A: Aphrodisiac (What encourages or entices them to make a move?)

Archibald is the type of man to wait for the person he's interested in to express interest in him. If they don't express explicit interest, he will use gentle touches such as "coincidentally" touching their hand or prolonged eye contact to try to make his move without using his words. He's also the type to want to spend as much time as he can with someone he is interested, finding their presence like a drug.

E: Experimenting (Trying something new)

Okay, so in the Fallen London universe, there is something called Prisoner's Honey which transports the mind of the user into a dreamlike state. I think that this is something both Archibald and Likely would want to use in order to try intimacy in the realm of dreams as it is stated by the bohemian faction that it heightens experiences. Also due to Archibald being in his fifties, he probably thinks the honey will help his performance LMAO

J: Jealous (“Claiming” a partner)

Archibald would be the type to lay claim to his lover with physical gifts like necklaces or rings, especially any that include his initials. For example, such as old rings that would have both lovers' names engraved on the inside.

He trusts Likely to not break his trust of her, but he would still give her little gifts to make it obvious to outsiders that she has a sweetheart.

K: Kitchen (Describe a sex scene in the kitchen)

This is likely to take place before they have their son (or if their son is out with his nanny). If he came into the kitchen while she was preparing a meal, it would start with him being handsy: his hands on her waist, kissing her neck as she worked, whispering sweet nothings into her ear.

If she is receptive, I imagine it would end with him pressing her against the counter, fingers in her mouth and working as hard as his old man self can work. 😂

so a couple weeks ago I decided that my Rook in Veilguard was going to be a little girl who grew up in the Denerim Alienage and remembered Tabris from when she was a little kid and looked up to her. And I decided to replay the female City Elf origin since it'd been six years Y'ALL THERE ARE A LITTLE BOY AND GIRL PLAYING IN AN ALLEY. AND YOU CAN INTERRUPT THEIR GAME AND TELL THEM A STORY OF A HEROIC ELF AND IF THE KIDS BUY IT THEY GET SO EXCITED AT A STORY OF A HEROIC ELF.

Y'ALL this little girl is absolutely, positively, my Rook.

YOU CAN ALSO TELL HER (and the boy with her) THAT A ROGUE HERO TOOK FROM THE RICH (ie nobles and leaders) TO HELP THE POOR, AND THAT WHEN THE TIME CAME, SHE TURNED HERSELF IN IN ORDER TO HELP PEOPLE AGAIN.

That is QUITE LITERALLY Warden Rook's backstory minus darkspawn. Rook helped people, nobles and Warden brass got really REALLY mad about it, Rook stood in account but also stood proud and defiant.

I swear to the Maker I didn't KNOW about the kids when I planned this out but WOW WOW WOW.

lbr if you're playing as an Aeducan Warden who's attracted to men (or to a lesser extent, Brosca), Oghren is probably the dwarven equivalent of one of those celebrities who is not aging well and is a general nightmare to be around but he's still kind of attractive in a deeply problematic way and you're very Conflicted™ about it because you had a ye olde poster of him on your wall when you were twelve that you practiced kissing on but you can never admit any of that to the party because you'd literally die of embarrassment on the fucking spot, leaving Alistair in charge, and the Blight would overrun all of Thedas.

Nobody asked, but I saw a few people having issues running Dragon Age: Origins on PC. This usually occurs after playing for a while, then it suddenly crashes. Now, I don't know if this will help everyone, but I do remember it helping me (it was a RAM-related issue).

something fun i like thinking about with my wardens is the time they spend in-between the origin story ending and them arriving at ostagar. all of that time alone with duncan, when some are crossing all the way across fereldan to get to ostagar. if travel across lake calenhad is canonically a day's worth of time, then surely it must be a week or two's worth of travel, likely even longer, just for most of the wardens to even get to ostagar after being conscripted. what do they think about during this time? do they try to run? are they numb to it? how do they feel about duncan? much to think about
