7. Realistically speaking, they would not be able to keep the child safe for a week. Because as much as they love children, they have a big target on their back currently and having a child means that they are risking that child's life and they won't be able to live with that guilt :D

Everything else is easy to take care of because he grew up with animals and plants and they love them very much.

12. Something that they think is normal and neighbors think it's weird as hell? Honestly probably talking to the ghosties in the neighborhood. For them it makes sense, they've been interacting with them their whole life. Outside of that though? The guy looks like he is cracked out and/or psychotic talking to thin fucking air.

8 for Ecstal cuz I miss them

It's sleepy mimis time, but I would really like to answer these before my typing skills become too incoherent:

They would emotionally never recover I think. They would sit and read the whole SAT prep book, cram an all nighter, pull up the next morning with those hydro-flasks filled with ice, redbulls, and at least 3 shots of blond espresso to keep themselves awake enough to take the test. After the test, they would literally collapse the in the closest thing resembling grass and cry for a solid 5 minutes before being plagued by the night terrors of this test.

Academically I think they would do fine. Not completely bomb the test, but isn't a gifted child. Like probably a 900-1100 range (idk what the range is like now, but when I was in hs this was the average)

Alright anon sit down because alot has happened to the blorb since you met them so buckle the fuck up (tw for violence, limbs missing, and uhhh idk what else to tag)

Tldr: So blorbo is currently dehydrated as fuck and they are going to be on bedrest and drink lots of fluid and have a doting partner take care of them.

Since blorbo was last mentioned (and since the campaign ended) Ecstal as gone through alot! They fell in love with 2 people who also reciprocate their feelings, got captured and thrown into the gladiator pits again, got broken out by their 2 partners via their partner's bestfriend killing them and breaking the mind control spell after having been missing for 3 years; a few days after them getting broken out, their boyfriend got captured by *his* boyfriend's dad. Ecstal then went to rescue him and lost their arm and leg in the process because their magic (which is a whole thing on its own that I can explain in a seperate ask if prompted) fucking crumbled them away and killed them (again!). They are currently on bed rest and just found out they're about to be a parent (even tho they physically can't be one since they were forced to do that procedure. Which is also a story in and of itself.) And they haven't really drank enough water in the last 4 years (in their world), so they is doing their best!

TLDR: They can cook, they love(d) food, but cooking is a group thing

They love food in this house! Like damn!

They are not that great of a cook tho. Like will they burn the kitchen sort of bad? Naw they aint like that, but like they know how to but are too lazy to cook by themselves. Or does it make them feel sad and melancholy? Probably the latter tbh considering that they enjoy cooking the most when they help and prepping/making food is a group affair.

I feel like before his dead status, they were more active in the preparation of food because it was like duh i can get a sneak of a crumb here and there, but since their transformation, food has become a symbolic thing, and they aren't one to refuse a plate (considered rude if you do was how they were raised)

Anyways, they love making anything that requires alot of prep stuff because it's mechanical work that they don't really have to think abt doing but rather just do the thing

Ecstal has led a life full of trouble and strife and loss. Currently, who does he hold most dear and just how far would he go to protect them?

Hello, beloved anon! It seems like you have stumbled upon a very good topic that I've thought about very very well since I created the lad.

How far would Ecstal go and protect the ones he/they love? He'd lay down his own life, to such extremes that if he was told to take his own to keep them safe, he'd do it without blinking. This also can be slightly deranged in the sense that if he could, he would cast Modify Memory to make them forget who he was if this means that he could keep him safe. Currently, the people on their list are very small (seeing that their family is like, well, dead) the list is their current crush (this is not Jezek surprisingly, Jezek is old news for Ecstal atm if you know you know ;3) Chan, Eden, Azeron, Resitho, and Ezra. But like he doesn't realize that he holds them dear. It's like he sees everyone in the Cryptid Crew as idiots who are incompetent, but the thought of them not living to see life as it should be, without corruption curdles his stomach in a way that he doesn't like. It leaves a sour taste in his mouth to think that they might one day die as he hangs around them. And they don't want that from them. (It is the same thing for the Chaos Crew, but Chaos Crew knows each other's secrets and are comfortable with each other with said secrets. Cryptid Crew only knows that they are a tiefling, but that's about it as far as secrets go). I feel like I did a whole run around with this thing, but does this make sense? if not please pester me about it

Sometimes I sit here, vibing, when I start thinking of all the sayings and old-timey quotes Ecstal's parents would have told them when they are young, and then it hits me at full force.

And I have one that hits different and would be in theme with their parents.

And then sometimes I listen to the Spanish pop songs to grab more inspiration. And then suddenly I have like 20 of them

Which kinda sucks ngl cause the lyrics lose a little bit of their meaning in translation but damn they hit deep (Like for example "Even grey skies are a part of paradise.")
