Turk/ Kurdish Sultan of Egypt Al-Aziz tried to demolish the Great Pyramids of Giza, Egypt, in the 12th Century AD but had to give up because the task was too big.
This is the Pyramid of Menkaure, one of the three Great Pyramids on the Giza Plateau. At the end of the twelfth century Saladin’s son, al-Malek al-Aziz Othman ben Yusuf, saw the pyramids as symbols of a despised pagan religion and in his religious zeal wanted to demolish them. He had his workmen start with Menkaure’s Pyramid, probably because it was the smallest of the three.
His workmen labored for eight months at demolishing the pyramid, but got no further than what you see in the image above. They apparently found it more difficult to destroy than it would have been to build. Despite their best efforts, they were able to remove only a few stones each day. (By contrast, it has been calculated that to build the Great Pyramid of Khufu, workmen had to put a two-and-a-half ton stone into place every two minutes every day in order to put all two million of them into place within the twenty years it took to build the structure.) After eight months, al-Malek’s men were only able to create the large vertical gash that can now be seen on its north face.
That’s the only reason we all still can visit Egypt and see the Great Pyramids.

Everything You Need to Know About Certificate Attestation
Certificate attestation is a technique of legalization of a document like educational certificates, marriage certificate, birth certificate, and commercial document etc, to use it in a foreign country. This procedure usually has several steps including notary services, state or regional authorities, and the final attestation as a rule is provided by the consulate or embassy of the corresponding country.
Attestation services help those clients and companies in this complicated procedure to get and legalize documents in foreign countries. For instance, Italy certificate attestation may involve having the certificates used in Italy legalized by the Italian authorities and then embassy of the country of destination is involved.
Tumblr media
Likewise, Egypt attestation involves the legalization of Egyptian documents for use in other countries, where the government’s recognition is sought accompanied by the approval of the respective embassy of the country of destination.
Australia certificate attestation need to be attested with the Australian Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade (DFAT) before the documents get attested by the Embassy of the concerned country.
The process of Bangladesh certificate attestation in Dubai referred as legalization of Bangladeshi documents by the embassy of Bangladesh in Dubai, UAE and the ministry of foreign affairs of UAE.
UK certificate attestation involves certification of the documents by the FCDO and then, legalization of the documents by the embassy.
Attestation in Philippines refers specifically to legalization of Philippine documents for use overseas but before this is done, the documents are verified and attested by the respective foreign embassy.
Document attestation Sri Lanka provides the legalization of Sri Lanka documents for use in other countries. This procedure includes the authorization by the authorities of Sri Lanka and further attestation by the proper embassy leading to the recognition of the document for educational, employment or legal reasons in the country of intended use.
There are several details which need to be fulfilled to be able to attest a document. These requirements vary from country to country, they include: Original Certificate: Such a certificate should be a genuine one, which should be attested from the relevant authority being the original one. Identity Proof: The candidate applying for the certificate must produce an identification card that will show they are indeed a legal person such as a passport, driver’s license, or even birth certificate. Certification: The process of certification of the certificate should be certified by the issuing authority certifying that the certificate submitted in evidence is genuine and has not been tampered with. Supporting Documents: However, in some country or due to some circumstances extra documents may be needed like education certificate, marriage certificate, employment letter. Fees: As part of attestattion procedure there may be some charges which differ according to the country and the services you need. The process of attestation involves several steps to ensure the integrity of the document:
Notary Attestation: The notary public then signs on the said document to that effect and the document is then legal.
Home Department or State Attestation: This is then succeeded by certification of the document by the appropriate state or regional authority for instance the State Home Department, Department of Education etc.
Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) Attestation: It is notarized and legalized from MEA of the country where the certificate is issued for the purpose of admiring that the certificate has been certified in the right way.
Embassy or Consulate Attestation: The last but not the least is the legalization of the document by the embassy or consulate of the country which this person is planning to travel in the country of living of the holder of the document.
MOFA Attestation (if applicable): But most of the time, an attestation from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in the country of intended use is necessary every time it gets there.
Translation: In some of the cases the certificate may be in a language other than English or of the host country and therefore, translation may be needed.
Certificate attestation is a formal process through which, the genuineness of documents intended for use in a particular foreign country is ascertained. As per the legal standards and the procedural norms mentioned people and organisations can validate the certificates and get them recognized internationally. Thus, certificate attestation is nevertheless not to be in the overall process to be excluded since it is indeed one of the steps that need to be undertaken.

Send ❌ and my muse will tell you what they dislike about your muse // maybe for my Priest Seth or Mahad >>
💀~You decide to pick on Mahad and Priest Seth.~💀
He snorted lowly, his eyes itching to look away from the offending forms of both priests.
"Oh my. Where to start. Your slobbering all over his majesties robes has to be the most degrading thing, I have ever seen~
Additionally the shared attitude, that every living being on this planet is below your esteemed attention, in fact they can all just go and scram or even better PERISH.
Oh and most importantly, not to forget... you wield these Items around like they belong to you, like they are YOURS to have, which is the greatest LIE under this and every other sun.
You can pretend to not be aware of it, but I know... and so do you - hiding a lie doesn't make it the truth... it still is and always will be a rotten, dirty, selfish, filthy LIE."

Hi, For five months I've been trying to find a friend to create a campaign for me. I was even able to create a campaign through my friend Brooke Cole so that the campaign would be reliable and the donation would be protected for everyone. My children are living under bombardment in the war 😭 Please consider them your children and help them 🙏🙏 Stand by my side to save and protect my children. They haven't gone to school for a year 🙏😢😢 Donate to save my children's lives 🍉 🙏🇵🇸 We live in very difficult and desperate circumstances, and what is worst of all is that the fear that haunts me increases day by day. Help me provide them with basic life needs
Shaima and her four kids, Abdel Rahim, Magdy Walid, Amal, and her nephew, need to get to safety!!! Amal's newborn nephew suffers from nerve damage in his left hand which restricts movement in his right foot, which has gotten worse from Israeli bombing and chemicals. Please help her nephew evacuate to Eqypt and find the proper treatment!!!!! Please help Shaima and her children to find food, water, safety, and shelter !!!!!! Read more about their story in their GoFundMe and DONATE!!!!!!!

Lot Name: Djoser Pyramid
My week 4 build for #BGS5WorldTour took us to Eqypt and I decided to try building a pyramid.
I built The Djoser Pyramid (If you played Assassin’s Creed it might be familiar), it’s also the first pyramid in Egypt and the whole world. The construction of it led to the construction of bigger and longer-lasting pyramids we know of today.
It was a challenge fighting the urge to add a ton of foliage, but I had fun using the terrain tools and different stones to fill the space around the pyramid. Since most of the “fun” historical things are usually underground I made an underground tomb and made the first floor of the pyramid a maze with “dig sites.”
The skill-building areas are in the archeologists' station and in the underground tomb. I wanted to make the build function as a space for “archeologist” sims to explore and uncover relics.

I feel like talking about Arachne a bit, so here I am.
Aranche is Greek, which is why she chose Arachne, of all names, to represent her as a hero.
She's been the same height since she was 14 (5'6 or about 167 cm)
Her adoptive parents are Indian, though she also has an adoptive brother from Iraq, a pair of twin sisters from Eqypt, and two younger brothers, one from China and the other from Brazil.
Arachne speaks a smattering of all of her siblings native tongue (enough to know if they're swearing at her, at least, though her first language was Greek)
Her first injury after becoming a Spider Person was actually a broken foot after she landed badly.
Arachne's first spider suit was actually bright orange with reflective stripes (Miles was worried that people wouldn't see her).
Her siblings discovered that she was Arachne before her parents, and they helped her hide it from them...until they couldn't anymore.
Arachne's dad died at the hands of Venom one month into her training. He died without knowing that Arache was his daughter.
It took her a long time to get to the point where she's able to see Venom without wanting to kill him...Peter and Miles helped a lot.

leaves, ghost, and rain for the October asks!
Thank you for the very fun questions!!
🍂 leaves: what does your editing process look like? how does your wip typically change as you work on it?
It looks like pure chaos :'D I have a bad habit of editing and rewriting before I'm done with drafting and it has let to me restarting BCC (my oldest wip) for too many times to count. I have so many half finished drafts. And it has changed a lot. My writing process in general is very chaotic. I tend to outline and draft at the same time because I can't write without any outline, but I can't fully outline without writing. So as I continue to outline while writing, the story changes and I start to edit the draft also at the same time :'D
👻 ghost: can you tease some wip ideas that have been haunting you/something you want to write in the future?
It's been a while since I had this idea, but it's been on the back-burner and it's very much vague vibes mostly. But the pitch in the shortest form is: assassin nuns. The setting I had in mind was post-apocalyptic ancient Mediterranean, especially ancient Eqypt, inspired world, with some futuristic solar punk elements. The nuns are retired from being assassins (they were like assassins for the theocratic religious order) and are trying to atone for their past by helping people. And it would be kind of an anthology, or episodic in structure, with each part telling the story of one nun.
🌧️ rain: share a sad or emotional scene from your wip!
I will put this under the cut, it's fairly long. I've shared a small part of this in a last line tag game :D
Faerathos knocked the door and waited for a moment before entering, dreading what he might find. He was not sure what exactly he had expected but he was relieved to see Marcus relatively intact, sitting against a wall, wrapping a cigarette. His hands were shaking too much. He cursed under his breath as tobacco leaves fell out of the paper.
“Allow me”, Faerathos said quietly and squatted before him.
He didn’t protest as Faerathos took them out of his hands. He just turned his face away and wiped it on his sleeve. After Faerathos gave back the now wrapped cigarette, he took the gas lamp from the dresser and offered its burning heart for lighting. Fingers shaking Marcus placed the cigarette on his lips and leaned to the burning lamp heart. There were heavier shadows than usual under his red and puffy eyes. A little knot twisted in Faerathos’ insides. Marcus took a first breath from the cigarette and leaned on his knees.
“I didn’t have the pipe with me…” he muttered as if it needed some explanation.
Faerathos shifted uncomfortably. He was not sure if he should get up or sit down.
“Are you… okay?” What a stupid question. Of course he was not okay. He was a mess. “We were getting a bit worried since it’s been two hours.”
It somehow felt a little wrong to see Marcus like this. It didn’t feel the same as the many times he had cried in front of Marcus. Marcus was his uncle. Or stepfather by his own logic. He suppressed the amused chuckle. He wasn't supposed to see this.
Marcus turned his face away again. His lips trembled before he took another puff of tobacco. “No need to worry…” he said, voice coarse.
It was not very convincing.
After a silence, he rubbed his face with his palm. “I was not expecting that after fourteen years I would miss him this much”, he muttered. “It feels like I can’t live without him. But I have. For fourteen years.” A strain in his voice stretched until it broke. His hands were shaking again as he placed the cigarette on his lips.
Faerathos understood then. It had seemed like he hadn’t grieved for dad like someone who was his lover - not just a lover, the love of his life - because he hadn’t done that. He wasn’t afforded that, not even the acknowledgement of his grief. There was a heavy weight on Faerathos' chest as he took a deep breath.
“I truly am so sorry for your loss”, he said quietly.
Marcus raised his wet eye to Faerathos for the first time, but quickly turned away again and wiped his cheeks. “Why – I don’t – He was your father.”
“He was yours to lose too.”
Marcus covered his face and didn't answer. His shoulders trembled. He was sobbing quietly. Faerathos couldn't swallow the lump in his throat. He wanted to hug Marcus, but repressed the urge. Marcus wouldn't like it. Instead he leaned forward and placed his forehead on Marcus’ shoulder. A wave of grief for Marcus and for himself washed over him. Marcus sighted and wrapped his arms around Faerathos. His body shook with each sob. Slowly his sobs died down. He let go of Faerathos and wiped his face before smoking his almost done cigarette. Faerathos wiped his eyes too.
Great. Now he was also crying.
Once Marcus was done with his cigarette, he slowly got up, leaning on the wall. “Sorry…” he muttered as he placed his eyepatch back on his cut eye.
Faerathos shook his head, not really finding words anymore.
Marcus turned to look at him and made a weary chuckle. “You’re a good kid.”
“I’m neither”, Faerathos said, amused.
“You are.” He turned to look away. “To me, you are.”
A weight, Faerathos had forgot after so long, lifted from his chest. He tried to fight back tears, but they were already flowing down his cheeks. He wiped them quickly.
“You remind me of him more every day. He was quite like you at your age.” The corners of his lips curved to a small smile. “Though a little less messed up.”
As he looked at Faerathos again, there was something unusually soft and warm in his piercing gaze.
“Thanks a lot…” Faerathos said dryly and chuckled as he wiped his eyes.
"Only a little though."
