Episode 133- August 7th, 2024- Same day post- HOLY FUCK THEY FOUND US

Lore-

18:30 Ted says Tucker sold his soul to CS and Tucker acknowledges it

Thoughts-

This was a really pleasant episode in the first half and then it became one of the most painfully entertaining (emphasis on painful) episodes I’ve watched and reviewed. I am a absolute baby when it comes to secondhand embarrassment, like it’s ridiculous how much it affects me, but I surprisingly loved this episode. I just found it hilarious how much Tucker was into it and the guy’s flirting with each other’s bots just to kill them in the end just seemed so in character.

If we are looking at the episode by itself and not it’s implications for the fandom space, this was a really fun episode and I see myself watching it again. 8.5 outta 10

Things I noted-

Sorry for being inactive, I’ve been busy job hunting and being sad. I want to post more often but I’m just going to do the episodes I want to do instead of going in order like before so hopefully I can be more motivated to write these things. Episode 126- June 18th, 2024- The Jeopardy Episode

Lore- Slimecicle STILL owns a third of the company despite his death.

Thoughts- I haven’t watched a single episode since my last post back in May but after hearing the Sandwich Men had a CS Jeopardy episode, I just had to watch it. Welp I did and I have mixed feelings on this episode honestly. On one hand it’s probably the hardest I’ve laughed in months and hearing the word lore actually said made me unreasonably happy, but then there’s the fact that I never felt so frustrated at an episode.

Don’t get me wrong, Tucker being a jeopardy host when he has no idea how jeopardy works is hilarious but it makes it frustrating when I want to play along too. Also the Tucker perspective made me want to yell at my TV. It makes more sense for both the viewers/listeners AND Ted/Schlatt to use the information that that’s publicly available instead of just Tucker’s memory. Even if the game was just for Ted and Schlatt, how is Schlatt supposed to know that Ted told Tucker that he got high for 26 hours and not 36 hours? Using Tucker’s memory instead of what’s online really bothered me. I also wish there were more lore related questions instead of technical ones but that’s just a really niche issue that I have that I doubt any of y’all would have.

To sum up my thoughts: Amazing episode to just listen to but frustrating if you want to participate, 8/10, I recommend the riddles episode or would you rather episodes if you want to join in… or episode two if you were expecting a lore packed video like I was.

Episode 117- April 16th, 2024- God did not want me to watch this

Lore- none to my knowledge

Thoughts- To get this out of the way, I did not finish this episode. I swear up and down that this episode in particular is cursed. I tried like eight different times but EVERY TIME I tried watching this episode something mildly-moderately shitty would happen. My phone randomly shut down/updated on its own once, I got one of the worst migraines, and this most recent attempts from today my dog got sick on my bed 6 minutes in. It’s ONLY this episode, I’ve had no trouble with the requested episodes or the Swagger episode whatsoever. I’m taking this as a sign from the universe to throw in the towel, sorry to disappoint.

According to my own rating system I have to rate whatever I don’t finish less than a five so technically this would be a 4.9/10. However from what I saw, it’s a fine episode maybe a 7.5/10.

Episode 84- May 9th, 2023- QTCinderella episodes (quickie post)

An: Okay so I didn’t expect to make a post about this episode but me and my mom watched it and it was really good so here it is. I most likely will redo this episode more in-depth when I get to it but that’s not going to be for a while.

Lore:

55:53 Ted claims to have a “quivering member”, balls, and a “flower” down there. Both Schlatt and QT deny the claim which usually would make me scrap this part of the lore but it’s cs!Ted’s body so I’m going to trust him on his claims.

Women and The Gays™️ are at odds with each other. Women (including lesbians) are claiming back June as their own month, there’s also a annual women’s meeting on June 15th

Thoughts: This episode was really funny and QT had amazing chemistry with Ted and especially Schlatt. She just might be my favorite guest on the podcast even more than Jaiden which is saying something. I could just listen to her go on and on about her experiences with Mormonism and seeing the chuckle boy be stunned at times was absolutely hilarious. It is definitely one of the more explicit episodes but it’s also easily in the top three episodes, plus it’s my mom’s favorite episode so take what you will with that. 10/10, go watched it if you haven’t or if it’s been awhile.

Episode 119- May 2nd, 2024- Swagger is back :D (same day post)

Lore-

Ted materializes out of thin air/can teleport

Bare with me on this. Back in episode two Ted admits he has demon heritage. Comparing his abilities to Charlie’s (rip) and there’s some similarities, Charlie has a rift from hell to the living world and can materialize into his ghost form (ep 105, the second Christmas special) albeit in a much smaller scale (can only use the rift once a year and it takes 14 days to transform). I know there’s some moments in the podcast that imply Charlie isn’t 100 percent human I just don’t remember which ones, but if that were the case, I would put money on Charlie having some demon heritage himself.

This begs the question of what is the ratio of human to supernatural beings in the CS universe? Ted and likely Charlie are demons, Tucker is a cherub, Swagger has the whole webbed skin thing going on, and Schlatt is possibly the only human member in the podcast. I’m thinking that it’s either an Amazing World of Gumball situation where anything and everything coexist with each other or something like a lizard people situation where there’s a few handfuls of them and they are all in tight knit communities.

I know I sound insane but this project is also kinda insane so this was expected

Thoughts-

I had fun with this episode. Swagger is definitely up there for my favorite guests and having Ted physically with him was a nice surprise that added to the experience.

Ngl I completely forgot about the sponsorships and it threw me off a bit, especially the engagement ring segment like hearing Schlatt of all people talking about wedding rings feels off. I’m also not too crazy for today’s thumbnail but that’s just me nitpicking.

Overall this was a really entertaining episode that is going in my rewatch playlist, 9/10, hell yeah.
