Outfit ideas for the seekers

starting with TC or Thaddeus as his alias. I imagine him being comfy, cozy, semi casual. He looks like an English teacher and honestly I think he digs it.

Next is Starscream, alias Erza who is both easy and impossible. He can make anything masc or femme.

Skywarp of skylar is much easier considering he is a very punk boi /alt/grunge. He likes the ripps jeans lots of layers and spikes ofc!

And ofc StormChaser (aka tfp Starscream) long coats and turtle necks 👏👏cozy and fashionable, simple yet sleek. Keep him warm KEEP BIRD WARM

Have you watch Fairy Tail by any chance? I'm curious because you like One Piece and I wanted to know if you also like (or at least don't hate) Fairy Tail. It's very difficult to find someone who doesn't dislike it :(

My feelings on Fairy Tail are fairly mixed because back in Uni I was DEEP in the show.

Loved all the fights, loved the power system, loved Natsu, Erza and loved Gajeel a lot! The soundtrack is an absolute banger and I managed to read the manga till the end and watch the anime till the beginning of the last arc.

However, at around the Tartaros arc I started to become aware of certain uh…let’s say the way the author treats his female characters was starting to wear me down. And eventually I lost interest in keeping up the hype.

I did try to read Edens Zero but the “fanservice” in that one was like 1000% worse and really started to disgust me, so I couldn’t stomach reading anymore.

Sorry if this isn’t what you wanted to hear but know that I still have very fond memories of the show and frequently go back to watch moments I love!

God I just feel so fucking angry.

I’m in a lot of fandoms, and every one, every single one, is sexist. Every piece of media I consume, every show, book, movie—it’s sexist.

I like some more than others—Fairy Tail gives all but one grown woman huge chests, and deliberately makes her insecure about it; Wendy and Chelia are a little weird as the 12-year-old girl trope in anime; Lucy almost always fights female antagonists—and I love those shows, I do. I adore them. I watch and rewatch and I love the stories, up until certain days when I just can’t take it.

I hate having to settle. I hate that, when I talk about Fairy Tail, it feels like I’m justifying the sexism with “oh, it’s not too bad.” I have to compare it. MHA is worse, obviously; fewer female characters, fewer female powerhouses. But with Fairy Tail I still have to settle.

There are many main powerful female characters, yes. But the male-female ratio is obvious. The Oracion Seis only has one woman, and she’s mostly there to parallel Lucy. Phantom Lord had only one woman. Grimoire Heart has only one woman and a teenage girl.

There’s only one female dragon slayer (not including Irene), and she’s twelve. I could go into her and Chelia’s and Mavis’ (and honestly Meldy’s) whole thing as the young, innocent girl tropes all over anime but I don’t want to-

Female powerhouses? Erza, Ultear (antagonist), Minerva (antagonist)…??? Juvia??? Cana? Mavis (dead)?

I wouldn’t count Sorano and Yukino in the powerhouse section. I might count Lucy, but given how much time she spends in the earlier seasons needing to be rescued it’s a little weak.

But male powerhouses? Natsu, Gray, Makarov, rock guy, Laxus, Jellal, Gajeel, Hades, Acnologia, Zeref, fire god guy, lightning god guy, memory guy, I really should’ve rewatched the show before making this post,

My point is—it’s an obvious gap. And yet I view fairy tail as one of the most gender balanced anime. It feels so much better.

A big part of that is their characters. Every female character is treated with the same dignity as the male characters. No matter how sexualized they may be, they are people. They each have backstories as deep as the men.

And I am so so angry that that’s a factor here. I want to be properly pissed about how they treat Lucy, I want to get mad at the unrealistically big boobs—but fairy tail is comparatively such a good show for gender equality.

I don’t know what the point to this was. I’m just upset.

Erza is definitely the type to go through a phase where she's obsessed with Mean Girls and Clueless and forces Lucy and Wendy to dress up with her (she tried to convince Mira but failed)

Natsu and Gray definitely have to follow the "on wednesdays we wear pink" rule

Erza once walked into Wendy’s apartment at fairy hills to find her and Carla sitting on the floor with a bunch of bracelet making supplies. Erza was immediately enamored. Now Wendy, Carla, and Erza hang out almost every night making friendship bracelets. After that, a lot of Fairy Tail members have gained a collection of friendship bracelets the three of them made.

- Lucy tries her best to include at least one of them in her outfits, and sometimes even builds an outfit based on which bracelet she wants to wear. She also got one that she could put on Imitatia/Gonzalez/Michelle.

- Natsu and Happy hoard every bracelet they got like a dragon hoarding treasure. At first Erza, Wendy, and Carla thought they just kept loosing their bracelets which is why they never wore them. Until, Wendy overheard the two talking about doing extra jobs because they wanted to save up to buy a safe for the bracelets.

- Gray only wears a specific few, and keeps the others in a drawer. But, he never takes the ones he wears off. He wears them as much as he wears his necklace, which also means he never takes them off when he strips. (The ones he wears are any matching ones they made, and one that was inspired by Ur.)

- Juvia was very happy when they gave her bracelets but got jealous that they were giving Gray some. Until they made a matching set just for Gray and Juvia. She never takes it off.

- Erza doesn’t make any for herself, but Wendy and Carla made some for her as a surprise. She keeps them on display, but she doesn’t wear them after one got broken on a mission. She cried herself to sleep that night.

- Wendy and Carla have a special jewelry box to keep their bracelets in. Except they have their matching bracelets up for display after seeing how Erza has hers.

If I could I would like to talk about the very second "nalu moment" in the series that takes place in episode 2. (The first I would like to believe is him telling her he's taking her to fairy tail.)

But this moment...

This was a major nalu moment for 2 reasons, 1 way more obvious than the other.

So let's start with the obvious.

First of all, for those who haven't made it to the grand magic games arc for any reason...

MAJOR SPOILER WARNING!

This is how Natsu remembered this moment. Which automatically gives it points for NaLu.

If you recall, towards the end of the grand magic games arc when the dragons attacked, Lucy was targeted by future rogue. Future Lucy, however, used her body as a shield and saved present Lucy's life. We then find out that the way we initially thought Natsu would remember the moment she officially joined was not how he remembered it at all, but instead remembered it as what seems to have been one of his core Lucy memories.

But I have a theory as well.

Here we can see that Lucy's favorite colors are pink and blue. However, unlike everyone else in the guild. Her outfit nor hair even once match her guild mark (with the exception of pajamas). Gray usually wears black pants to match his, erza wears a blue skirt to match hers, wendy wears blue in every outfit to match hers, and even natsu at least once wore red to match his, which if I'm being honest the color of his guild mark could have more to do with igneel seeing as his scales are red, but that's a totally different topic for another time. But lucy primarily wears blue and white. Neither of which is the color of her guild mark.

Why is this important?

As you may have guessed it has to do with my personal theory.

Does anyone remember how excited she was to show her guild mark to Natsu specifically? The moment she had it she ran to him to show him without hesitation.

I promise there's a reason for all these points.

Well my personal theory has to do with her guild mark, if that wasn't obvious already.

Again several times with everyone else in the guild we see them wear outfits to match their guild marks, but the only outfit lucy has ever matched with her guild mark was her pajamas.

So why did she choose a pink guild mark?

My theory is...

Because it matches Natsu's hair!

He was the first one she wanted to show her guild mark to.

He was the one that brought her to fairy tail.

AND he saved her from bora and his men!

To me, this was her way of showing her appreciation for Natsu.

And to me this also ties in with the "natsus core memory" bit.

Another headcanon is he remembered this because this moment touched him. He was the first person she wanted to show and her guild mark is the same color as his hair. To him, seeing her guild mark for the first time could've meant the world to him. But they just met so he couldn't let her know that.

It's just my personal little theory/head-canon. But it's still so cute none the less to think that this might be a possibility.
