Hi! Thanks for asking my questions a while back, but I was rewatching and had another one. I think you said some specific writer who wasn’t you mostly wrote the Sisko baseball stuff, so I was curious: what were the team loyalties for people writing that, if you remember? My mom thought it must be a National League team because in the scene where they’re on their first date, Sisko seems to approve of Kasidy’s brother’s league not having a designated hitter. (We’re an AL family — Tigers and Orioles — so she was pretty salty about that, haha.)

Ira Behr - Showrunner S3-7 - Yankees - BOOOO!

Ron Moore - Giants - YAY!

Rene Echavarria - Braves I think? He didn't grow up with the Marlins - Shrug

Me - Giants - YAY!

Hans Beimler - Pumas UNAM (Didn't care about baseball, I decided to root for Club América just to be contrary)

Giants Beat Up On Brewers!

Brewers 2 Giants 9 W-Webb (1-0) L-Peralta (0-1)

The Milwaukee Brewers made the short trip over to Scottsdale to play the Giants today. The Giants struck in the bottom of the first when Patrick Bailey walked and Matt Chapman smacked a Freddy Peralta offering out to left for a two-run homer. Wilmer Flores followed with a blast off Peralta to put San Francisco up by three after an inning of play. The Brewers answered in the third when Caleb Durbin belted a Logan Webb pitch out to left for a solo homer. The Giants would respond in the bottom of the third as LaMonte Wade crushed a Trevor Megill offering out to right for a long home run. This put the Giants up by three after three frames. The Giants would load up the bases in the fourth and LaMonte Wade knocked in a pair with a single to right. Willy Adams knocked in two more with a single to center and the Giants lead grew to seven. Mike Yastrzemski added a solo homer in the fifth and the San Francisco lead was up the eight. The Brewers added a run in the ninth and Randy Rodriguez eventually got the final out as the Giants won today at Scottsdale Stadium.

-Final Thoughts- Logan Webb looked good through three solid innings. He struck out four and gave up a run on three hits. Kyle Harrison threw two shutout innings with three strikeouts. Ryan Walker fanned two in the sixth, Hayden Birdsong had two shutout innings with three strikeouts. Randy Rodriguez gave up a run in the ninth. LaMonte Wade had two hits and knocked in three runs today. The Giants hit 2-for-7 with runners in scoring position and left six men on base. The Giants will play the Dodgers in Glendale tomorrow. Carson Seymour will face Matt Sauer at Camelback Ranch.
