A thought I had about TMA
Spoilers for things after ep 160.
hello, Jon. apologies for the deception
Anyway the thought I had is that Jon couldn't stop reading the statements. It started to feed them, to satiate him.
It's the same with the Listeners. In a way, we are the Ceaseless Watcher, listening and watching. I've been listening to tma for like 2 days in a row now, gone through at least 60 episodes and I don't think I can stop now, not until I finish it.
I could've stopped listening before 160. Could've stopped and just kept on believing that Jon and Martin would be okay together, that Basira and Daisy would find their way back to eachother.
But no, I couldn't stop listening. And now, Jon and Martin are in (what I call) the Fearlands.

The two first quarter-final games have shown that the KH Energa Toruń players are well prepared for the playoffs. The team beat JKH GKS Jastrzębie twice during the away games. Mateusz Studziński, who had replaced the injured Julius Pohjanoksa early in the first meeting, did a great job. On Sunday he had saved all the 49 shots!
"We had a lot of luck" - he said humbly. | Credits: x / x

I forgot how beautiful Inuyasha was.. Rumiko Takahashi really knows how to capture emotion and flesh out some very beautiful, lovable characters. No other show brings me to tears or makes me feel such joy. The story itself is so intricate and heartbreaking, a beautiful story about fate and tragic love, and good and evil.

WTNV quick rundown - 163 - Bravo
Read the rest here!
Our moral compass has been demagnetized. Welcome to Night Vale.
Carlos and Cecil are going to see a new play at the NV Asylum called "The Disappearance and Cover-up of Flight 18713 as Performed by the Inmates of the Asylum of Night Vale under the Direction of Undercover Agents from the National Safety and Transportation Bureau." Or "18713/NTSB" for short.
They were invited to see the play by the only person Cecil knows from inside the asylum, it's warden, Charles Rainier.
The NTSB officers from before are the writers/directors of this play. When Cecil asks Sheriff Sam (who is also there, along with some secret and overt police officers and an angel) how the undercover operation is going they insist that the NTSB officers are actual inmates due to being actually criminally insane. Either way, Doug Biondi, the man they wanted to interview, has been cast as the pilot of the plane.
The play starts by telling the already known story of Delta 18713, then Doug Biondi interupts to talk about how nobody here is insane - instead they are people who know things that the government etc does not want them to know or talk about - and have been impressioned and mistreated to prevent them for giving that information out. He then initiates a breakout in which all the asylum inmates escape. NV is placed on lockdown.
Weather: “One One Thousand” by Raina Rose
When Cecil gives the angel $10, the back pain which has plagued him for 6 months suddenly goes away.
Cecil and Carlos have seen Hamilton, which in NV is about figure skater Scott Hamilton.
Cecil states it's a rare treat for them to get out of the house, due to the cost of tickets, dinner, parking, a babysitter, tuxedo rentals, and all the time spent watching YouTube make-up tutorials for jamming facial recognition cameras.
Cecil is worried about being near the 'criminally insane' unlike Carlos gives him a small lecture on how asylums are actually structures of neurotypical ableism perpetuated by stereotypes about the mentally ill.
Carlos' fave new Frank Ocean album is called 'Various Animals Screaming' and the title is literal.
It seems that Doug Biondi also heard the voices of those on Delta 18713 and wrote about them in a journal as well as expressing his disgust at being kept in the asylum just for knowing things they don't want him to.
Stay tuned next for a series of audio clicks, which is definitely not federal agents tapping your radio. Don’t worry about it. Good night, Night Vale. Good night.
Intern Seamus is sent to look for more information on Doug Biondi in the library but has not returned.
David Biondi has a wide smile that extends past his ears.
