Finding Strength in Exile: My Journey of Survival and Hope
I never thought I would have to leave the home I loved, the streets where I played as a child, or the family I thought would stand by me. But when the truth about my identity came to light, my world fell apart. The community I had grown up in turned against me, and even my own family rejected me because of my sexuality.
With my life in danger, I fled my home country, hoping to find safety and acceptance in Kenya. But instead of refuge, I found even more hardship.
Kenya was meant to be a fresh start, a place where I could rebuild. But it quickly became another battleground. I faced attacks and hostility from my fellow refugees, people who, like me, were seeking safety but instead turned their pain and anger on me.
Tumblr media
I had to leave again, forced to seek safety in another country. Although I escaped the violence, the struggles didn’t end. I am now faced with daily challenges to secure even the most basic necessities—food, clean water, and medication.
A Call for Kindness and Support
Through all of this, I have clung to hope. I believe in the strength of the queer community—a family bound not by blood but by shared experiences, courage, and resilience. I know we have the power to lift each other up in times of need.
I am asking for help from my queer brothers and sisters, allies, and anyone who believes in the dignity and worth of every human being. Your support can help me survive these difficult days. Whether it’s a donation or simply sharing my story, every little act of kindness matters.
How You Can Help
If you’re able to contribute, please consider donating . Your support will go toward helping me access food, clean drinking water, and necessary medication. If you cannot donate, sharing this post with others who might be able to help is equally valuable.
My journey has been one of hardship, but it has also been one of resilience. I refuse to let the rejection I’ve faced define me. Instead, I hold on to the belief that kindness and compassion can change lives—even in the darkest times.
To anyone reading this who is also struggling: know that you are not alone. Together, we are stronger. Thank you for being a part of my journey.

Tumblr media Tumblr media
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Tumblr media Tumblr media

Come to our fraternity
The situation for homosexual men has improved in many parts of the world in recent decades, but there are still significant variations depending on the country and region. In some countries, significant progress has been made to promote the rights and equality of homosexual men, while in others, discrimination and persecution still occur.
In many Western countries, homosexual men now have legal protections and equal rights. Same-sex marriage or civil partnerships are recognized in many countries, and anti-discrimination laws protect against discrimination based on sexual orientation. Additionally, homosexual men in many countries have the right to adopt children or form their own families.
However, challenges and obstacles remain. Homophobia, stigma, and prejudice continue to exist in many societies. In some countries, homosexual acts are still criminalized, and homosexual men may face discrimination, violence, or social exclusion.
The recognition and acceptance of homosexual men also vary significantly across different cultural, religious, and social contexts. In some conservative or religiously influenced societies, homosexual men are still stigmatized and discriminated against.
It is important to note, however, that progress is being made. LGBT+ rights are increasingly recognized and supported worldwide, and there is growing visibility and acceptance of homosexual men in many areas of public life. Organizations and activists continue to work towards combating homophobia, protecting the rights of homosexual men, and creating an inclusive society where every person is respected regardless of their sexual orientation.
The situation for homosexual men is complex and multifaceted, and it differs from country to country. It is important to acknowledge the progress that has been made but also to continue fighting for full equality and recognition of homosexual men in order to create a fair and inclusive society. President Biden on Friday declared that he considers the Equal Rights Amendment to the Constitution “the law of the land,” a surprising declaration that does not have any formal force of effect, but that was celebrated by its backers in a rally in front of the National Archives.

Why is Social Justice Important
Tumblr media
Equity and Fairness. Social justice promotes the idea that all individuals deserve equal rights and opportunities, regardless of their background, identity, circumstances. It seeks to address inequalities and ensure that everyone has a fair chance to thrive.
Human Dignity. A focus on social justice recognizes and upholds the inherent dignity of all individuals. It challenges practices and systems that dehumanize or marginalize certain groups, fostering a more inclusive society.
Empowerment. Social justice initiatives aim to empower marginalized or disadvantaged communities. By addressing systemic barriers, individuals can gain the resources and opportunities necessary to improve their lives and communities.
Social Cohesion. A commitment to social justice can enhance social cohesion and harmony by fostering understanding, respect, and collaboration among diverse groups. This can lead to a more cohesive society where differences are valued rather than feared.
Economic Stability. Addressing social injustices can lead to a more equitable distribution of resources and opportunities, which can contribute to overall economic stability. When everyone has access to education, healthcare, and employment, communities are more resilient and prosperous.
Sustainable Development. Social justice is often linked to sustainable development goals, as addressing social disparities is crucial for achieving environmental and economic sustainability. Social equity ensures that development benefits are shared by all, not just a privileged few.
Active Citizenship. Social justice encourages individuals to be active participants in their communities and societies. This can lead to increased civic engagement, accountability, and a stronger democracy, as more voices are included in decision-making processes.
In this way, social justice is foundational to creating a fair and equitable society where individuals can achieve their full potential.

Capitalism and the Patriarchy
Through the breaking down of our puritan beliefs about gender and dismantling restrictive gender roles and stereotypes, we bind ourselves, we can take crucial steps toward true freedom. The patriarchy and capitalism so are deeply intertwined, each benefiting and reinforcing the other; the former, through these gender roles, perpetuates inequality an thrives on the hierarchical structures it creates. While capitalism, exploits these divisions to maximize profit and control. Only when they saw more profit and labor did they finally accept women into the workplace.
