Ernie had to be put to sleep. He had liver cancer and it had spread all over his body. This is one of the last pictures I took of him. He was so sweet right until the end. I played his favorite song for him, "Go Cubs Go" and literally as they were giving him the injection he was kissing my face.

I am feeling so lost and so fucked up.
