Summary: You're oblivious. That's it. And it drives the Cullens (+ Bella) crazy. Jasper has to take a far more direct approach to get through to you.

“Anyone would think they’re dating,” Alice sighs in exasperation.

Bella follows the vampire’s gaze, noticing you and Jasper standing close together at your car. You’re gesturing wildly, eyes wide, excitement pouring off of you like usual. And Jasper’s just listening, a soft smile on his lips, one she’s only ever seen when the blond’s with you.

“Most of the school does,” she corrects, shoving her hands in her pockets, “Jessica brings it up all the time and Angela says she had to fight Eric to keep it out of the paper.”

Alice snorts softly, the sound somehow delicate. The humans love gossiping about their family, a fact that is unchanging wherever they go. She’s heard more than a few rumors about the two of you, and Jasper probably has too. You, however, remain blissfully unaware.

In her entire century of life, she had never met someone so completely oblivious.

“Does she know he’s flirting with her?” Bella asks, her brow furrowing as Jasper tucks a strand of hair behind your ear while you just keep talking a mile a minute, totally unphased. You, the girl who gets flustered at the drop of a hat with everything else.

“Oh, absolutely not,” Alice chirps matter-of-factly, “She has no clue that he likes her. It’s kind of sweet. But also maddening.”

“You’ve seen something about them?”

“Of course I have.” She sighs again, shaking her head. “It’s not even that, though! I don’t need a vision to know they’re perfect for each other. They’re both absolutely smitten with each other, but she’s even more oblivious than you.”

“Hey-!”

Jasper chuckles under his breath. You pause, head tilting as you follow his flickering gaze to the two girls standing at the other side of the lot. Alice has her hands propped on her hip, a smirk adorning her features as Bella turns impossibly red.

Curiosity washes over you. Eagerly, you whip back to Jasper. “What are they talking about?” 

“Bout you and me it seems, and they’re arguin’ about how…observant Bella is,” he murmurs, amusement clear in his tone.

You blink, pursing your lips a little, “They were talking about us?” 

“They were just wonderin’ if we are goin’ to the fall festival,” he lies smoothly. Jasper has no desire to expose you to the ugly rumor mill of this town. “What do you say, darlin? Want to go with me?”

“Yes! Yes, I’d love to! I’ve been thinking about that all week!” You squeak, confusion disappearing just like that.

The smile you give him is so bright, so genuine, it could cripple a weaker man. The blond has to bite his tongue, though, the desire to lean down and kiss you pulling at his chest viciously. He wants to see if your smile tastes as sweet as it looks…

 “We could see if they want to join us!” You continue, clapping your hands like a little kid. “Maybe that’s why they were talking about us. Oh, it’d be so fun to go as a group!”

The groan from across the parking lot is audible even to you.

“Gaaaahhh-”

Your groan gets cut off when you flop onto your bed and land face first in your fluffy comforter. It practically swallows you whole, you almost wish it would.

Bella watches, lips curling in amusement as she gently drops her backpack down and perches herself at your desk, “Jasper again?”

“-e’s su niiithee,” you whine, voice muffled.

“Try again.”

You turn over on your back, pouting at the ceiling, “He’s so nice.”

“He is.” Bella draws her knees up to prop her chin on and waits. The rant is inevitable.

“No, like, he’s so nice. You don’t understand, Bells.” You throw your arms in the air, letting them fall to the bed dramatically. “I’ve never met someone who’s just so nice. And he’s so pretty and charming and sometimes I just wish I could jump on him and hold on like a koala.”

“You could,” she points out, not missing a beat.

Propping up on your elbows, you can’t help but gasp at her, cheeks going positively red, “No I can’t! That would totally freak him out!”

“I think he’d like it more than you think.”

“Oh my gosh.” Your hands fly to your face, as if covering it will stop the blush from spreading down your neck. “You’re so mean to me, Bells. So crude.”

Bella snorts, “That’s not crude. And you’re oblivious.”

“Hello!” You yelp, sitting up. “Kettle calling the pot black!”

“It’s the other way around, actually.”

“Oh whatever,” you sigh, flopping back down. Your thoughts are always a mess when it comes to Jasper, and everyone teasing you like this doesn’t help. It’s easy when you’re with him, you kind of just forget about it all. He’s your best friend, afterall. A frown pulls at your lips. “And I’m not oblivious. We’re just really close friends. I think I’d know if he liked me or something…”

Bella has never been so close to strangling someone.

Eventually, a Cullen family meeting has to be held about the issue, despite Jasper’s reluctance.

“She’s clueless,” Bella groans, dropping onto the couch next to Edward.

Emmett snickers from his seat with Rosalie, “I thought we already knew that?”

“We did.” Alice sighs as if she’s mourning the thought. “But we’re afraid it’s worse than we originally thought. The girl is hopeless.”

“She is not,” Jasper chides, lingering on the edge of the group. A part of him doesn’t like having his family in the middle of this. It’s his relationship, or lack thereof. He hates feeling infantilized.

“Hush, Jasper.” Alice waves him off, earning a scowl from the blond. “You’re hopeless in your own ways. This is about (Y/n).”

“So what should we do?”

Jasper forces himself to take a long, calming breath. They mean well, he knows that. They always do. But their methods are usually far too…exaggerated. He might have considered asking for Esme’s advice, perhaps even Carlisle, but not Emmett, and most certainly not Alice. This is his decision to make, and he needs to go about it in his own way.

“Oh! Maybe we can hire someone-”

“That won’t be necessary,” he interrupts, cutting off whatever wild plan Emmett has concocted, drawing the family’s attention to himself. Jasper straightens up, giving them all a pointed look, “This is my business, and I will be taking care of it as I see fit. Thank you for your concern, but it is unnecessary.”

“What are you going to do, honey?” Esme speaks her first words of the evening, voice gentle and unassuming as always.

The blond softens, giving her a faint smile, “I’ll be straight with her.”

“But-” 

“Stay out of it, Alice.” The little ravenette pouts, though her eyes dance with excitement. A little push was all he needed, it seems. “It won’t do me any good if she learns of my feelings from one of you. It needs to be me. Even if I have to lay myself out plain for her to see.”

“If you’re sure that’s what you want, son,” Carlisle hums, relieved to take a step back. He wasn’t a fan of this plan from the start.

“It is.”

And it’s true. At one point, it didn’t feel like he had much control of his life, but now he does. And now he has you. It may just be a ‘matter of time’ thing, according to Alice’s vision, but he wants to do this right, at his own pace. 

Now, it’s just a question of how.

“Darlin…can we talk?”

“We are talking,” you giggle, writing down another formula.

“I mean a more serious talk.”

You blink, looking up from your chem textbook to meet a pair of nervous, gold eyes. Nervous? Jasper is nervous? Your brows furrow, concern immediately sparking in your chest.

“Is everything okay?” You ask, notes forgotten and thrown to the side. You can always study later. “What’s up, Jasper?”

“Everythin’s alright, just-” Jasper settles on the bed in front of you. He keeps a respectable distance, but reaches across to take your hand in his. You freeze. Eyes wide, you can’t stop yourself from staring at it. Your hands. Together. He’s holding your hand. Why is he holding your hand?

“Darlin?”

“Huh?” Oh right. You drag your gaze back up to him, catching a flicker of an amused smile on his lips. A blush creeps up your neck and you smile apologetically. “Sorry, sorry, um, what’s up?”

“I have something important to tell you,” he explains, thumb brushing over your knuckles in a way that is far too distracting. 

It helps calm your racing heart, though, because a part of you is terrified. You have no clue what he could possibly want to talk about that would warrant such seriousness. Unconscious, you end up holding your breath, waiting for him to continue.

“I like you, darlin.”

What?

You pause. Process. Confusion swirls through your concern.

“I like you too, Jazz, you’re my best friend,” you chime, tone completely lost and befuddled.

An incredulous laugh breaks past Jasper’s wall of nerves. The tension drips from his shoulders. It’s ridiculous. So ridiculous that he feels like he can finally say everything he’s ever wanted to say.

“I’m ‘fraid you don’t understand, darlin,” he hums, giving you one of those gorgeous, slanted grins that make your heart melt. And the way you cock your head at him, eyes doe-ish and soft, does the exact same thing to him. “I want to take you on a date. I want to open doors for you and walk you to your porch afterwards. Maybe give you a goodnight kiss and watch you go inside. You drive me mad, darlin. I like you so much, it’s taking everythin’ in me not to kiss you right now.”

What?

Your head spins. It’s difficult to even process what he’s saying, everything swimming through your head at a dizzying pace. Maybe you heard him wrong.

“You-” You falter, “You want to- to what?”

Finally.

Jasper smirks, leaning in just enough to make your heart skip erratically, “I want to kiss you sugar. And trust me, it is mighty hard to control myself.”

“Okay um…” You scream silently in your head. Jasper wants to kiss you. Jasper likes you. He likes you. And you like him. “So, you- okay, I have no clue what to do now. I like you too, a lot. Which you probably knew. Wow. I can’t believe I didn’t…”

“Everyone tried tellin’ you,” Jasper chuckles, leaning back.

“I know! I just, I thought they were all teasing me, you know? Cause I like you,” you explain lamely, pouting a bit in disbelief. All this time, you could have just told him! “I just can’t believe how oblivious I was.”

“Trust me, darlin, none of us can. I have one more question for you, though.”

“What?”

“Will you give me the great pleasure of takin’ you on a date?”

You bite your lip, but it does nothing to stop the smile from spreading across them.

“Of course!”

These are my OT5 brainstorm pages. Elaborations on how I got to these below! I reference concept pages so if you see any pictures you don't recognize that's why. <3

First up is Cat Noir who I think is already perfect lmao. For my version though I wanted to lean closer to his PV design because I love it, like his larger triangle nose (you can't really see it at the angle in my drawing but it's there I swear!), the bigger bell, the more elaborate belt, etc.... so basically everything ... just in my style instead.

With my designs I think that whenever someone transforms into their miraculous persona it's based on what they think a hero looks like or what they think is cool. I think Adrien reads a lot of comic books and is a fan of characters like Batman (relatable for him LOL), Catwoman, and Nightwing, so his suit reflects that kind of vibe.

Extra: I decided that Ladybug and Cat Noir's masks go all the way up their foreheads because it looks nicer in my 2D style with their bangs haha.

Next up is the one and only Ladybug! Unpopular opinion but I actually like the all red suit! My hypothetical series would be a webcomic, and I feel like in action scenes the red differentiates her from Cat Noir esp at a distance, and more red style keeps their color ratios even.

I like the ladybug designs with a bunch of black sections they're very cute! Just not for my au. (I think it's just me but I find drawing the ladybug designs with inverted red dots to feel sacrilegious in a way,,, just my neurodivergent brain lol)

And I am a long ribbons truther, I love them and they can be very expressive. Also I knew I wanted Marinette to have a more vertical circular eye shape because her shape vibe is definitely a circle (Adrien's is triangle) and it reminded me of the eyes for the main girl in princess jellyfish (I've never seen it, love the style tho)

Her hair is a more bright blue to contrast her hair against her suit, and make her look more cartoonish. I imagine her idea of a superhero comes from kids shows and some magical girl anime. So her hair has a plastic shiny texture to it because when she thinks 'superhero' she thinks of kids toys. Also I just like color! The blue kinda gives comic spiderman vibes imo (the version with the light blue instead of the navy)

Queen Bee definitely changed the most throughout the design process. I really like her in-show design so I just tweaked it to be more my vibe. Adding a crown because she's a Queen.

Something that I've noticed is that Alya and Chloe actually share a lot of traits (There's even some old concept notes where I believe Alya and Chloe either switch names or roles at some point?? The miraculous concept info rabbit hole is real y'all) and I think this comes through in their final designs.

Like they both share a middle part, which bothers me for some reason, so I decided to give Chloe a little Ariana Grande side part into a ponytail.

I wanted each character to have a cool little piece on their costume, so I tried these little hip things to make her more commanding and girlboss, but currently her weapon is similar to ladybug's (but more like one of those hair ties w the little disco balls on them) and it would sit on her hip and would clash w her hip thingies, so I just decided to make her weapon the hip things instead, combining the two.

Something else that bothered me a lot was that Rena was the only one with white on her costume. Everyone has black but she's the only one with white... my brain says that this cannot be. So I tried to give Bee some fun white fuzzy bits but the texture just was too different...

And then I had the mega-brain idea to make her hair white to tie in the white from Rena. Her and Cat Noir both having blonde hair irked me as well LOL so this hit two birds with one stone. I wanted her hair to be sharper and more aggressively drill shaped because of her abrasive personality haha.

After that, is Carapace. I had an idea for him from the start because I felt like his in-show design just doesn't match his personality... I couldn't make his outfit all loose because I wanted to stick generally to the miraculous suit formula, but I feel like 'skin tight suit' just isn't his vibe. So he has a kind of hammer pants situation.

I think they capture Carapace's b-boy ninja turtle vibe while still looking like a miraculous outfit. Though I decided later that I wanted the pants to be a lighter color for contrast and the visor to be white (to tie in that Rena Rouge white).

Lastly is Miss Rena! Something that bothered me (back on the similarities to Chloe) was that they both have ponytails (yes I know I'm crazy). Even though they have very different textures I just wanted each of them to be distinct from each other. So I put her hair down and just dramatized her regular hairstyle.

Also her and Queen Bee both have black gloves to their upper arms, which, you guessed it, bothered me. So I shortened Rena's to just reach her elbow.

I wanted her to look like a magic-man, her illusion powers evoke a showmanship energy to me. I imagine her and Cat Noir are quite the dramatic theater kid-esque duo.

So, for drama I tried some flowy arm bits, which I think ended up just looking a little strange, so I'll pocket that idea for something else. Then, I tried to add her coattail from the show, but it ended up looking a little frumpy, not the drama I wanted.

I ended up making her coat more triangular in the front, to give off the vibe of a magician's vest, and changed it to solider red/orange double coattails, which I think makes her more magic-man-ish. And I think the white ends made it too busy.

So those are my hero designs! I'm still working out Hawkmoth and Mayura, esp Hawkmoth because I am not good at drawing masculine older men...

please. you expected and daydreamed of the kind of outburst this will cause, and the anticipation almost ruins the entire thing as you try to contain your excitement as soon as you found the perfect day for it.

when bakugo comes home from his weekly training with the others, grumbling about some new pro-heroes still trying to find their rhythm and hitting each other more than their practiced ‘villains’, he’s sweaty and complaining, and his butt had never looked more beautiful tightly encompassed in athletic shorts.

his glutes are hugged so prettily, and his thighs have never looked more appealing. if you didn’t have a prank prepared, you would be too busy salivating at your delicious significant other.

you near him, as casual as you can. he turns to you briefly as he shakes his protein pack. “we probably won’t have dinner tomorrow,” he grumbles, going at the week’s schedule in his head. “we’re gonna have to train the new recruits more, seeing as they can’t fuc— hey!”

bakugo’s reactionary movement is fast— he’s a pro-hero after all — and as soon as your hand sneaked up, grabbed a handful of his butt, and jiggled it— you knew you were setting yourself up to get caught as a speed of lightning, he was turned to you, eyes wild and wide, face flushed red, holding your wrist in a death grip.

his mouth was gaping as you tried to bite your laughter. “what the fuck are you doing?”

“the old grab and jiggle?”

“the— what the fuck is the old grab and jiggle?”

you blink innocently. “want me to show you again?”

“n-no! that’s enough! who the fuck’s teaching you these things?” his eyes narrow, tugging you close. “is it shitty hair?” 

“no.” you giggled. “found it myself, wanted to see how thick my lover is.” you winked at him and his scowl twitched, face burning brighter, before he clenches his jaw.

“give me your butt.”

you squealed at his slow approach, backing away at the determined look in his gaze. “no! katsuki—”

“give me your butt!”

excuse to all your neighbours with the most random of screeches and threatening demands of ‘grabbing your butt and jiggling the shit out of it’, but they’re used to you. especially when he catches you— because of course he does — and you explode in laughter.

on god, pro-hero kirishima has the juiciest butt you cannot change my mind.

you had almost, actually forgotten about your fun little plan until kiri decided he wanted to make use of the very nice veranda right beside the living room for his workout, giving you a little kiss as he set off on working out on the nice patio with the glass doors open for the refreshing spring day to come in.

but when he started doing lunges, going forward and stretching those workout shorts so snugly against his very beautiful thighs and derrière— apart from salivating for a good minute, you remember the little prank that has your fingers itching.

so when he switches to squats, you move like a cat.

conspicuous and too aware of every little movement, you’re a little thankful that his workout playlist is loud, and he’s very much in the zone, huffing quietly and and even humming as he bent those very nice thighs of his.

with a light sheen of sweat and his bright red hair pulled with a headband, you try and contain your giggles as you crept forward, one arm already outstretched toward the source of what looks like gold.

you know you can’t be quiet for too long. your boyfriend, after all, was a pro hero with very good skills, already turning toward your practically soundless approach with a nice smile.

“hey, y/n—”

you strike quick and you strike good, his entire body too preoccupied with stationing the position to stop the hand the darted out to grab a handful of one cheek and make it jiggle.

your kiri is so startled that he yelped, jumped, and fell on his chin.

“ow.”

“oh my god.” your panic is startled by your own snort, moving toward him immediately to catch him turn, still sweaty and more shocked than hurt, as he grabbed his very red chin. your amusement couldn’t die down, even in guilt. “i’m so sorry, baby! that’s—” then you burst out laughing.

despite his watery eyes and confusion, he laughs with you. he pulls you close, already technically on top of him, adjusting as you catch your breath in between wheezes.

as you rest your head on his neck, his deep rumble of, “should i be concerned that i’m going to get molested in my own house now?”

you smack his chest.

“ow, i’m not kidding, actually.”

you pull back, pouting, face flushed from laughing so much that he leans forward to kiss your chin. “it was a joke, you know. plus, you have very good glutes.”

his hands gloss over your back, before he grabs a lot of your own butt’s meat, making you shriek as he squeezes. he smirks. “you have very good glutes too, baby.”

—HUSBAND!DENKI KAMINARI

kaminari would never think you’d do this.

for one, he had more of juicy thighs than arse, and second, he was getting ready for a hero gala, adjusting his suit against the floor length mirror whilst you went to the kitchen to take some water.

you had gone with him a few times, but it really wasn’t your scene. after greeting familiar faces and meeting new ones, a few tossed champagnes and dancing a little with your husband if it was part of the evening, there really isn’t much to

you were so focused on how much the suit was doing wonders for your husband, practically drooling against the water on your lips, that you don’t notice him ask you something. until he repeated it. again. and again. and he finally turned, eyebrow arched to check what you’ve been doing, not hearing him.

“—love!”

water practically dipped forward on your chin as you awoke from staring at your husband. “y-yeah?”

he smirked, snorting softly as he walked toward you.

he looked so good, his hair pushed back to one side, the years of being a pro-hero settling so nicely on him.

“are you okay, love?”

you set the glass down, blushing as he put one hand on your waist and another on your chin, wiping your mouth with a little smile. 

“what’s going on in your little head, hm?”

you sighed, leaning into his touch to rest your head on his chest, winding your arms around his torso. his warmth felt so good and nice, and he was so very built against his suit, feeling his dips and ridges.

“you just looked so delicious.”

you felt his laughter rumble against your own body, squeezing you in the comforting little hug and humming against your ear. “thank you. all for my favourite— hey!”

your hands had wandered, going south and tightly clenching against the fat of his rump and jiggling it wildly.

he had pulled away from you as you laugh, bitting your bottom lip as red spread across his neck and cheeks. 

“that was uncalled for!”

“your butt had looked so nice, husband of mine. i couldn’t help it.”

“you’re rude.” but he laughs, and its a charming look on him. “mhmh, but only if i’m allowed to do it too.”

just because he wasn’t built like trucks like the rest, doesn’t mean sero isn’t built. although he’s more lean, when he’s stretched out on the couch like this, on his stomach, his muscles strained over his arms where he kept them underneath the pillow his head was resting, and his thighs and legs were on full display with the tail end of his ducky socks— you remember just how juicy he is.

especially his very prominent butt, looking exceptionally delicious.

and free real estate for a little grab and jiggle.

so you settle by his legs, peeling them off and putting them on your lap. he stirs but doesn’t do much, because for some reason, hanta is harder to wake up at home. you do know he’s alert most of the time, can barely even think about sleeping outside of the house.

what you don’t know is that the atmosphere both of you have built in this house felt like safe haven to him, and every single one of his instincts as a pro-hero quiets. melts. the safety is lulling, and his heartbeat knows your every little movement. the patters of your feet, the warmth of your skin against his. . .

you quiet the ever functioning pro-hero’s instinct.

so when his legs are on your lap, you grab a handful and made it jiggle. its fascinating how he doesn’t wake up from the first contact. you knead more, fascinated by the fat and muscle, and when you give it a smack, you hear a muffled sound.

you freeze, turning to the silky strands of dark hair spilling over the other side of the body you were playing with.

“. . . since when have you been awake, hanta?”

silene.

then another muffled, “. . . am not.”

you smack his butt again, and he shrieks unmistakably, peeling into laughter as he rearranges himself to turn toward you, hauling you by your arms instead and manoeuvring you on top of him, before he lays you both down, starfish pancake style.

he groans into your hair, snuggling you close as he laughs sleepily. “you were having too much fun, thought i’d you give that at least. after all, it’s your favourite ass.”

you pinch his waist and he shrieks again, laughing as he tries to pinch you. you’re too embarassed to say anything, just carding your other hand through his hair.

“i mean,” he says. “to be fair, i did like it. it felt like a really nice massage. the smacking might be too much though. woke my fucking soul up.” he nuzzles into your hair, mumbling, “say. . . can you do that again?”

is there anything you’d change abt the character designs in om?

anon you've opened pandora's box #sorrynotsorry. also this does not cover most of my thoughts abt their clothes bc otherwise this would be way too long lmao but i included some of it

lucifer: i actually rlly like his design, although it's probably bc i like the cliche dark-haired asshole design most of the time. i think i'd change the outfits where he doesn't have gloves to include gloves bc it's really jarring for me to see his hands, and i wish there was more card art of him w glasses

mammon: okay starting off, he'd get one skin tone that would be normalized across the game, bc the whitewashing really gets on my nerves. then i'd make his eyes brown. i also wish his hair had more texture, maybe locs or smth, and though i like his white hair, it would also be cool if they included dark roots, as if he were bleaching it or smth. i'd also change his earrings to smth gold, and maybe a small hoop instead of studs.

levi: ik it's an otome and characters are typically shredded but imo he'd look so much better chubby, esp in the face. give me chubby levi i am begging you. i'd also change his nail color to orange to match his eyes

satan: his design in kind of boring + basic but idk if there's anything i'd really change... maybe make his nails more of a deeper green ig?

asmo: i'd give him earrings, esp cartilage ones, and maybe a nose ring, def not a septum tho. ik that would only really appear in card art but it'd look good. i also think i'd shift the hair color slightly, make it a little less brown and more strawberry blonde. also i'd change his nails too, make them pink and white instead of pink and teal

beel: tbh i think beel is good. i really like his design. although I've seen some new official art that's made him skinny and with dumb hair so i'd def avoid that

belphie: i'd add a little but more white to his hair for balance, as well as adding more cow splotches to his skin when he's in his demon form, maybe up on his cheek and face. i'd also give him less dumb shoes tbh

diavolo: again i'd normalize his skin tone, and also make it a little less gray-undertoned (demon form). i do like his gold eyes tho maybe i'd make them a little darker, and i wish he had long hair with texture. i like his bright red hair when he's in his demon form tho

barbatos: he's kind of boring too,,, i'd change his hair, make the bangs different and it overall a bit wilder. i'd also give his boots more of a heel

simeon: normalize skin & darken eye color like w mammon, i think his eyes should really be so dark you almost can't see the pupil, and it'd be cool if his hair was darker and curlier. i'd also give him gold jewelry to match his angel outfit

luke: i really like his design too, they did a good job making it childish and fitting for him. so no changes to him

OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO OKAY OKAY I LIKE THIS ONE AND HOPE NO ONE HATES ME FOR MY ORDER BUT

1. revenge (obviously i mean look at me i am drenched in black and red at all times and gerards hair was just so nice) specific parts include flour face gerard and that photoshoot with the blood covering his hand in a building with brick walls and arches it looked like a church basement and the vampire one for kerrang where its a girls back and theyre covered in blood and hes biting her neck hehe, reasoning for it being my favorite is it has only one song i skip (ghost of you) and every other has a lot more that i usually do and just how theatric and dramatic but also edgy everything was, tbp is more theatric BUT theres more Hope vibes and this is that but with despair and blood and guns and coffins and that just appeals to me fundamentally way more especially when im in my bag. it probably has my most favorite songs too, like to the end cemetery drive jetset life and HANG EM HIGH OR MOTHERFUCKING DIE. maybe my favorite mcr song but im not thinking too hard when i say that

2. bullets, its just so suburban i feel like I'm back in Jersey its October and im walking past cul de sacs and the sunset is bright fucking orange its fantastic its art in every sense and its full of sorrow bc its the closest album chronologically to 9/11 and gerard had the least sureness in the future but he was so confident and it just bleeds into everything so hard, my favorite moments in life are majorly moments similar to what i described. wearing a hoodie and jeans and converse and observing the way the streetlights color the concrete and asphalt, especially if theres been rain. chinese food from family restaurants and rolling rock beer and sitting at neighborhood playgrounds on the swingset rocking back and forth with the carbonation buzzing in your brain. favorite moments include the pic of frank and gerard smoking on pool chairs and that pic of them in some grandmas house with wooden walls and a china and tchotchke cabinet and lace curtains and im pretty sure mikeys sitting on the leg of a couch.it was my desktop bg for a year or two.

3. black parade; i really appreciate the death topic and i will admit i struggle to get on the Hope wavelength throughout esp in famous last words ykno the keep on living part but there are some of my favorite fucking demos like emily and all the angels and im Pretty surE desert song but smack my ass and call me a moron if its wrong. i will say visually other than the marching band outfits its the least interesting era, the white hair was just kinda there to me and no one else had anything outstandingly russling my jimmies. frank did have some cute hair curls on his bangs tho sometimes. i do rlly like the whole haunted vibe tho bc of the paramounts effect on them tho, when i notice it in songs and lyrics it is pretty effective in makin my spine straighten with the hollow eyed, sleepless and frankly a little scared nervous energy. house of wolves has been in my rotation the past month or so bc it reminds me of trevor gta a lot. wttbp i skip every time just about. i save that song for when people are trying to be emo allies and queue it on the aux or when it comes on the radio or in public. blood is AMAZING and reminds me a lot of the song air from the hair soundtrack, and i wonder if gerard was trying to specifically mimic that songs vibe because if u ask me thats very gerard. i think overall the concept and the lore of the album's fruition appeal to me more than anything else, i also love mother war and some of the other various character designs.

4. current era; im saying this because foundations of decay is literally that promising of a single and the shows' outfits are so wonderful and the energy and love and happiness is just so fucking palpable that i already know this is where the new album is gonna sit for me. its gonna be so fucking good. we all know this so well. favorites include nurse gerard the mikey fuckin way shirts and that slicked back hair gerard mmf yum

5. danger days; im SORRRY i just. the songs only appeal to me on a surface level aside from destroya and i always just get rlly bad feelings when i see pics of gerard bc i know he said he was starving himself and it makes me :/ more than anything else seeing him. i feel Bad saying he looked hot. this is also the only album with songs i actively dislike within. i will say that when i say i like destroya. i fucking Love destroya. its so good its so fucking good its everything to me. OH and im gonna include the killjoys comic in this and say that even though i love it so fucking much its not enough to put it above current era. its not that i dislike danger days. its that every other era is so strong compared in my mind that since something has to be last it will be this. favorite moments include the videos of them behind the scenes for na na na laughing and having fun the photoshoot with the backdrop where they're all underneath it and gerard looks like a fucking otherworldly being level insane like hes made of porcelain and the mv shots of them in the trans am at night especially going in the tunnel speeding ass out of town. i will add that i discovered mcr thru sing bc it was on a rhythm game i owned at 11 and i still remember the two days before mcr broke up when i finally remembered to give them a listen and openly cried watching them all die in the killjoy vids so theres a nostalgic rawness that part of me wants to leave preserved like an artifact at a museum.

13. Favorite Vocalist? 

GAhhhhh this one is so hard bc I l o v e all of our boys’ voices. Like Jin’s voice is incredibly stable and warm, very bright in sound with a really lovely tonal quality. Tae’s deep timbre and resonance is honestly gorgeous. Jungkookie has a voice really suited to pop and slow ballads, like his voice is so versatile and gentle and breathy and beautiful. But I think my favorite is Jimin. He has such a unique tone and he has this almost counter tenor-like quality, esp when he’s in his upper register, it’s really stunning and almost sparkles.

14. Favorite Rapper? 

Okay wtf how can I choose?! Tbh before bangtan, I never really liked rap but getting to know these boys, esp Joon and Yoongi’s stories about their journey with music, really made me appreciate it more. Like Hobi didn’t even want to be a rapper and he has SUCH an interesting flow that I love. Namjoon’s way with words really made me appreciate rap as a method of storytelling. He’s truly so clever and really talented. BUT I think Yoongi is my favorite. His experiences, the stories he tells, his voice inflections, his delivery, it’s all so raw and real. One of the greatest rappers of all time, in my humble opinion.

Namjoon: purple was SUCH a good look for him, esp that like faded lavender mullet from ON 😩

Seokjin: blonde Jin will always be superior idc

Yoongi: mint yoongi was iconic so i would like to see it again but also black and like a soft brown really suit him, i think

The way the pack works in Qinghe is still pretty similar to clans in canon, just slightly different

Mingjue and his direct family are the head family Of Course, and they secure this position via duels/fighting should another family want to take over; these duels are common under stressful times, but Mingjue has been able to keep it held down. 

The duels are like.....scheduled ahead of time, and are held in a secure area; the rules are that you can’t kill your opponent, that if you win you must treat the wolf who lost, + only the wolf who challenged the leader can fight, no one else (and vice versa, only the leader can fight) can join in, And More

like you cant aim for vitals, use teeth beyond taunting, fights cant be scheduled during/near full moons, and the fighters must choose whether they will both fight in humanoid form or wolf form

 Clan elders supervise the fight, and have selected specific soldiers that will help break up the fight if anything goes wrong; doctors are also on stand by bc these fights get BLOODY (esp w mingjue)

Huaisang nearly loses his position after pretty much being back-to-back challenged for his position, which instilled the rule that duels can only happen three times a year. He’s managed to win his duels with his own tricks, but they can still end pretty bloody

Ranking is not much different due to the clans wanting consistency (also im stupid and gay)

The nies end up becoming the most medically advanced due to how dangerous shifting is; they develop medications to ease pain, different magic stuff to control body temperature, etc. etc.

and actually the Nies are known for being pretty wolves

TYPICALLY a fully shifted wolf during a full moon aren’t the prettiest things to look at; most commonly their fur is patchy, their limbs are obviously distorted, faces look mutilated in a sense, all that

BUT, due to advances in cultivation & medicine they’re able to be calm after a shift, so they’re able to keep up w personal hygiene LMAO

Mingjue personally is almost obsessive with keeping his fur a certain way to be both 1. Handsome :) 2. intimidating as hell; he has the advantage of getting rlly thick hair from his Elven side, so his pelt is flush. but he also leaves some of it “messy” and puffed out for the intimidation bit

huaisang keeps his completely brushed n smooth and he’s usually nested in his bed when he shifts. he was also blessed with the fullness in his pelt, but his chest/belly and thighs are more ‘bare’ compared to mingjue.

they also braid what parts of the fur they can; mingjue and huaisang have LOTS of braids as usual

ALSO the most common pelt color is black with white/lighter pelts being on the uncommon side, second most common are dark creams/browns/reds with black snouts/heads/legs/etc. 

Mingjue has ruddy brown + black snout/legs/all that; Huaisang has brown w black ticked (i have NO idea what the dog term is for that, its like the tips of the fur is black??) 

both have bright amber/yellow eyes

ok. PRIMARILY. they dont have tails in human form, BUT, it’s possible, and it’s something that puppies/young disciples will usually let show??

Mingjue ONLY shows his tail when hes in private with someone close, like Huaisang or Xichen, and he Knows they won’t be walked in on. He just has this Thing where he’ll be fucking humiliated if someone else saw it. he also has rlly long fur on his tail so its PRETTY, he just thinks its childish

Huaisang on the other hand kept his tail out until he became the sole leader of the pack, save for like, banquets he attended with Mingjue bc mingjue would tell him to Quit It.

getting rid of a tail is an hour long process so mingjue has to watch the time to get huaisang before they go anywhere

if theres no time to hide a tail, tuck it in ur pants so it doesn’t move and hide it under layers

just. a tail in humanoid form is a different context than just seeing it when they’re shifted, and again a sign of childishness.

puppy ears in human form can also happen but it’s discouraged heavily because of the possibility of damaging ear canals.

OH ALSO, another reason why like, the nie clan has that GIANT ass wall surrounding its city, is because they go on total lockdown during full moons. 

puppies are a fucking MESS to deal with, and they run like. constantly. If they’re still it’s because they’re either eating something or they’ve passed out from exhaustion. Huaisang was a TERROR when he was a puppy and mingjue still has a scar on his arm from when he went ballistic from pent-up energy

SO! There’s different parts of the city where puppies and young wolves can run around, destroy shit, eat whatever, wrestle each other, all that, and they’re HEAVILY supervised by elders/adult wolves who have better control of themselves during fullmoons

the only wolves who can leave the area during a fullmoon are Mingjue and Huaisang, and maybe like, a really well-respected elder or two, but that’s it

and despite popular belief this is actually the WORST time to attack Qinghe. Every wall is guarded, everyone is in a state where they can mutilate someone thats usually considerably stronger than them in human form, and Everyone is on high-alert whether they’re destroying a tree or nearly unconscious

theres also areas in the city sealed off for weaker/sickly wolves who are taken care of by capable adults, citizens of other species, all that

full moons aren’t hated in qinghe! they’re quite fun if you’re a werewolf; the areas for Going Ham are usually packed with different stuff u can mess with, you just have to watch ur back

they also aren’t that violent bc again, intense supervision by elders and the like; and they’re becoming more and more festival like with cultivation and medical advancement

then of course, the sword situation is still very much the same; my version of werewolves are like, slightly allergic to silver, but piercing one or having silver near won’t kill a wolf. the most it will do is give them a rash :/

all of their jewelry/accessories are made out of different metals because of this, esp since Qinghe is rich with that (+jewels/gems bc i love that hc so much)

THENNN i think last thing for now, they DO wear some form of clothing in wolf form, MOST of the time

typically there’s enough fur to cover privates, but its not unusual for there Not to be enough fur, so there’s specially made hanfu for full moons that are custom made for each wolf

basically being a seamstress in Qinghe will Get You Places, bc tears will happen, people will want them adjusted if they’re passing them to another family member, fashion choices, etc. etc.

Mingjue normally wears really simple hanfu and dachangs (the like, over-robe thing), but xichen bought him a specially made hanfu that he likes to wear during really important events, should he be in wolf form :)

2. who takes the maternity/paternity leave from work, when the kid is born?

both of them, i think ???? they both have jobs that require a lot of involvement --- she has to physically be in places to take photos for the prophet, obv, and he has to physically be in places to break those curses --- but they kinda both take that step back for the kids. i think in canon he stays in england once his kids are born, so maybe he takes a desk job around abby or archie’s births, long-term

abby’s first word is ‘fuck’, bcos both bill and nettie swear like sailors, and they’re both scrambling to try and get it out of her vocab before granny molly finds out lmao. they’re a little more careful with the boys, just bcos of prior experience; i think archie’s a real momma’s boy, so probably his first word is ‘mam’. but finlay gets ‘da’, so bill’s not too left out

probably bill ???? both of them are quite protective anyway, bcos of the war; they get very worried abt the kids, esp in the early years, when they’re still young and the scars from the war haven’t healed as much. but i think nettie’s a bit more chill about them

oh nettie’s immune. nettie’s very calm about it --- she’ll figure out exactly what’s bothering them, if it’s a legit thing that she should be concerned abt, or if it’s just a temper tantrum. she’s very calm abt discipline too.

the first few times, bill has a massive panic. but he’s largely immune after that, too, if only bcos he and nettie develop a whole policy wrt to it lmao

8. who is more likely to make ice cream for breakfast?

-Don’t ask me where it came from it just appeared and Jisung is trying to force feed you a piece bc you keep talking about how corny the acting is and how fake everything is

-Most of the time he succeeds bc hello,,, it’s cheesecake it’s very hard to resist

-However it has a 100% success rate when it comes to shutting Jisung up bc that boy LOVES cheesecake

-Like, imagine you’re watching a movie that you really wanted to watch and Jisung being Jisung is very energetic and is talking so you have to keep feeding him cheesecake until he’s in a food coma so you can catch everything that’s going on in the movie

-Movie night normally ends bc Jisung has fallen asleep clinging to you bc you fed him too much cheesecake or you’ve fallen asleep in his arms bc u were really tired and Jisung didn’t want to disturb your sleep so he turns the film off and snuggles next to you

-You wake up in the morning and the first thing you see is Jisung’s staring softly at you and he kisses your forehead as you’re struggling to open your eyes properly

-He giggles at the sight of you trying to rub the sleep out of your eyes bc hello,,, ur hella cute when you’ve just woken up

-He presses another kiss to your forehead and you whine playfully at him, snuggling into his chest and you can feel the vibrations bc he’s chuckling at you

-Would 10/10 have a toothbrush prepared for you even if you brought your own bc he likes looking at the extra toothbrush as it makes him feel all warm and fuzzy bc HECK YEAH that’s what real couples do,,,, have matching toothbrushes at each others places

-After the first few times you stopped bringing a toothbrush round bc you knew that Jisung would have one already waiting for you

-The two of you brush your teeth together and he rests his head on your shoulder as he does bc in reality he’s just a soft romantic boy and mornings like this make him feel cosy

-Would also 10/10 tease you bc your messy bed hair and if you’re too tired to retaliate you just slap his shoulder and bury your face into his neck whilst he laughs,,,,, but if you’re not tired well,,,, boy has it coming for him bc he has TERRIBLE bed hair all the time you’re not even sure how it gets that bad but as soon as you lay eyes on it you’re CREASING from laughter and it’s Jisung who’s turning bright red and burying his face into your neck bc you’re RUTHLESS when you’ve had a good nights sleep

-Whilst I feel like he doesn’t do it often bc he likes to keep work separate from home, there are times when he brings lyric sheets or is working on a new track when you’re around bc though he doesn’t like it bc he wants to spend more time with you, you’re very supportive and you’ll sit with him whilst he does it

-Imagine him with his headphones on, working on a track whilst you’re sat in the same room doing your own thing or talking to the other members and Jisung can’t help but glance over at you bc to him, you’re his muse

-Like, on a bad day he knows he can always turn to you and you can cheer him up and you support everything that he does and it just makes him so emotional that when he finishes his work he’ll always come up to you and just cuddle you for the rest of the day bc heck is he so grateful he has you in his life

It was particularly rare finding a decently priced house only a few blocks away from campus (not counting the glorified suburban homes that housed the frats and sororities) so you knew that there had to be a catch to the entire ordeal. Whether it be a creepy landlord or inescapably loud parties, you and your friends braced yourself for the worst once all of you had signed the lease.

However, one month in and the only weird thing about the entire block had to be the eerily decorated house across the street. It was the biggest one compared to the rows of the picket-fences, two tall trees bordering the left and right corner of the front yard with three sets of stairs leading up to the mahogany double doors. While the rest of the houses were painted a fresh spring color, the house across was a dark shadow amongst its sisters on the block. With only grey tiles that covered the roof, everything else was accented with darker wood and ledger stone tiles as pillars that held up the porch.

No one really spoke much about it at first. Your next door neighbors situated on the right was a sweet couple, living the longest on the block compared to the rest of the street. When you and the other three people living with you now (Chaeyoung, Taehyung, and Jimin) went to drop off french macarons (instead of the usual rice cakes) out of courtesy, mostly everyone gave silent warnings to not approach the dark house. It wasn’t until Taehyung’s curiosity got the best of him and finally asked the other college students that inhabited the apartment complex a couple houses down yours.

“Is it like a ‘Boo Radley’ situation?” Jimin asked as he handed the delicately wrapped boxes over to the guy named Hoseok.

Namjoon, the taller one, shook his head as Hoseok retreated in their home to set the gift aside. “No, not necessarily. At least, the rumors haven’t reached to murder yet.” At the sight of yours and Chaeyoung’s expression, the boy quickly hurried on to explain. “The most popular one is that anyone that enters that house never comes out.”

Taehyung’s laugh bellowed, carefree as he flicked a few loose strands of his bangs aside. “I call bullshit. This is LA, dude, not some shitty town in the middle of nowhere.”

“It’s your choice to believe it or not,” Hoseok shrugged. “But there’s one piece of evidence that can actually support that rumor.”

“What is it?” You found yourself asking.

“Any pizza boy that comes by that house goes missing.”

“So there’s five of them?”

You didn’t bother rolling your eyes - the world seemed to spin with how often you’ve done it in the past ten minutes - and kept your attention on your notes. With your frame curled up on the left side of the couch and Chaeyoung’s slender legs stretched out on the rest of the piece of furniture, Taehyung occupied the armchair closest to you with his gangly stature sprawled all over it. His head dangled off the edge of the armrest, his hair comically standing on end as though he was electrocuted, as he tossed a baseball only to catch with precision a few seconds later.

“Yes. There’s five,” Chaeyoung answered kindly, her voice never betraying the hidden frustration that was growing beneath her expression. That had to be the tenth time Taehyung had asked to reiterate what Namjoon told them only moments prior. “And before you ask, we don’t know their names. All we know is that they attend our university, appears to be filthy rich, and likes to order pizza.”

“Which is how they lure in their prey,” Jimin cut in as he padded from the bathroom with only a loose towel tied haphazardly around his lean waist. The sight of the shirtless male would’ve made you blush but you’ve lived with him (as well as the other two) too long to feel any surprise at any state of his undress. “They’re like black widows, hot and dangerous.”

You couldn’t bite back the snort that escaped you. “How do you know they’re hot?”

“I just do. It’s a vibe thing.”

At this point, you were sure that your eyes would’ve fallen out with how much you’ve rolled them.

Two months in and still no sign of the mysterious five that lived in the house across the street. Every morning, you stuck to a serious and sharp routine that you followed religiously. Wake up at 6:30 AM, jog a couple laps around the street, return back by 7:00 AM to start on breakfast with Jimin and be ready by your first class (regardless if it was a nine am class or a two pm class). With how often you’re actually out and about, you were positive that you’d have at least bumped into them once.

But you were just as unsuccessful (you were ashamed to admit that you even took an extra lap one morning in hopes of catching a glimpse of any one of them) as the rest of your housemates, despite being placated that you weren’t the only one obsessed with finding more about your secretive neighbors.

“Y/N?” Chaeyoung came bounding into your shared room, her orange hair askew beneath a large tacky trucker’s cap that advertised ‘Pizza Palace’ in a fading red font across the yellowing white fabric. You tore your attention away from the bright screen of your laptop, a little disoriented from writing an essay, and took in your roommate’s appearance in completely. With her cheeks flushed and her chest rising and dropping in unsteady intervals, you immediately jumped off the bed and led her to her own.

“Hey, you alright? What happened?” Your mind instantly jumped to the worst-case scenarios, kickstarting your anxious heart as you waited for Chaeyoung to fill you in.

“I’m fine,” she wheezed, trying her best to catch her breathe as she removed her cap to place on your head. “I need you to do me a favor. Can you fill in the rest of my hours for tonight at the pizza place a few streets away? I got an email from my TA reminding me of my paper that’s due tonight, which I completely forgot about so I-”

“Hold on, slow down, Chae… slow down. Don’t tell me you just ditched your shift! Did you tell your boss at least?”

“I did, but I need you to cover for me.”

You scooted backwards to shoot her the most incredulous look. “Chae, I don’t even work there! How am I supposed to cover your shift?”

“You’re not making any pizza,” she hurriedly answered. “Just deliveries! Please, please, please!”

No matter how long you’ve lived with Chaeyoung, you just didn’t seem to have the kind of immunity against her pitiful expressions you thought you might’ve acquired by now. “Oh, fine. Give me the stupid hat.”

It must’ve been a regular occurrence for random strangers in employee gear to show up at the pizza parlor because Chaeyoung’s supervisor didn’t bat an eye when you arrived behind the counter in her uniform. Your own hair was pulled into a messy knot at the nape of your neck, loose strands of hair framing your face as you pushed up the large cap up to properly keep eye contact.

“Here are the orders, here are the addresses, and here’s the keys to the pizza car. Not a scratch,” she ordered firmly before sending you on your way. Once you found the designated vehicle, you scoffed as you remembered her last piece of instruction.

A scratch would’ve actually been an improvement with how shitty the car’s state was.

The first few addresses were simple enough; the entire area was mostly separate houses rather than confusing apartment complexes, making your temporary job much more easier. The list of orders began to decrease and the monstrous amount of boxes in the backseat disappeared one by one with each stop. Reaching the end of the list, your heart nearly dropped to your chest once you recognized the address.

It was the house across the street.

“When’s the pizza coming?” Yeri’s whining echoed throughout the spacious house as she lounged on one of the chaises in the sitting room, a picture of relaxation as she fiddled with a pistol crossbow. Irene wrinkled her nose at the mess she caused when she passed by. Stray arrows scattered the area around the youngest as grease-stained rags laid upon her mahogany tables where the tools were placed on.

“Soon.” It was Wendy who answered from her position by the window seat at the east side of the house once she noticed the displeased look on the eldest’s features. It’s been a couple months since their last ‘order’ and whenever Irene hasn’t had her appetite filled, she became cranky enough that Seulgi and Joy would retreat to their room until her ‘hangry’ phase subsides. “Be patient. It should be here any moment.”

Although they barely entertained any guests, the five women were dressed in their finest. It was a bland Thursday evening but with the high-end cocktail dresses that adorned their ideal figures, you’d think they’d be off to attend some VVIP, private gala in the city. Irene was dressed in a sequined long sleeve dress with bloody red heels. Yeri kept things simple with a crochet dress and flats while Seulgi chose a lace blouse and leather pants. Joy loved her little black dresses that accentuated her curves. Wendy opted for a vintage velvet blouse and leather skirt.

Despite their oddly fancy attire, it blended well with the artistic pieces carefully placed around their home. Irene had picked up art curating as a new hobby, a way to pass the time as they juggled their unorthodox lives.

Right when Seulgi finally slid down the tall flight of stairs by the banister, the doorbell chimed around their house. “Dinner time,” she hummed as a devilish grin crossed her scarlet lips. She stepped aside and retreated to the living room with Joy at her tail when Yeri bounded up to open the door with a grotesque teddy bear tucked in the crook of her arm. As her hand reached for the doorknob, an adorable expression settled upon her visage as she prepared herself to come face to face with another pizza boy.

The door swung open and her practiced smile was what greeted you… only for it to fall in surprise only seconds later when Yeri realized you weren’t a pizza boy.

“For… Yeri?” You read the post-it note on the top of the box as you stretched your arms out to hand the pizza over. “That’ll be fifteen-”

“Excuse me,” the pretty girl cut you off before she slammed the door in your face.

“Wait… repeat that again. They just took the pizza and paid you…?”

Your swung your legs as you sat on the counter, munching on a leftover pizza as you nodded. The closing crew had asked you to retell the story for the tenth time now but you didn’t really mind repeating it, not when you had a slice of pizza in your hand. Although it was a good half hour since you’ve finished the rest of Chae’s shift, you’ve befriended her coworkers when they realized you made a stop at Hell House (a funny little nickname they dubbed the creepy place). While you sat on the counter, the four others had grabbed chairs to circle around you with their own late dinners in hand.

“Yeah, they seemed a little confused but that’s it,” you answered patiently, nibbling at the crust as the youngest coworker tentatively raised his hand.

“Really?” Mark asked, dropping his hand with a little bashful chuckle. “That’s it?”

You nodded and they all finally dispersed, somewhat content with the first witness story of the odd happenings in hell house. “Really. That’s it.

Yes, that was it… and the slip of paper that held the pretty girl’s number in your pocket.

Hi hello there I've been tagged by my good pal @pepperminthiya to talk about 10 biases, so enjoy me ranting about my faves because I never do that..... anyway onto the love 😎 I’ve been putting off finishing this bc I lowkey expose myself but sure here we are......

1) Taehyung - BTS

One of my ultimate baes, I really do adore him a lot. He’s so positive, friendly, and bubbly, big lov. I need a minute to talk about his vocal range, because fam it’s very impressive (i’m a music person, i’m in the know) and he has this beautiful, rich voice and I just *clutches heart* love it. I need to talk about stage presence because onstage tae and off stage are different people I swear (esp during Blood Sweat and Tears, that stage where he had the fake scars on his back omllllllllll) and he’s so charismatic!! Big love. Also, he’s adorable! Oh my god so soft and fluffy which makes my heart go w h o o s h, but will also!!! come for my life !!! (y’all saw the dispatch photos I was unable to cope).

2) Hoseok - BTS 

Okay listen. I have been bias wrecked by j-hope for so long that i’m just lying to myself if I don’t bias him at this point. I've been biased the whole time and just never said so.....I really do love him with all my heart, he’s so full of life and energetic, is always picking people up when they’re down and just a genuine good person. Hope World really shook me to my core, the lyrics and everything about it really reached out to me but I loved him so much even beforehand. He’s so talented in so many ways and is super charismatic as well, big big love. Also there’s something about the tonality of his voice as well??? I don’t know how to properly describe it but the whole kinda baritone/raspy thing he has going on ??? oof

3) Irene - Red Velvet

Right okay so I just a minute because i’m so incredibly snatched by Irene, I mean her surname is Bae!!! Meant to be. I love her because aside from being incredibly stunning (how is one person allowed to be that gorgeous omg) she’s so dorky and cute too? Like in her own kind of quieter way but she can be vvv serious, Mama Irene the Ironing Cooking Queen but also silly and funny too. Of late she has been so down for raising up women which I am all about! I only stan intellectuals after all!

4) JiU - Dreamcatcher

 This girl, let me tell you. She may the “fake maknae” type, but she is a powerful woman. Can rock literally every hair colour without trying, can be good at any concept without even trying and she just amazes me. She’s so dorky and weird omg???? Like talks about such weird things and behaves like a toddler on a sugar high but is also a slaying queen??? I am unable to cope, I love her so much. Her vocals are kind of honey-like and really sweet which just makes me ;_; Also she loves the colour pink more than life itself and it’s so cute asjakls

5) Jun - Seventeen

OOoooooooooookay. Where to begin with the vampire meme prince of China??? (I won’t stop talking about his vampire web drama you can’t make me mom). I’m so affected by his presence it’s embarrassing. He’s too powerful and actually damages my general stability in life. So powerful that I abandoned Hoshi for him...(I was always biased though, I was out there watching his web drama calling myself a hoshi stan dasjdalkjds). He embodies “duality of man” so much I get whiplash from him smh... Can be so present on stage and such a character but is a soft baby too??? He makes his little puns (lest we forget ajun nice) and cares for the other members so much and is really really soft. Can be the cutest patoot in the whole world but also the most dangerous man ??? in the space of 00000.2 seconds ?? idk man i’m never okay when he’s out there being himself...

6) Youngjae - GOT7

*inhales* hoooooooooo well. I have lots and lots and lots of love for JYP’s resident otter. He just embodies a ray of sunshine and is so bright and bubbly and his laugh adds 2 years to my life!! Although I really love his more expressive side too when he releases his emo songs at 3am and remember it got leaked that he has tattoos????? oh my god. I could go on forever about my love for him because in all honesty he’s very close (if not basically) my ideal type. I’ve talked with some of my close friends about this and we’re vvv similar so idk that makes me all gooey and cringey to think about it ((cringe culture can fight me)) but yeah. I think that says everything I need to say tbh...

7) Dahyun - Twice

There is just something in the water at JYP because I adore Dahyun with every fibre of my being. A soft memey bean who had so much love to give but is so loved too which makes me so happy <3 I’m calling it now but she’s gonna be a hecking good mc on something one day, something funny like weekly idol (or whatever the new version will be.. rip honestly) where her true Comedic Queen self can shine! She makes some hella good jokes and never fails to make everyone laugh when she’s on a variety show etc. Her personality is so likeable and she’s just so friendly!!! ((this seems to be a theme... hmm)) 

8) Kihyun - Monsta x 

mmmmmmmMMMMMMMMMM oh my goodness gracious i’m so affected by kihyun it’s horrific. ((not as much as jun but close)). I always seem to be stanning these “duality” types whereby they’re so soft and fluffy one minute but attacc my whole life the next. Kihyun is such a dangerous man on stage, and is so stunning like his visuals are no joke but is also a soft bean??? Kihyun just kills me, like his vocals are A+++ and any high/ power note sends me to the grave. He’s also too savage for me, which isn’t my usual type but a lot of the time it’s really funny... oops.... 

9) Nayoung - Pristin/ IOI

Idk man there’s something about Nayoung that just gets to me? She was known as “stone nayoung” during pd101 for being so serious/ shy and I understand bc I’m too serious sometimes too lmao but she’s also really sweet! She will protecc pristin with her life and makes such weird jokes as well lmao. She too is super powerful, rapping her way into my heart. A queen

10) Doyoung/Jaehyun - NCT

Okay i’m cheating a little bit here BUT they are both in NCT but anyways... I love them a looooooooot, doyoung is such a bean but will fite u for not picking up your socks off the floor. He’s such a little fluff but will come for my life ((Esp 7th sense hooo that was a time) and he’s such a good mc! Vroom Vroom Talk Show paid off :D ((fight me it was fantastic))

But then there’s jeff. He’s such a meme ((which i’m too weak for save me)), but also such a bean?? The cutest fluff but needs milk but will also fuck me up ?? I can’t handle how fast his personality changes between on stage/off stage/ general existence.... He’s so adorable but really fucks with my sanity sometimes and I h9 him but will fite anyone to protect him. Idk what to tell you fam I just love jeff too much.

Hooooo that was a journey but here we are! Also, this isn’t in any particular order because I have so much love to give, and wish I could include more biases but you can just keep an eye on my posts for that :P

Ok imma add more cuz I ranted on discord about this quite pointlessly (I was on the toilet this is toilet activism) about my own ocs and how a weird amount of thought went into their skin colour and I went actually insane and made like, diagrams with colours. Why did I do this.

So imma just use my ocs as an example of how skin is a part of a colour pallet to me and that I put a weird amount of thought into it. And colours. I don’t like to just smack colours on anymore I want them to be yummy, and edible

I’m in no way a colour or character design professional I’m in highschool making characters on my iPad I just find this stuff fun

And I like 100% would make that click to expand the post thing but I am a teenager on an iPad so yeah

Let’s start with candy lmao

She has a bright colour pallet, because her name is Candy Floss, rlly has become a self insert oc and like, her darker skin tone was 100% a design choice. I am not sure about this design choice for my “cookie sona” because she’s become quite black coded esp with her hair and I am not black and just have curly hair and I know how people could take this but I’m just going to smack my head on the table because she’s part funky character part me and they’re pretty exclusive from each other and yeah I don’t know where I’m going with this

Anyways her pallet was a very conscious choice. I tried to make the blue and the pink the main alternating colours. There’s way too much of the light red and yellow on her in big blocks but honestly I don’t want to go through the trouble of redesigning her unless I get a character design degree or something crazy so she’s staying like this. The blue and the pink are pretty obvious why they’re integral because those are the cotton candy colours. Yes I called her candy floss cookie because there was already a cotton candy cookie. Yes I wanted to make a cotton candy cookie with blue and saw the canon one was only pink. Be glad I didn’t call her the French name for it.

Anyways there’s a kinda big theme I tried to go with in her design of alternating colours between halves because that’s a little chaotic because it’s an asymmetrical design while keeping it pleasing to the eye and makes you think jesterrrr yes she was made like a week before ice juggler was announced. But the thing was with her face, I didn’t want to continue the bilateral thing on there because that would be SO busy and the skin would be a good place to pause on that. I made it purple because it’s kinda a mix of blue and pink so it doesn’t stand out too much (and tries to make the blue and pinky colour stand out more than those warmer pastel ones grr) and darker so those lighter face markings pop out that much more! I am proud of this! I feel smart about this! She’s the right amount of bright and satisfying to the eye!

This is Blueberry Grunt Cookie. Hes her brother because yes. He also has a darker skin tone. I did not go the same way with candy of having a different colour that’s a mix of two prevalent ones or whatever because he’s a different character yadda yadda

His main colours, and like only colours, are blue and that lighter yellowy peach. I even make his whites blue. Because Blueberry grunt is this thing with blueberries and this dough stuff I have no idea. My dad calls them dumplings but they’re literally not fuckin dumplings they’re wads of dough plopped into hot ass blueberry guts- back to the point back to the point

Hes got a more rounded and soft pallet in my opinion, with that thing with the simular colours and one complimentary colour except yellow isn’t complimentary to blue and that makes it a tiny bit more well rounded ig? Is that what you call it? I actually love his colours a lot. But like, the purpose of his skin is more to make that difference between the blue, and less of the yellow. It makes him more blue than yellow. This is essential. The light blue is also a bit more contrasty because of how light it is, it brings attention to his eyes. I’m so cool. Look at me. I’m pretty sure that like most if not all of his colours were picked from a few images from Google of the grunt tm

Ik ik crushed blueberries are like purple it makes me angry too, but hes a cartoon and hes blueberries let him be blue he wanted to be blue as a kid. Oh no my brain just reminded me of odd internet things we are moving on.

Anyways he is blue. The darker blue than the hair and stuff is because I wanted it to look a tiny tiny bit more natural and make it obvious they’re not the same colour and idk my exact thought process now it was a while ago and i have terrible memory but

And I do have whiter characters too! There’s tons of characters with lighter skin! It would make me so mad! It would throw off the balances I worked to make! And it would make me angry because the pallet looks odd!

And if this makes you want to draw them white then go ahead just tag me so I can laugh or reblog it with it because ik someone would want to because the internet is like that but I’d get an example to show because I don’t want to edit stuff since it’s past midnight and I’m in bed writing a rant about COOKIE SKIN

Absolutely hilarious when someone draws a cookie in an anime style and all of the colours are accurate except the skin which is like close to white and it throws off the whole colour scheme

I care more about the colour scheme because I guess someone could sob and cry and make a “thew juwst cwookwies” argument even tho they’re pretty racially coded and you’re just making them all white because you don’t wanna learn how to draw poc but it literally looks so bad it throws everything off I’m

Yeah I make like Bbg blue as hell but if I gave him an actual skin tone he’d look bad
