Episode 4- February 20 2021

(Two post same day because they felt pretty short)

Brief Lore:

Instead of one editor, CS exploits the labor of 300 nano grandma (presumably for or less than minimum wage)

In the CS!universe, Los Angeles has multiple active volcanos (not ideal)

Thoughts: Not going to lie but I was not feeling this episode, I was not interested in the Schlatt versus Corpse Husband twitter stuff and I felt like it dragged on too long. The episode certainly had its moments, I liked it when Ted was talking about his TikTok and the email that had beef with Schlatt’s sponsorship smirk was funny.. but this is the first episode in this series where I kept checking how much longer I had to finish. 5.5/10, if you are just listening to it as background noise I think it’s a perfectly fine episode but if you are putting in most of your attention into it… there’s better options.

I’m going a little wild over the fact that Percy started feeling the effects of the chimera’s poison two minutes before he collapsed. I thought this part of the episode was weird when I first saw it because the camera focuses on him when it seemingly should be focusing on Annabeth, but then, I realized Percy’s odd behavior while he’s in focus.

He also turns abruptly, and a little late, to Annabeth, as if he just remembered to listen to her, as if he’d been distracted by something.

Then, this boy starts cracking jokes to cheer her up instead of saying, “Hey, something’s wrong; I could literally be dying.” And you can see on his face a few seconds before he collapses that the poison’s starting to really get to him, and still, he doesn’t attempt to get her attention and ask for help.

Then, when they’re at the fountain, he tells her and Grover that he’s feeling better even though he obviously isn’t, because he’s hoping he’s physically strong enough to pretend. (He falls on his ass.)

100% Percy just didn’t want to worry them and thought there was no way to find a cure in time anyway. I’M SCREAMINGG

The more i watch that whole rameyon scene...the more my mind is like...

" Did I really just watch that?"

"That whole convo with the whole scene/visuals is actually real??"

"Why was Jungkook smiling like that?"

Basically I still couldn't be able to digest that whole scene properly.

That is why my mind is constantly trying to find any logical reason behind it.

And my mind stops at-- like...it can be possible right that the whole convo was like 2 guy friends just having their "guy" talk??

It can be possible right...that they both are just great friends who tell everything to each other and it also includes their sexual experiences?? in that moment. in that very last moment. excellent face acting by kathryn hahn because you see the second the pieces click into place. what pieces are those?

he's powerful enough to break a spell cast by the scarlet witch. he knew exactly where to find her in westview, which he would know because billy was right there when wanda cast the spell. in this episode he is able to say the name nicholas scratch further confirming rio's statement "that boy isn't yours". and, in that last scene, he very much sounds like a naive hero, which was how agatha viewed wanda for the majority of wandavision. he says he doesn't want to be that kind of witch, he doesn't want to hurt people, he doesn't want to kill anyone to further his own agenda.

and in that last moment, her behavior shifts because he's no longer just this kid she has been looking out for. he's wanda's son.

What do you mean Cladeleine are growing flowers out of their victims remains. That Claudia has finally found the peace she deserves to go and let life and love carry her without fear. What do you mean Madeleine puts in plain words that Louis is in love with Armand, that she can feel it through him and subsequently, Armand's wondering if he does. Armand turning to smile at him, giving a gorgeous little laugh before kissing Louis cheek and standing from the table. "Why don't you want him to know how much you love him?" "he knows" as the joy slides off Armand's face and he steps out of the warmth he has forsaken.
