I forgot how beautiful Inuyasha was.. Rumiko Takahashi really knows how to capture emotion and flesh out some very beautiful, lovable characters. No other show brings me to tears or makes me feel such joy. The story itself is so intricate and heartbreaking, a beautiful story about fate and tragic love, and good and evil.

I've been playing The Wandering Village after watching Real Civil Engineer's series on YouTube, and I have to say, shit is FUN. As it says on the tin, I've got a big preference for farm sims, not really a town-builder person, but oh my god, I love this game so much-- from the concept to the graphics to the gameplay loop. It reminds me of Nausicaa! I'm big on "Earth is a creature" folklore, so the Onbu is a great play on that, and it's super inspiring for my own fantasy worldbuilding.

I've only been playing on Novice mode because I'm a big wimp, but I feel like I'm really getting the hang of it. I might move on to Normal mode soon. Highly recommend if you're a fan of town-builders and cool creatures!!

what I enjoy about the ultrakill soundtrack is that a lot of the songs have a wistful sort of sound to them. they sound all intense and kind of ominous and then they’ll pull a sudden key change and you go “wow this sounds hopeful and triumphant all of a sudden”. thinking about the arpeggios in glory. rotating them in my mind

Still going crazy over the blend of musical themes at the end of the episode where Echo leaves the batch btw. The light melody of Omega, especially prevalent when she hugs Echo goodbye, a background scale of notes in the Bad Batch, transitioning into The Clones when it pans to just Echo and Rex, and Senator Chuchi who’s in it for the rest of the clones? It’s light and melancholy, a proper goodbye, and shows Echo’s decision so well - he’ll always have a home, a family with the bad batchers, but now his other brothers need his help.

And don’t get me started on Crosshairs theme - on Kamino, the way it goes between the melody and the electro beats of Empire Crosshair, yknow what I mean? The way the chorus sings it on The Outpost, how those electro beats are played by brass once he betrays the Empire? How it never blends with Hemlock’s theme on Tantiss, but always clashes enough to be noticeable, to interrupt - a musical representation of his rebellion and refusal to cooperate.
