au where kevin and thea aren't together but instead kevin "it's easier to remain heterosexual" day dates a series of familiar-ish psu students.

the first girl is an exchange student in one of his history courses, who's tall with dark, curly hair and a strong nose. they only last until kevin brings her to a banquet and has to introduce her as jeanette to jean, when it suddenly all feels very strange to him.

the next girl is jenny, who's on psu's swimming team and brings kevin to the beach for their first date. she has dimples and deep, brown eyes. she also has brown hair, until kevin meets her one day and sees she has bleached it blonde. "like jeremy", he says, as he'd gotten news of jeremy's change in appearance just an hour before, and breaks up with her once he realizes what he's said.

after jenny is nat, who only goes by nat and never her full name. she doesn't play exy anymore due to a high school injury, but loves analyzing games with kevin. she can be more scathing than kevin is sometimes. it works out until kevin sees her with her ginger roots grown out and her scabby knees standing by the bathroom sink, taking her contacts out.

the last girl he dates at psu is his longest-lasting relationship. her name is andrea, and she's short and blonde. kevin's met her family, though her family only consists of her sister erin. andrea can be a bit... off-putting, but kevin likes that about her. he even goes as far as to introduce her to the foxes, having prepared her for how they can be. the meeting doesn't go well. the foxes look up at her, go silent for a moment, and then there are several comments made at once.

allison: "and we're sure they're not the minyard triplets?"

aaron: "what the hell, man."

nicky: "that's girl andrew. or girl aaron, maybe."

andrew just gets up and leaves, neil's laugh lingering as he leaves with him.

kevin never lives it down.

I have a feeling that Erin is actually a sword lesbian. Like, she has the knives, yes, but I think she would secretly really want a sword. And just imagine the power she would hold. She is powerful enough as she is, but her with a sword???? Hot. Ania would lose her shit if she saw her like that, like holy shit, is she allowed to do that??? How could she get any hotter???

For Halloween, Erin dresses up as She-ra for the sole purpose of having a sword to swing around. Kevin's lost a bet to her so now he's Swift Wind and has to carry her around for the whole night. Ania is Catra. Shes having the time of her life draping herself all over Erin the way Catra does. It DOES NOT make Erin feel things! No, sir. Not. At. All.

Aaron and Katelyn are dressed as a knight and princess respectively. The twins get into a sword fight on the dance floor at Eden's while Kate and Ania moon over their idiots. While both their swords are plastic, there's a bit of a sharp piece on his that ends up cutting Erin on her face. Catch him cleaning up the lil bitty cut as soon as they get home and plastering a too big bandage over it. He gives it a tiny smooch bc hes drunkity drunk drunk drunk and pets her hair while he apologizes. Katelyn may or may not have it all on video ;)
