One thing I will never forgive my boyfriend for: immediately upon returning from our month-long trip to Slovenia, where we stayed with my boyfriend's paternal grandparents, we stopped at his house so we could sort through our luggage and make sure we didn't have any of our stuff mixed together before I went home. Literally as soon as we stepped in the door, the first thing out of his father's mouth was "Did you see [insert the name of my bfs best friend's girlfriend]? Isn't she beautiful?" and he laughed and made a cupping gesture in front of his chest to indicate large boobs. "You should be with a girl like that." And he said this in English right in front of me instead of his usual Serbian, which I wouldn't have understood. My boyfriend just said "yes" to the first part and did NOTHING on the second part. I already hate his father but that was so cruel and disgusting and the fact that I had to bring it up to my bf much later and actually ask him why he didn't say anything... like.

i think that David isn't the type of person to allow his opinion to be swayed by someone he doesn't want it to? so when he says to angel that he's only doing it because otherwise they'll make a fuss over doing it for their next anniversary, i think he's literally just refusing to admit that he wants to take that next step with them and instead uses that as an excuse bc vulnerability for vulnerability's sake?? ew sjsj

like i honestly don't think david would let himself be pressured in that sense but he'd rather have angel think that than know that he actually wants to do this and we see that again when he enjoys being pet but doesn't want angel to feel that sort of control/power over him bc man is so emotionally unavailable !!
