Going through my old Hunger Games art and proud to say that I've been drawing POC Katniss since 2010! How was 13-year-old me better at reading character descriptions than the grown-ass adults who made the films??

As you know, I've been lowkey aardman-pilled, just consuming every movie and short I can get my hands on lately! Well, I've been talking about a self insert oc idea with my partner and today I finally had the energy to sketch some stuff! (divider cred @/saradika-graphics)

After the events of A Matter of Loaf and Death, we don't really see Fluffles again unfortunately so I thought, what if she decided to go up for adoption again? Obviously she was very traumatized by Piella, and I think after some encouragement she'd be able to open herself up to being owned again eventually! I guess you could say she's a rescue, and through patience and love she eventually begins to heal!

I'm thinking the catch is that she's adopted by someone who lives far away, so Gromit has to let her go in order for her to heal. They still keep in touch through letters, though! And one day he gets a letter saying that Fluffles and her human are gonna be moving in on Wallaby street soon! She's a gentle artist, she moved to England from America to paint landscapes and such and she's a very kind and kinda goofy older lady. Definitely a great dog mom to Fluffles!

Couldn't help but notice how the holes in Kai's hat vaguely look like horns

What if there was a scene in Monstrosity where Kai does something particularly heinous and the horn shapes in his hat become a lot more prominent to signify the "Monster" that Kai is turning into?

While rewatching ducktales, I realised that they looove foreshadowing, they do it all the time, sometimes they even give the whole plot of an episode in the very first scenes without the viewer noticing lol.

Anyway, I realised that they foreshadowed the whole “duke of making a mess” thing that Huey had in the sword of swanstantine episode!

THE THING IS, EVEN on my first watch, I could tell that this was supposed to be a multiple episode arc but they HAD to make it shorter because ducktales was getting cancelled and I’m PISSED. LIKE ALL OF MY FAVOURITE CARTOONS, THIS COULD HAVE BEEN SO MUCH MORE.

DEWEY had his own arc where he’s trying to uncover his mom’s dissaperance with Webby. LOUIE had his own arc where he was struggling with his place in the family and HUEY. DIDN’T.

Ughhh they foreshadowed the Duke of making a mess in the intern episode and even in Scrooge’s birthday!!

Those are BOTH season 1 episodes (I’m not gonna list more foreshadowing because you get my point) SO THEY’VE BEEN BUILDING UP THIS ARC SINCE THE BEGINNING AND THEY DIDNT GET TO CASH IT INNNNN RAHHHHHH 🗣️‼️‼️‼️‼️

When watching the ONE episode where he appears, you could IMMEDIATELY tell that it should’ve been a bigger deal. I mean come onnnn, they enter Huey’s mind scape and there’s a huge closed up door??? With locks??? DUUUDE THAT WOULD’VE BEEN AWESOMMMMEEE

I’m saying all of this but this is just to vent some frustration about how animation shows will just be cancelled without the chance to say all that they’ve wanted to say… and as the one who wants to hear it: *cries and wails and pees on the floor*

Ducktales was planning so many more seasons and only got 3, like every other great animation show nowadays i fear

Consider! Charles finds a camera that has been enchanted to make ghosts show up on film and is absolutely thrilled about it! They’ve got plenty of pics of the girls up and about the office, but it would be good to have some of the founding members, right? Edwin is not quite as enthused about the whole prospect as Charles, as photographs were quite the long, drawn out process back when he was alive. Also, although he does not mention this bit, after a hundred years without seeing it, he’s grown somewhat disconnected from his physical form as something that is his.

Charles is pretty convincing, though, and Edwin is far too willing to allow himself to be convinced when it comes to his friend. They rope in Crystal and she lines up the shot, Charles and Edwin with their arms around each other as they beam at the lens, and then she takes the photo and the flash goes off and when she blinks, the boys are both gone. Crystal calls out for them, but the office is small and it isn’t like there’s much space to hide. She considers that they both sunk through the floor and are fucking with her, but before she can give that particular option too much thought, the camera prints out a small picture.

As it develops, Crystal finds that it did manage to capture the boys’ likenesses, as well as their ghostly essences. The photo is frozen at the moment she took the picture as they both grin at the camera, but when she Reads it she can feel their fear and desperation as they are trapped in the film.

Now, it’s down to Crystal to figure out how to undo this curse and break them out!

ENA Oc! Specifically ENA (Adventurous/Orange) and ENA(Introvert/Teal). She enjoys exploring the great expanse of strange dimensions encountered! Her boss... unfortunately did it as a way to get rid of her but it fails every time. Adventurous is optimistic, and loves to prove her worthy. Introvert meanwhile prefers to stop exploring to take it all in and acts as the caution in danger.

Praying to god that Wild Kratts has an episode centered around gharials because I'm still not over how they referred to them as crocodiles (of which they are in the same order, but not species) and resulted in one of the most confusing (yet aesthetically pleasing) tidbits of lore involving the Creature Power Suits, and I can't be the only one who had to do extensive research on gharials for myself right?

Live Emotion Game Introduction 5 - Emotional Pieces

Lets have a look at Emotional Pieces:

As described on the official twitter account: When you cultivate the fragments of the idol's feelings - their 'emotional pieces' - you'll gain access to things like special outfits, and piece stories. You can also see a new side of the idols by awakening them.

Further Analysis below:

As expected, 'Emotional Pieces' seem to be the equivalent to cards/photos in Shining Live. In this video, we get our first look at what I assume is the initial set of SR (super rare) Pieces titled 'Be Elegant!'. The art on the Pieces is 2d, and likely ties into the main story at the beginning of the game as seen in the previous Story gameplay preview with the same background. The four diamonds to the right of the 'Be Elegant!' title likely either representing the cards rarity as an SR, or the amount that is has been awakened (diamonds could fill with colour to indicate awakening).

Screen 1 - Piece Levelling

In this clip we see Masato's 'Be Elegant!' SR Piece levelled up from 1-11 with the use of two EXP Score (S), and two EXP Score (M). The number above the area to select how many EXP Scores to use shows how many of each item you own. EXP Score (S) earns 100 EXP EXP Score (M) earns 1,000 EXP EXP Score (L) earns 10,000 EXP

We can also see there there are three categories of Pieces. Sing, Dance, and Charm. It's likely that each idol can be different categories depending on the Piece (Eg, one Masato SR could be Charm type as seen in this video, and another could be Dance type). Levelling up the Piece adds slightly more to the Piece's assigned type than the others (Masato's Sing and Dance points get an additional 100 points, and his Charm gets an additional 104.

Each Piece has also has an assigned 'Life' value, assumedly similar to stamina in Shining Live. In this case likely each cards 'Life' value being added together to give you a value for your stamina bar.

Under the Life value on the left shows the level of the Pieces Skills. Main Skill, Idol Skill, and Guest Skill.

The buttons at the bottom read (from left to right): Reset, Omakase (Auto?), Confirm, and 'Piece Board'.

Screen 2-3 - Piece Board

This looks to be the various unlockables for each Piece.

The Top tree is unlockables for Story , the middle tree for Skills, and the bottom tree for Costume/Voicelines. Each also had additional unlocks for extra Charm, Dance, Sing, and Life points. They are levelled up with the pink gems seen in the popup screen. It seems each unlock will reward you 2 of the rainbow gems which are likely used for the Piece Gacha.

The outfit unlocked for Van is titled "Formal Wear'.
