It's one of the things that started the rumors that Dirtyhands wasn't human. Fisherman would see him walk out to the docks in the dead of winter, fully clothed in his coat and all, and then dive into the water, no matter how rough it was. They all assumed that he was dead, because no one ever saw him get out of the water, yet he was always back the next day.

They assumed that he would stop when he broke his leg and started using a cane. But he didn't. They watched the scrawny kid, cloaked in mercher black clothes and a heavy wool coat, limp down the dock, take a deep breath, and jump in the water again.

At some point someone suggested he might be a tidemaker, but no one ever saw him control any water. He'd just dive in. And it's widely known that he wouldn't have made it this far in life if he was using tidemaker powers visibly. So they all just assumed that Kaz Brekker was a non-human entity incapable of dying.

Laois protecting Marcille from the falling icicles is just the EXACT reason her and Chilchuck stayed despite everything (besides Falin for Marcille of course). Despite the two of them not understanding him, despite them being put off by his mannerisms at times, despite their varying levels of discomfort around monster food they KNOW at the end of the day Laois has their backs.

He will do everything in his power to keep his party safe with zero hesitation or convincing and he does so because he genuinely cares about them. He might not know how to time a Morale Boosting Speech for when people *dont* have a mouth full of food, but they know he'll be there for them when they need him the most.

I think a lot of show fans of HOTD don’t realize how many changes the writers made to Team Green to make them MORE sympathetic. when you say the show is biased in Team Black’s favor, then y’all should try reading Fire & Blood bc the greens are just comically atrocious. the idea that the show runners are biased against the greens is laughable

I really pushed myself to be accurate to the show's style on this one (with a few creative liberties) and while I like how it turned out, I think I'd rather stick to a looser or more painterly style from here on out. Hope ya'll had a good Valentine's day!

finished watching the Book of Atlantic movie~ at first I was kinda bummed up bc I couldn't find to watch in full HD, only 720p maximum, but then I saw the cgi and realized maybe it was a divine blessing in disguise

I'm almost done with pokemon scarlet and I have some very mixed feelings about it. On one hand I'm ending up playing for hours and having fun but on the other it's filled with so many issues and I end up being frustrated a lot.

The game is the ugliest pokemon game I've seen, open world feels super empty, I'm tired of seeing models popping out when they're 1-2 meters away from you (it's an issue from swsh but still). I hate camera in battles because I often ended up not seeing my pokemon or only seeing their butts. UI during battles is also not great.

It's disappointing to see main games being like that on switch... I'm pretty sure I'll forget about this game in a year just like I did with sword and shield.

You don’t have to elaborate — but if you want to, can I ask what things / how you feel differently? Sexuality, whether it was a real relationship, etc.? Just wondering because I’m also just really taken aback.

It does make me feel a little differently about Harry and Olivia's relationship.

At the same time (and I'm not sure how satisfying this explanation is to me personally) but a tiny part of me feels like Harry has a lot of tattoos - some of which are not particularly deep. I don't think he's shy about getting inked. And similarly to how I feel about the E&L tattoos, we can't really know why someone got a particular tattoo or what it means to them. I do think it's related to Olivia Wilde and not a cat or dog or city in Italy. But he also has "colazione" in practically the same location. And who knows what it means to him or why he got it.
