Im gonna be so blunt, I did not like this at all. I do not like this. Esp the fact its trad not dig and u cant see a single detail

ANYWAYS putting that past me for the people who do like it and want more yapping about it: Day two, Burning, Nyx. The whole reason I chose her for this was because it fit her story so well, not exactly but really close; she was struck by lighting and her scales turned black but this is her before her villain arc and emo scales or whatever (I love my ocs from four years ago that I have not touched since last month and are actually really wild yk?)

I don't actually remember much about her except one of her two kids name and that she was a black Icewing who was cursed and stuck to the present Icewing princess fsr.

AND on top of it all and maybe why i do not like it so much is the fact I used water-based pens (probably. i think. they bleed everywhere its so bad, so im assuming) and i hate them with such a burning passion

The more I think about the Feysand pregnancy arc in acosf the more annoyed I get. It's not about them wanting a child, it's about the plotholes and all the made up bs that resulted in this totally unnecessary drama.

So the main issue was that the baby had wings despite being quarter Illyrian because Feyre shapeshifted during their sexy time. But in acomaf when she starts to learn how to fly, she shapefshifts her wings based on the batboys wings - how in the earth did she alter her whole anatomy to be of an Illyrian woman?? If the pelvis was an issue Rhys probably knew (and Feyre too apparently if she changed herself), why didn't they discussed it beforehand like responsible adults? They were actively trying for a baby at that point, why did noone think about this could be an issue (even if the baby is only quarter Illyrian)? Rhys could have said something like 'hey darling, you know there are risks if the baby has wings since you don't have the anatomy of Illyrian women, maybe we should cut it out with the wingsex for a while'? For me, this is the biggest plothole in the whole narrative of this arc.

You tell me that in a world where they could heal Azriel who had a poisoned arrow shot right in his heart, regrow Cassian's wings that were shredded to pieces, heal Cassian from a would that was so deep his guts were hanging out, they could never in their 20.000+ year history perform a successful C-section? How is this even justified?

Feysand having a baby at a time when their continent is on the verge of war again combined with their stupid bargain results in two things: They either put themselves in the backburner and sit out every conflict for the next at least 18 years which would be interesting since they are High Lord and High Lady, or they risk their kid being orphaned.... Again, like...... ???

The whole birth drama totally undermined the fact that Nesta, Gwyn and Emerie made actual history (esp. Gwyn and Emerie!). They won the Blood Rite and everyone was like 'oh well, AnYwAyy the BABY'. Please...

I don't even want to mention how Rhys dealt with this whole situation and then blamed it on Nesta when it blew up in his face, I think that was discussed a lot

Whew sorry for this rant, it's just the obvious and unnecessary bs-ness of this arc annoys me so much. Feysand just could have had their baby in piece, or at least sjm could have made up some fake magic-science to justify things better, because for me it really did not hit the spot.

What are your thoughts on this?

Absolutely agree with all of this!

I feel like "they were stupid" isn't a good excuse to fix the plot holes in what sjm worked really hard to show was a communicative, equal partnership/romance.

The way the fandom was STRESSING over Cassian's wings post-acomaf though, I laugh at us now. As if Miss Sarah J "handwaves it away" Maas was actually going to have him suffer long-term effects from that.

IMO, the entire pregnancy plot was SJM's way of creating reconciliation between Nesta and Feyre. That's it. Nesta saving Feyre (and by extension Rhys and Nyx) sidestepped any of the tough conversations that needed to be hand. It was so inorganic to... everything we know about Rhys, and Feyre, the IC, the magic of the world, it was inconsistent with what other characters have been through physically. But hey! It made Feyre and Nesta feel better about all the years of conflict and resentment, so whatever.

Okay and the bargain lmaooooo I argued back when acofas came out that the death bargain wasn't a big deal. I was like nah, it wasn't literal. But wow, what a way to inorganically sideline your former main characters in order to give your new main character an excuse to take center stage. Maybe if sjm hadn't made everyone so freaking overpowered all the time, then other characters besides Rhys (and now Feyre) would be able to help solve problems. But noooooo we gotta have an excuse for Rhys and Feyre to sit on their hands because otherwise, they are just Too Strong, the Strongest Ever, and because the magic is so freaking vague, now we need an excuse for Rhys to not be able to wave his hand and make problems go away like bits of lint.

I do wish that Feyre could have had a baby in peace, to not stress, to not be in danger, and most importantly, for her dumbass mate to have NOT kept that information from her. Feyre had been through enough already, just for sjm to be like "hm, how can I get these characters to not be mad at each other anymore without them actually talking like adults about it??" I understand that there needs to be conflict, there will be drama. But it didn't have to be like That. Conflict or the resolution of conflict, should not be built on a house of cards. It should feel natural to the world, the culture, characters, plot, etc.

Feysand used to be otp, and I still do like them a lot, just... pre-acosf. That book nearly ruined them for me, though.

I'm really interested to hear about your episode 11/12 CRK rewrite, do you mind explaining the plot? If it's too long to explain or smth, can you at least give some basic plot points/major changes?

[pls rb] It's a bit messy tbh since i never got into the nitty-gritty of the exact play by play events, but i had a lot of thoughts on how i would like to have restructured it / rewritten certain parts. its always bugged me how tonally distant the hb kingdom is from,,,, everything else in the main storyline, especially compared to pv and cacao's plotlines. one of the key things is that i took the mention pitaya burned down the kingdom at one point WAY more seriously than the plot does - as well as them 'taking over' the kingdom. i should note that they aren't nessacarily malicious, moreso trying to bait hollyberry out of hiding to fight them and going about it in the worst way possible. The timeline of cr is so messy and conflicting [esp now with the implication roguefort was very young when their family died in the ob christmas event and they died in my fanon BECAUSE of the pitaya attack but i had other stuff before that that said it was only like 6-7 years ago but. AUGH. WHATEVER]. TLDR the hollyberry kingdom has rebuilt but they're still kinda a mess and slowly losing faith in the royal family and turning to the great houses - leading to a setup similar to the princess contest [i think the 'princess contest' is stupid as hell, like, especially when princess herself shows up for it but it 'must go on'].

TO SUMMARIZE SOME THINGS. For my fanon in general i've kicked gingerbrave and co out of the main plotline - nothing against them, but persoanlly them being shoved into every plotline makes their narratives suffer drastically [at least in my fanon] . i've weighed the thought of either rasp or princess being the main protagonist but like . princess probably makes more sense im just HEAVILY biased towards rasp. Background stuff thats important to the characters -rasp has been staying in the cookie kingdom for a while and becoming dissalussioned with her house and hollyberry kingdom as she spends time away from the suffocating enviorment and begins falling in love with parfait - but cant commit because she can't be in love with a commoner under her house's watch. puts off going home until a carriage shows up asking her to come back to the kigndom for the contest. Is not havign a good time and only gets more and more upset as the plot goes on - batflower [oc of mine] was a heiress, but lost her manor in the pitaya attack. she's a power-obsessed asshole who does Not value people unless they contribute to her amusement or game. Is a literal fucking serial killer! - uhhhh i wanted to do more with tiger lily but the brainrot was never there. i think it would be sillly if part of the reason she went missing was related to hollyberry's dissapearance - i also kicked out the cookies of darkness not because they're irrelevant or completely gone i just liked using batflower and pitaya as the villians wayy more. they might be around but probably serving a more minor role - like how affogato is the main antagonist in chp 13/14 but theyre still around OKAY SO. It runs mostly the same but the one to poison their drinks is - suprise suprise - batflower ! nyx holds a lot of envy towards the remaining heiresses [especially rasp who is trying to walk away from the privlidge she'd been given that batflower so desprately wants back] and she spikes the heiresses' drinks with something similar as to what wizard/strawberry get in the original. And raspberry's already having her emotions run high and is pretty pissy and her and princess do Not Get Along so they start fighting before dueling [11-27 boss fight] - though it gets interupted by batflower showing herself, unfurling her wings and mocking them for falling right into her play. Yadda yadda drama stuff yadda yadda rasp falling even deeper into her want to leave her role because she sees the reflection of what it can do to people in batflower but also. THE GIRLS ARE FIGHTING [batflower replaces the 11-30 boss - it fits nyx well since its in a garden and nyx has plant magic it uses to make its poisons]. Once batflower is beat she retreats. Probably shows up later at minimum as an observer but i havent figured that out. Rest proceeds mostly as normal, with hollyberry showing up having realized how badly she failed her kingdom and what pitaya has done to it as 'ruler', and promptly beats their ass into next week and probably makes them do community service /LH. i wanted to do more to hb's characer arc and i DID mostly but im trying not to get too deep into the psychology of the events [as i often tend to do] and just tell it as it is. i think it would be cute if wildberry was with her [since she took him in while she was in hiding] and when its revealed shes the queen he gets promoted to her personal bodyguard. just thought that though idk a lot of this is loose Rasp at this point is done, goes home, gets in a fight with mousse and leaves the kingdom for good - though that probably wouldnt be featured in the plot. what WOULD be featured is a tiger lily reuinion with her family - i havent thought abt it much but it annoys me to NO FUCKING END that she is completely written off despite being LITERALLY *the missing princess*. And they do nothing with her besides jungleberry offhandedly remarking "oh that might be her,,," like GIRL YOURE NOT GONNA ?? INVESTIGATE ??? i think thats it . i might be forgetting something but whatever.

Also I love ur writing, could I request a agatha x reader pls where reader is a normal person but is obsessed with everything medieval bit especially witches and all about the Salem witch trials and stuff. Then one day agatha sees reader saying about how much they love witchy stuff and it just makes agatha really happy cause she's always been ridiculed about her magic and had people killing her kind cause of their use of magic so it just feels really nice to have someone be excited by it. Then maybe she meets them and becomes friends with r (and may or may not have a crush on r) and r always talks about her love for witchy stuff and how she really wants to see a real one and hopes some are still alive then one day agatha shows r her magic and tells her its still evil and stuff but r is jsut so amazed and so inspired by all agathas been through then maybe tehy kiss or confront their feelings for each other sorta things. Basically lots of fluff please. I really hope u can do this but np of not, I live for ur writing, its so great

Agatha put on a smile so big that her cheeks ached as she walked up to Wanda and Vision’s house, settling once again into her role as Agnes, the unusual couple’s nosy neighbor. With her role, she didn’t bother to knock, for it was in Agnes’ nature to just walk in, unannounced, the situation fitting perfectly for her arrival. This time, she knew beforehand of the mess she was getting into, for she had used a spell to peek into Wanda’s mind the other day and see what she had planned for all the townspeople the next. 

Agatha couldn’t deny that she was intrigued by today’s agenda. She already knew that Y/F/N Y/F/L/N was already sitting inside, chatting with Vision, and that with “Agnes”’ arrival, It would cause Wanda to go and get a brunch set up for the four of them to enjoy. The spell had worn off before Agatha was able to see why Wanda was having Y/F/N over, but she assumed Wanda wanted to have another friend. 

Reaching the house, Agatha turned the doorknob - convenient that the door was unlocked - and stepped right inside, announcing her presence with a cheery and loud, “Good afternoon, Mr. and Mrs. Maximoff!” 

Immediately Wanda turned around, a dramatized surprised expression on her face, soon replacing it with a big smile. “Agnes! I’m so glad you’re here. Y/F/N was just catching Vision and I up on how she’s doing. How ‘bout you join them and I can go prepare brunch?” She rambled all in one breath. 

Agatha nodded, her smile plastered on her face. As Wanda excitedly went to the kitchen, Agatha gracefully sat down next to Y/F/N on the couch, who had been engaging in a conversation with Vision, as he was sitting across from her in a chair. She gave Y/F/N a small smile and a bigger one to Vision, introducing herself before letting Y/F/N continue. 

“Well, I was just telling Vision how obsessed I am with the Salem Witch trials! I just find that time period so fascinating, especially when you think about how much society has grown - from their readiness to kill women based on accusations of being ‘witches’ - to not believing in the concept of magic at all!” Y/N said, and Agatha quickly covered her surprise - and excitement - before it could manifest itself on her face. 

She had never seen anyone besides boring old historians that animated about the Salem Witch trials or witches, and she felt a little spark of being special whiz around her. It felt so refreshing to hear someone speaking about witches positively, not in fear or disgust, and it calmed a sort of bitterness that had been brewing for years inside Agatha, relaxing her. She almost forgot she was acting in a play, and when she got a good look at Y/F/N, reality came rushing back because damn, Agatha was enchanted by her. Her beauty, her charm, everything about her was stunning. She felt like she was flying, and Vision’s voice brought her floating to the ground, coming down on a hot air balloon. 

“Do you believe in magic?” He asked Y/F/N, seeming to be genuinely interested in her thoughts, stroking his chin with his hand as he leaned forward. 

Y/F/N thought for a moment, and Agatha found herself on the edge of her seat, tapping the sofa’s cushions rhythmically, almost needing to hear the answer. Oh, god, the witch was falling for this woman fast. “I definitely believe that it’s possible. With all the stories, all the history, everything . . . I’ve never seen it myself, though. However I really do love researching about it,” she admitted. 

Agatha smirked. She loved that little insight into Y/F/N’s mind - how she considered both sides - having not seen it herself but taking in the evidence of the world around her. Agatha respected that Y/N truly enjoyed magic and witches but was also a little precautious. While most may say she might not be true to her passion if she didn’t believe in the existence of witches and magic, Agatha would argue that while that argument held a valid point, taking precaution and understanding the skepticism kept her grounded and gave her an ability to really test her belief and those who challenged it. It didn’t make Y/F/N any less interested or devoted to the art of magic and to witches. 

That was when she jumped into the conversation, and by the time Wanda had finished preparing lunch, Agatha and Y/F/N had formed a solid friendship that would only continue to form itself in the next couple days. Y/F/N mostly talked about all things witch-related, and Agatha couldn’t get enough of it. She found her crush growing rapidly like a beanstalk sprouting into the air from a couple beans, and finally she decided to tell Y/F/N the truth. Although, the lines between wanting to do this from a logistic standpoint or doing it because she liked Y/N were beginning to blur, though the brunette ignored it.

She told Y/F/N she just wanted to have her over to her house and when Y/F/N arrived, Agatha sat her down on her couch and gave her a smile, barely able to contain her nerves from radiating and bubbling around her. “Y/F/N, I wanted to tell you something,” Agatha said, her voice a bit shaky. If Y/F/N noticed, she didn’t say anything, for she just nodded with a bright smile. 

Agatha took a deep breath before getting up and disappearing, only to quickly return with an old yet cleaned leather-bound book. She sat down on the couch again and smiled at Y/F/N before carefully opening it up. “This, Y/F/N, is a spell book,” she said, letting Y/F/N see the aged parchment, it’s ink faded and stained. 

Y/F/N looked at the spell book, her hungry gaze eating up all the contents of this new item, before casting a skeptical gaze at Agatha. “What do you mean?” She asked, thinking that maybe this was an artifact of some sort.

Agatha smiled. “Magic is real, Y/F/N,” she revealed, and to prove her point, she conjured her purple swirl of Magic and power in her hand.

Y/N’s eyes widened and she became immediately captivated by it, as if she was watching a light show. Her eyes followed it and Agatha found herself wanting to summon more Magic just to see the beautiful and awe’d look in her eyes.

Y/F/N eventually snapped out of it, beginning to feel light header from this sudden realization but not really caring. “Wow,” she breathed. “I-I don’t know what to think! It’s real!”

Agatha chuckled softly. “Yes, it is,” she confirmed. “But — I do have to tell you that Magic is often seen as evil and some might even view me as evil.”

Y/N shook her head. “How can something and someone so beautiful be evil?” The words slipped out before she could stop herself . . . In any other instance Y/F/N would try to cover herself, embarrassed with what she just admitted, but with Agatha it was different. Agatha was calming, soothing, Y/F/N felt comfortable with her, and it helped that Agatha wasn’t seemed to like what she had said.

“I feel the same way about you, though I’m sure you’re not evil,” Agatha murmured, and then, adrenaline pumping through her since revealing to someone she had magic had never gone so well before, she leaned forward.

Y/F/N smiled and met her halfway and they captured each other’s lips in a wonderful and magical-like kiss, only pulling back and giggling when they needed some air.

i agree that acosf could have been written better. but you have to give credit for the way it was written, it wasn't blatant because that's not how nesta is. the majority of the book we hear nesta's THOUGHTS, her guilt, her rage, her fury for HERSELF. for being a coward. for choosing to make the wrong decisions and be consumed by her emotions. the fact that she was GUILTY and she TRIED to make amends for it.

to me, it was just so human. like you know you were wrong especially towards your own family and you don't know how to apologize for things that happened way way back but that mistake is buried deep in your bones and you don't know how to forgive yourself? she struggled with speaking about it so she tried through other ways like trying to use her power to protect these people like finding the mask (even if it scared the shit out of her). man how the fuck do you not empathize with that?

let's not forget the fact that these siblings are not the sisters they CHOSE. ever heard of the saying sisters by blood best friends by choice? yeah, they're not like that. so being vocal isn't exactly their thing. WHICH IS WHY you can't expect it to happen instantly. it took TIME (just like what Cassian said, Nesta will talk about it when she's ready esp with all the pain she caused Feyre) and the time they have still isn't enough, but they are SIBLINGS. so not EVERYTHING must be directly said.

saying i love you to feyre was a pivotal mark for her character development:

again, yes, i agree acosf could have been written better but nesta has a home now. to everyone saying why did maas choose to give nesta new friends than heal her relationship with her sisters... i don't think we read the same book? gwyn and emerie were a needed element for nesta to see her worth beyond her mistakes. they were instruments for her to see how to actually show love for her sisters, not just the way she saw and felt it from her mother.

i guess i just wrote this post because i don't get the hate nesta gets after reading acosf. i see posts about how unforgivable it is for characters who are mean to their siblings and at one point i received a comment that nesta saving feyre (rhys and nyx) from her death was the LEAST she could do,,, and i think that speaks volumes about how people want change immediately? or revenge? or people suffering just as much as they did? or prejudice runs really deep? man, i don't know. people forget that they are siblings, and idk i can't speak for everyone but if you have one you know that they can be the most horrible human being and yet at the back of your mind you want them to be okay. and i think that showed in acosf even if it could have been written better.

elain and feyre forgave nesta and they have a long way to go. cassian was there for her (even if he could have defended her more) and nesta carried herself all throughout. i hope if you're a nesta deep down, you climb your own mountain and be able to forgive yourself, i hope you find love just as she did.

honestly, you kind of parroted my EXACT thoughts on it in your ask answer!! i totally agree with everything you said. i have never liked roguelikes but hades is The Exception. it is so easy to just. sink hours and hours into it. all the characters are so loveable (and so well designed!) and zag is. so good. i love the him <3

shield has always been my favorite as well! i got to credits only breaking out with the shield lol. i eventually got good enough to break out with everything else at least once, but shield is definitely my go-to. my favorite hammer on it is undoubtedly the bull rush. i’ve gotten really good at timing it correctly :) my runner up is probably the gloves or the gun tho! (ngl the gun still cracks me up. hestia, goddess of the hearth, has a gun. what will she do)

as for favorite boons…… it depends on the weapon but i always like ares’ doom + all of artemis’ boons. esp the support fire one that gives you little arrows every time you hit!

also i think my favorite god character-wise is probably artemis. i just find her very endearing. also her and callisto are like definitely girlfriends i don’t make the rules

i have gotten to the credits + the epilogue but i haven’t quite 100%ed it yet, both by achievements and stories (and fish). i haven’t reunited achilles and patroclus yet, (I AM REALLY CLOSE THOUGH!! I JUST NEED IT TO SHOW UP IN THE CONTRACT) and there are a couple storylines within the house that i haven’t seen the end of. the good news is that even after 100 hours i am nowhere near close to getting bored with it :P

+ YEAH. THEY ARE NARUMITSU. ITS UNCANNY. also i just. love all the romance routes so much. gah the writing in this game is So Good

Tldr: They are about to go ape shit in every possible sense of the word.

To be completely honest with you, the day he found out the news, he was going to find a way to safely get Cypress King somewhere (preferably back with the group) before returning back to face the Asshole (tm) and commit murder and find a way to get Chan out. They were fully aware that it could probably mean their death (both in the literal and metaphorical sense of deceased and/or becoming a mindless thrall) and in a very fitting quote was like "I was born screaming and covered in someone else's blood, I don't mind going out the same way" mentality, esp considering how the only reason why he kept traveling around was in search of their their family again and to see and hug them before vanishing again as they knew because of being a fairly popular mercenary put targets on the backs of those they held dear.

Of course this whole plan changed when Nyx appeared into the picture. And then what happened with the Raven Queen was his sort of a reason to stay with the group, kind of an obligation cause if Nyx was going to go through whatever it was, it was probably going to be hell and they're not going to be one to not help someone go through that. And being a dumbass (tm), they're putting the needs of everyone else before their own needs.

Um let's see, when he found Chan was alive, they felt a small amount of relief as yay their friend was alive cause there was going to be hell to pay if there wasn't. They lost two people (assuming that our dear friend Justine has also probably passed) and they weren't about to lose a third. They still to talk about the whole thing with Chan.

They also haven't been super trusting of people or what their own eyes see as of late, especially considering how everything has gone down. They already were super distrusting of the group to begin with (part of the trade as they've had people backstab them before) and then with the hell portal opening up and the destruction that followed plus all these ghosts popping up with that destruction, they are feeling overwhelmed.

So the fact that this poly lesbian pirate ship popped up and went like hey we need extra help to bust our capitan and first mate from prison, Ecstal is taking this time to put all of his anger and rage into this. In a slightly sadistic sense, they want everyone else to feel the fear and pain tenfold. Again the whole "I was born screaming and covered in someone else's blood, I don't mind going out the same way" mentality comes to mind as they're fighting with these guards, so its only a matter of time until we get some truly nasty shit going out of this. And the thing is is that he doesn't want to kill them no no no no killing them would be giving them mercy and they don't want that; they want them alive and to live with that nightmare.

Also, you might be wondering why else would Ecstal be helping? We'll they don't want someone else losing their sibling and they don't want others to be going through the emotions they are feeling.

31. Describe a scenario in which your character feels most comfortable.

Nyx: this is interesting bc i think nyx’s general idea of her and eris’ life and upbringing has been greatly upended and impacted by joining the delrose, adventuring with a goal, seeing a crew like xarus, thalia, casda, and riven that care about each other rather than the ones the twins have witnessed and been a part of that’d just as quickly throw you into the cloudsea for the right price. a few months ago it really would’ve been anywhere with eris by her side where she can count all the exits, but i think the bar has been raised? a long-winded way of saying i think nyx right now is generally a little uncomfortable everywhere because she’s adjusting to the idea that she and eris have had it really fucked up and have the chance to do things better and be more comfortable and have people to trust. ideally in the future her most comfortable scenario will be one where she does have more of a community than just eris to rely on bc that means it won’t just be the two of them desperately clawing at survival anymore. 

Nerida: i think as nerida has settled and had less to run/be afraid of since her childhood, meals have become very important to her (all that time running from her pissed elemental dad, family dinners were kinda exactly what she and her mom were trying to avoid), esp hosting or cooking for the party, any moment of respite in the keep when they’re all together in those anxious moments before an adventure, the triumphant buzz after a successful one, or just in some downtime sharing a meal equals “everything is good, and we’re safe in this moment. this is family, and we’re all here looking at each other and laughing and eating. look i made this for you and it’s meant to be consumed and bring you a bit of joy.” it’s that warmth of passing home-cooked dishes around the table <3

32. Describe a scenario in which your character feels most uncomfortable.

Nyx: at this point being alone makes nyx very uncomfortable because of how rocked her perception of her life and world is, and being alone means she really has to confront how she feels about what’s happening on her adventures and what she really wants out of life rather than just running onto the next thing without thinking

Nerida: as much wild, bitter, dangerous confidence as nerida puts into communicating with eldath. any interaction with their god certainly puts a pit in their stomach she’s trying to weigh down. 

39. Has your character ever been bitten by an animal? How were they affected (or unaffected)?

Nyx: you know the first thing nyx did when those pirates scooped her and eris up and took them to some big island city was chase some dogs around the street, and not knowing how to interact with animals but thinking they were really cute accidentally cornered them out of curiosity, leading to her getting bitten. i think when she was younger and didn’t understand why they’d done that she had a fear of them or thought they were all mean, but the absolute second she realized they felt threatened by her she felt so guilty she now always makes an effort to feed strays she might see in stopover cities

Nerida: animals have Tried and Failed to get through that plate babeyy, seriously though i don’t see nerida doing anything even accidentally to provoke an animal,, maybe an angry weasel or something she was trying to pet through a cage on an expedition with JV but they wouldn’t hold it against it

45. What does your character believe will happen to them after they die? Does this belief scare them?

Nyx: nyx doesn’t have any fully fledged thoughts on the afterlife or the gods in particular, nor does she really care about what might happen to her when she dies. what she does care about is every horrific sign prophetically pointing to her death throughout the campaign and the fact that she with the utmost confidence while shaking internally pinky promised her twin sister that she wasn’t going anywhere, and without nyx around she can’t make sure eris is safe (we love becoming a fighter 2 protect ur chaotic stupid bard sister until it’s Sad As Hell)

Nerida: OOOOOH BOY nerida has Zero clue what happens to a paladin who has been wish-spell tied to a goddess for about ten years, thus avoiding death many times over when they were actually supposed to go and now likely has a hit out on her from multiple deities of the death domain when they die, but it’ll sure be exciting. less of a “don’t care” and more of a “there’s really no way to know the answer to this complicated cosmological afterlife maze i’ve found myself in”,, wearing a “death deities want me. fish fear me” (bc she’s a water genasi askjgl) hat with a little kissy face at all times. she has genuinely made peace with the fact that she’s living on borrowed time though, and while they might be a little scared they know it’s probably good for the universe to be balanced or whatever.

1.  How do they fall asleep? Wake up? Any daily rituals?

Literally until like mid-stormblood they were living the “and there’s only one bed” trope asjkfnkjasf they’d both try to keep distance because they assumed it was awkward for the other but as it went on Ama ended up getting closer in her sleep much to her embarrassment.

But like, IN a relationship tho?? Can’t pry them apart. They fall asleep basically glued together. As for waking up, with few exceptions Ama is the first one to wake up because she’s the first one to fall asleep, she tries to keep her schedules to a T. Rituals though...Ama’s kind of plain when it comes to that, she likes goodnight kisses and she’ll always give a peck before she gets ready for the day even if Meti is knocked the hell out DJFKNJKFDNKJFD

2.  How’s their team work? Do they share well?

Tank/Healer power couple best power couple!!! They balance each other out in a lot of ways to where they work super well together in almost anything. It’s kinda like a cycle where Ama is super passive and tries to take everything on herself, so Meti’s the one who steps in to stand up for her or take the weight off her shoulders, but then Ama comes back around to make sure HE doesn’t take everything on or things get out of hand when they aren’t worth it. They get better at it together slowly bc of each other’s influence...

Do they celebrate holidays? Anniversaries?

Yes!!! Anniversaries esp they’re romantics they have to 🥺 I’ll go on more abt that in 18 but for holidays, Ama especially has a lot of holidays from home she still wants to celebrate (for example, one she misses a lot from Kugane is Heavensturn!) and Meti “I would do anything for Ama” Nyx starts to celebrate them with her...Ama “I would do anything for Meti” Hisakatsu does the same back asjkfnfajsk 

18.  What are their dates like? How long do/did they date? Do they ever feel the need to take a break from each other?

According to everyone else, they might as well have been dating the whole time they knew each other but they only officially get together mid stormblood, and they date basically until they get married and become spouses instead. (Not. 100% sure when that is but listen lots of stuff happens in SHB it’s hard to get married when ur not even on ur home star)

As for dates tho they’re absolutely one of those couples who surprise each other either with an entire day’s plan or a super nice dinner that they’ve been prepping for awhile. Those tend to be saved for anniversaries or other personal holidays, but even then they could end up doing something together for the day if they felt like it. Like when their group ends up in Kugane and Ama has to be at home, Meti happily helps her sneak out to do literally anything but stay in that house. It’s cheesy but Ama legit finds comfort in just being around him...

Taking breaks though? I can’t really picture them being like that, like the closest to that I can see is actually Ama of all people needing to go cool off for an hour or so because she’s surprisingly stubborn when it comes to people not caring about themselves enough.....I actually kinda wanna write that specific part out but 🤔🤔🤔 maybe another day

below the cut theres “brief” bios for them all (including their names because my renditions of their handwriting might not be very legible) and a little chart showing more insight into their personality makeup

all the ages are from act 1, after a year in kirkwall, relative to carver and bethany’s 20 (fyi they both survive in this au and both become grey wardens. cannot IMAGINE that any of these hawkes would let one of their littlest siblings fight an ogre 1v1 when theres literally eight of them lmfao they tag team it like they do everything)

steve hawke- he/him, age 27, adopted by the hawkes at 8. steve is a mage, a healer, and a pacifist. as such when there are fights he will focus on incapacitating enemies without harming them (force magic and mind blast comes in handy) and especially on supporting the team through healing. he’s gay and immediately takes to anders, mainly because he spends a lot of time helping in his clinic. 

he strongly believes in mage rights especially as malcolm imparted a lot of responsibility on him towards his younger mage siblings, nyx and bethany. he’s protective and a bit of a worrier, though as time goes on in kirkwall he becomes more and more exhausted, and starts to cope through making light of things. post-game, he and anders are on the run.

kit hawke- he/him, age 24, bio kid, and a dual-wielding rogue. he’s bold, charming, and a bit of a pessimist- all of which kirkwall amplifies by virtue of being a crazy fucking city. kit is also pretty business minded and usually spearheads bone pit related shenanigans. varric (who deeply cares for all the hawkes of course) immediately takes to him and the two are inseparable. 

kit is bi, and likes to have fun, though over time he falls for both isabela and fenris, and over time the three get together and become the most impressive trio you ever saw. all kit’s siblings are kind of like “are you serious dude, we have a limited number of friends and you end up with two of them? what about the rest of us” but considering the amount of drama and heartbreak kit undergoes over the years in relation to his love life, they all kind of figure he’s earned the happy ending. post-game the three of them become pirates on isabela’s ship and free slaves in between tracking down hidden treasure or whatever it is that pirates do, and they eventually have adorable baby twins.

syl hawke- she/her, age 26, bio kid but only leandra’s, she actually is varric’s half sibling (though she does NOT know this and the sibling rivalry that develops upon them meeting is incomprehensible to the both of them). so syl is the shortest of the bunch, and looks a lot more like varric and bartrand than kit, carver, or bethany, despite them all being related. 

syl’s the only warrior of the group (other than carver- a dynamic duo), fights with hammers exclusively, and has a tendency to be super intense. she doesn’t really get humor at all, in the rare case that she accidentally makes a joke and people laugh she assumes they’re laughing AT her. she’s also very shoot first and ask questions later, and the only hawke more protective than steve is. her big sister energy is off the charts and she’s prepared to kill any templar that so much as looks at her family. as such she’s staunchly pro-mage.

she’s a lesbian and has massive game despite not really being any good at flirting- it’s probably her sheer intensity. she and isabela have a brief fling, tallis is very taken with her, and she has a rivalry-fueled sexual tension with aveline for ages (the long road is a VERY fun quest to play through with syl). however she was always very supportive of and close with merrill and eventually the two fall in love. once they’re together they’re insanely sweet and have mega chemistry and i love them so fucking much. post-game they’re forced to leave kirkwall but end up living in the denerim alienage.

lith hawke- she/her, age 25, adopted by the hawkes at 9 along with her twin nyx. an archer rogue, with speed taking precedence over power or precision. lith is a lot to take in okay. she’s the only one who’s pro-templar in the group, and is a rabid andrastian. back home in lothering her chantry beliefs were instrumental in keeping her family safe, as she not only knew every templar by name (as the whole family did) but also is endlessly trustworthy to them and to all the chantry sisters and mothers. countless times a templar might have come calling to take away one of her siblings or her father, but was dissuaded by lith- after all, little lith hawke would NEVER help hide apostates, right?

she supports her siblings because she believes that in the end their souls will be saved. (the only thing that freaks her out more than nyx’s blood magic is when syl casually drops that she’s thinking about converting to merrill’s religion.) she doesn’t trust mages if they aren’t related to her, and always advocates for the circle when given the chance. she’s best friends with fenris and they hang out a lot, more and more as the years pass. since merrill and anders both move into the hawke estate (which was already a bit of a circus, can you imagine the chaos?) lith finds herself more and more outnumbered ideologically and often escapes to fenris’ mansion for some quiet. 

during the endgame, she sides against her family and the mages. she basically has a villainous breakdown. she helps them kill meredith and once it’s revealed that meredith had been influenced by the lyrium idol, lith’s whole worldview is pretty much shattered. post-game she leaves the city and seeks out her cousin, ash amell (i have eight wardens so im not going to get into this but basically my amell and my cousland (eve) are in a gay throuple with leliana and its dope as all hell). spending time with ash, eve, and leliana is very healing for her, but all her siblings assume she’s dead and she doesn’t see them for years after kirkwall.

nyx hawke- they/them, age 25, adopted by the hawkes at 9 along with their twin lith. nyx is the blood mage of the group, and is an absolute icon quite frankly. they’re very chaotic, and especially close with kit, merrill, and isabela. nyx has a ton of fun fighting, and they and syl make an especially good team in combat. nyx always looks up to syl and its very sweet, and syl is the only one in the family who never once messed up nyx’s pronouns (everyone is very good about this of course, and by kirkwall its a non-issue, but even lith slipped up once or twice early on). 

they have very noodly arms because they’ve never had to worry about fighting hand to hand when running out of mana, because of the blood magic. this leads to quite a bit of teasing but tbh they pull it off. nyx is bi and has a thing with isabela for a short while but in the end they’re better as best friends. 

nyx and lith are very close. they’re often perfectly in sync when doing things, especially in combat, and have that twin esp thing going on which can get spooky at times. however they also bicker a lot, and obviously clash on ideology pretty much constantly. though this is the norm nyx always assumed they would have each other’s backs no matter what when it came down to the nitty gritty, and lith’s betrayal during the endgame is really heartbreaking for them. 

over the years anders and nyx do a lot of collaborating when it comes to mage rights. they help him polish his manifesto, and smuggle mages out of the gallows. the only real reason nyx isn’t brought into the loop on the chantry explosion was a mixtures of anders’ crushing guilt and his knowledge that if he told nyx and not steve, steve would be really hurt. (however he couldn’t tell steve because he didn’t want the deaths to be on steve’s conscience- anders knows he definitely would have helped if it came down to that). post-game nyx goes on to be one of the leaders of the mage rebellion.

lou hawke- he/him, age 22, adopted by the hawkes at 10. hes a cowboy and i love him. an archer rogue, he prioritizes powerful firing over speed or precision. he’s a massive sweetheart, terminally polite, and has massive ears that he’s self-conscious of and tries to cover with his hair. however whenever his hair gets long enough to cover them leandra starts poking and prodding him to get a trim and he’s always too soft to refuse for long, beginning the cycle again (and after leandra is murdered he always keeps his hair to her liking- he gets weepy if it grows too long). he’s the only hawke i’ve drawn without his in-game outfit because this fucking game doesn’t have cowboy hats or cute shirts with tassles and i do what i want. 

lou also plays instruments, he’s got a guitar and a harmonica and plays the piano passably. he IS the piano man in the eyes of the hanged man’s patrons. sing us a song, they tell him, etc. he manages ten minutes of harmonica in the deep roads, citing excellent acoustics, until anders tells him to stop because the darkspawn will hear. when the hawkes get rich lou buys a horse and goes for morning rides out on the wounded coast. 

lou is bi, and runs around for years with a massive crush on isabela but that doesn’t exactly work out. he ends up with jethann (theres a lot of lore here but suffice it to say its extremely tender) and post-game they leave kirkwall and end up owning a ranch not far outside denerim. lou hires lots of farmhands that end up looking to him as a father figure and its super sweet, and jethann refuses to do manual labor.

Here is probably everything else I wore out and about this year less often or less memorably, I guess? It doesn’t seem like it, but I guess! 

eyes:

Recently I’ve been trying to get use out of Subculture’s stone shade, Mercury. I really, really want to do grey and taupe and stone eye looks but I do not have what I need. This particular shade darkens a lot. I want to keep Subculture out to try to do new things with it–make that shade work more with the yellows, use the rosy shades, wear that metallic ONCE (I never have!!). I don’t really even remember wearing the Kristen Leanne palette this year, it was probably either the purple or the gold. This thing really is very pretty but it’s full of the kinds of potential looks I’ve already mastered and am unchallenged by. The UD Nocturnal palette is getting quite old and I’m trying to breathe new life into it–tried some looks with that purple and silver but it’s not the Cool Toned™ look I’m craving… I only use the mattes WnW’s revamped Comfort Zone palette (for how many years will we refer to it like that?) but I like them, as far as neutrals go. That Dior palette came from one of you guys and I’m still trying to figure out what it’s good for–I think I’m going to wear it on my face? That center shade in particular is just lovely for me. These just feel delicious.

Colourpop Sprinkle Me (this is kind of my go-to shimmery neutral “topper” shade, to the extent that I think it makes me lazy and I’m trying to use it left) and Don’t Leave, L’Oreal Infallible in Golden Emerald (these are still so good!), a Stila Magnificent Metals, the old kind you mix with a medium, in Metallic Gilded Gold. I did wear one of the Glitter and Glows this year but I guess it didn’t end up in here! MAC’s Bird of Prey pressed pigment from that LE Star Trek line–this remains just okay for me but I respect my choice to purchase it based on having the best of all the shade names! Bunch of fucking pencils, idk, I’m very lost when it comes to pencils: a NYX jumbo in Cashmere, a NYX retractable in Gold, Milani glitter retractable in Emerald Stone: they are all fine. A lot of this green and gold stuff was my NYE look. 

I seem to recall doing an all-over-the-face look with that fluorescent pink Sweetpea & Fay pigment. I still have this! Pigments last forever! I am gonna keep this out for a blush. 

There are three Grinch liquid liners from Pur that Westlin got me for Christmas (!) and I’ve been playing around with them. Reader, I’m out of practice. I’m not good at liquid liner. That is why I had coveted this set in the first place, because I didn’t have any and they’re the brush kind, which I always liked back in the days when we all wore liquid liner. But the learning curve is killing me a little bit here. 

Two things I got from @madmoths that I’m still playing around with. That CYO mascara is GREEN! A dark green, pretty subtle on bare lashes. I wore it a few times then I wanted to keep it closed for a while until I got a white primer to try it with, so it didn’t dry out (esp given I have 100 mascaras open currently). I will report how it looks over the primer! What color eyeshadow with an evergreen lash? This would be a great time for a milky matte pink or mauve, which I DO NOT have! Strawberry milk + pine is a good colour combination. Then, black cherry or plum (for spring) and maybe mustard yellow. Seems like that is the agenda! Then there is a MAC dazzleshadow in Can’t Stop Won’t Stop. This has a plummy base with a looovely perfect light blue glitter in it, I’m trying to figure out the best way to layer it to bring out the blue. It is part of my cherry for spring plan! Sometimes I feel like I have a hard time wearing dark shades on my lid without feeling too…formal? And this is something I’m trying to get over. I think wearing them in particularly informal settings will help. (Maybe this is reservations about “sexy”?) This would look so good with a powder blue liner.

face:

I realize now that I should have put Anastasia’s Moonchild palette in my more used pile, I had totally forgotten about how all of January I wanted to be tin man. That silver-grey looks very flattering on me, but I want it to look grey. I want a fucking grey face highlighter. Pale princess problems :(

UD’s Bittersweet Afterglow blush, NYX’s Codebreaker ombre blush and Pinky powder blush: these are fine. Becca’s Opal is fine. That WnW Zodiac highlighting bar (Earth) is nice, it’s fine. It kinda made me like Mary Loumanizer, of all things, more, in comparison. That peachy Vera Mona thing is an eyeshadow that I wear as a blush. I am always thinking that I wish I had a peachy shimmery blush and forgetting I have that. I do not recommend those WnW stick blushes. I somewhat strongly recommend the Revolution liquid highlighters and the WnW Hello Halo liquid highlighters, the above are in the shades Liquid Champagne and Guilded (?) Glow. I like the Revolution one marginally better on me, easier to blend out.

I really wanted to like that Hourglass Vanish stick highlighter when it came out and I was amped to get a mini, it was so hyped and well-regarded. The shade is Champagne something or other. Maybe it’s just that I don’t wear foundation? But I don’t find this to be any nicer than any other stick highlighter I’ve tried, and I do like that kind of thing. It’s okay. 

That WnW Illuminating Palette is still pretty nice, I feel like whenever I get bored of it I find a new way to use it. I have an idea about that and that little Vintage pink blush-highlight, they are both relatively subtle and very smooth: I think I might try to use them as finishing powders all over my whole face. Will report back. 

That Colourpop blush is in the shade Bardot and I’m making a point to use it henceforth, these things don’t have forever shelf lives. It’s nice! I don’t love the super shock formula for blush specifically, I think it’s finnicky on a brush.

Oh! and my City Color Be Matte blush in Fresh Melon. Still my favorite. I’m a little concerned that it’s getting drier, and I cannot replace it!!

lips:

MAC Watch Me Simmer, still maybe my favorite lipstick of all time when I wear it, still haven’t found a dupe, lately I’m into wearing it very blotted out, because their cremes do emphasize lip weirdness and my lips have been VERY WEIRD. 

The only thing here whose color isn’t represented well is that Maybelline lipstick. It’s called Fiery Fuchsia and I got it on super clearance. It is fairly similar to the fuchsia from the new Maybelline line, the one Nyma Tang had me wanting to buy, but this one was on clearance for like $3 likely for that reason, AND its # is 810 (flint area code). So far I quite like it, one of my favorite lipstick color families on me is what I call “dark pinks,” which are hot lipstick pinks at a darker value that haven’t been desaturated. This one is the most vibrant one in my collection so far and I imagine it’ll be an everyday shade for me. I’d like to get myself a liner in this family, because I’ve been relying more on liners since my lips have been Extremely Weird.

Here is Fenty’s Vay Cray gloss–this gets less winter time wear from me, because it can emphasize Weirdness, but it is ideal in the summer. Revlon’s HD matte metallic something or other in HD Dazzle is fine, Lucas got it for me hoping it would replace this (the only lip item I have EVER LOST! and mourn daily). It doesn’t, but I like it. More of those Benefit glosses in Hoola and Bella Bamba. Tom Ford Indian Rose: this is really nice especially if you have Weird Lip problems, but I like that Bare Minerals one better, maybe! The Bite Sephora birthday gifts– the stick in Glace and the bullet in Chai–are good, they’re fine, I haven’t learned to love them. I’m mad at Bite because a very very old lipstick I had from them finally got like, lowkey rancid, and it was expensive, and I’m like: what if you didn’t use food grade ingredients, hm? I haven’t found a good reason to wear that green, UD’s Junkie, much since the Christmas season, but I’ll figure it out. That Rimmel is one of my favorite shades,109, but the last time I wore it it was Weird (due to weird lips), so I’ve been afraid of it.

That Colourpop shade is Scorpio Moon (lol of course I bought it) and the quality and experience of it is unbelievable and it makes me want to buy more of them all the time. I’m hoping to get Flower Szn. Their Lux Lipsticks could be the best thing on the market–not just for the price, but for any price–if they kept them consistent and were willing to fill out a permanent range, but they won’t, because they are Colourpop! So they become the best for the price, maybe, but I still think something like Maybelline is a safer bet across the range. Anyway this color is so strange–which is good, it is unique. It turned out to be way more cool-toned on me than I expected, but at the same time it is not cool-toned enough, so I keep wearing it hoping it will be a delicious creamy greige, but it is not. That has been a trend for me this year, I am craving a delicious creamy greige and I have none. Hence these NYX shades, Haze (the straight grey) and Castle (the lavender, what a cute name), both of which I reach for when I want greige, and I end up disappointed, even though they are both good, especially that purple, which is a dear shade to me!

Persona Problems: Apathy Syndrome, Mental Shutdowns, and Reverse Cases

Sooooo uhhh I can’t sleep so might as well ramble about this.

Comparing and contrasting the 3, ranting on why Mental Shutdowns are called Mental Shutdowns and why it’s stupid, and trying to fix PTS’ Reverse Cases.

An issue I’ve had with P5 tbh (I think I’ve talked about this before), but while thinking about it I realized that......my own idea of fixing P:TS’ Reverse Cases instead....made me realized some complications (I mean the complication was there to begin with but I’ll get to that). 

Anyway I’ll save Reverse Cases for last since I’m sure most of you are only here for P3/5. 8U

So one thing that bothered me in P5 is.....the fact they call Mental Shutdowns well...Mental Shutdowns. I mean because....it’s just Apathy Syndrome (or at least, how it’s called by the public, “Mass Lethargy Syndrome, which we find out in P4D, as a similar case is happening there).

Well let me explain what each one basically is.

Apathy Syndrome. is basically when a person’s shadow goes on vacation in P3, and Nyx/Full Moon bosses be giving out those vacation tickets like Oprah when well....the Full moon comes around. 8U I mean technically the person’s shadow gets “eaten” by a Dark Hour Shadow (and yes it’s their shadow, MegaTen says “psyche” but it’s clarified more that by psyche they mean shadow). Basically, while there are technicalities in HOW the shadow isn’t in the person’s body, the fact remains it happens because the shadow is not in the body. As for what happens to the person, they usually go into a coma/vegetative state and will die without medical help.

Mass Lethargy Syndrome: 

Now let’s look at Mental Shutdowns. It happens when a Shadow Self is killed.....ok.....so basically that means the Shadow is not there anymore. The Shadow is not in the body. Basically the same exact thing as Apathy Syndrome. What happens to the body? Same exact thing as Apathy Syndrome, they go into coma/vegetative state and will die without medical help. I mean sometimes they’ll die right on the spot for no good reason(ok maybe not RIGHT on the spot, stupid delay reaction Okumura....fudging things up), but of the 3/4 we saw, we know 2/3 (dunno if I should count train guy, but Wakabe and Kobayashi def count) died because they fell in traffic and not by whatever Okumura conveniently got. Also this doesn’t count Ichiko’s friend who was just in a coma, so it seems Okumura’s reaction is.....VERY rare. Btw fun fact, in P3′s 1st movie, something similar happens at a train station that mirrors Wakabe/Kobayashi, someone gets Apathy syndrome and falls in front of a train (I know it’s the movie, but the game DOES say there was a delay and the movie spells it out for us it’s cause of a body on the train tracks so.....there might be some weight to the movie). 

Now PTS....I’m....I’m mostly gonna focus on Reverse Cases, I mean this anime has Apathy Syndrome but I don’t recall it (or I didn’t get that far into it), and the wiki states it’s when a Persona is taken or destroyed, while Reverse Cases (as well as Kagenuki) specifically mention Shadows....and I dunno it could be P:TS being weird again and not knowing how the relationship between Personas/Shadows work, but then again Kagenuki was used so that people could tell if that person has a strong shadow and thus strong Persona and....basically I don’t think the creators through it through or the wiki is missing some info. ANYWAY, Reverse Cases are similar, it’s where a Shadow is forcibly taken by another Persona user for a certain goal of summoning something more powerful by gathering those Personas (if any of you Arena/Ultimax fans feel like you might’ve heard something like this before yeah I think they repurposed P:TS’s thing), and when that happens the person is turned inside out! Whoops! Well that’s a bit different, but hey same concept, shadow leaving the body (THAT BEING SAID it’s understandable why it’s called something different, the outcome is different compared to AS and MS). (btw Kagenuki is where you pull a Shadow/Persona out but it’s used to relieve stress or some BS, it’s temporary and....it’s kinda more like you are forcing someone to summon their Persona rather than take it....unless you are discount Strega aka Marebito then they are trying to actually take it).

Fun Fact: P2IS I believe is the first place that showcases Apathy Syndrome (or whatever we wanna call all 3/4 of these things), as the character Yukino experience similar symptoms when her Shadow Self commits suicide. P2IS didn’t have a name for it but....just a fun fact. 8U

Anyway before I pick apart P:TS’ mess, lemme get back to P5. Why the fudge do they call it something different? Like I GET MS’ process is a little different, but the outcome is pretty much identical, esp to the public....who are the one’s naming the phenomenon. Like us the players know it’s different, one is caused by the Dark Hour and is temporary, the other is caused by Goro being an asshole and it seems like this one is a bit more permanent....BUT THE PUBLIC DOESN’T KNOW THAT! To them it should be “Apathy Syndrome/Mass Lethargy Syndrome has returned and a new phenomenon ‘Psychotic Breakdowns’ has emerged!” you could possibly connect them due to both showing up at around the same time, but calling AS something different? No, to the public it’s pretty much the same, people are becoming vegetables and we dunno how to help them. In all honesty, just because the way shadows are leaving people’s bodies are a bit different, I don’t think it warrants a new name...in fact I think it can be confusing “Wait isn’t it basically the same thing? How/why is it called something different?” it just raises unneeded questions. And no you can’t make the argument that ‘maybe AS wasn’t well known’ because 1) it’s mentioned later in P4D (and I think even in Arena), albeit by a different but similar sounding title and 2) even a small town like Inaba’s murder mystery was still being alluded to in P5 about 5ish years later in-game....and Iwatodai is a city and it was being talked about on the news A LOT.....so no it’s not a small town/city thing.

But...”Well why aren’t you complaining about P4D’s re-name?” Probably cause the rumor of knowing the cause of MLS vs AS/MS. MLS is associated with the cursed video, while AS/MS are unknown to the public..... Or maybe AS was just known as MLS to the mass public or it’s a phenomenon where a bunch of people fall to AS, I need to replay P4D tbh if there are additional details I’m missing, but the fact remains that, to the public, MLS has a possible root cause while the other two do not so it’s possible to let that slide....tho it brings up the fact MS should either be called AS or MLS.... Esp because there’s also the fact that P4D is probably taking place in Tokyo (P3/4/4D basically just call it “the city,” but I think it’s heavily hinted to be Tokyo, heck a quick google search lead me to a LMB festival look alike, aka Tokyo Idol Festival so....yeah 8U). Which makes it even more jarring for P5 since WE KNOW it takes place in Tokyo so why are they using two names for the same thing??? It’s like.....calling the Chicken Pox something like “Polly Pocket Pox,” same symptoms, we just feel like calling it something totally random and new now for no reason even tho it’s literally the exact same thing in everyone’s eyes. 8U 

Anyway end rant on P5′s annoying alt naming, now for P:TS.

So.....Reverse Cases are a bit of a mess....both in the show (damn it be bloody) and.....lore wise (not new to P:TS bless its soul....haha soul....pun not intended). Lore wise it doesn’t make sense. I mean P3/4D/5′s way of doing it we basically have different ways of doing X1+A/B/C but we still get the same Y (basically X+A=Y, X+B=Y, and X+C=Y for P3/4D/5 respectively, X=a shadow leaving, A/B/C=the different forms aka Full Moon/Cursed Video/Goro-murders). RC is different, it’s end result is different even if say.....it’s the same as P5 (P5 involve another human harming another Person’s shadow so yeah). So with PTS, instead of X+C=Y, it’s now X+C=Z (Shadow leaving+basically stealing and absorbing the shadow=a person explodes).....so with PT X+C≠Y.....and that’s.....that’s some problems. Because PTS equates the shadow leaving with the person exploding (we’re ignoring AS in this universe cause....we don’t need more problems).

So....to fix it.....I originally thought “maybe add one more thing to the equation!” Have it be X+C+D=Z. With D= maybe the shadow goes berserk before it’s eaten and that’s how the person is exploded. Kinda similar to how Personas can turn on their user in P3 and strangle them....or in P4 the Shadow Selves....do something that kills them. I mean they both try to kill their hosts and seem to do different things to get the job done, and how they do it could result in a different outcome (P3 it’s strangulation tho not sure if traceable, P4 it’s unknown, PTS it’s explosion). There fix right? Nope.......I realized, thanks to P4 esp....there’s an issue....And this exists with how RCs already operate not just my fix it tweak. The issue is that.....once the person is killed, the shadow self (and by extension the Persona) disappears with it.... 

“Ok how is that bad?” Well the point of the RC are that the Marebito are gathering Shadows(/Personas) to make themselves stronger (and so that what’s his face can summon something, keeping it vague for spoilers but hey already dropped a spoiler so whatevs). But.....as soon as the Person explodes that Shadow should cease to exist. Rendering everything moot.

Which means we need to change PTS again, and we can do it a few ways thankfully! I mean you might have to rewrite PTS for some of the options but.....like it already needs rewrites so klnvkds;vna Anyway here’s what we can do:

No RCs! Instead it’s just Apathy Syndrome a new wave. What ain’t broke don’t fix it. Personas/Shadows are still stolen, but we just keep the symptoms as AS and just call it AS (or MLS, I’m down for either)

Might be an issue with getting the police involved, so either with the revamp have Shadow Ops be involved 

Or make it so the police think AS in PTS has a different patter compared to P3′s so they think it might be a group or some BS.

Keep the RC, but don’t make it about stealing shadows/personas to make something stronger or summon something. Instead just make it about a (or a group of) serial killer(s)! 

Either they just use their Persona to explode people

Or they utilize the Kagenuki to draw out the shadow self to do it for them!. 

Use both 1 and 2, by which I mean I guess pull a P5 (aka have two going at the same time like P5 has with Mental Shutdowns and Psychotic Breakdowns, and RC could be the reason the police get involved), AS is when they steal the shadow, RC is when they wanna kill a person without the weird as time delay MS has at times. 

I feel like I had more to say but it’s late and.....I think I’ll just end it here. 8V

i talk abt my pirate gorls a good amount so this post is dedicated to my new best boy, Nicholas “Nyx” Henderson!!! hes. such a good boy okay okay so hes a werewolf--he was invented bc my good buddy payton gave me and all my friends homework to make a werewolf oc and now we all have werewolves and its so good they’re a good family. and so nyx, is like, 6′4″ and hes pretty buff and hes got like long fluffy hair and also fangs always bc duh, thats Cool. and rlly thick eyebrows. he is basically the human personification of the :D emoticon, hes a human golden retriever, etc. a big sweetie but also just like, an absolutely chaotic dumbass. just a big gay moron. and his best friend is named dira, who is very very good shes @do-you-like-sumo‘s oc and she’s great and also has no eyebrows and nyx basically was like “you’re my sibling now no takebacks” and now they do chaotic things and like, run from the police together. and also hes very southern and drives a pickup truck and lives (lived?) in kentucky and says lots of weird incoherent southern shit all the time and ONLY listens to country music much to the chagrin of literally everyone he knows. nyx’s True State is: his mouth is full of grass because of various shenanagains, and he is screaming the song “She Thinks My Tractor’s Sexy” at the top of his lungs while dira screams at him in the background. and he likes to read terrible, terrible gay cowboy romance novels, and he acts like a big brother to everyone always (esp dira but anyone younger than him hes like.
