitely not a stranger to the rogers’ household, i still don’t think it’s enough to vouch that steve wants anything genuine with y/n—like, come AWN, did we not just see that steve had his eyes on her EARLIER from the night of the party⁉️ mans is sus, and i don’t wike it 😒 (additionally, steve is praised at st. jude’s for being the misunderstood hero that was looking out for his sister, furthering ari’s rep of being this cocky st. andrew’s fuckboy—either ari is actually self-aware and is scared to shoo away reader for good if got her hands on the whole story, or he’s actually unsure of the events himself and genuinely can’t give her a sound story on the hatred between him and steve)

Planning MM, I had always planned for him to be the first one OC presses a blade to a throat for, because I could picture no one else in that role. This is just how I've chosen to characterize him.

As for the 'everyone just dogs on him for no reason' line of yours, I literally don't know what you mean? He literally threatens OC four times in MM after she spared his life multiple times, and in HC, sure they may tease him, but they all tease each other. And in terms of the incident at the end of chapter 17, it was an emotional response because he was scared. Which is explained quite thoroughly though the subsequent next three chapters and the remorse he feels immediately after. HJ even says the line "you know as well as I do that he says things he doesn't mean when he's upset" or something along those lines, so I'm really confused as to why you would label HC Hwa as an asshole there. Sure, he said a shitty thing and fucked up, but I'm pretty sure it's obvious how overprotective he is and how much he cares for the oc.

Need I also remind you that these are yandere stories. Not every character is going to be nice, and I have an easier time writing archetypes that fit the idol's face claim for me in my mind for plot purposes than when they do not.

I said it before, and I'll say it again, but sending an anon message like that to an author, it is difficult to indicate tone. You may have been joking, but I do not know who you are behind these screens, and as such, please do not send me jokes along those lines.
