Dinner at Yojimbo in Alameda. We got the Dragon, Just Basic, and Sobber rolls. The Sobber roll is covered with a whole eel! I also got the Katsu Curry and Gyoza. A word of warning: the portions are huge! I thought I could eat the curry and finish the sushi but it was definitely too much for me. The restaurant is also filled with beautiful works of art, including many Miyazaki prints. Have you ever eaten something Impossible? I have. Tried the Impossible Burger at Jardiniere and it was definitely an experience. If you don't know what it is, check out @impossible_foods to learn more. In a nutshell, it's a veggie burger that's looking to do the impossible, become a meat burger. - Overall, I'm pretty impressed but still felt underwhelmed. Probably because I had pretty high expectations going in. The burger was the definitely the best meatless burger I've eaten so I look forward to future improvements. Fries were served the way I like it, extra crispy. And the bread to start was extremely good. Fresh, hot, and crunchy with a perfectly soft interior. - Give it a try!
